Easy to disassemble and clean
Before cleaning the device, switch off the device, wait a few minutes and then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Here are the disassemble process,
- Unscrew the screw as shown in step 1
- Remove the fan cover by turning it counterclockwise
- Loosen the blade nut clockwise, then remove the blade, then wipe it
- After cleaning, tighten the nut counterclockwise to install the blade, and then tighten the cover screw as shown in step 5
To make it longer life, If not used for a long time, please remove the battery from the remote control.

We ordered this fan during a heatwave, more for use when the next heatwave occurred in truth as we had always put it off before and then wish we had not. The fan was not silent but was quite as described, the noise it did make was soon forgotten once you had stopped listening for it.
There is a good range of speeds and the double oscillation it good, it takes time to shift a room full of air but once it gets going the effect is good.
Although very expensive at full price, if you can get this fan with a deal then it is well worth the money. It is quiet, efficient, powerful and actually quite nice to look at. A well-designed, well-made piece of kit.
Very powerful fan. I can feel it several metres away even on the 1st setting. Its the quietest fan I have ever experienced. Standing next to it on the 1st setting, I cannot hear it at all.
Expected heatwave in a couple weeks and will update further when I use a higher setting.

The fan is not huge but pumps out a considerable airflow. It has great options for direction and levels but the real winner is the noise level. Because it is a dc engine it is really quiet. Night mode seems too weak for me but on level 3 of 8 things are chilly enough for a hot summer evening and very low noise still. And no disturbed sleep. It also uses much less power than my other fan which sounds like an aircraft propeller. I will be buying a few more of these as global warming increases!

When oscillating from the left, there was a strange knocking sound which varied in volume. It seemed to me that there was a problem with the base gear system. The fan was returned and promptly refunded by the seller. Aside from this problem, the fan was nicely constructed and the various speeds were very good.

So I’ve only had a the fan a week or two but so far, it’s fantastic (unintentional pun there). I’d knock it down one star as it doesn’t extend much height-wise but the rest of it is so good, that doing so would be picky. The remote is an IR one so you need a straight line of sight to it which is fine but not ideal. The noise level on the lowest settings is blissfully quiet but of course, isn’t when you ramp it up (how could it be quiet at high speed?). Overall, a solid piece of kit that’s really well made.
Brilliant product so far, speeds are good and oscillation and remote functions are excellent.

Bought this because my daughter needs to stay cool due to eczema. Switched on 24h/day since we have got it. The noise level at speed 3 is okay and the sleep mode is very quiet. We put the fan at the end of bed and no issue with using the remote controller from the bed.
I went through 5 different fans trying to find one that was quiet enough to have on while I sleep, until I found this one. It’s almost silent when on it’s lowest setting, and very powerful on it’s highest setting.
While a little expensive for a fan, I’m happy paying a bit more for something that’s built well and let’s me have a good night’s sleep.

We already had one of these fans but bought a second due to how good they are! They are in line with similar fans cost wise.
Great functions and useful remote. Being smaller its ideal for easier storage in the winter, but it certainly packs a punch with its power. Never needed it of full yet!

I was a bit sceptical purchasing this fan due to the price tag but luckily it got discounted and I quickly bought it. What an absolutely amazing purchase that is. I live the remote control which I didn’t think I’d need but boy was I wrong. I didn’t think I could actually enjoy using this fan so much and it also looks fantastic in my bedroom – I keep having people compliment how fancy it looks.
Ive bought many fans over the years and thrown many away. This one breaks the mold. First off, the fan feels well built and has the potential to last for many years. It is a break from the normal style of a huge fan on a stick that hums and buzzes away whilst taking up a large space. Instead it is compact and stylish and would look good in the most modern of homes.
Fans however are not purchased for their ornamental value. They are purchased to provide cooling and refreshing airflow and this fan doesn’t disappoint. It is very powerful and is capable of projecting a column of air across a large room. Because this fan is DC powered it manages to do this with relative quietness. No more humming and buzzing and anything from almost total silence at the lowest speed to a gentle whoosh at the higher speeds.
If you are looking for a fan for your bedroom, look no further. This one is totally silent at the two lowest speeds and provides more than enough air movement for a large bedroom. I don’t often write reviews but I’ve been after a fan that I can have on during the night that won’t disturb me. This fan does that! The third speed setting is really quiet and I can sleep with this about 6 to 8 feet away and still feel the breeze. The first and second speed setting are ridiculously quiet and I can sleep with this just a foot or two away and provides a really steady light air flow. Can even have this on downstairs whilst watching the TV without it whirring or droning in the background. Love it. Love it so much I bought 2 more for the kids to have one each and with the recent heat wave is been a God send.
It’s not a really tall fan and it doesn’t angle down as much as conventional fans but I’ve not found that a problem.
Not sure what the sleep function does, probably reduces the speed over time??? The natural function imitates wind so cycles through the speed setting to give you really gentle then stronger speeds.

The main area of irritation was the initial set up ; in tiny writing as an afterthought at the end of the set up booklet, it says to tighten the nut on the fan. So you need to unscrew the cage at the front and tighten the nut. I turned the nut the wrong way and it fell off – then I couldn’t get it back on again but I was trying to turn it the wrong way! So frustrating. When it was all put together again and I got it working, I was very pleased with the functions and performance of the fan. It is very quiet on a low setting. Although a bit pricey it is good quality and worth paying a bit extra. A godsend in this heatwave!

I sent my 50 previous fan back after not being able to put something together and the Amazon customer service asked if one of my family members could help????? WTH!!!!!!
Initially I was skeptical as well, especially since I could get a normal standing fan for probably 1/3rd of the prize. It was easy to setup right from the start. All I had to do was literally unpack it, and plug it in. The fan really blew my mind off. It was quiet, when I mean quiet I mean QUIET. The different speed settings, the 2 different modes (sleep and natural), the different variations for timer settings, the horizontal and vertical oscillation all of them were amazing. I keep the fan by my bed, but there is a distance of probably 2 feet between the fan and my face whilst sleeping. I keep it on the 4th speed setting, and I have no issues about the wind nor the sound of it. But of course the more you ramp up the speed, the louder it gets. But trust me, although it gets loud it is not extremely loud (also great amount of wind is received by you). The remote control have all the basic stuff one would need, but I usually get stuff done manually.
But I had issues with the fan after a few days. There was a noise from the base of the fan. And oh believe me, it was taken care by a friendly customer service professionally and REAL QUICK. All I had to do was explain what was wrong, and attach a video of it. Within a span of 3 days, they sent me a replacement fan and I did not have to even return my initial fan. It was WIN-WIN.
Also the horizontal & vertical oscillation looks kinda cool not going to lie. Catches the eye of pretty much everyone who has laid their eyes upon it.

The price is quite high even though the fan is amazing.
The power cable is limited to 1 meter.
The height of the fan is a HUGE downside. Although I have kept mine on a raised platform, it is still not sufficient. I really wish it was probably another feet longer.
The noise level is quite suppressed, although as mentioned earlier the more you ramp up the speed there is huge curve on the noise. But it is definitely not something that would keep most people at nights.
My partner always has had a fan on all night long. The tower fan we had recently broke so I invested in a new fan. After buying this one I came across a few reviews saying “you can get the same in B&Q/John Lewis much cheaper!”. So I bought the one from John Lewis too. Expecting to send this one back.
Spoiler… They are not the same. They look the same in every way but the internals are in fact different. The berssen has more fine control over the speeds but more importantly seems better quality. The John Lewis version has become noisier. Still quieter than a normal fan but it is noticeable. And the finer control over the fan speed does actually make more of a difference than I expected.
Anyway.. I kept both. Just keep the Berssen upstairs where it gets the most use and the John Lewis one is downstairs for the occasional times we need it in the day.
Both are great fans though and I would definitely recommend the berssen.. Particularly if its reduced in price.
This is my second one of these, and they literally only last a year but when it’s working it’s amazing. Well worth it during the summer. Just remember it has a shelf life.

I absolutely love this fan. It’s my fourth purchase and a present for my dad. He loves it too. It’s super quite on a lower setting, perfect for the bedroom and can turn on High for strong wind on a hot summer day 🙂 I had a small issue with the fan this time. I contacted Berssen and they were so helpful and put things right straight away. A replacement was sent out in no time. I am very pleased with the fan as well as the service from Berssen. Like the fact that I can buy with confidence so highly recommended.
On low, it’s so quiet I can’t hear it at all (and my hearing is fine). It’s mesmerising and effective.
The only downside is, for my purposes, it’s too tall on its lowest point on a table, and too short on the floor. I’ve found a solution, just not where I wanted it.
The fan itself is great, extremely quiet on low, like a hurricane on high. So much gone into this all I can say is buy this fan for the hotter weather hopefully to come you won’t be disappointed. Excellent bit of kit!.. also great seller.. I bought two cos got a good lighting deal at the time
One of my best buys by far ! Top quality fan with quiet lower settings for nighttime use and powerful settings for those hot sticky days where the double oscillation mode moves cool air around the house . The remote control is a godsend and the timer is so useful to have when you can just set it and fall asleep! I would recommend this fan without reservation. Not cheap, but you only get quality if you spend a bit more .

I was very close to buy a Dyson fan and at the end I went for this one and no regrets, I love how quiet it is (unless you put it at high speed) It’s great for sleeping or watching tv. It has a sleeping mode that gradually lows the speed of the fan during the night. Small size and doesn’t take much space which is great and the remote responds well.
I’m updating my review as after a week I bought another one for downstairs. Best fans I’ve ever bought! my living room gets very hot on sunny days and the fan really made a difference.

The noise level is amazing along with the sleep mode and remote. It’s all round movement circulates air so well and it’s high speeds are brilliant when on those really hot days! Overall, I’m very impressed with this fan, it looks stylish, has great features and is very powerful compared to other large fans I’ve owned. It has an impressive number of speeds and the touch sensitive controls work really well. The noise levels on the fan are surprisingly good. On lower and medium speeds it’s really quiet and I can still sleep with the fan on the 2 highest speeds.
It is quiet and as good as the meaco air circulator. I hope it give me several years of service

This one comes with a remote, meaning it can be operated whilst lying in bed or sat on her chair, but it’s also height adjustable, meaning that it fits on the unit in her bedroom and doesn’t take up valuable floor space.
It’s a nice adjustable strength power fan that can be strong enough to push your hair in a mess if you want it to, or lower down the power to have a nice gentle breeze flowing around the room, which is normally the setting we have it on.
I’m impressed with the wind power with this thing, really reaches all corners of the living room.

Bought this to use in our mini gym. Almost silent on the lower speeds and still quieter than your average fans on the higher speeds.
The vertical rotation combined with the horizontal rotation gives a great range and the remote control is good to use while working out on the exercise equipment.

I researched this fan for a while and watched a few YouTube videos then finally took the plunge when the price was right.
It’s an amazing fan noise for me wasn’t such of an issue but it is fairly quiet, the power though for such a small fan is immense.
The oscillation is where it comes into its own the fact it can do both vertical and horizontal at the same time really is impressive,

We needed a fan strong enough for a heat trapping loft but quiet enough for sleeping. This is a great fan. Barely noticeable it’s on when using the lower settings, the higher settings are more powerful but still quieter than a conventional pedestal fan. The effects can be felt 5m away. The different modes work well. It is compact for ease of storage and doesn’t dominate the room. The remote is the size of a credit card and is very lightweight. The on/off button on the remote is easy to find in the dark. The only downside is the remote does not indicate the different levels/options and is not illuminated. But overall, very happy and purchased a second fan. Highly recommend.
It is efficient and has a significant cooling effect. Our grand children’s bedrooms are South facing and get very hot. These fans are the only ones which gave them comfortable nights. Very quiet on sleep setting too.

Great fan, well made/sturdy, circulates the air in the room, very quiet considering how much air it’s moving (on high it’s VERY strong), very quiet oscillation… only thing I can think of that’s bad is it’s more of a low floor fan as the stand is not that high.
Best I’ve ever had. So quiet that I recommend you use the timer to stop automatically. I use mine in the study and have left on overnight because it’s so quiet I forgot it was on when I packed in for the evening.

Having purchased this Berssen air fan from Amazon UK , and had it shipped to me here in Mallorca by a friend living in Bristol. After it arrived well packed and protected in the manufactures box , I lifted the fan out of the box, and was amazed how small it was compared to some conventional fans . I set it on the floor in front of my sofa and plugged into my wall socket. Then I looked for the remote to turn it on . Neither bothered it was on . It was totally silent. Could not believe how quite it was . Admittedly it was on the first speed , nevertheless I initially found that satisfactory. Turning the fan to the second speed it made no difference to the sound , it’s was again virtually silent. I started to use the vertical and horizontal oscillation which can be adjusted into any position by the remote control. I also tried out some of the other functions such as the normal, natural and sleep modes again with the remote control, I found the natural mode replicating different types of breezes more to my liking . I did push the speeds to the maximum 8 setting. But even at the maximum speed it was still quieter than a normal speed conventional fan . Just a pleasant whoosh sound that did not drown out the television
All in all , I have to say I’m very impressed with this air fan with its various modes , height adjustments and most importantly how quiet it was . Just can’t get over that it’s virtually silent at low speeds . I definitely can highly recommend this new generation fan to anyone. It takes air fans into a different league compared to a conventional fan blowing air from side to side and not being able to oscillate up and down compared to this fan , giving an air shower effect bouncing air of the ceiling to all parts of the room.
My only complaint and criticism so far is the length of the power cable. I do feel it’s on the short side . I’m now having to use an extension lead, but that’s not really a deal breaker. But something the manufacturer could take note of.
Having compared the specifications of the Berssen air fan , to a similar type of air fan from “Meaco ” . In my opinion this fan is more powerful on paper quieter and better looking than the Meaco , and best of all at time of writing this review , it’s 38 cheaper as well. Due to Berssen summer promotional price .

This really is a great product. These days i dont seem to be able to sleep without a fan and took more time than i should have trying to decide what to go for. This is a compact fan which has great power…even during recent heatwaves i didnt use full pwer setting. It rotates left right and back and forth very smoothly. Its look great and is pretty quiet. It really is a great product and I 100% recommend it.

Really like this fan and have had it for around 3 weeks now. Wouldn’t you know it just after the heat wave.
However, it does create a very 360-ish airflow all around the room/s. The 8 speed is great and allows for a high degree of variability in airflow. Its very light weight but base heavy so has a great, low centre of gravity.
At the lowest setting it is whisper quiet and at the highest setting it is noisy, albeit still better than most I’ve heard. The noise is a quality noise in that the mechanics of it sound well built and expected to last.
Lights are bright-ish even when dimmed after a little while so if you are prone to noticing might not be the best for sleeping with. I was ok with it.

Absolutely brilliant. So I’ve used this fan for a week or so now and it’s is amazing, it’s powerful, it looks really nice, it has a child lock feature which is a must with little kids about, it has a remote and it oscillates up and down and side to side which is really good.
I have a fair sized lounge and this fan with it not looking so big packs a punch. Yes I have to say that at max level it is abit noisy but I think with the power it has I would be more surprised if it didn’t.
This fan definitely kept us cool through the horrible humid nights and during the really hot days and I honestly thought about why the need for an up and down motion but it’s really cool, so when you have both the up/down and side2side motions on it just throws air all over the place and in my lounge, when it hit his the ceiling, you could feel the air come down around you which was amazing, it really cools down the room.
Moving the fan from room to room is no problem because it’s really light and taking it up stairs is also no problem too.
This fan comes with a remote which is great and it reaches the fan on the other side on my lounge and bedroom so I would say it has no issue reaching 4ft or so.
So the base also has the buttons on it also and they’re touch sensitive and they work great but the best feature is if you hold your finger on the power button for 3 or so secs then the base child locks and it’s been so good to have, I have a 2yr old and it has stopped her constantly turning that fan off or pressing buttons at all like she does on the other fan I have and oh my gosh it gets frustrating having to get up and down having to turn the fan back on but with this fan that isn’t an issue.

Really like this i couldn’t justify the cost of a Dyson and spent some time looking at various options, I choose this fan as it looked unique. It looks really nice in the room works well and on the low settings is complete silent. I highly recommend this fa
