A good little head torch, battery life generally last me about two weeks but I only use it for 10mind a day in the yard whilst loading my lorry but I’d assume you get a day out of it the motion detection is a bit of a gimmick but works none the less. All round a good little torch that does the job.

Compared to previous LED torches that I have had, this is superior in comfort, weight and brightness. I have used this headtorch fairly regularly over the past few weeks for taking the dog for evening walks, working on the car, putting bins out etc etc and it is still on its first charge – which bodes well.
My only criticism is that, in practice, the motion sensor is nothing more than a novelty. Unless your hands are filthy, I can’t see any huge advantage in having a motion sensor on an item which, by its wearable nature, is always in motion!! It’s more of an inconvenience because when in relatively close proximity to something that you are looking at, if the thing you’re looking at (or your head!) moves, it will switch off! A couple of examples of when I’ve found this frustrating as the torch has switched off: when moving my head working on a car (when hands are dirty and it may actually have been of use!) and putting recycling bins out (lifting bin lid). Anyhow, you can just use the switch on the other side which bypasses the motion sensor but it will still catch you out on occasion when you are either unfamiliar with the switch position or just forget.
Same goes for the flashing red light, which you have to cycle through to switch the headtorch off (unless the light has been on for a while). There’s probably 1% of headtorch users who will use this function – for the rest it’s just a nuisance; however, unlike the motion sensor, a lot of headtorches have this red light function.

No the brightest head torch, but also very afffordable. Has a broad beam which can be tilted so it is pointing down which makes it easier to see where you are going. Think I will probably only use the main white light. Was comfortable to wear and easy to charge.

When lit, do not point the lamp at your eye! It’s very bright.

It gives an excellent wide vision and I like the fact that it’s rechargeable. Only downside is that the recharging takes a few hours using my laptop. A mains charger would be more convenient. Apart from this, it’s excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.
