No do not use the GardenPump 18 with sea or salt water. The salt is corrosive and may damage metallic components within the pump.

This will depend on the climate. Always remove the GardenPump 18 from the water tank if the weather is cold enough to freeze. In temperate climates, where freezing does not occur, the GardenPump 18 can used all year round.

Did some research and was reluctant to purchase at the price, but had Birthday voucher to put towards it and so glad I did! Absolute monster and does exactly what it says! As close as mains water supply with a hose and saves so much time especially using it up at the allotment with our 1000lt tank!!
Game change
Used on allotment to water plants and fill the water butt. Really powerful pump, almost as good as using mains supply. Easy to use and very sturdy. Although battery life is as advertised, Ww invested in a couple of spare generic batteries for flexibility.
Price was great almost half the price compared to alternatives.
Great product, battery doesn't last that long
Can’t fault the product. Only thing to be aware of is the supplied battery doesn’t last that long. I’ve not done a scientific test, but i’d say it can empty 1x100litre butt, but may need a recharge to fully empty another. It suits my needs, but for those of you who have a big butt and like to empty it regularly, you might want a spare batterry.

Die ist top ! Weil ich mehrere Akkus habe und deshalb immer tauschen kann, habe ich mir diese Pumpe besorgt. Ich hatte, nach diversen Enttuschungen mit anderen Gerten des Herstellers, keine groen Erwartungen. Aber einmal eingerichtet, was ein wenig tricky ist, pumpt sie, was das Zeug hlt, schnell und mit ordentlich Wumms.

je ne comprends mme plus pourquoi on se fait suer avec une pompe thermique qui fait du bruit, sent mauvais, et consomme pour un dbit pas forcment mieux.
je ne parle pas pour les gros dbits, mais moi c’est juste une pompe de jardin qui arrive fonctionner en ruisseau mme avec 5 cm d’eau, GENIALE cette pompe, je recommande !!!

I like having my Waterbutts on mains pressure. Now I can spray iron and lawn feed straight onto my lawn. Just mix it in a tub and let the bosch pump do the work.
THE ACCESSORY for getting water around your allotment or large garde
I can’t recommend this highly enough: pumps about 200L per charge at about mains pressure on a 25m hose. Bought this for my allotment and it has been a revelation in how to get water around the plot either watering or between storage tanks. So good I bought another for the polytunnel!

Good bit if kit , I’ve used a CV full length of hose with this . And it does the job great I use it at my allotment , If there is a lot of debris in your water then the the filter does clog, but that’s why it’s there to protect the inner workings , I’m happy , and I’m sure it will last a good while if looked after and stored properly .
Just what is needed in a hosepipe ban!
I’ve used this so much as a replacement input for my pressure washer. I use a Worx battery pressure washer for my ebike and this gives it just the right amount of power. Definitely recommend
Great Little Submersible Pump
Well made and works a treat. Portable – so easy to use from water butts at both ends of house. Provides equivalent to mains pressure output. So much easier to use hosepipe than a watering can – a real asset. Battery has limited capacity for larger gardens so may need a standby if lots of use required.

Besser als gedacht.
Wir haben die Pumpe an einem 50 m! Schlauch angeschlossen und der Druck ist sogar fr den Viereckregner am anderen Ende mehr als ausreichend. Dazu wird erstmal eine Hhe von 3 Metern berwunden. Top Produkt!

Due to arthritis I find it very difficult carrying filled watering cans. My garden has no access to a water or electricity supply so I rely on my water butt. This pump is the perfect solution!
Zum Gießen perfek
Giese damit direkt aus der Regentonne. Auch umpumpen von einem Fass zum anderen (Entfernung grer als 25m) geht ohne Probleme.
Akku rein und los gehts. Der hlt im Schnitt 3 mal gieen ohne aufladen.
Auch der Rasensprenger luft mit dieser Pumpe einwandfrei, die Timerfunktion ist in dieser Kombination spitze.

Brilliant bit of ki
Bought this on prime day recently, got the whole kit for 51, just drop it in to find it gives a flow better than the mains supply. I now am a converted water saver, using two water butts plus tipping in the fresh water that runs prior to the hot coming through to water garden and Potts. Also learned using grey water (bath etc) to put straight on borders as I learned putting in in the water butt smells bad in a day or two. So just rain and potable pre hot stuff in the butt. It drains our 210 litre butt very quickly
Almost too good. The pum is powerful and allows a hosepipe to be used with good pressure, you can also power a sprinkler with it. But it does use a lot of water, so be wary.
I now use my pump to fill a watering can which it does really quickly.
Bought it on Prime day so got a good deal, normal price is quite high imo.

Erstaunlich was dieses kleine Ding an Druck aufbaut. Mit der Brause zum Gieen von Blumenkbeln und Pflanzen ist kein Unterschied zwischen dieser Pumpe und dem Hausanschluss zu merken. Man sollte stets mit einem vollen Akku gieen. Die Pumpe saugt ordentlich Leistung aus dem Akku. Bin voll zufrieden.

The battery mount is suitably located in my shed but can be mounted on the side of the tank if required. Bought this on prime day at a bargain price. Great Pump
This is a Game changer for us it helps up drain the hot tub out, so we can get it cleaned. It can be mounted indoors or outdoors, there is a waterproof cover that covers the battery and a catch keeps it inplace.
It cpmes with a anti theft screw just so it cannot be easily taken although a good tug will just snapp the backing plate.
Really great well designed product by Bosch, would reccomend this.
An excellent battery operated garden pump
This 18v battery powered garden pump has high pressure and works wonders when it comes to pumping water. It will work for up to 30mins which is more than enough to empty a full water butt. I am using it to pump fresh water from a local Brook onto a plot and it is ideal for this kind of water source – and a lot cheaper than metered water. An excellent product from Bosch.

Im letzten Jahr haben wir schon das Komplettset mit Pumpe und Steuereinheit + Akku erworben. Wir nutzen die Pumpe fr unsere groe 1000l Regentonne, die das Wasser aus der Regenrinne unseres Daches auffngt. In regelmigen Abstnden pumpen wir das Wasser aus dem Grobehlter in ein normales Regenfass, wo wir dann das Wasser mit der Giekanne entnehmen knnen. An den heien Tagen, schlieen wir auch unseren Rasensprenger direkt an der Pumpe an und lassen den Garten groflchig bewssern. Die Tauchpumpe liefert ausreichenden Druck, luft leise und dezent im Hintergrund. Fr uns eine ideale Lsung in unserem Garten.

Tout simplement gnial. Idal pour arroser mme avec un rcuprateur d’eau type colonne grce son petit diamtre (<10cm). Le jet est puissant et j'utilise pourtant un tuyau extensible de 60 mtres.
Works perfectly
This is my second purchase of this pump.
The first is going well but I would have to pack it up and bring it down to my rain barrel at the front garden each time I needed to water there.
So when I saw the pump at a cheaper price I decided to indulge and buy a second one.
I have found the pump to be very reliable and sped up my watering greatly. from backbreaking watering with a can to this has been a fantastic improvement. It is so easy to use and charge and I just leave the unit attached to the side of the water barrel taking the battery inside to charge when needed.
In fact due to family illness the initial pump was left out all winter and still works perfectly.
Would definitelly reccomend.

Easy to install
So good I bought another one! I have screwed ours to the shed wall with the pump in an adjacent water butt. I use a short expanding hose to water the pots and cold frames. The hose is a 25ft type. I have another pump installed in a larger butt with a 100ft expanding hose but at this distance, and at full extension, it’s struggling a bit with water pressure. But there’s still enough to be able to water some flower pots. It might work better with a traditional hose. I also bought a spare battery so as to have one to hand already charged up.
Great water saving
This pump is far better than I expected. Transfers bathwater to water buts very quickly for use in the garden. A second battery is must for larger gardens and I would recommend this to anyone
I am 81 years old and found it a struggle to try to water my plants with a watering can, I then discovered this water pump it goes into the water butt you attach the hose, so easy and when the butt is empty I can move it to the next one and so on, saves my water bill. I had a bad fall trying to water but this pump has helped me to keep my garden going as I thought I would have to give it up so my garden is now safe and so am I.
Brilliant idea if it's your bag
A tad expensive, however that’s outweighed by the convenience it gives. I was initially troubled by the description on Amazon and what items actually were included. I didn’t want to have the expense of the accessory kit too.
Needn’t have worried, it’s all in there, brackets, battery, charger the lot.
Works great, easy to set up.
Only one concern, the plastic used for the brackets and charger mount is somewhat thin. It won’t handle much rough stuff I expect. So if you are heavy handed, you’ve been warned.

Simply a great piece of kit. Bought for my allotment to save time on watering. Simple and quick to install, worked first time and feels like the same pressure you’d get from a hose attached to the mains. Cut my watering time down to a couple of minutes for the whole plot. 5 stars.

I bought this item for use on my allotment. We have a water supply but hosepipes are not allowed. It usually takes 20-30 watering cans to water my plot in the growing season. Very pleasantly surprised by this product it worked straight from the box so simple to put together didn’t need a charge just plug and play, I had been using my normal expanding hose prior to arrival so I set this up in my water butt and attached my hose which extends to 100 feet under pressure and found very little difference in the mains pressure and the pump pressure there was a slight drop in the pumps pressure but very minimal it pulled the water from the butt and pushed it 100 feet to my adjustable hose nozzle and sprayed my garden just as good as the mains water. Still reaching a good distance, only downside was it certainly empties a 100 litre butt very fast could not believe how much water disappeared from the butt and only used it for a couple of minutes as a trial test certainly need more rain to fill my 4 butts if it empties them that quick I cannot fault this product bought as used but it looked brand new in box from Amazon works perfectly at a exceptionally good price I was expecting a good quality product being a Bosch and wasn’t disappointed it’s a brilliant product does exactly what it says it does and comes complete as per pictures you only need a hose with normal fittings and a water source eg butts or pond rivers etc excellent buy
A very useful garden accessory.
This pump is easy to use, sturdily built, and provides more than enough pressure for garden sprinklers etc. I have six water butts placed at different locations around the house and garden shed, so the pump comes in very useful for watering directly from water butts or transferring between water butts. Battery charge is sufficient to empty a 205 litre water butt which is plenty.

Versatile submersible water pump for garde
This pump works well, I’m using it to pump rainwater from butts to the other side of the garden, around 50 metres. Saves a lot of bucket carrying! Good pressure, enough to use the spray attachment even at 50 metres. With a separate battery housing, cables and hoses to set up,it’s a little fiddly but that makes it versatile, so easy to forgive. Came with a 2.5 Amp hour battery, which seemed to run down quite quickly, just enough power to empty one butt 3-4 times, but I wasn’t paying a lot of attention. Simple on/off and timed run buttons on the battery housing. Just connect a hose, drop it into the butt, and run the hose through the supplied plastic hook. Copes with very sludgy water at the bottom of the butts!

The water pressure was fantastic and we ran this via an additional 80ft hose pipe.
Note – we’ve yet to connect it to a hose water gun however I don’t expect any issues at all.

We liked the simplicity of the unit and it was used as a transfer pump to move water around the allotment. When the time comes for irrigation it will be used for that job too.

Very fine mesh on suction, so very small chance of anything unwanted making it’s way through the pump.
Really simple to use and assemble, fairly compact and good flow rate, I reckon a fair bit better than mains pressure.
Would definitely recommend (can’t comment on gardening use though)!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Pumpe berrascht in ihrer Leitung. Mit einem 15m langen Schlauch und 2m Steigung war ich sehr zu Frieden mit der Leitung. Innerhalb von ein paar Minuten war ein 120l Fass voll mit Wasse

Drop it in the bottom and have had 40 metres of hose on the end of the pump and works well with hozelock lance very well. I suggest you have more than 1 battery because they last about 15 /20 mins max .

Genau was ich suchte (für Regentonnen)
Die Pumpe kann mit (bei mir schon vorhandenen) Akkus der Bosch-Reihe betrieben werden, auch Akkus mit nur 2.5 Ah funktionieren hier.
Die Ansaugung klappt auch bei tiefen Regentonnen, die Steuereinheit kann einfach ber den Rand gehngt werden. Der Wasserdruck (nach 25m Schlauch) ist bei mir ausreichend fr Bewsserung.
Die Pumpe kann schnell von einer Regentonne zur nchsten versetzt werden.

We have a vegetable plot some ay from our house which has no power supply and requires a long hose to reach it. Using this product, we can pump water from the water butt and use a hose pipe to water all the crops. The battery is easily removed for charging.

Usata per irrigazione su balcone, con taniche. Ottima potenza e portata.
L’ho installata per uso senza batteria collegandola ad un alimentatore esterno 18V 100W (consuma circa 95W durante l’uso), ma ho dovuto crere un adattatore custom per collegarlo alla pompa, in quanto essa usa un connettore particolare (LLT-M12-10002F2861) per collegarla alla batteria (e controller) originale.
La pompa consuma circa circa 95W.
Peccato che non vendano la pompa da sola senza accessori, se non come introvabile pezzo di ricambio (F 016 F05 635).

I have a number of water butts around the garden and I wanted to make watering plants easier than lugging watering cans around. I have some other Bosch cordless tools so this seemed a good option. It was easy to set up and get going once the battery was fully charged. I have to say that I am really impressed with the pressure that it pushes out. It can drain a 200ltr water butt in no time (so much so I am adding more water butts to collect more rainwater and connecting them together). Being able to move the pump between the different water butts is great. Really pleased and would recommend.

Ich habe mehrere Wasserfsser im Garten stehen und kann ganz unkompliziert von einem Fass zum nchsten wechseln ohne mit Kabeltrommel und Strom hantieren zu mssen. Kleiner Minuspunkt: nach einigen Regentagen stand Wasser innerhalb der Batterie Abdeckung und d der Akku stand teilweise im Wasser. Ich hab jetzt noch eine Plastiktte drber gemacht und werde die Sache weiter beobachte
A really powerful low voltage pump - now I just need enough stored water!
I’d been looking for a sensibly priced low voltage pump and the ‘extension kit’ is ideal if you want to customise your own set up. The ‘extension kit’ is essentially just the pump and a short hose with a helpful anti-syphon check valve. So if you know how to connect it up to your own 18 volt garden tool batteries of any brand then you are sorted for a fraction of the price of the full kit. I’ve customised mine with a radio control module so the pump only kicks in when I press the remote key fob to provide water out of the 25 m hose. Also works 3-4 metres uphill so I can wash cars out front. The only downside of such a powerful pump is that you will need at least 600-800 litres in syphon-linked water butts to avoid running dry too quickly when using a spray gun.
Brilliant for allotment’s
I purchased the unit without batteries as already had some Bosch one 4 all 18v power tools. I used this with a pond filter wrapped around the metal filter and used this to transfer water from the water trough to my 240litre water butt’s around my allotment. I usually use one 2.5ah battery per water butt and has loads of pressure even using a 30m hose. Delivery was fast and would definitely recommend one of these for anyone with an allotment!

Absolutely brilliant item. I bought an expandable hosepipe to go with this . It’s the best money for value I’ve spent all year . Saves loads of times carrying water . Just dips onto water barrel and pumps the water at a fantastic speed. Thankyiu
