Why does the device detect objects all over the wall?
The tool detects spots that are different from the surrounding wall. Therefore, besides objects like cables or pipes, it will also detect bigger air gaps or other differences that might appear in some walls.
What should I do if the device displays different results for the same measurement?
Follow our tips for best results and make sure to do all the measurements the same way. In particular, move the tool slightly when you put it first time on the wall (so that it recognizes the surface) and keep the outer conditions constant.
Do I need to move the tool along the surface several times in order to measure?
Due to the spot measurement you don’t have to move the tool several times. But if you put the tool on the wall and it shows yellow light you should move slightly. Then, the tool will recognize the surface and show the best results.
How can I improve my measurement result?
Apply voltage to the cable being searched for (i.e. turn on the light), remove gloves/metal jewellery, turn off interfering electronic devices, & select the correct detection setting. Hold the tool properly and avoid touching it close to the sensor.
What about the radiation of the radar sensor?
The radar sensor inside the device uses a very small radiated power to detect the objects inside the wall. The maximum power transmitted is lower by a factor of 10.000 compared to a mobile phone.

Not had much chance to use this yet but when I did it seems quite sensitive which I guess is a good thing!
Maybe I need time to get used to how it works but it did pick up everything so far.
Quite expensive but if it saves me from drilling a pipe or cable once it will have paid for its self.
I will add to this review after more use.
L’uso del prodotto non esattamente una passeggiata.
Se suona significa che ha rilevato qualcosa nel muro, ma difficile capire che cosa) pu essere un cavo elettrico, un tubo, un vuoto (magari foratini) o un tubo dell’ acqua.
Siate sicuri tuttavia che, se in un punto la luce verde, li sotto non c’ nulla.
Ich habe damit Begrenzungskabel des Automowers gesucht und gefunden. Macht auch bei der Suche nach Stromkabeln oder Wasserleitungen im Haus (testweise) einen guten Eindruck.
Haben ein Haus gekauft, da mssen viele elektrische Leitung gesucht werden. Das Gert hat bisher immer sicher angezeigt. So das wir uns mittlerweile darauf verlassen.
Das Gert macht was es soll.
Tip: Um Fubodenheizungsrohre, die ber einer Metallfolie verlegt sind, zu orten, muss man das Gert auf ein ca 5 cm hohes Stck Holz oder Kunststoff legen, sodass man einen konstantem Abstand ber dem Boden hat, gerade so, dass die Folie auerhalb des Ortungsbereichs liegt und die Rohre innerhalb. Dann hrt der Daueralarm auf und die Rohre werden erkennbar. Ein wenig ausprobieren, bis man den korrekten Abstand gefunden hat, funktioniert sehr gut.
MAIS, sur du placo (trs fin) , il sonne tout le temps (sur prises et lignes lectrique), car le cne de dtection est large et trop puissant pour ce type de support.
A privilgier sur des supports plus pais (briquette, bton creux…).
Il faudrait presque avoir aussi son cousin le GMS120 en complment dans ses outils, un peu moins puissant (j’utilisais celui la avant) et du coup plus adapt au placo.
Solo que en la parte que toca la pared el Plastico est muy expuesto y se raya fcilmente
Das Gert liefert absolut verlssliche und exakte Infos zu Bauteilen und Leitungen in Wnden. Es ist Anfangs etwas bung notwendig um verlssliche Infos zu erhalten, aber man gewhnt sich recht schnell an den Umgang.
Einen Stern Abzug gibt es aufgrund eines kleines Mangels: Bei weien Wnden gibt es durch die Bewegung des Gehuses auf der Wand ganz leichte blau Farbspuren. Abhilfe schafft etwas Malerband auf den Auflageflchen. Da htte Bosch wie bei den groen Brdern Dtect 150 und aufwrts kleine Rollen einbauen knnen.
Aber fr das Geld auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Ein getroffenes Kabel verursacht da deutlich mehr Kosten und vor allem Nerven.
Das Gert findet alles, was sich in der Wand versteckt. Allerdings erfhrt man selten was genau. Gerade in Stahlbeton, wo alle 10cm ein Armierungseisen in der Wand liegt, kann man nur raten, ob das Such-Ergebnis ein Eisen, eine Stromleitung oder gar eine Wasserleitung meint. Induzierte Spannung kann man durch Handauflegen unterdrcken- wie in meinem Video zu sehen unterdrckt man damit aber auch echte Spannungsfunde- beim Klebeband befindet sich ein Stromkabel, mit Handauflegen wird es aber trotz Stromfluss nicht mehr als Spannungsfhrend angezeigt, sondern nur noch als normalen Fund. Es macht halt schon einen Unterschied, ob man ein Stromkabel sucht oder Eisen. Das Inlay passt nur in alte L-Boxxen (136 laut Bosch aber das wre Platzverschwendung), der Ausschnitt fr den Akku ist zu klein. Die Gummierung ist sehr klebrig und hlt den Staub fest- wie bereits bei anderen Gerten moniert.

Der Leitungssucher ist Top ,er findet die Leistung sehr zuverlssig.
Der Detektor tut was er soll. Ich habe damit schon zuverlssig Stromleitungen in der Wand orten knnen.
Ich htte mir erst ein Detektor fr rund 15 gekauft, aber damit findet man nichts in der Wand. Dieser hier ist zwar nicht gnstig, funktioniert aber problemlos.
Positiv:
– Anzeige in einem beleuchteten Display.
– Akustische Signal, wenn eine Leitung gefunden wird.
– Handelsbliche Batterien nutzbar, mitgeliefert, 4 x Typ AA, Mignon.
– Verstndliche Gebrauchsanleitung, als PDF-Version downloadbar.
– Findet Stromleitung (Kupfer) mit und ohne elektrische Spannung, bei letzterem wird ein Blitzsymbol angezeigt. Ich hatte Erfolg bei ca. 6 cm Tiefe.
– solide wertige Verarbeitung.
Negativ:
– Kann bei auch bei der Betriebsart “Beton” in Stahlbetondecken Monier-Eisen von Stromleitungen nicht unterscheiden.

Was hat man nicht alles fr Gertschaften getestet und sich auf abenteuerlichste Piep- Und Blinkorgien eingelassen, um am Ende dann doch unsicher zu sein, wo nun was langluft.
Das Ding ist sicherlich nichts fr den gelegentlichen Heimanwender, da preislich doch im oberen Schmerzsegment angesiedelt; vor allem, wenn man es mit klassischen 10-Angeboten vom Whltisch vergleicht. ABER die Radartechnologie funktioniert halt anders, ist zuverlssig und liefert reproduzierbare Ergebnisse – Das hat seinen Preis und gibt einem ein Gefhl von Sicherheit, vor allem auch bei unterliegenden Rohrleitungen.
Wer viel mit dem Bohrer unterwegs ist, handwerklich einiges bewegt und effizient unterwegs sein will, dem kann ich das Teil nur wrmstens ans Herz legen 🙂
Habia leido comentarios que no funcionaba, decid probarlo y si no funcionaba lo devolvia, hasta el momento si ha detectado las tuberias donde yo se que estan, con gran precisin y lo he puesto a prueba donde no se donde pasan pero se que debe de haber alguna y tambien las ha detectado.
Das Gert arbeitet sehr zuverlssig und findet Widerstnde als auch Stromleitungen extrem genau und schnell, im Gegensatz zu den gnstigeren Gerten arbeitet der Bosch Scanner mit Radar welches tatschlich brauchbare Ergebnisse einfhrt, dies ist fr mich das kleinste Gert der Wandscannerklasse das man kaufen sollte.
Einen Stern Abzug dafr das der Support fr das Gert dann doch sehr hakelig war, bei mir gingen zuerst die 12V Bosch Akkus nicht ins Gert obwohl sowohl die Website als auch das Gert das so beschrieben, der Support von Bosch schickte mir das Gert zurck und sagte mir nur “Keinen Fehler gefunden”, keine Beschreibung kein gar nichts, da ich die Akkus weiterhin nicht einstecken konnte habe ich es nochmals eingeschickt und erst dann wurde ich durch Bilder drauf hingewiesen das man effektiv die dreifache Menge an Gewalt anwenden muss um die Akkus einzufhren. Ich besitze fast alle 12V Gerte von Bosch und ganz ehrlich, das wird ein Toleranz Problem sein, mit lteren ausgenudelteren Akkus geht es brigens wesentlich einfacher, alle kein Beinbruch, aber schon eine eher nervige Angelegenheit.
Ach ja, und die L-Boxx Einlage in der Solo Variante ist fr die alten L-Boxxen die man vor Jahren abgeschafft hat.

Nach Test unzhliger unbrauchbarer Leitungssuchgerte jeglicher Preisklassen unter 100 EUR ist dieses das erste Gert welches tatschlich (wieder) Leitungen auffindet.
Selbst der kleine Bruder von Bosch, das “GMS 120 Professional”, hatte bei den Testwnden klglich versagt.
Ein Stern Abzug fr Verarbeitungsqualitt aus billigem Kunststoff und irrefhrende Werbung. Denn die Erkennungstiefe fr Stromkabel liegt bei max. 6 cm, bei Holz sogar nur bei 3,8cm. Fr bliche Heimanwendungen reicht das aber aus.
Wer mehr will, knnte zum groen Bruder, dem “D-TECT 200 C” tendieren. Und wer das Glck hat, einen alten Leitungsfinder der 20 D-Mark Preisklasse mit Drehpotentiometer in Opas Werkzeugkasten zu finden, sollte das Teil gut aufheben, denn diese einst zuverlssigen Gerte werden schon lange nicht mehr hergestellt.
Hat bislang gut und relativ exakt funktioniert. Abweichungen gibt es nur durch metallische Gegenstnde in der unmittelbaren Nhe.

Also erstmal wieder schnelle Lieferung von Amazon. Ich habe es ausgiebig getestet.Da ich ungefhr wei wo meine ganze Leitungen im Haus verlaufen konnte ich Kabel….Strom fhrende Leitung kupfer rohr und Plastik rohr wasserfhrend berprfen und muss sagen das er mir alles richtig angezeigt hat. Ok ist nicht gerade so gnstig aber dafr 100% Treffer bei mir was natrlich sehr viel kosten erspart hat bei mir .Daher kann ich es uneingeschrnkt empfehlen.
Este equipo lo deseaba comprar desde hace aos, pero costaba mucho ms. El ao pasado revis parte de la instalacin elctrica de mi casa, (no tengo plano elctrico), yo lo comenc a hacer, pero hubo ductos que no pude identificar como van dentro de las paredes. Este equipo al recibirlo lo prob y si detecta los cables de energa elctrica atravesando las paredes. Entonces cuando tenga oportunidad volver a seguir identificando las manqueras de electricidad. Es un extra que incluya las bateras y se agradece. En Amazon Prime Days 2021 estaba a buen precio y por eso lo compr.
Que encuentra todo tipo de objetos, incluyendo ls madera y a buena distancia, pero tienes que insistir varias veces, al darte svisos erroneos y a veces fallar en otros, que no encuentrs lo que sabes que est ah. Habiendo dicho esto, es el mejor de todos los que he probado.
Habe zuerst ber den Preis nachgedacht, ob sich solch ein Gert lohnen wrde. Kann das Gert hier nur wrmstens empfehlen. Es hat die Stromleitungen unter Putz einwandfrei geortet und uns so vor Schden beim Bohren geschtzt. Die Genauigkeit der Ortung ist sehr gut. Ich habe auch in einer gefliesten Trockenbauwand die Dachlatten damit finden knnen, um einen Spiegelschrank aufzuhngen.
Funcionou perfeitamente (eltrico e gua), ainda no testei em tubo de cobre (gs).

Very accurate at finding Wall studs. Sometimes Electricity warning goes off in a wall that definitely contains no wiring. Getting used to its intricacies now. Yes it’s a lot more than some devices, but what value would you put on the cost of having to have a Plumber/Electrician, then a builder for repairs to your dismantled wall + plastering and re-decorating to get it back to the state it was in just before your drill went through in the wrong place? Looking at it that way I decided 200 odd was a worthwhile investment…

Ayant dj acquis un autre model plus conomique, le Bosch Professional Dtecteur mural GMS 120 disponible sur Amazon ici: https://amzn.to/3bRc7en (Copiez/collez ce lien dans votre navigateur) dont je ne suis pas du tout content. Les dtections sont trs approximatives et plutt trop sensibles.
Il clignote en permanence mme en prsence uniquement de bois. Je pense que Bosch aurait d le peindre en vert plutt qu’en bleu. Enfin…
Je n’ose imaginer ce que les modlesde marques alternatives vont vous donner!
Donc, voil le nouveau matre bord qui j’ai confi ma scurit et c’est enfin le produit que je recherchais.
Oui, c’est cher, mais a marche presque 100%.
Dans mon cas, tout est en bton arm, donc il y a des faux positifs mais c’est normal.
Il faut bien lire la notice qui explique comment se placer le long du mur pour ne pas faire antenne avec son corps. Les commentaires ngatifsont d sauter cette tape cruciale.
Il m’a aid aussi suivre les rails mtalliques sous des panneaux de pltres.0 % d’erreur.
Il est solide et aucune rayures sur le socle, bien que je l’ai frott sur les murs en bton.
Livr avec 3 piles btons, la forme du rceptacle pile le rend compatible avec les batteries rechargeables Bosch.
Avec des piles, je n’ai jamais eu besoin d’en changer les 3 mois d’utilisation.
Je ne regrette pas mon achat. 100% recommand.
Et mmemieux, je l’ai revendu une fois la cartographie faite sur un site de petite annonce et presque rcupr mon investissement de dpart.
Donc il n’y a aucune raison de reculer devant l’investissement pour sa propre scurit.C’est Bosch et sa valeur la revente est importante.

An Nicht-Stahlbetonwnden zeigt es zuverlssig, wann man bohren kann und wann nicht.
Das Einzige, was mich strt, ist die Auflageflche an der Wand. Die ist einfach aus dem gleichen blulichen Plastik gefertigt, wie der Rest des Gehuses und somit fhrt man sehr rau ber die Wand und die Farbe des Plastiks frbt leicht auf die Wand ab! Ich verstehe nicht, warum es bei dem hohem Preis nicht mglich ist, weie Teflonauflageflchen zu verwenden, die die Reibung stark vermindern und keine Vefrbungen auslsen wrden.

Un buen equipo con gran sensibilidad de deteccin…requiere un poco de entrenamiento para determinar falsos positivos y distinguir la seal de los objetos detectados.
J’y croyais a moiti mais ca fait le job. Je suis en double parois de chaque cot et ca dtecte meme le bois. Le seul problme c’est son prix.
Ich hab das Gert an jeder Leitung im Haus getestet die ich kenne und die verdeckt verlegt ist: Trockenbauwand, Beton, Spachtelmasse Rotband, Fliesen, Steinzeug – Egal! Alle Stromleitungen, Wasserrohre usw. wurden zuverlssig und cm- genau gefunden. Perfekt, was will man mehr?

Nicht ganz billig, aber super funktional. Ich habe vorher ein anderes Gert gehabt, auch beruflich genutzt, und mich stndig ber die unsichere funktionsweise gergert. Wrde das Gert jedem empfehlen, der ein sicheres Arbeits-ergebnis erreichen mchte.

Como he ledo en otros reviews, da la impresin de que da ms lecturas positivas de lo que realmente debe ser, porque me ha dado positivos en paredes que no deberan tener nada detrs. Es posible que sea por los huecos de los ladrillos.
Eso s, cuando dice que se puede taladrar y he taladrado nunca he tenido ningn problema.
Tambin me parece muy til que puedas moverlo por la pared y te va diciendo el lugar correcto para taladrar. Con los anteriores ms baratos haba que ir tomando posiciones en cada punto. Con este aparato lo puedes mover y te va diciendo en cada momento si hay algo detrs.
The last time I used it I was much more impressed than the first few attempts, maybe because (due to the price and the size) I was expecting a lot more from it at the start. After more time using the tool I appreciate it needed some learning from different use cases and now I feel a lot more confident about what it is telling me. It is probably a bit overboard for an amateur DIYer like myself and I would be hard pressed to justify the expense if I hadn’t received this review version. Even now, it still feels like a lot of money for what you get, but I’m not really the target audience, I feel, as my previous scanner, 100 pounds cheaper, gives results not far different to this one. Given the choice now, I use the D-tect every time, as it is more practical and complete.
What this tool did do was introduce me to the Bosch Pro 12V System cordless range and I’m thankful for that, as I absolutely love the other tools in the range. The battery and charge in this bundle can be reused across the range, meaning you can get the other tools on their own for considerably less than you do if the battery and charger are included. I’ve now got 4 tools from the Bosch Pro range and absolutely love them all, even this scanner.
For the Pros, this is probably a good buy as the extra level of feedback you get from the screen saves time and gives more reassurance in locations where you have no knowledge of the walls you’re working on.
Immer noch ein Glcksspiel. Ich benutze das Gert eigentlich ausschlielich fr Kunststoffrohre die mit Wasser gefllt sind. Ansonsten liefert das kleinere und billigere Modell beinahe bessere Ergebnisse.

Geht nur wenn die Wand geeignet ist. Bei uns ist der Aufbau ReibePutz, Gipswand, 1cm Luft oder Kleber, Styropor. Im Styropor sind die Kabel oft nur 1 cm tief drin. Die Kabel erkennt unser Gert auch innerhalb der angegebenen 5 cm Abstand (bei Gipswnden) nicht zuverlssig.
Soweit hatte die Rezension 3 Sterne. Nachdem wir umgezogen sind habe ich doch noch einen vierten Stern vergeben. In unserem neuen Haus 80er. funktioniert das Gert sehr gut und zuverlssig.

I’ve used it a couple of times already (on dot and dab walls) and it is absolutely brilliant the best, most accurate wall scanner I have used…
First job was hanging three 68cm (dia) mirrors on a wall with 2 double sockets and a radiator fed with plastic pipes. The scanner easily traced the routes for both the wires for the sockets and the plastic pipes for the radiator.
Macht was es soll. Sehr bersichtlich und einfach zu bedienen. Hatte schon mal
hnliche Gerte von denen allerdings keines zuverlssig funktionierte. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Teurer als die Konkurrenz aber auch wesentlich besser……
Zudem wurden mit Wasserleitungen als Stromfhrend angezeigt.
Ich wrde daher zu dem gnstigeren Gert greifen fr den Heimgebrauch.
Enfin un outil qui dtecte vraiment travers les cloisons. Attention, Aux produits bas de gamme, lgion dans ce domaine, qui servent remplir nos poubelles !

Unfortunately I still had no time to test it thoroughly. It seems to work but I can’t comment on how well it detects anything beyond the wall. The item looks great and of high quality. The price is great too, as always on Amazon. Will try to update this review if I’ll finally use it extensively.
Wir haben das Gert bei unserem Schreiner gesehen der unsere Kche aufgebaut hat. Die Radarmglichkeit fanden wir faszinierend. Daher habe ich mir dieses Gert auch angeschafft und es war bisher bei unserer Renovierung ein Segen. Es zeigt przise Wasserleitungen Metall oder Strom in den Wnden an. Man kann sich dem Objekt in der Wand ziemlich genau neben uns wird mit einem Fadenkreuz angezeigt. Die Variante mit den mignon Batterien reicht fr den Otto Normal Verbraucher vollkommen aus.

This is a very high quality detector – it looks good, has a good display and seems to work well. The kit i received includes the charger and battery, which is very good.
It’s always worth cross checking detection to make sure it works as expected, but for me it seemed to work very well and very easy to use. Complements all the other Bosch blue tools as well.

Denn optimalen Einsatz muss ein wenig gebt werden, dann erzielt man gute Ergebnisse.
Es gibt preiswertere Gerte
So a few pointers.
Do not expect to get an accurate reading by putting straight on the wall and doing a simple single pass. It has auto sensitivity which means you need to get a few passes carried out before you get an accurate result.
Look for the second meter to show the centre dot as it passes over known wires.
Get used to when the meter starts sounding/flashing verses the location of known wires and when it just shows a solid dot. Look for the centre-dot to appear as you move across the wall, keep going over the area – at least a few sweeps.
As it approaches something it detects it from a longer distance than the reverse. A few sweeps either side will give you the most accurate reading.
Make sure you hold it properly and avoid holding it by the head. Holding it by the head seems to really confuse the accuracy. And remove any rings and watches you may have on your hand/wrist. This again can cause confusion.
Keep your other hand on the wall. Possibly earthing yourself to the wall would give you a better reading? If you are charged with static it might affect your reading.
This is a professional tool which requires a good amount of preparation to ensure best results.

This Professional Detector is of a very good quality with an exact and fast determination of the structures of the material that is in the wall. It is used very easily and comfortably.
I have a standard Bosch detector and this one is much more accurate, as it should be with the price difference.
It needs a bit of practice to use and get the “swiping” speed correct. It gives a visual display and a bleep loud enough to hear even in a noisy environment.
You do wonder about the thought that went into the design however. It came in an enormous plastic carry/storage box that looks like a multi function box with a variety of sections.
Much is made in the blurb about being also able to use it with AA batteries, this is possibly true but the adapter is not supplied and does not seem to be available from Bosch either.
The rechargeable battery seems to last for ever particularly as this is not a device that would be in continuous use.
I think a better design would be for the battery to be built in and have a phone type charger which would make everything more compact and get rid of the need for the big box which could be replaced with a case/holster which would make it much more usable.
Incidentally spare batteries do not seem to be available from Bosch either.
The unit is supplied in a Bosch L-Boxx case, together with rechargeable battery and charger. As this leaves ample space, the case includes a plastic tray for a Bosch Professional cordless drill. Once you ‘buy into’ the Bosch Professional range, the batteries can be used interchangeably.
The Detector is simple to use with three modes for masonry, plasterboard and concrete with rebar walls. When moved across the surface, the ‘beeping’ and display shows the location of the detected object. Live wire cause the red LED to blink and a ‘live conductor’ indicator comes on.
In use, I found the detector worked a specified and was even able to locate a ceiling rose through floorboards in the floor above. It’s not sold for the purpose, but it can also locate ferrous nails etc. in lumber before running it through a saw.
I’d like to see a couple of improvement –
1) The essential instructions on a laminated card to tuck into a pocket on the L-Boxx lid
2) Low friction pads on the underside to minimise risk of marking when sliding the unit over painted wall surfaces
This detector arrived in a very large but mostly empty tool box which appears to stack to other tool boxes. There is a charger, battery and instructions included.
Using it is simple. You turn it on with the detector against the surface you are detecting through and then select the material from the three choices. Moving the unit side to side across the wall will give audible and visual indications of something behind the wall. If there is electricity present it will beep and flash.
On my plasterboard walls it seems to be very accurate, finding the centres within a few mm. In some cases it can be a little bit too sensitive, finding things on the other side of the partition, but with a but of patience and some common sense it is straight forward to interpret the readings and find what you are looking for.
It is a bit pricey for the casual user but for the professional you do get what you pay for.
I should clarify that I am a confident DIY’er (I know when to call someone in) rather than a pro-user and have had close calls with almost drilling into power cables (within 1mm) and water supply pipes (I actually drilled directly into one of those, but noticed a change in the pitch of the drill and stopped before I caused a leak). I have used many different detectors and have never felt 100% confident in their accuracy; I am not at 100% with this either, but I am closer than I have ever been with a detector to date.
This detector comes with a rechargeable battery pack and battery charger. A part charge is present on arrival but full charging before first use is recommended. I found the battery pack difficult to fit to both the detector and charger, something that I hope will ease with use.
The things I am concerned most about finding are electrical wires and water pipes, having had near disasters with both in the past. This picked up electric cables without any trouble whatsoever, including the one that is buried in plaster and covered with travertine tiles in my bathroom (site of the near miss when I decided to hang a picture). I had a couple of false positives to start with, but that was down to my technique rather than a problem with the detector as they were not repeated subsequently. The display is easy to read and understand.
Despite the large box, the device itself is relatively small and not cumbersome to use. The battery should last for about 5 hours of use before it will need to be recharged, so that should suit most domestic as well as pro-users. A full charge takes around 90 minutes.
Note that it is supplied in a large, sealed tool box (no chance of ever losing this) with a serial number and warranty that the device has been tested before shipping. The box has a thin plastic insert that suggests you may also be able to purchase with a drill and other components, but there is definitely space in the box for other things to be added, although the plastic tray is unlikely to withstand too much heavy use.
This is one of the best detectors I have used to date and should suit most DIY users, as well as many pros. The tool box is a little large for the device alone, but it does ensure the detector is kept safe and not misplaced. Plus there is room for you to add your other essentials.
Funciona bastante bien pero en paredes reales da bastantes falsas detecciones y segun la profundidad puede no detectar.
I used it to scan some walls before demolition, good job I did too as there were all sorts of hidden cables and nasty surprises in there! Through brick and plaster it worked a treat, finding hidden wires and metal work. It did struggle on foil backed insulation though, I couldn’t find the stud behind 130mm insulated board.
I really liked that it came with the AA adapter as I only have one Bosch Professional 12v battery

Du coup j’ai achet le BOSCH DTECT 120 230 , seul problme : 3 fois plus coteux !
Comme j’avais les deux sous la main j’ai fait un maximum de tests .
Rsultat : hlas 90 vous avez un jouet et 230 un outil !

La he usado un par de veces y me ha dado alguna lectura que otra errnea, supongo que tendr que probarla ms para saber realmente si vale lo que cuesta.

serve un poco di dimestichezza nell’imparare ad usarlo a dovere ma vi riporto le mie esperienze
– Ha rilevato tutti i cavi/tubi presenti; in particolar modo la funzione cavi elettrici sotto tensione estremamente precisa ( se non sono sotto tensione li rileva come metalli);
– la rilevazione potente su un muro di 15 cm ha rilevato i cavi presenti nella parte opposta della parete.
– se fatto passare in pi direzioni facile capire i falsi allarmi
– va tenuto ben appoggiato alla superficie di lavoro
– la rilevazione del centro dell’oggetto molto precisa
rileva anche fili elettrici in maniera precisa.

It did not flag for electricity running through concrete at the depth given (approx 5 cm) in the description, however it flagged quite precisely for the pipe containing the electrical wires within, which was enough to get the job done. You can’t see at what depth it flags for anything, or more exactly what it is (except electricity where it’s found). Not a real pro tool but for the price i think it’s ok, i noticed no false flags.
