The NanoBlade saw blade

Most versatile saw I have, wish I’d had it years ago.
I like the tool. It does what it is designed for and is simple to use. I have quite a few Bosch tools and use them a lot. My only complaint with this tool is regarding the battery. Why can’t Bosch use a one battery fits all system like a lot of the competition. I had planned to use the batteries from my other tools – which are all common – to supplement this saw. But… they won’t fit. So now I have to consider buying a spare battery for this one item when I already haver 2 spares for my other Bosch tools.

Good tool for cutting various types of wood, practical to use .
I have concerns about the heat the blade gets, I have found you need to keep the blade free from wood partials, take it out and clean it.
All has been OK so far, I’ve used it to cut up pallets and it managed well.

Great battery powered saw - but no original packaging
1 star only for how the item arrived. There was no original packaging. The saw was only packed in paper in a standard Amazon carton/box/package. Very disappointing, as I like to keep my Bosch devices in their original boxes.
Once unpacked I attached one of my Bosch batteries and went straight to work on one of my art projects. With the first cut I made the mistake to move the saw forward and backward, which resulted in a lot of wobbling and jumping of my project. Luckily I remembered to only go one direction and the branches where then cut smoothly.
Can’t wait to use it for other woodwork and projects.
I love the size of the saw and that it is battery powered. Now I don’t need to use my circular saw for smaller cuttings.
I know Bosch is a good and reliable brand, but I think it could be 20 cheaper and still be quite expensive.
Anyway, I love the saw. Only wish I had the original packing box to store it.
A brilliant bit of kit for anybody who doesn’t want a full chainsaw. While this can tackle larger jobs I have pushed it to its limits and broken blades because of it.
The biggest weakness of this device is the blades which at 30 a pop to replace does make this an expensive tool to use/ run.
Does it do the job? yes – if you’re planning to use this for commercial use I’d recommend looking at other alternatives – Very much the diy’ers tool one that’s is used once in a while.
Great little saw
I have a very long garden but no outside power point – this saw has been a perfect solution. I have done pruning, sawing up branches etc. It has a good battery life span and I have used on wood up to 3 inches thick.

Ich mchte nur mitteilen, dass die Kette ganz gut hlt, wenn man behutsam mit ihr umgeht.
Ich kann ganz gut ste und Anmachholz sgen. Man darf aber keinen allzu sauberen und Graden Schnitt erwarten. Ansonsten, schn handlich.

Nach dem Auspacken und der ersten Benutzung kam so etwas wie Ernchterung auf. Ist eben doch nur ein stylisches Spielzeug. Dabei war das gesehene YouTube-Video, wo diverse Sgen verglichen wurden, sehr vielversprechend und hat dazu gefhrt keine Sbelsge zu kaufen. Dann kam der erste Einsatz im Garten. Auch hier: Nur ein teures Spielzeug? Kurze Zeit spter aber hatte ich heraus, wie man die Sge einsetzten sollte: Immer ein wenig hin- und herpendeln. Und siehe da: armdicke ste werden in sehr kurzer Zeit gesgt. Nun habe ich einen weiteren Helfer fr die Gartenarbeit als Ergnzung zu Fuchsschwanz, Astschere und Rosenschere. Bleibt nur noch zu hoffen, dass das Schwertchen noch einige Zeit durchhlt.

It might not look like much but believe me when I say, this saw is not to be trifled with. The first thing I did with it after unboxing was accidentally nick my thumb trying to open an Amazon package. Admittedly, not the smartest thing I did that day; but it doesn’t look like much, is only a few inches long, and I didn’t think it would chooch that hard. I WAS WRONG!
This saw is one of the coolest tools I own. It’s versatility, ease of use and general cool factor are off the charts. 10/10 Would recommend. Would also recommend reading the safety instructions and having a fresh box of bandaids at the ready (just in case).
Use like a hand held chain saw for rapid heavy duty pruning
This saw is tiny, the blade protrudes about 10cm, but do not let that fool you. This saw can cut around a trunk that is 20cms (approx) and quickly. Probably the most agile tool for gardening that I have ever purchased. It has done the job of my loppers and chain saw (electric pole variety and petrol). I bought the saw for DIY and ended up using it for heavy-duty pruning. The blade and housing are incredible (and very sharp). It cuts through wood like butter when you hit the sweet spot. I can see this type of saw being the goto saw as I get older and find hard work hard to do. It certainly makes garden jobs simple to do. It is brilliant.

Pretty useful
This is not a tool you are going to use everyday but it has its uses. I used it to cut a slot in a skirting board.. Any hand tools like chisels would have dislodged the board
It gets a 4 instead of 5 becasue the replacement blades are so expensive.. Thats more than chainsaw chains, which is around 20

Great little tool I wish the blade had been longer or there were longer blade that could be purchased.
It is a mini chainsaw... don't expect fine detail cuts... but it does it's job well.
OMG this tool was on my Wish List for so long and when I had to replace the roof on a summer house with trees and shrubs behind it and with limited space it provided the perfect excuse to buy it.
First thing to remember it is a miniature chainsaw…. don’t use it for fine carpentry! 🙂

For cutting through timber that was left in a confined space… smashed.
It has been used by three neighbours that love how light it is, able to get into small space and devastating the anything it cuts through.

Too much fun!
Now, I know power tools are a serious business and not supposed to be fun, but OMG, this one is truly so easy and fun to use, it’s unbelievable!
Used it today to tackle some low level woody stems in the garden, and it went through like butter. Even managed the occasional green stem without any bother.
Haven’t tried it on anything too big at the moment, but from what I’ve seen, that won’t be an issue either.

Muy cmoda de utilizar y con gran potencia. Tenemos tambin la sierra EasyCut 12, y si bien la AdvancedCut 18 es algo ms pesada, se nota mucho la diferencia de potencia y velocidad.
Corta rpidamente ramas y tablones, aunque el acabado en tablas, sobretodo si son delgadas, requiere de un posterior afinado con lija, ya que astilla ligeramente los bordes.
Su diseo permite a su vez realizar agujeros o muestras con precisin en medio de tablones sin tener que serrar desde un lateral.

Great Bosch Nano Chainsaw
Just let the chain do the work, don’t apply pressure on the chain or try make it cut faster or you’ll probably break it. I’m still on my first chainsaw blade and I’ve manage to cut timber, branches in my garden no problem at all.

I bought this initially because I needed to cut a series of access ports in a large and heavy item of furniture. The item was screwed to the wall.
I could have taken it off the wall and dismantled it, but the temptation to buy yet another smart tool to do the job won me over in the end.
It turned out to be the perfect solution to my problem.
I used it to cut out exactly what I needed to cut with no visible damage to the wall or the item of furniture!
It’s a small and reasonably lightweight solution to a number of problems, most often to do with cramped working space.
I bought this “bare”, which means I was able to use my numerous existing Bosch batteries and chargers. Money saved there.
The blades are a bit of a miniature engineering marvel.
A tiny chainsaw that you can carry in your pocket! (With the plastic safety guard fitted, of course).
I like that you can start a cut by plunging straight in to the workpiece. No need for pilot holes.
You can cut straight lines and gentle curves. Nothing too twisty, it is a chain saw after all.
Easier to use than a jigsaw and more useful.
I’m sure plenty of people will dismiss it as a gimmick, but in a tight spot, it’s perfect!

Lovely only having to use in one hand
Great little tool for small branches. It is only for light work but so lovely to hold in one hand.

What a good saw but be aware....
This is a minichain saw and needs using with care but makes good plunge cuts, works well as a saw in confined spaces (back of kitchen cabinets), works well as a pruning saw. Being a chain saw it will pull the blade into the cut and needs to be hung onto if you don’t want that to happen. Compared to jig saw blades, replacement blades are expensive so care is needed not to damage the blade by twisting or running it into stone or metal – expensive lesson!
I had to make cuts in some old decking, so I could break it out as all the metal fixture were rusted – It made the job so much easier than any other saw. When used to prune resinous wood, clean the body and blade before it sets like plastic, I didn’t and it was a long job to clean out the blade – anther lesson leant…

Another great product from Bosch. Surprisingly efficient for its size. Upon purchase thought that it could do with a longer blade, but turns out this one is all that is needed.
Was mocked by Mates, but now they are lining up to use it. Like any Electric Saw safety comes first and it stops instantly that the button is released. Would definitely recommend
