This is another nice product from Bosch and presented in the familiar Green Plastic Carrying Case.
So much better than my old one purchased in the 1970’s. The Bosch is easier to use with low vibration and pleasant handling which is a familiar thing with Bosch tools. Quick change of blade is a useful factor and a Corded Machine for instant use. I am confident that this will suit my current and future DIY projects.
I own several other Bosch tools so I might be counted as a Fan of the Brand.
Got it for my mum as she loves her DIY, she was happy, but I think she would have been happier if there was an additional space blade attachment.
I bought this to replace my old jigsaw.
I don’t do much diy, but I do need a jigsaw from time to time and this fits the bill. It’s easy to set up and use although I did buy the splinter guard and guide accessories in addition. I also bought some additional blades.
The speed control is very good allowing a slow start, increasing speed as you get comfortable with the job.
I’m satisfied that this item will do what I need it to. The case is durable and handy for keeping the saw, the extra blades and a couple of other small bits and pieces.
If I was using the saw regularly I’d probably have chosen a cordless version, but the corded one is fine for my purposes.
This is the 2nd jigsaw I’ve bought, it was exactly the model I bought in September 2019 (so, sadly, out of warranty). On the old machine, the mechanism that keeps the blade in place has broken so it isn’t possible to use the machine any more. TBH, it’s had quite a bit of use over the time I’ve had it, so I’m happy to replace it with a new one, especially when the broken part was going to cost 30 and the new saw was “only” 30 more…..That all explains the headline!
I have a couple of Bosch tools that share the same battery (I have two of those as well) and like the machine. It cuts well, has a light on it, has a good guide on the baseplate. It does what I need which is pretty basic DIY. Battery life is OK, but I’m not sure I’d want to rely on it to last a whole day in constant use.
It’s a shame it doesn’t come in a nice plastic case though. I’ll see if it lasts beyond the warranty period again….
Had the Bosch cordless drill with 2 batteries so after the plumber let me down when I needed a sink moving decided to go for this to replace corded one I seem to have mislaid while moving house. Delighted with it, sailed through the worktop better than I expected being cordless. Loving having a cordless one now, so much easier. I’m just a hobby diyer because I have to but this will help me do more myself and work out cheaper in the long run. Plan on making some window shutters next.
I actually got this in July 2022 when it was “on special”. A week ago I had a small woodworking job I thought this tool would be ideal for. Unpacked it, all looked great until I looked for the blade, there wasn’t one! So I guess that was the “reduction”, no blades!!! Anyway, used the handsaw & put a memo on the phone to get some blades.
This unit does the job-but note it doesn’t come with a case which you have to buy separately.
All perfect what else can I say. Can’t wait till Amazon mess up an order, lol. So far no faults and 2 be honest I’m not expecting any. Place an order, check ur order , then watch it travel to ur door, item dispatched, item collected, item out for delivery, and item delivery time and date, just listen for the door bell. DONE.
Generally quite good. Does the job.
To improve:
1. User’s guide; for some additional bits I found in the box I have no clue how to use. Neither the
included booklet nor an online manual helped.
2. The red blade storage doesn’t stay in place while operating the tool; would be good if it did.
A great saw, put straight to use after opening the case. Fortunately, I had also bought some Bosch blades, because my unit did to come with a blade ass advertised. Hence four stars. Still, very easy to use, a great little machine.
I’m terrible at sawing so I thought I’d give this a try. Having just moved house I have a number of jobs to do. Having the Home and Garden drill and sander, I can swap batteries between tools.
This jigsaw is very easy to use and being a bosch you know it’s good quality.
Having no lead to worry about makes it so much easier to use.
Having previously owned a Bosch jigsaw for many years we decided it had seen better days and needed replacing. We are so glad we did. the new version has better safety features and is far more manageable. It is easy to manoeuvre and reaches into all the awkward corners. The blade is really easy to change too. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone interested in home DIY.
I really get on well with Bosch power tools and this is no exception – as you’d expect it makes cutting wood etc effortless – it’s low vibration and it’s really accurate. I particularly like the little perspec cutting guide flap that points out the front.
My only 2 little moans about it are there’s no form of deadman’s switch – as soon as you press the trigger it starts (as you’d expect I guess) – but it’s very hard to pick it up without accidentally pressing the trigger this is a bit dangerous – I’d prefer something like you have on lawn mowers where you have to press a button and then the trigger
Secondly the box it comes in is a lot more flimsy than the Bosch drill box – and arrived with one corner smashed. It’s not worth sending back over but it’s a bit annoying since I specifically want it in a box (oddly some of Bosch’s product don’t have a nice plastic box).

I bought this jigsaw to cut both straight and curved lines. I am really pleased with the handling ability, especially when cutting around a curve at a 45 deg angle. This proved to be much easier than I was expecting and the result was as good as I was hoping for.
Habe gleich zwei Wechsel-Akkus und ein Sgeblattset mitbestellt. Der Blattwechsel ist denkbar einfach, da bin ich bei lteren Maschinen oft gescheitert. Durch den Akku hat das Gert natrlich sein Gewicht, darum nur 4 Punkte bei Ergonomie. Aber dafr ist die Schnur nicht im Weg. Die Fhrungshilfe lsst mich nahezu gerade Schnitte absolvieren (bin eben Laie). Bin aber mit der Handhabung sehr zufriede
Ich besitze bereits eine Akkubohrmaschine von Bosch mit Akku und Ladegert (Set im Koffer). Von der schnellen Einsatzbereitschaft – Koffer schnappen, zum Arbeitsort gehen, Bohrmaschine und Akku auspacken / zusammenklicken und los gehts – bin ich begeistert. Da ich auch eine Stichsge besitze, die jedoch mit direktem Kabelanschlu funktioniert, und ich diese auch oft benutze, war ich jedesmal genervt, wenn ich dafr noch das Verngerungskabel ausrollen und danach wieder einrollen mute. Nun hab ich mir auch noch die passende Akkustichsge gekauft – und das Kabelrollen hat endlich ein Ende.

Als ambitionierter Hobbybastler bentige ich hin und wieder mal eine Stichsge, diese bekam ich sonst von meinem Kumpel. Nun habe ich mir diese Stichsge von Bosch gegnnt da ich schon einen Akkuschrauber der Grn/Roten Serie besitze und der Akku in die Stichsge passt.
Die Stichsge liegt sehr gut in der Hand, sie ist nicht zu schwer, hat vorne ein Licht und sie macht einen richtig guten Job. Ich bin mit dieser Stichsge bis jetzt super zufrieden. Preise/Leistung ist fr mich top.

Bosch rimane sempre una garanzia assoluta di qualit. Seghetto alternativo di buona fattura con materiali di altissima qualit usato per fare solo 2 tagli sul legno sembra tutto ok. Unica cosa che non mi piaciuto molto e la regolazione del angolo di taglio che devi farlo manualmente con il cacciavite. Ho un altro seghetto di un altro produttore comprato 10 ani fa che a la regolazione con la rotellina esterna. Tutto sommato funziona bene e sono contento del acquisto. NB: il seghetto viene venduto in 2 varianti: una con la batteria e una senza batteria basta guardare bene nel momento del acquisto. Acquisto consigliato
Die Stichsge gefllt mir, funktional, wie ergonomisch und mit dem Akkubetrieb. Wo ich meine Zweifel habe, ist die Haltbarkeit der Plastikabdeckung des Sgeblattes und das aufgeklipste Fhrungslineal. Preislich sehr gut.
Die Sge liegt gut in der Hand, hat mit den Akkus ausreichend Kapazitt. Sgefhrung und Schutzeinrichtung hervorragend. In dem orangefarbenen Einschub kann bis zu zwei Sgebltter hinterlegt werden, ein Sgeblatt wird mitgeliefe

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer mglichst vibrationsarmen, gut zu handhabenden, qualitativ hochwertigen und bezahlbaren Akkusge und bin bei der Bosch gelandet.
Dank Warehouse nochmal paar Euro gnstiger tut sie genau das, was ich brauchte: saubere, schnelle Schnitte z.B. in Kchenarbeitsplatten, ohne dass die Nachbarn bei eingebauten Arbeitsplatten aus dem Bett fallen. Die Vibration ist erstaunlich gering, somit auch der Lrm, der sich auf angrenzenden Bauteile und Wnde bertrgt. Tolle Sge und eine gute Entscheidung.
Aus der 18V-Akku-Reihe werden sicher weitere Gerte dazu kommen.
Der Sicherheitsknopf ist fr mich schlecht plaziert bzw. zu klein. Fingermotorisch habe ich normal keine Probleme, aber da tu ich mir ein bichen schwe

ASSURDO. Resto comunque soddisfatto perch il prodotto merita a parte qualche plastica degli accessori un po’ troppo delicata. Ho risparmiato prendendolo da Amazon warehouse usato, ma era totalmente nuovo, mai usato da nessuno. Ho risparmiato qualcosina.
Dimenticavo: ho preso una valigetta robusta ma generica sempre da Amazon warehouse per soli 11 euro che calza a meraviglia, anzi ci sta’pure qualcos’altro dentro.
Another reviewer stated that no blades were included. There was a single blade included, though I am glad that I ordered “Bosch 2608633779 Clean Wood Jigsaw Blade, 1 Lug, Silver, Pack of 3” at the same time as I think that the bigger teeth on the blade that came with the saw would have given a rougher cut on the mdf board I used.
In the description of the saw it says that a lithium ion battery is required but not included. It’s not stated in the saws details what type of lithium battery would be needed and I could not find any mention of the battery in the instructions or see where a battery could be fitted, so I think that the details on the screen must be wrong and consequently only scored the accuracy a 4.
All in all I’m pretty pleased with the saw.

War vor dem Kauf etwas skeptisch. Aber nach mehrmaligen Gebrauch hat mich das Gert berzeugt . Bin sehr zufrieden mit . Kann man mit ruhigen Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Habe diese Gert gekauft, da ich schon andere BOSCH Gerte habe und den Akku tauschen kann. Preis- Leistungsverhltnis passt.
Aufgrund vorhandener Akkus hatte ich mich fr diese Stichsge entschieden und das Gert hat mich berzeugt.
Die Sge ist super ausgewogen, liegt gut in der Hand und die Schnittfhrung ist echt hilfreich. Die Spne landen natrlich nicht ganz im Auffangbehlter, aber dennoch ist es eine recht saubere Sache.
Die T-Aufnahme der Sgebltter ist genial.

Kann diese Stichsge nur wrmstes weiterempfehlen! Es macht richtig Spa damit zu arbeiten! Habe heute ohne Probleme eine Arbeitsplatte ausgeschnitten.
The large safety guard on the front is a waste of time, when in use the light reflects of it so you can’t see the line you are following. The blade has cut into the blade guard when I was cutting found a bend. Not as good as it should be.

Zuvor hatte ich die etwas preiswerte Akkusge eines groen Discounters, weil wir hierfr schon Akkus hatten. Eigentlich auch fr Qualitt bekannt. Aber gleich 2 Akkusgen hatten mit der Zeit verschiedene Defekte.
Diese ist bisher nicht nur “unzerstrbar”, sondern in Bedienung, “Sgeverhalten”, geradem Schnitt, Wirksamkeit des Pendelhubs um Lichtjahre besser. Und – zumindest zum reduzierten Preis – nicht nennenswert teuer.
Das nchste Mal besser gleich Bosch. Und gerne immer wieder.
Funktioniert Recht gut wenn man nur hin und wieder etwas schneiden will. Mit den richtigen Sgebltter auch recht exakt und vielseitig einsetzbar.
Nicht fr intensiven Langzeiteinsatz – der Motor hlt gut, Akku auch, aber die Gesamtbauweise ist nicht so sehr robust……zB die Auflageplatte (oder wie das Teil genau heit) verbiegt sich, die Sgebltter rutschen mehr und mehr seitlich von der Fhrungsrolle.

Die Sge wirkt qualitativ sehr hochwertig und liegt gut in der Hand. Das mitgelieferte Sgeblatt schneidet gut und sauber. Fr Heimwerker sicherlich eine gute Investition. Der Akku wird beim Sgen aber schon sehr schnell geleert und so lohnt es sich bei greren Projekten auf jeden Fall einen zweiten Akku zum Wechseln zur Hand zu haben.
