The lifespan of the battery is amazing, adjust-ability of the angle of light and spot, wide angle or both..very nice!!
I like my lights bright, and have been through several headlamps now. Many feel clunky and bounce a lot, others can’t handle a little bit of rain without dying. But this one has handled it all, is ridiculously bright, and also pretty comfortable while running. Overall, the only thing I dislike is the slow dimming of the light, which requires me to press the button again every few minutes to go back to max illumination. Many lights seem to do this, and I absolutely hate it. If I set it to 500 lumens, stay at 500 lumens, and I don’t give a damn if it’ll make the battery run out faster. This is especially true for this light, which comes with a cable that you can clip to a belt or pack and plug into an external battery for extended life in use.
So after spending hours searching for a headlamp I finally decided on the Biolite 700. The 30% off listed price didn’t hurt either. Every headlight had one form or another a negative review so I was leery. Took my chances with this one. I used it so far in the attic and also around the house during power failure at night.
Looking forward to using it when I go camping. Did not take long to figure this is a win of a purchase for the price. Good quality build, plenty of light, spot, broad, strobe and red lighting dimmable. No complaints thus far! I do recommend.
Die Stirnlampe ist sehr gut und der Sitz am Kopf ist echt angenehm. Leider ist die Neigungsarretierung nicht sehr fest und die Lampe klappt gerne mal hoch (vorallem bei groen Kpfen) daher ging die Lampe zurck.
Der Rckversand war durchaus kompliziert und Problematisch, wobei die Problem nicht durch Amazon sondern Zalias hervorgerufen wurden. Da dies eine Produktrezission ist gehe ich hier nicht lnger auf den Lieferanten ein.
Had this for a few months now, holds battery very well, fast to charge back up, brightness is good but very focused, not alot of spread
It is comfortable, although the battery is a bit heavy. It fits well to the head and lasts reasonably longer. The 330 version fits better but lasts a lot less due to its battery size.
This headlamp is extremely bright and the battery lasts a long time. Unfortunately after my 2nd day of using it at camp the button on top of the headlamp doesn’t work anymore. The company made everything right and sent me a new one on warranty and were fast and friendly about the issue
I bought this for my boyfriend as we walk a ton at night with our dog in the woods. This headlamp has an exceptional battery life. The fit is comfortable for his head or mine. The range and diameter is wonderful. It’s the next best thing to walking in daylight on high setting.
Brought another head lamp and it sucked so brought this. Way better and comfortable for a person who hates items on his head. Red flasher is bright. Front light also goes onto lower power mode when battery get low so you can get home. Love it.
I use headlamps and have used Petzl for 30+ years. I put the few I have owned thru their paces. I dared to try the BioLite as it had the req.s needed. I have been very pleased. Great lighting, light weight, battery lasts.
The rear light adds greater visibility than a vest when running in the dark. Both lights are very bright and head strap is comfortable

The button on top gets stuck from time to time and can be difficult to get unstuck while the flashlight flashes through all of its different modes.

A bulkier battery pack than most but placing it in the back gives the unit a good balance. Extremely bright, many modes to choose from. Rear red safety light is a nice touch.
So this was a recommendation from a friend who also owns one . He was satisfied with it . The dimmable capabilities are the big seller here , battery life indicator, and boost option are all great. The only reason I couldn’t give it five stars, the on/off button gets stuck if you press it too hard. Seems a bit flimsy , which is surprising because the build is really well designed…if you get the on button stuck it rotates through all the on options until it turns off like it’s glitches out . It’s fixable with some fiddling but a sort of fail .
It is like walking into a room with the light switch on. I had to do some repairs under a house and in the attic. Great light! Also I had my trailer lights go out and was able to use the blinking red light zip tied on the back to get home safe
I got this for my husband for Christmas, and he loves it! The battery lasts a long time, and it’s rechargeable, so he can plug it in his truck if we go out camping. He’s all about lumens when it comes to flash lights, and he loves how bright it is for a head lamp. He also said it’s very comfortable on his head. Would definitely buy again!
I’ve owned a lot of head lamps over the years and this one really takes the cake. Battery life is amazing, good settings that you can adjust the brightness of. Highly recommend this product.
I’m impressed with the light output, battery life and comfort. I was a bit confused with the button functions at first but a quick instructional YouTube video did the trick. I only wish it used USB type C charging as I’m tired of seeing new tech products using the old micro USB. Also, there is no ‘set’ low, medium, high lumen settings, i.e., its almost like a analog type control where you hold the main function button to turn the lumens up or down. Overall really good for running, hiking and cross-country skiing.
