So far so good, easy to setup and installed on my own. Alerts my phone when triggered and shows a thumbnail screenshot. Saves video to SD card. Easy to remotely adjust the camera angle.
Good solution to be able to put a solar panel CCTV WiFi camera up where there is no electricity for peace of mind.
Very easy to install and set up. All screws supplied along with wall plugs and 2 spare “plastic” screws that attach it to the wall bracket which is very handy. Picture quality excellent and with the 355 degree rotation it’s easy to get the perfect view. I have the solar panel charger but haven’t installed it yet so can’t comment on that. Would recommend getting a 128gb Micro SD CARD as all your videos can be stored on that without any subscription. App very easy to navigate. Very happy with my purchase!

Excellent movement detection and with the solar charger so easy to install. I have connected it to a sim based router wifi which is powered by a UPS power pack so not even dependent on cable based wifi or mains electricity. Delivery next day, price good – can’t fault anything.
The camera is really good and the customer service is even better . Rectified a small problem instantly and I would highly recommend this camera due to its excellent capability as well as the after sales excellent service
I have been really impressed with this product, especially the humanoid detection, which can be turned off if required.
Customer service also excellent with any queries answered quickly and with comprehensive instructions, ( I wanted to turnoff humanoid detection so vehicles were detected).

I was sceptical of a fully wireless camera, I was wrong to be, it works perfectly, picture quality both day and night is fantastic, and the solar panel keeps the battery charged to 100%. There is even audio instructions on setting the camera up, so nice and easy. It even tells you whether the location and signal strength is good enough. I had to get a WiFi extender, but now perfect. Nice quality feel to the camera.

I liked the item and purchased it because of the many features it can perform. The camera was set up very quickly onto my mobile…no problems. The picture quality, video and pictures are excellent, both night and day. If needed the camera can be set personally for times of operation, and any incidents recorded within that time frame. In addition it may be in sleeping mode but instantly awakes upon any activation.
Purchased more so for security of our home 360 degree Pan Tilt and Zoom. To affix camera and solar panel to house was literally simple. It took me just over 15 minutes to drill into brick, fit brackets, affix camera and solar panel. Fantastic results. A product I can honestly and genuinely recommend to any intending purchaser. I bought this product because it ticked all my boxes. It is wireless, has a chargeable battery with large capacity and topped up with the solar panel. It is easy to install and add to the CloudEdge app. The app is user friendly and gives me control on my mobile from any location. In my opinion It is a reasonably priced product with great features. I have just had installed and so far it has been good.

Tested device first, prior to powering with solar panel, there is the option of charging without the solar panel, so if that fails, can still be charged.
Well firstly the reviews I read about this camera made me buy it , but having put up and I do have a strong Wi-Fi signal I was very disappointed so it went back , night vision just goes black until I move where there was some light the focus comes back not good , day time was ok but imagine quality still not that good , I have a older camera still up and working and picture quality will beat this one hands down , I’ve now ordered another if I get no joy I will just get on with one I have ..
After having the camera for a month now, its really good. Battery life hasn’t dropped below 80% at the front of my house ( I also have one in the rear garden which is always 100% charged). Even in our great British weather! (Cloudy). High vis vest seem to be a problem for picking up motion, postman and Amazon deliveries. Make sure to buy a sd card. Really pleased with the night and day vision. You can adjust the pir which is a black ball above the lens and adjust the motion sensor, the higher you go the more wildlife you will pick up.
Having experienced a few teething problems with a new product and bringing this to customer services attention I am happy to say a very professional “Hilary” from the customer service team dealt with the problem and done everything in her power to rectify this

I will need to install WiFi signal booster as again my camera location presently prevents a strong signal but camera location is crucial for me. Camera picks up motion during the day and records successfully. So far so good.

Received my camera very quickly and after charging it over night I had it installed and up and running in 30 minutes.
Easy to install and the app CloudEdge is for me easy to use and straight forward.
It’ll take a day or two to set the motion detection to a suitable level but so far so good.

I have tried many cctv cameras but all require a lot of work with the wiring. This camera is an amazing wireless camera, the solar panel is attached and that is all that is required to hang up with the camera.

The solar panel keeps the battery topped up and is an added bonus so no need to drill a hole through the wall to keep it powered up. Camera is easily removed if you do want to charge it with the USB cable.
Camera angle can be adjusted by the app and other areas controlled including speaking out of the camera. Note that you need an SD card to record or you can purchase cloud based; recommend using 128gb SD card so you can use high definition as opposed to standard to give a better picture quality.

Once you have overcome the installation it works great. All I did was put a Devolo power line extender into a socket conveniently placed just inside the wall where I fitted the camera on the outside.

It’s installed low to the ground, with sensitivity turned up to 10 in order to capture small creatures. Physical installation was easy and took no more than half an hour. Setting it up was a little fiddly, as all wireless devices can be – it didn’t want to connect at first, but the camera itself wasn’t the problem – I reset my router and had no problems after that. The solar panel is keeping the battery fully charged, but if you do need to mains charge, it’s very easy to remove the camera from the wall mount and bring it indoors to charge with a normal USB mains charger. The CloudEdge app is very easy to use, and you can use it to adjust camera pan and tilt without going outside to manually adjust the camera. All in all, very pleased with it.

I had to secure my camera to wood, then glue the wood onto my sandstone walls and use screws into the concrete sides to fully secure.
Great I thought, now set the software up.
First tip, do this before securing to the wall at 10ft.
Second tip, take a photo of the Serial Number under the camera if problems.
Now, I bought extenders incase the WiFi wasn’t great. The plug is 5ft inside my home, so right beside the item.
First week, great.
Second week, nightmare.
Kept saying offline. My WiFi was fine, had no drop outs or problems.
Customer service said, send serial number. Mmmm.
I don’t have ladders as had to get some from a friend who lives miles away.
And they said it needs reset as that’s the only way I can sort it.
Iv had to buy ladders just because of the camera.
Software is basic
There is also no patrol mode, where the camera moves around when it sees motion.
Quality of the camera and hardware is really good. Sturdy. Clear view of zone.
So just above front door frame is advised, to the left or right, whichever is better as once again, it doesn’t patrol so won’t move although does give good pictures.
If you have ladders, want it to point in certain direction, don’t want to drill into brick, have good WiFi, great this is for you.
Oh and yes, I have bought the cloud service. Be patient, check the camera, the sd card and that it’s where you want it to be before purchasing the cloud service.

Looks and feels like quality. Very easy to fix to building and then connect to my phone. Picture very clear during day but poor at night. Would be improved by night vision technology and a zoom ability.
I’ve worked with CCTV for over 10 years and am astonished by the quality of this camera’s picture, especially considering the price. It is completely wireless and works with Bluetooth. Possible to be integrated with smart doorbells.
Both daytime and nighttime picture are excellent. The IR lighting is pretty evenly spread, but does white out a bit if it’s reflecting off something nearby, but again at the price I can’t really knock it. Loved the motion detector feature as well. Worth spending money on it.
Looks and feels like quality. Very easy to fix to building and then connect to my phone. Picture very clear during day but poor at night. Would be improved by night vision technology and a zoom ability.

We have three other wireless fixed cameras from Boifun, which are rechargeable via usb cable, they are brilliant but we wanted one to put at height (on the apex of our roof). It would be out of reach for a usb cable so this solar option is ideal as the source of power. Having the option to pan, tilt and zoom is a big plus.
PLEASE NOTE: A Micro SD card is NOT included and will be needed to store footage. I would advise choosing the HD (high definition) option for recording so would therefore highly recommend using a 128Gb Micro SD card (the maximum capacity for this camera). I’ve added some photos to show the difference between standard and high definition hopefully you can see the upgrade in picture is definitely worth it!

Boifun recommend the camera is positioned between 6.5ft to 8.2ft high. Installation is straightforward and the 10 ft of cable to attach the solar panel gives flexibility to position it in a maximum area of light. The solar panel itself is 12 x 17cm so more discreet than I was expecting which is a bonus. Overall am so impressed with this camera!!

I really like the speaker option on this camera as it acts as a microphone, so you can speak to anyone that appears on your property (invited or not!).
Fixing the camera is really easy too. You receive the mounting bracket for the camera, which can be mounted on to any flat surface. There is raw plugs if you need to go in to brick work. As the instructions state, it is best to have the camera up a minimum of 3 metres to get the best angle, but also to deter anyone from trying to remove it. 4 screws later and the camera is in place. You can then use the APP to adjust the angle you desire.
The picture is crystal clear (you can select either SD or HD – I chose HD for the clearness). It’s worth nothing you do not receive a SD card with the camera, so bear this in mind and try and purchase a card at the same time -you’ll need a micro SD card and it will take up to 128mb in memory.

Great camera, easy to put up 10 minute job, I had a fixed camera before but this is loads better, gives you more ground to cover as got a decent size garden and this covers everything and can zoom in when needed.it still as battery you can charge but having solar power you can put it higher as you don’t have to worry about taking it down. So far so good, easy to setup and installed on my own. Alerts my phone when triggered and shows a thumbnail screenshot. Saves video to SD card. Easy to remotely adjust the camera angle.
Good solution to be able to put a solar panel CCTV WiFi camera up where there is no electricity for peace of mind.
Very easy to install and set up. All screws supplied along with wall plugs and 2 spare “plastic” screws that attach it to the wall bracket which is very handy. Picture quality excellent and with the 355 degree rotation it’s easy to get the perfect view. I have the solar panel charger but haven’t installed it yet so can’t comment on that. Would recommend getting a 128gb Micro SD CARD as all your videos can be stored on that without any subscription. App very easy to navigate. Very happy with my purchase!

Overall excellent. Had these running for over a year and keep buying more and recommending to friends. Easy to install, very durable outdoors, user friendly, they work. Obviously 4k would be better than 2k but for the price and functionality overall excellent value
Excellent movement detection and with the solar charger so easy to install. I have connected it to a sim based router wifi which is powered by a UPS power pack so not even dependent on cable based wifi or mains electricity. Delivery next day, price good – can’t fault anything.

I have been really impressed with this product, especially the humanoid detection, which can be turned off if required.
Customer service also excellent with any queries answered quickly and with comprehensive instructions, ( I wanted to turnoff humanoid detection so vehicles were detected).

I was sceptical of a fully wireless camera, I was wrong to be, it works perfectly, picture quality both day and night is fantastic, and the solar panel keeps the battery charged to 100%. There is even audio instructions on setting the camera up, so nice and easy. It even tells you whether the location and signal strength is good enough. I had to get a WiFi extender, but now perfect. Nice quality feel to the camera.

It is the second Boifun’s product in my home. Easy installation. Smart design on the wall mount and the camera body. The solar board efficiently charge to the battery. Simple steps to add device and share to others at the ‘CloudEdge’ APP. Night vision is clear providing great picture quality. Adjustable motion detection flexible fit for your need. I will consider to choose Boifun product in the future. Tips – don’t install the camera too close to the exterior wall light. The picture quality will be affected when the light is on.

I liked the item and purchased it because of the many features it can perform. The camera was set up very quickly onto my mobile…no problems. The picture quality, video and pictures are excellent, both night and day. If needed the camera can be set personally for times of operation, and any incidents recorded within that time frame. In addition it may be in sleeping mode but instantly awakes upon any activation.
Purchased more so for security of our home 360 degree Pan Tilt and Zoom. To affix camera and solar panel to house was literally simple. It took me just over 15 minutes to drill into brick, fit brackets, affix camera and solar panel. Fantastic results. A product I can honestly and genuinely recommend to any intending purchaser. The camera itself looks high speck, no one could guess it’s priced so reasonable for the work it does. Picture quality just amazing including night vision. The motion detection works great and immediately informed via the app. It doesn’t come with a memory card though. Overall great product.
I bought this product because it ticked all my boxes. It is wireless, has a chargeable battery with large capacity and topped up with the solar panel. It is easy to install and add to the CloudEdge app. The app is user friendly and gives me control on my mobile from any location. In my opinion It is a reasonably priced product with great features. I have just had installed and so far it has been good.

Tested device first, prior to powering with solar panel, there is the option of charging without the solar panel, so if that fails, can still be charged.

Well firstly the reviews I read about this camera made me buy it , but having put up and I do have a strong Wi-Fi signal I was very disappointed so it went back , night vision just goes black until I move where there was some light the focus comes back not good , day time was ok but imagine quality still not that good , I have a older camera still up and working and picture quality will beat this one hands down , I’ve now ordered another if I get no joy I will just get on with one I have ..
After having the camera for a month now, its really good. Battery life hasn’t dropped below 80% at the front of my house ( I also have one in the rear garden which is always 100% charged). Even in our great British weather! (Cloudy). High vis vest seem to be a problem for picking up motion, postman and Amazon deliveries. Make sure to buy a sd card. Really pleased with the night and day vision. You can adjust the pir which is a black ball above the lens and adjust the motion sensor, the higher you go the more wildlife you will pick up.
Having experienced a few teething problems with a new product and bringing this to customer services attention I am happy to say a very professional “Hilary” from the customer service team dealt with the problem and done everything in her power to rectify this

Nice compact camera. Day vision is good so is the solar panel, no sign of battery depleting yet even during the winter months. Night vision could be better but this is due to my poor camera location. I will need to install WiFi signal booster as again my camera location presently prevents a strong signal but camera location is crucial for me. Camera picks up motion during the day and records successfully. So far so good.

I bought this to use remotely on my boat. It was easy to install. I was a little worried about the solar panel’s ability to keep it charged, as it’s winter, but so far so good. I have tried many cctv cameras but all require a lot of work with the wiring. This camera is an amazing wireless camera, the solar panel is attached and that is all that is required to hang up with the camera.

Great little camera. I live in a rural area so I bought it to capture video and screenshots of nighttime wildlife. It’s installed low to the ground, with sensitivity turned up to 10 in order to capture small creatures. Physical installation was easy and took no more than half an hour. Setting it up was a little fiddly, as all wireless devices can be – it didn’t want to connect at first, but the camera itself wasn’t the problem – I reset my router and had no problems after that. The solar panel is keeping the battery fully charged, but if you do need to mains charge, it’s very easy to remove the camera from the wall mount and bring it indoors to charge with a normal USB mains charger. The CloudEdge app is very easy to use, and you can use it to adjust camera pan and tilt without going outside to manually adjust the camera. All in all, very pleased with it.
Great little camera. I live in a rural area so I bought it to capture video and screenshots of nighttime wildlife. It’s installed low to the ground, with sensitivity turned up to 10 in order to capture small creatures. Physical installation was easy and took no more than half an hour. Setting it up was a little fiddly, as all wireless devices can be – it didn’t want to connect at first, but the camera itself wasn’t the problem – I reset my router and had no problems after that. I wasn’t expecting much from this camera at this price point but I must say I’m very impressed. The best and only way I’d say to make the most of this camera is to get an SD card also to fit in the camera.

Because it was meant to be easy to install, great I thought, no. Although I got round things it was still not as easy as I assumed.
I had to secure my camera to wood, then glue the wood onto my sandstone walls and use screws into the concrete sides to fully secure.
Great I thought, now set the software up.
First tip, do this before securing to the wall at 10ft.
Second tip, take a photo of the Serial Number under the camera if problems.
Now, I bought extenders incase the WiFi wasn’t great. The plug is 5ft inside my home, so right beside the item.
First week, great.
Second week, nightmare.
Kept saying offline. My WiFi was fine, had no drop outs or problems.
Customer service said, send serial number. Mmmm.
I don’t have ladders as had to get some from a friend who lives miles away.
And they said it needs reset as that’s the only way I can sort it.
Iv had to buy ladders just because of the camera.
Software is basic
There is also no patrol mode, where the camera moves around when it sees motion.
Quality of the camera and hardware is really good. Sturdy. Clear view of zone.
So just above front door frame is advised, to the left or right, whichever is better as once again, it doesn’t patrol so won’t move although does give good pictures.
If you have ladders, want it to point in certain direction, don’t want to drill into brick, have good WiFi, great this is for you.
Oh and yes, I have bought the cloud service. Be patient, check the camera, the sd card and that it’s where you want it to be before purchasing the cloud service.

Bought this camera to supplement our wired ones where we had an odd blank spot, it is so clear day and night. The zoom is particularly impressive. It is easy to set up. Really impressed.

I’ve worked with CCTV for over 10 years and am astonished by the quality of this camera’s picture, especially considering the price. It is completely wireless and works with Bluetooth. Possible to be integrated with smart doorbells.
Both daytime and nighttime picture are excellent. The IR lighting is pretty evenly spread, but does white out a bit if it’s reflecting off something nearby, but again at the price I can’t really knock it. Loved the motion detector feature as well. Worth spending money on it.

Since I already have one of Boifun doorbell which has served me well, I knew that this camera would not disappoint me and with my time with it was proven right. The camera is very useful as it has the ability to swivel from one angle to the other just by using your app. The battery is solar powered meaning it will constantly recharged itself without the need to manually charge it. The camera itself looks robust The camera is simple to install, with full easy instructions. Its app called cloud edge is so quick and easy to use. Whether it is day or night time the picture is crystal clear . The motion detection is very good. You receive instant notification from the apps on your chosen device. This can be recorded on icloud or on SD card. I am really pleased with this BOIFUN camera, and would highly recommend this to anyone .

The solar panel itself is 12 x 17cm so more discreet than I was expecting which is a bonus. Overall am so impressed with this camera!!

The solar panel comes with 3 metres of cable, so you can position it away from the camera where it’ll have the sunlight the most (you’ll be able to see from my photo I’ve positioned this approx two metres away from the camera). I would suggest finding somewhere where you can hide the cable as it looks better on the eye).
The camera is simple to install, the instructions are spot on and if you do come across any difficulties there is a email address you can contact. You simple download the ‘Cloudedge’ APP in iOS (or playstore), turn the camera on, reset it and add the device to the APP. Position near to your phone and router and follow the simple instructions to pair the phone. Once it is paired you can play around with the motion detection, the camera angle and volume. I really like the speaker option on this camera as it acts as a microphone, so you can speak to anyone that appears on your property (invited or not!).
Fixing the camera is really easy too. You receive the mounting bracket for the camera, which can be mounted on to any flat surface. There is raw plugs if you need to go in to brick work. As the instructions state, it is best to have the camera up a minimum of 3 metres to get the best angle, but also to deter anyone from trying to remove it. 4 screws later and the camera is in place. You can then use the APP to adjust the angle you desire.
The picture is crystal clear (you can select either SD or HD – I chose HD for the clearness). It’s worth nothing you do not receive a SD card with the camera, so bear this in mind and try and purchase a card at the same time -you’ll need a micro SD card and it will take up to 128mb in memory.

Great camera, easy to put up 10 minute job, I had a fixed camera before but this is loads better, gives you more ground to cover as got a decent size garden and this covers everything and can zoom in when needed.it still as battery you can charge but having solar power you can put it higher as you don’t have to worry about taking it down. The pictures great. Would recommend to family 100%
