Good saw
Nice powerful bit of kit, used it to cut the hole in for a kitchen sink in a normal 2 inch work surface and it did it no problem at all. Was putting the saw away after finishing and spotted it was on minimum power. If it can do that on minimum can’t wait to see what full power is like 🙂

Cette petite scie sauteuse est extrmement maniable, grce au sans fil mais aussi par son faible poids. Les accessoires sont bien penss comme le stockage des lames sur le dessus de la semelle. le guidage est trs prcis et permet de faire d’excellentes coupes droites ou chantournes. Elle n’est pas hyper puissante, mais suffit pour toutes les coupes de pin jusqu’ 20 mm. Au del c’est lent et la coupe gondole dans la profondeur, ce que l’on rencontre sur beaucoup de scies sauteuses. Pour les plaque de tle elle fait le job sans broncher, sur coupes droites ou chantournes. Le systme d’aspiration est correct. Un petit conseil pour le SDS qui est parfois capricieux : (bloqu 2 fois en 1 an d’utilisation trs rgulire) : mettre un peu de dgrippant, a vite de se retrouver avec la scie bloque dans le mandrin de serrage.
Un excellent achat, qu’il me parait utile de coupler avec un jeu de lames varies, tant les applications sont nombreuses.
Bref, recommander sans hsiter, on scie presque tout et vraiment bien.

Brillint little Jigsaw , very handy to have around the Allotment or for doing DIY at home, the battery charge lasts for quite a long time.
Dans le cadre du renouvellement progressif de mon ancien outillage main filaire, j’ai opt pour l’achat de matriel Bosch compatible avec une seule et mme batterie : la PBA Lithium-Ion de 18 Volts et 2.5 Ah, qui offre la puissante et l’autonomie qui me convient. Cela m’a permis d’acheter moins de batterie que d’outils main. Je dois reconnatre que j’ai pas mal hsit pour le renouvellement de mon ancienne scie sauteuse filaire, qui fonctionnait encore trs bien. Cependant, ayant pris got l’utilisation d’outil main sans fil, je ne supportais plus de devoir drouler une rallonge lectrique chaque fois que je voulais dcouper un bout de contreplaqu plus de 2 mtres d’une prise de courant. Je me suis donc rsolu investir dans la scie sauteuse correspondant la gamme de produit voulue (sans acheter la batterie) en profitant d’une offre commerciale ponctuelle.
Eh bien, je suis trs satisfait de l’achat de cette scie sauteuse sans fil PST 18 LI, qui me semble bien conue. Lgre l’usage, avec une bonne ergonomie la prise en main et un avantage certain ne pas tre relie un cordon lectrique toujours gnant lors des coupes, cet outil est trs maniable et offre beaucoup de possibilit de travail (exemple, des coupes en biais en inclinant le socle de la scie). Elle est facile utiliser, ce qui est apprciable pour un petit bricoleur comme moi. Grce la puissance de la batterie voque plus haut, la scie a vraiment du mordant et une autonomie apprciable. J’apprcie particulirement la souplesse d’utilisation du variateur de vitesse qui, selon la pression du doigt sur la gchette, permet d’ajuster la vitesse de coupe du plus lent au plus rapide selon la duret et l’paisseur de la matire en prsence. Le contrle de vitesse, associ un guide de coupe plutt bien pens et un petit clairage bienvenu dans les coin sombre, permet de suivre assez prcisment les traages de coupe durant l’avancement de l’outil. J’apprcie galement le systme de changement de lames rapide permettant de travailler simultanment sur plusieurs types de matire sans tre pnaliser par des temps de changement de lame ncessitant un outillage spcifique (mon ancienne machine ncessitait un vissage / dvissage avec cl Allen). Thoriquement, il est crit que cette scie sauteuse a une capacit de coupe de 80 mm dans le bois et de 5 mm dans l’acier, mais j’avoue ne pas avoir test ces extrmes. Quand il y a risque de production de beaucoup de copeaux, je branche la scie mon aspirateur d’atelier, mais pas toujours, car cela me remet un fil la patte . l’aspiration est efficace. La scie dispose d’un petit rangement bien pratique pour y mettre quelques lames de rechange. C’est du bon matriel pour le bricoleur amateur que je suis. Je ne regrette vraiment pas mon achat.

Ja, fr gelegentliche Garten-Holzarbeiten empfehlenswert. Den einen Stern habe ich abgezogen, da ich es bei einem anderen Anbieter etwas, jedoch nur etwas, gnstiger sah. Bei Amazon war die Bestellung einfacher, jedem renne ich dann doch nicht hinterher…
Jedoch wird erst die Zeit zeigen, was das Gert taugt, wie geschrieben, der erste Eindruck ist gut.

Die Akkkusge ist gegenber diesem Modell ein richtiger Fortschritt. Die Sgebltter lassen sich ohne Werkzeug einfach wechseln. Die Sgegeschwindigkeit lsst sich stufenlos ber den Einschaltknopf steuern. Gar kein vergleich zur alten Sge, wo die Geschwindigkeit lediglich ber einen 6-stufigen Regler beeinflusst werden konnte. Fr meine Zwecke genau die richtige Maschine. Besonders vorteilhaft ist, dass ich mit einen Akku Set viele unterschiedliche Maschinen betreiben kann.

Just the job
It works with the Bosch batteries I have for my drill, impact driver and so on. It cuts well, the blades are easy to fit (and easy to come by as they take many other brands of blades). It tracks accurately when using a fence, or freehand. The light is a nice touch. I would have like to see a battery power level like my drill has.

9 minuti sembrano pochi ma vi permettono di tagliare circa 7 metri di legno… io ci ho tagliato truciolato da 2 cm…
Sono dati relativi, perch bisogna considerare l’affilatura della lama, lo spessore che andrete a tagliare e soprattutto, se fate piccoli tagli invece di tagli lunghi un metro probabile che la batteria duri di pi…
Inoltre ha i LED che indicano lo stato della carica della batteria. In definitiva io lo consiglio.

I love it! The old jig saw I had for 10+ years got to the end of it’s life, and this was an excellent replacement. I took it apart as soon as I got it to check out the quality of the parts inside and see if there were any factory flaws to remove them before usage. There were no flaws, all parts are well greased up and I didn’t find any critical weaknesses in the casing that that would require additional strengthening. This is really worth the money.
Arrived in under 36 hours. I have several Bosch Power 4 All tools, so this jigsaw was a no brainer. After using a corded jigsaw for many years, i was sceptical whether it would “Cut the Mustard” against a corded machine. It does……and then some! Typical Bosch build quality, surprisingly quiet, but still very powerful. Very impressed. love Bosch stuff, and this jigsaw didn’t disappoint. Excellent tool. Highly recommended.
I have had it a month now. I find the no key insertion of blades easy and quick but there is a knack to it. I haven’t had any of the reported problems with changing the angle of the cut. Control is excellent and I had no problem cutting through a 40cm oak worktop. I suspect that it is well worth spending money on really good blades. The blades I purchased tended to get a bit wonky as they heated up. This could be user error. ( however we are talking fractions of a millimetre here. Overall I have been very happy with the purchase and see no reason it won’t last me many years.
Missing part!?
The dust cover is missing. I’m very surprised this happened as i know Bosch never makes mistakes like this and I have many Bosch products and also the box had an original Bosch seal on it which was intact. Surely this is nothing but a minor mistake which it’ll be sorted.
Apart from the missing part everything else is absolutely top quality and looks and feels professional.
I know the problem is going to be sorted by Amazon so I’m giving 5/5 stars for delivery and 5/5 for the produc

Wow! I am very surprised at how powerful this jigsaw is. I had a Bosch prior to this, (an older model), and I am extremely pleased at how easy this is to operate and how well it cuts. Goes through hard wood, like a hot knife through butter.
Corded is always a slight issue with any type of power saw but for the price of it, there is no complaints from me. It’s fantastic for any of the household jobs that I purchased this for. Far exceeds my expectations. Wonderful.
I bought this as a warehouse deal originally and the blade wasn’t sitting properly. I decided to send it back and reorder. I’m extremely pleased I did. This is my first jigsaw. I bought the Bosch blades to go with it and I’ve had no trouble cutting through anything I’ve tried. I’m fitting a kitchen and it’s cut the worktop easily and taken shaped notches out of the backs of the cupboards for pipes etc. It’s a great bit of kit.
Best DIY product I ever bough
Best DIY product I ever bought. Saves me so much time cutting wood for small DIY jobs and projects around the house. It is a little noisy but not too much of a problem, nothing that I would not expect. Cuts through sheet materials easily, could not recommend this jigsaw more. Comes with 1 blade in the box. I bought the Bosch T Shank Jigsaw Blade Set, 8 Pieces with it but as yet have only needed to use the supplied blade. Simply excellent.
If you don’t regularly use a compact jigsaw & looking for something simple, then this tool will do the job. It’s sturdy & well built. Accepts all the blades that the next model up would, so what’s there not to like, for the price it was well worth it & would recommend to anyone. Only negative for (but not worth a star down) is that the lead could be a bit longer.

The battery works with my Bosch drill so i might have to add a cordless sander soon.
Great piece of machinery which far exceeds the quality of the high street DIY branded rubbish it replaced. Great price too from Amazon, 10 cheaper than afore said high street DIY store. Blades are easily changed thanks to the SDS system which saves loosening and tightening fiddly screws. The blade fits snugly against the “saddle” which prevents wobble. I wish I’d have used this jigsaw when I cut the hole for the cat flap in our uPCV door and not the one it replaced…..!
The fact that this is cordless is such a help. I have recently started doing my own DIY projects and do these in the garden. As it is cordless I don’t have to faff around with extension cables.
It does not come with a battery, which under normal circumstances would have been a problem but I also purchased a Bosch cordless drill which comes with 2 batteries. You can interchange the batteries for any of the Bosch products in this range. Sorted!

Superb so far. Bought this to replace a dead jigsaw I bought from LIDL around 5 years ago that had held up well, but wasn’t the greatest. Have so far used this to cut some intricate pieces of wood, and a window sized hole in side of my van with ease. The variable speed is easy to regulate and makes things a lot easier and more precise. Comes with a case and is made to the usual Bosch high quality, I expect to have many years of service from this.

Easiest one yet. If your not a beginner you wont find this one challenging being just a ‘2 piece’. Although what does hold you back is having to supply the second piece.
If you are somewhat of a jigsaw expert and have already ordered all is not lost, make sure it is plugged in and turned on for a huge challenge and when finished i have to admit it is as pretty as my ‘1000 piece constable ‘the haywain”.

This is the second one of these that I own and they are very good. Only 4 stars because I think it’s pathetic that the plastic splinter reduction attachment is not included as standard. (They used to be, as did the parallel guide and a general purpose saw blade) The splinter guard can only cost pence but now I’ll have to waste time and energy sourcing one. As a Bosch devotee very disappointed.

Compact and lightweight, and usual satisfying Bosch build quality. Bought this for a specific job; to cut out laminate worktop for sink and hob to go in. No wandering off the line, and using a fine blade ( bought separately, it only comes with one) hardly any breakout from the laminate, which can often be a problem. And less than forty quid, bargain!
Love this jigsaw, just not the most powerful
I’ve had this jigsaw for over a year now and it still goes strong. I’ve probably used it about 10 times in total just for small DIY projects so nothing major. In terms of performance wise, it’s still good. The blade that came with the jigsaw was just a general woodcutting blade that died out pretty quick but they’re simple and easy to replace. The jigsaw itself isn’t the most powerful so I wouldn’t recommend it for a long period of time and it feels like it gets hot quite quick, and the power/speed of the blade isn’t anything to get too excited about but it certainly does the job for small DIY projects. (Example of projects i’ve used it for cutting up 2×2, 2×4 for a fence gate, a couple of boxes, tv unit, nothing major). Good value really too, especially if you’re just a part time DIYer.
I needed to cut some worktop and knew that my old Black and Decker would not be up to the job . I considered hiring a professional jigsaw but at 25 a day I decided to buy one . It’s not a tool I use a lot and I have a skill saw and mitre saw for general cutting needs. I didn’t want to pay a lot and this Bosch model seemed to fit the bill . It performed quite well , although on one cut the blade ran at an angle , fortunately I had enough material to square up the end with the skill saw . After that I only used the jig saw for small cut out jobs . Pay more for good quality blades , it makes the cut easier and cleaner and cutting laminate worktop from underneath there was no chipping.
I have an old black and decker jigsaw. I wanted to upgrade and was reading reviews of this. It was a good price, so ordered one. Quick delivery and I needed to cut out a heart shape from a piece of pine. The pine was 19mm thick and the saw did a lovely job. It was smooth and using it showed me just how much vibration the old one had. The blower works great leaving a nice clear path to follow. The quick blade change works great. I had no problems fitting and removing blade. The variable speed is on the trigger which gives nice control. Also on the side you can change the angle of the blade and on the forward setting the blade cuts the quickest, although you will get more tear out. You can angle the base as normal for angled cuts. As others have said it would be nice for a light but in saying that its not big deal. Great saw I have lots of bosch power tools and with that comes quality…
I love this! My son loves this! It does what it is supposed to do and does it excellently. It only comes with one blade! COME ON BOSCH! Don’t be stingy! If you want to keep your customers happy, in this ‘less is more culture’ then, think! We have spent MORE and we DON’T want LESS! No matter how d*** fashionable it is to say so!!! Manufacturers and corporations and their blasted greed!
However, I digress…………………………sorry…………………………… This is a good, sturdy machine, with a guide to help. Comes in good sturdy case. If you need a jigsaw, I’d definitely give this little baby a go.

I was pleased to add this to my ‘power 4 all’ range of Bosch cordless tools, I find the one battery fits all a real bonus and buying bare tool units helps to cut the cost.
I have had a corded Bosh Jigsaw for several years now and not used it a great deal, but I grabbed the opportunity of a good price to purchase this cordless version and have used it a lot more than my chorded version already. The benefits of this model over my previous one are the addition of the ‘cut control’ plate which guides you to obtain a straighter cut, the light and the freedom of not having to work around a power chord. Before I ordered the unit I was concerned it would be heavy to handle with the battery, but this really is not an issue for me. It struggles a bit cutting through hard knots in wood, but that aside its a good buy and so far would recommend it.

Very pleased with this jigsaw…. I bought the complete range and use them all in the course of my work as a Handyman, so they are getting proper use. The jigsaw is really nice, lightweight and handles very well.

Fantastic bit of kit, really responsive variable speed, bought this as I was putting in an Oak staircase and Oak is a really solid wood to cut (hence the Mary Rose still with us) but this saw made it light work, also has an excellent guide that allows you to follow the straight line marks on the wood, really put this through its paces over the last couple of weeks and it has come up trumps

Bosch PST 700 E Jigsaw
Bosch are highly considered in the building trade and this is a Great power tool. Relatively easy to use [given I’d never used one before]. I bought it to cut a cat flap but then discovered the door was plated with aluminium both sides! Gave up on that idea but I needed to cut some uPVC for window sills. Did the job perfectly. Next job: a wooden unit for the built-in balcony. I know it will be dead easy using this great piece of kit.
Comes complete with a tough box and a single blade. Would recommend you buy a box of assorted blades as you buy this.

I was torn between going to the cheaper cabled jigsaw of this, and after much deliberation, I choose the cordless. I already have batteries and chargers for other Bosh 18 v LiIon tools which helped sway the decision, and coupled with an experience at a DIY shop (they wouldn’t cut the wood with their industrial machine with dust extraction – apparently its dangerous to their health because it was treated wood, but its ok for me to cut it in the car park without extraction!).
Pros – Lightweight, Powerful, Uses 18v LiIon battery, SDS for quick blade change, Light, can cut a decent length on a single charge (I measured and made approx 25 metres of cuts before needing to recharge)
Cons – doesn’t come with a plastic carry case (which is included if you buy the setup with the charger and battery)

i once owned a cheapo jigsaw from woolworths for 10 i think it was, maybe 5 (this was when it was closing down). it was terrible, but it didn’t put me off buying this as a replacement. it is night & day the difference. this is powerful and cutting straight lines are a doddle. i’ve had this quite a while now and everytime it does the job, whether it’s cutting wood, sheet metal or acrylic. it is sturdy and well built. it doesn’t vibrate like mad. it only comes with 1 blade but additional once are not expensive.

Natrlich drngt sich auch die Frage auf, wie lange hlt der Akku, der nicht im Lieferumfang inkludiert ist. Zuerst zum Gewicht, da haben sich die Bosch-Ingenieure nicht lumpen lassen, ja sie wiegt etwas, aber die Ergonomie ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Je nach eingesetztem Blatt knnen ganz grobe aber auch filigranste Schnitte fabriziert werden. Das Gewicht strt in keinster Weise. Sehr gut wurde auch die “Drehzahlregelung” umgesetzt, sie lsst die Leistung optimal kontrollieren. Die Akkulaufzeit ist wahrscheinlich ein Thema, dem sich jeder widmet, der mit dem Gedanken spielt ein batteriebetriebenes Werkzeug anzuschaffen. Der Akku hlt bei 3 cm starken Hartholz, mit dem entsprechenden Sgeblatt gute 30 Minuten. Nicht die Welt, mag sein, fr mich ist es mehr als ausreichend. Ein zweiter Akku ist natrlich empfehlenswert, einfach um die Flexibilitt zu haben, einer ladet einer wird verwendet. Alles in allem ein tolles Produkt.

brilliant jigsaw but didn’t realise you have to buy the battery separate!
Es ist faszinierend wie sanft (geringe Vibrationen) und leicht (Super kraftvoll) die Stichsge zu fhren ist. Der erste Einsatz war schon ein direkter Hrtetest ich habe ca.120qm Laminat verlegt und musste zahlreiche Laminatbretter krzen oder der lange nach schmaler schneider. Das laminat hat eine Strke von 11mm. Der Fhrung wie von meisterhaft und dadurch das kein stberndes Stromkabel im Weg stand konnte ich auch ohne Behinderung an allen Ecken und Kanten ansetzen. Der transparente “Spritzschutz” hat der umherfliegen der Sphen sehr gut verhindert. Was bewundernswert war ist das die Sphen nicht die Sicht verhindert haben und die Beleuchtung sehr gut die angezeichnete Markierung ausgeleuchtet hat. Ich habe mit noch direkt einen Staubsauger Aufsatz gekauft, diesen aber wieder sehr schnell beiseite gelegt, da die Freiheit des Sgens ohne Stromkabel durch den Staubsaugerschlauch behindern wurde.
Der Akku hlt unheimlich lange und ist sehr leistungsstark. In ca. 2 Stunden ist dieser wieder voll aufgeladen gewesen.
Auch Kanthlzer unterschiedlicher Strke konnten ich sehr leicht durchsgen.

Cuts through wood cleanly
Amazing product. Cuts through wood cleanly and evenly and has a great battery life. I bought some long blades and cut through 50mm wood posts. Because it uses a battery that is interchangeable with other tools in the range I can take a spare and get through all the work before I need a recharge. The batteries can also be used on drills, sander, lights, hedge trimmers and a strimmer. The batteries charge pretty quickly too. It seems also to me much safer than a trailing flex whilst cutting.
Cordless tools have come a long way. Don’t buy the bare tool (without battery) if you haven’t got the batteries and charger already. It works out cheaper to buy a full tool initially.

Battery Powered Jigsaw
First battery powered jigsaw have had. Makes life so much easier no cable limiting use. Haven’t used it yet for anything challenging but looks very promising.
Having invested in a couple of the Bosch Drill/Drivers in the Power 4 All range I also got the sander and light, all excellent products and the batteries work well. I already had a mains jigsaw but treated myself to this and am not disappointed. There is plenty of power and the cord free element makes it so much easier to work with.
I now have an extra battery as well and they seem to last really well even with pretty heavy (but home DIY not industrial) usage.
Well done to Bosch, great well made product and range.
For occasional diy use to cut things outside without worrying about cables extensions this a fantastic solution. I used it to cut floor and doors, I know I love it and wouldn’t buy corded power tool if I can have cordless. Fantastic really, and Bosch quality.
Easy to use for an avid DIY'e
I am no expert, I have not used anything more expensive but I am reviewing this and not comparing. I think this jigsaw is nicely balanced, you don’t get any pain using it and it cuts straight if you don’t push it too hard. It cuts angles, but this takes some practice and you can attach it to a hoover which makes it a lot easier to use and keep clean. The splinter guard is a nice idea and the cut guide is quite effective too. There is a little case under the main part which holds some extra blades. I suppose with so many things it depends on what blades you buy for it. If anyone has some ideas about which blades are good for this or maybe good value for money please feel free to post below, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.
I bought this on a deal for my Dad as well and I recommend it, hasn’t let me down yet, but I don’t use it everyday.
Like many others I’d got the matching drill with two batteries from a certain orange DIY store, so the bare tool made sense to me as it was cheaper than the mains version and you can use a jigsaw for all sorts of things not recommended by the instructions (pruning in the garden, quickly knocking stuff down to size to fit in the boot of the car to take to the skip, home self amputation etc.) It’s fair to say it’s not quite as powerful at the mains version’s I’ve used in the past and I’ve not yet had chance to see how long the battery will last in concerted use but as a reasonably powerful and infinately portable device I think I’ll probably get more use out of it than I would the version with a wire. It feels very well made.

A very handy, versatile tool
I bought this as I was preparing to fit laminate flooring to four rooms and wanted a suitable saw for this and other DIY projects. I’m half way through the project and I’m very impressed. The spring-loaded blade-holder is brilliant: laminate is very hard on blades (three to four per room) so changing them quickly and easily is a bonus. The roller-guide to support the blade is another great idea. The plate adjustment for 45 degree angles is easy and precise. The 500 watt motor seems ample for my needs, and the jigsaw is comfortable to hold and use. I also bought a selection box of Bosch blades and several packets of T101BR blades for the laminate. All together, this makes a very handy, versatile tool. I’m very pleased indeed.
Bought this Baretool version as I already have some Bosch 18v Lithium “Power4all” batteries which were included in the drill sets I have (which came with two batteries from the orange DIY chain at just under a hundred pounds for the hammer drill, two batteries and charger).
Positives.
Has plenty of power (at least as much as my Black & Decker mains operated version).
Battery lasts a long time (has so far lasted up to around an hour of use over a days at the allotment).
Recharging the battery only takes 1 hour for 80% charge and approx 2 hours for a full charge.
Has a slot to store a few (of the shorter) blades you can use.
Cost – is no more expensive than a standard jigsaw as long as you already have the Li batteries from other devices.
Negatives
Does not come with a plastic case like the drill set. The cardboard box it came in has now fallen appart so need to buy a plastic case.
Can struggle a little with the longer blades on thicker wood. Nothing particular to this jigsaw, it just has limitations compared to a circular saw.
Overall very happy with both the Power4all 18v system and this jigsaw as part of the system. It is an expensive jigsaw if you just buy this and a battery but if you already have the batteries, I would strongly recommend this product.

I was very happy with the jigsaw but it is a shame that it is not sold with a plastic moulded case as the cardboard box will not last.
When I bought the bare tool I had expected that the battery from my Bosch drill could be used to power it. I should have realised that they are different voltages and so I had to buy a power pack separately although the charger with my drill accommodates both.
This is a great piece of kit – the Lithium battery makes a big difference compared to other NiCad tools I have used and it actually seems more powerful than my old, mains powered Black & Decker. Recommended.
