powerful enough, great value.
It tackled 1m tall thick grass and weeds without problems.
However, the cutting cord which came with it is thin and breaks easily if it hits the pavement – you need to purchase a reel of thicker/stronger stuff.
Pulling cutting cord out is easy enough.
Arrived promptly, very easy to assemble and straightforward to use. The cutting cord is easy to lengthen by clicking, it does seem to break off quite often so will try different when I buy replacement. Very happy for the price.
Warning the front metal guard needs to be extended out and clicked into place otherwise the wire breaks to short. Had initial problems with self feeding spool, but rewound wire and made sure front guard is extended, and all good

Lovely lightweight Strimmer and easy to assemble.
Unfortunately the strimmer cord that is supplied is totally not fit for purpose and crap. Breaks so easy so it’s down to B&Q for more substantial plastic strim cord.

I’ve used this twice so far and think it’s great for the price and got the job done. Wasn’t so hard to assemble either. You just have to know to trim the line abit once your ready to roll.
Awesome piece of ki
Love this strimmer and its sooo cheap aswell. It can hack through a soddin forest! “not literal” but if ya garden was like mine you could start calling it that, the plants and grass was taller than a NBA player. So it badly needed doing and this strimmer was certainly upto the task. It powerd through it with ease like a soddin hot knife through butter . I’m really happy with my purchase and I think many people will be aswell
Good Strimme
This was so simple to put together. Didn’t even need the instructions. The shield is good and you need to screw it into place to secure it. The only negatives was that the lead is very short so had to purchase an extension lead and I found it a bit heavy and kept having to stop briefly. My garden isn’t the biggest but still struggled a bit. Also the strimmer cord kept snapping so will need to purchase a stronger one. I’m still happy with it despite these issues and a good price.

1st strimmer I’ve bought, wasn’t sure what to look out for so took a chance with this. For 30 I can’t fault it, fulfils the purpose of what I purchased it for. I only wish the power cable could have been a little longer.

Up and running in a jiffy!
The only thing that put me off was the cheap line it is supplied with. It snapped every minute or less, depending in where it was positioned. The strimmer itself is fantastic, powerful, relatively quiet in use, lightweight with easy to operate controls.
It is NOT self feeding, so you have to manually adjust the wire once it is worn down, but this is better in my view, primarily because those self-feeding one’s tend to waste line.
Overall, an excellent strimmer that is both well built and will do the job intended and then some.

This is a good little strimmer, very, very light I can’t hold the larger bulky ones with my arthritic wrists but this is really light but a bit fiddly to put together.
Really good strimmer, however wire got caught around motor and was difficult for a newbie to get out. Had to dismantle. Otherwise really good strimmer for a first attempt.
Strim to trim
Awesome product , not big and bulky like the usually strimmer , I bought this for edges around the fence posts and cracks in the path , it’s super light. Compact , folds up to store so that’s a bonus .

Sturdy strimmer, well built and feels good in you hands. Issue’s start with, poor instructions for assembly. Edging guide does not lock in position causing the strimmer wire to break. Because it is not automatic feed, I had to strip the strimmer spool and refeed the wire

Good one and works very welll .. got a clean backyard after a while
Only have a small grass area and this is ideal. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Only issue I’ve had is that the ‘self feeding’ line has broken but its an easy fix to get it working again in seconds.
The machine is ok, but the line supplied breaks every five seconds, once this is changed for a new one it works fine. I should have noticed it only has one reel whereas my previous machine had two. Also the feed is manual, you have to push the button on the reel casing, rather than an automatic feed.

Very good price , that’s what catches your eye and it’s Bosh. Very easy to assemble , there isn’t much to do just one use of a screw driver , then your plugging in are ready to go , striming wire and power cord about 5M I think off the top of my head, so you will need an extension if you don’t have a postage stamp sized garden .

Does a great job for what I need. Only downside is that even though I’ve not got a very big garden I still need to use an extension lead as the lead that comes with the trimmer is quite short.

For what it is and for my intentions it’s absolutely fantastic, the 10 knocked off for prime day helped as well. Lightweight, easy to put together ( less than 10mins) and certainly powerful enough for my garden ( 25 square metre ) can’t fault it.

Cheap / Cheerful - does the job - cable a bit sho
Easy to assemble. The bosch strummer reel is easy to use, better than the plastic prongs which snap at the slightest twig.
Only downside is the power lead is a little short. Still plenty.

Bought this product despite the fact the majority of people were moaning about the cord being easy to snap when you clip something like brick or anything hard.
So I simply read the reviews, clocked that people had been using 3mm wire, and simply drilling out the spool whole to be able to take the 3mm wire and bobs your uncle, it’s a completely different beast.
I believe the spool hole is 2.5mm so you could avoid drilling and just get 2.5mm wire and replace the 1.6mm the item comes with, but for me 3mm is the sweet spot.
The take home message is to read the reviews and don’t just be a divvy and say something is rubbish because you can’t be bothered to adapt it and save about 60 on an improved model

Good working conditio
I saw many negative comments about this product, but with me its working well. I used only once but it can cut all grass types.
Was sceptical after reading reviews but it’s a good buy
Was very sceptical after reading many bad reviews but I found it works well. I have a large back garden and a good sized front garden and it cut the grass with ease. Wire did snap with thick weeds and brambles but that’s expected with any strimmer. Glad I purchased, well worth the money.
Does the job well!
Pretty lightweight and easy to use, easy to extend the cable further after some cutting. My grass is if the thick blade type, grew almost 2ft high, so I gave two or three passes with this and it worked perfectly well! Comes in really compact storage, fits in my tool bench outside.
