Works great, but it really could do with a timer; you can invest in a digital timer or a regular one if you can put up with rattle; it does memorise the settings.
Honestly, I’m not really too sure what to say and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get this mostly in thought of my new PlayStation 5. But I have issues with quick dust collection in my room because I’m right next to the attic and with giant windows. It definitely helps the air feel “cleaner” and maybe because its mid summer and I’ve been wanting to keep my door and windows open it hasn’t had a chance to work at full capacity? I think I’m going to start leave it running a lot more and I’ve mostly been using it at power level 2 you could say, which is why I don’t want to give a noise rating because it can vary, but after a while you can really can stop noticing it. Not sure how helpful this was but I’d say it’s pretty good, if that means anything at all.
Just impressed at first time I’ve turned on wow now I keep it at low speed and it’s super easy to use, you can feel the fresh air at super speed !

I felt the difference very quickly, with these. Design wise larger than I thought but not obtrusive. Sound is minimal on 1, 2 I can sleep with in, 3 is louder but good to freshen a room.
If you’re thinking on purchasing. Take the leap.

Could it live without this now. I suffer from asthma and hayfever, as well as dealing with long COVID issues. Since buying this things have improved. The added benefit is when it is warm you just turn it up and it pumps out cold air as well. It has really helped me night and it helps improve my rehabilitation from long Covid which helps my return to ultra marathon running

I am a super light sleeper, everything wakes me up! This product is so quiet on setting 1 that I had to check it was actually on!! I have been suffering with severe hay-fever this year and also had an eye infection for over 4 weeks from the hay-fever. After just 2 days of using this product, my hay-fever has calmed down at night and even my eye infection feels less puffy today! I no longer wake up with a blocked nose and headache from the hay-fever! Will likely buy another one so I don’t have to keep moving it around the house and can have one in my office and my bedroom. I think I have noticed a slight change to the air quality in my bedroom after using this product but too early to say. (It will make the room cooler when it is on but I don’t mind this for the bedroom).

I bought this product after reading some excellent reviews on the internet. It is light and very easy to operate and move around. My daughter suffered a lot of noise blocks and allergies and this purifier seems to have helped alleviate her problems. The air around the house certainly feels cleaner. Slight negative is that it does increase the humidity level in the room and might possibly be an issue during winter use. It is a bit noisy on the highest setting as illustrated in my video. Other than that, a bit expensive but does seem to do the job.
This has helped my breathing and reduced the stuffiness in my nose that I didn’t know I had! Its on the lowest setting and on all day, its so quiet I regularly put my hand over the top to check its on. Its really light and simple to use, set up and maintain. The pre-filter is a winner as its unreal how much that catches. It does get a fair bit noisier on the higher settings, so I usually put it on those when I am out of the room. I noticed the room/I get warmer on the higher settings. So I haven’t used this on a setting above 1 with me in the room.
I would still buy this again/more for other rooms purely for the price and simplicity. Replacement filters a fairly priced and do not require changing so often due to the pre-filter (additional available at reasonable price). I read reviews of other products and they have similar issues regarding noise levels and the price of replacement filters are higher and more often, with gimmicky apps and a higher starting cost. If you need a device that works, low cost and easy to maintain, that’s this product.
My 8 year old daughter has suffers with eczema and asthma and has for years. She had been constantly sneezing in her bedroom. One night with this plugged in and no more sneezing and she’s even commented how fresh her room smells and feels. Highly recommend!
Very effective and great value for money. You can really smell the crisp, clean filtered air living in polluted London. My girlfriend had major allergy issues while sleeping, but, they have since disappeared since we got the Pure 411. Much recommended!

Bought this for my son’s room. Very easy to use. Definitely improves air quality in teenager’s room. Small size and light, so easy to move from place to place. It cools down room temperature slighly. We also have a bigger blue air purifier. This one(Blue air Blue Pure) is much quieter.

I’ve been suffering with a blocked nose for years during the night and when I wake in the morning. Having done a little bit of research into air purifiers I thought I’d try one out.
The Blue Air 411 had great reviews online and recommendations from magazines so although the price isn’t cheap i thought it would perform well.
After 3 days of usage in our bedroom my breathing is so much better. Unbelievably so in fact!
I wasn’t too sure that an air purifier could be so effective, especially as the lowest setting (manufacturer recommendation) makes no noise so you wonder if it’s actually doing anything!
I have been experimenting with a high setting a while before bed and then the lowest setting at night and this seems to be working well for me.
I’ve hooked it up to a hive smart plug as well so now I can put it on a timer (the blueair remembers the last setting it was on too).

Bought this due to ongoing issues with my asthma and some lung problems, abs immediately feel this is money well spent. We’re using in the bedroom, with an alternative one in the living room and this one seems better and more effective, even though it is the cheaper model. I am astounded that it has made such an immediate impact and would encourage anyone with breathing issues to buy!
We bought two of these and find they perform really well. Setting 1 & 2 are silent in operation. The maximum 3 speed does generate background fan noise. The filtration is very effective for dust, smells and hopefully bacteria / viruses. More choice for the colours of the outer sleeve would be useful. We are very happy with ours.
This appliance has been running continuously 24 hours per day, in the lounge for the past few weeks following extensive exterior window frame repairs and painting. The sound does not interfere with watching the television and the residual odour from wood preservatives and high quality exterior and interior paint as well as dust from sanding has been well controlled and permitting habitation!

There are three modes, the first being nearly silent. I will say if you cannot stand light in your room and you put this next to your bed on silent at night you might want to cover up the light, but it isn’t too intrusive.

This has made such a positive difference to my bedroom! It has a small footprint, is very easy to set up and to use and it is remarkably quiet, especially on low setting. I have issues with allergies and like to sleep with the window open and, since I’ve had this little purifier, I’ve not had any issues with hay fever overnight. No more waking up with streaming eyes and nose or blocked sinuses. It has been fabulous. And it is also really great for dealing with aftereffects of farty husbands and kids too…
I expected this air cleaner to be much smaller, something like the tall Alexa devices buts actually huge at almost 17″ tall and this is the version for a small room. Its ideal for a room that’s around 15m2 so like a patio area.
It’s extremely simple to use, you only have 3 buttons on the top. Tap it one for the lowest setting, two for medium and tap three times for high. The 4th tap turns it off. Low setting is really quiet, you can hardly hear it at all. Medium you can hear the air blower and high is pretty noisy
Personally, I find having this air noise is quite relaxing especially when you are going to sleep.
We don’t have allergies so can’t comment on that but we do have a small dog and sometimes when we get home our living room smells a little doggy. Using this air cleaner quickly removes this odour leaving the room smelling clean and fresh again.
It is really big but we’ve got used to it sitting in the corner and it actually has a nice modern design. You can get external covers to change the colour of the purifier to match dcor.
Its recommended that you change the filter every 6 months and these are currently 25 on Amazon. Filter changing is pretty standard with air purifiers.

This has been used to provide clean air and minimise the effects pollen causing hay fever, and it works.
The unit itself is quite sizeable, not a huge commercial air purification unit, but not a little bedside product either.
The big plus about this, and what gets it five stars is that it is very quiet in use. As such, it is particularly suitable for use in bedrooms, and in rooms where small children are sleeping.
There has been a noticeable reduction in hayfever symptoms when this has been used, a good way of being able to ensure fresh air indoors without causing problems for those with allergies.
A washable filter makes this very good value, there are no expensive parts to continually replace.

This is not too tall (18″ or so) and quite inconspicuous. There is a low hum on the first two settings, with a more powerful noise on the third. Still not too loud, but I may not have it on full during the night.
We have a dog (a wee black x-breed)so thought this may be a good idea. After a week or two, I’m not too sure if it’s working as it should, but . . .
The room(s) is/are cooler after this has been running for a while, and the overall feeling of the air is cleaner. Whether this is psychosomatic or is actually the case, I’m not sure; but it appears to be doing what it should.
We’ll keep it going and see if the overall air quality is better after a few more weeks/months. After a few days/weeks, it seems to be quite good.
The design struck me as too vividly coloured when it first arrived, but it has since grown on us both, sitting in the hearth thf simple top center button gives off its soft glow as it near silently filters the whole room.
We have it pulsing a flow of filtered air through the open plan kitchen, diner and conservatory space, and it works fab.
It’s so quiet as you will hold you hand over the top to feel the air going past, this silence comes from the large diameter fan and explains its size.
I’d be lost with out this now, my general hat fever symptoms are much reduced when I run it in my office, and it lets me air that room out, then set this pumping away pollen and filtering before I sit down to a days work from home.
I already have a bigger air purifier (Blueair Classic 205) in my Livingroom and I’m really happy with it. But for a smaller room or for the bedroom the Blue Pure 411 air purifier is a lot more convenient. I’s smaller and quieter but has less features than the Classic 205. Works well in our 4m x 4m room with a tiny window. Due to the size of the room it always gets a little bit smelly and humid after each night due to the swat and the per odour was also a problem due to our dog sleeps in the same room with us. With this Air purifier we have reduced the odour and mould problem.
The Air Purifier arrived in a bigish box, I was scarred for a second when I’ve seen it first but obviously the actual purifier was a lot smaller than the box, because it was secured all around with polystyrene. It’s only 17″ tall and with 8″ diameter. The setup is really simple just need to plug into the socket and turn it on. I like the design of this gadget, it’s minimalistic, simple but stylish suits well in my modern style house. I’ve got the blue version but also available with red or fabric pre-filter. I love that the air enters in the unit from all sides (360 air intake) trough the fabric pre filter first than goes through the activated carbon filter and enters in the unit. Then the clean air moved upwards by a fan and pushed out of the top of the unit. Because its small it has a great energy efficiency, portable and lightweight. It only featured with a single button on the top with a flashing LED light which will indicate when it’s time to change the filter. There are a few thinks which I don’t like it such like this unit doesn’t have a metal grill between the fabric and the filter so it makes the unit a little bit flimsy and easy to harming the filter. The other negative side is that the unit doesn’t come with a HEPA filter just with a particle filter. Also, this unit has no WIFI or smart feature like the Blueair Classic 205 which so it can’t be controlled with an app or with Amazon Alexa.
The Particle is good for capture and removes allergens, smoke, pet odour, mould spores, & germs and also removes allergens. To extend the life of this filter I open it once a week and vacuum off the filter which turns grey with dust/filtered items and pet hair
The big equation of this days now is that this Air purifier with Particle filter will protect us from COVID? Hmmm, I don’t think so, maybe if it would be fitted with HEPA filter… All I found about is that Blueair air purifiers have been third-party tested for the removal of the most common viruses and bacteria with a clearance rate of over 99.99%. The tests included H1N1 influenza, staphylococcus aureus, E coli and aspergillus. Helps or not I believe it’s still better than nothing.
Highly recommend in smaller rooms up to 15-17 15m, especially if you smoke, have asthma, allergies, pets or for any other reason.
This was quite larger than I expected if I am to be honest as I thought it would be half the size it is but regardless, the important thing is how it performs. I set it up – just plug it in and set the fan speed – in our lounge before we popped out for a walk. I thought if we take our time; say just over an hour or two there may be a difference in the air quality once back. I had set it on position two – or midway as there are three positions for the fan speed. As it was quite a warm day as well, the cooling air – or slight breeze – was noticeable on getting back but the main reason for using this is for cleaning the air and to that end I would say it does actually work in that respect. The good bit is the fan is not all that noisy in use but the actual ‘pressure’ type switch – there is only the one control – is sometimes quite hard to press or touch to get it to activate – as you know when its working as the segments of the switch are illuminated. These segments are not really obtrusive during the evening as one might think as they just give off a gentle glow. The filter according to the comprehensive instructions should last six months but there is an inbuilt indicator to give a warning of when this is due. Priced around the 130 mark (as reviewed early July 2020) it’s quite a good price for what it does. Overall a device that delivers the goods but due to the switch as outlined above, I am giving it four stars.
In this setting I don’t mind the vivid blue colour … there are other options and you can get alternatives on the Blueair website for 9.
It is very simple to use, whisper quiet and the filter should last a good 6 months. Again, from the website, a new filter is 23 which is reasonable.
The room certainly seems a little fresher and I have noticed less pollen related stingy eyes and sneezing.
This is a coolly modern looking, attractively designed, compact air filter that works smoothly and quietly, even on its highest speed. Its quietness is, I guess, owing to a high quality fan inside an extremely clever design whereby the cylindrical wall – much like our excellent Sebo Felix vacuum cleaner – acts as a large surface area filter. Its both clever and functional. All good! Thank you Amazon.
It is a nice size and shape, and was very easy to set up, it has an outside fabric material filter which is very blue (I would much prefer it was grey/white or even black as the blue really stands out) this can be put through the wash on gentle, then inside is a main filter which lasts for 6 months- the lights on top will turn red when it is time to replace this, plus a top lid which has one main button in the middle which you press to click through low/medium/high/off. When it is on low it is pretty silent, medium is like a white noise and high we find quite noisy, too noisy for when we are sat having a cup of tea and a chat but fine for when the door is shut.
I find that the purifier definitely takes some smoke and smell out of the air, not totally but it makes the room much more pleasant to sit in.
Price wise i cannot comment as there isn’t a price yet on this and I would be interested to see how much replacement filters are. At the moment I would purchase again, I would like to have one in the kitchen for cooking smells and it can also be used to get rid of dust, pollen and bacteria out of the air.
This is a fantastic product how it works. My kitchen has to be shut up at night due to mischievous dogs and cats and in heated temperatures at night when opened up in the morning can sometimes have a lingering smell due to being a small space and containing a bin. To test it’s effectiveness out I placed it on one of the counters and left it running overnight. This involved plugging it in and pressing the one and only button on the top until I was at the required speed highlighted by lights coming on or off, simple. Come morning a slight smell was still there but much more muted. In terms of aesthetics it isn’t the nicest looking thing to have potentially sitting on the side in your living space. It’s relatively large and the blue fabric casing really makes it stand out. Even having it in black or even grey wouldn’t have drawn the eye to it quite so much. It’s easy to dismantle for filter changes and cleaning of the outer fabric filter. For the cost of this, around the 120/130 mark, it is worth the money
I’ve set the air purifier / filter up in my bedroom, which has been really hot recently during a heatwave. After leaving it on for a couple of hours, you can really tell the difference. The fan blows cold air, so has helped cool the room down and, in addition, it definitely smells cleaner and fresher. I’m hoping this will also help reduce the effects of hayfever too.
Operation is so simple; just plug it in and choose your speed setting. Even on the highest setting, the sound is quiet enough to not bother you.
The book states that the filter should last 6 months. There’s also an indicator inside to show when it needs replacing.
I can definitely recommend this so far. Should anything change after a few weeks / months of use, I’ll update my review accordingly.
Love this air purifier. It’s super light weight and easy to move and a sleek design that doesn’t look out of place in any of my rooms in my house and very easy to move around
It’s so easy to use and you literally only have to tap the top to turn it on and change between the three power settings.
It’s a quiet operator so not as noisy as the one I have in my bedroom that sounds like a jet engine. Even when it’s on its highest setting it’s hardly noticeable and does not cause any noise that would distract or irritate.
I will be swapping this one with the one I already have in my bedroom so as to get a good nights sleep. Also helps with my asthma. Nice fresh clean air.
The purifier is suitable for rooms up to 15 sq. metres and gas 3 speed settings. You get an red light visual notification when the filter is due for changing.
The purifier is quite surprisingly lightweight given It’s size.
Although not cheap I think it’s worth every penny
and I’d definitely recommend!!
