This small/light drill has a lot of power to tackle most jobs with ease. A joy to use.
It would have been nice to get the 2.5 ah battery instead of the 1.5 ah battery supplied.
Also a pack of srew driver bits instead of one double ended bit.
Battery life amazing!
Power. Mighty Powerful
Toughness. It can do any task!
I would highly recommend this Bosch drill for anyone! It’s a staple item for your home.
Lovely points: the LED arrow that lights up on top pointing which way the drill will go.
The wee light on the base to see if low light
The battery pack battery level indicator is good to know when your running low. Or full.
Battery charges super quick!
However, the reason i only gave 4 stars was because of the storage box supplied with the drill, it is way to big and could have been made smaller, my previous drill had a much bigger battery charger with 2 batteries but the case was only the size of this new one,
Come on Bosh you can do bette
I hope the life of the batterie’s lasts better than my old Bosch drills. I’m only a diy user so the drill is not used every day. And when you have a job to do thank god there are 2 batteries for one was on the drill and the other on the charger, till eventually one battery wouldn’t last a day. So time will tell.
Bosch quality build and performance. Batteries already charged. Sturdy case too.
Handled numerous drilling jobs (brick, plaster, wood and one metal support) around the new house with ease without needing to charge or use second battery.
The driver function is quite strong and I generally use my Bosch ixo for that aspect.
Overall I love it.
My husbands drill broke as he was using it, so I got straight onto Amazon and ordered another one for him. He is a proper handyman, and would be lost without one. We were both pleasantly surprised that he received it the next day.
He loves it. It is used permanently and everything about it is perfect. Many thanks Amazon.
Bought this to supplement a mains powered drill as I was building a large gazebo and log cabin. Not as much power as the mains machine but more than adequate for all that I needed including drilling into concrete. Not being tethered by a power lead made life so much easier. The batteries have a good working life and as long as the used one is put on charge when swapped never caused a problem.
A few pointless things such as the direction light that I ignore. However, the best bit is the chuck – why has it taken so long to develop such an easy to use chuck.
Absolutely brilliant peice of kit, after a few months I’m not sure how I managed without one, the hammer action is a great addition and certainly helps with small masonry jobs, screwdriver function also great with loads of torque setting, two batteries as well, fast charging… what more can you ask for, highly recommended.
Excellent value for such a powerful wee tool battery life very good
I like all the functions. Buy one. Great value quality tool.
Definitely would highly recommend it . Easy to use and battery life is good too.
Always reliable have two drills and a jig saw using 2 batteries
This product has all the benchmarks of hand power tools for the DIY handy perso
This is a classic BOSCH plug’n’play,
If you use it in combination with the right tools
Been wanting a battery powered drill for ages, this one is ideal, well worth the money.
Great drill, I fully charged the batteries and have used it several times without changing the battery. It’s what you would expect from Bosch.
I use this drill for all sorts of jobs it’s so handy not having to mess around with cables
Really pleased with this drill both with performance + value particularly with buying extra drill bits at the same time.
He said it’s the best drill he has had
Probably fine as a drill too but wouldn`t want to expect too much of it.
Bought it as a screwdriver and works well.
excellent bit of kit, well worth it, good features and control
Very happy with this drill, which I’ll be using daily at work. A word about the seller; I ordered on Sunday evening and it arrived the next day – absolutely fantastic !
Positives:
1. LED work light is a fantastic feature which I didn’t have before
2. comes with two batteries which is a bonus
3. light in weight
4. Price compared to other brands, although I have just seen it reduced in price from 87 which was slightly annoying
Negatives:
1. Small chuck (only takes up to 10mm diameter drills)
2. Chuck grip (drills seem to slip after a while)
3. Less power/torque than previous Ryobi drill as it had difficulty undoing screws that I had put in with the Ryobi. I haven’t used it in masonry mode yet.
It’s a great advantage to have 2 rechargeable batteries. Also comes with a sturdy case which keeps everything very tidy.
I highly recommend this Bosch drill as it is good value for the money spent.

Got this for some home diy and has been perfect for my projects
Does exactly what you would of expect of a drill in this price range. Ideal domestic tool.
Used for a few decent sized DIY projects since purchasing. Ergonomic, lightweight and battery life is good. The spare battery can be charged while you’re working meaning you have plenty of life in the drill all day. Would recommend for DIY
Like the weight and power. Have had other battery drills but none have been as powerful or such good battery life. Even drills into my concrete floor on hammer/highest drill setting. Very happy.
Really good drill. Does all that is asked of it and at an excellent price too.
I’ve used mine for about 10 jobs so far and I’ve been perfectly impressed. It’s been actually in my hand for maybe a day total. It is fine for most jobs and tolerable with patience for e.g drilling into hard stone. A solid choice for domestic use.
Wouldn’t swap this for anything else.
After a year of use this drill has been very good.
No problem with brick drilling.
Use it as a screwdriver too. Buffing the car, drilling through ceiling and joist for Ariel cable, etc
Make sure your tools are new and sharp.
Found this drill easy to use , battery has a long life, and plenty of power.
I would recommend this drill
My most used and loved tool. I am a 100% amateur DIY new build homeowner millennial. You know the sort.. anyway, this has powered through a ton of jobs from paint mixing, drilling brick/wood, screwing and the essential IKEA furniture building. Totally solid unit, quite heavy but an extra avocado on my toast in the morning and NOTHING will get in the way of getting that curtain pelmet up. Cannot comment on use by anyone under or over the age of 38. 10/10 from me. Kidding aside, Bosch gear has never let me down.
Good battery life especially coming with 2 batteries. Strong case and comfortable to hold. Definitely gets the job done I needed it fo
excellent product and the case has a load of storage spaces. my only gripe is the cardboard sticking through the case with holes. bit of gaffa tape sorted it but small drills, screws and washers could get trapped or fall out 🙁 that is my only gripe 🙂 otherwise excellent tool
Wanted a new cordless drill and this fitted the bill. Great to have 2 batteries and they last a long time. Great to have a LED light also. I wouldn’t reccommend for masonary work though, it just doesn’t have the power for this.
I have 2 of these green Bosch drills, one for drilling and a second one for screw driving, saves changing drill bits especially when up a ladder. This one is a third drill, a present for my son in his new house. Had them for several years and I’m old school,so if I payed for three of them they will more than suffice for DIYers. Light weight, build in LED, keyless chuck and pack reasonable power. Could perhaps encompass a magnetic pad for screws and a spirit level, but then I’m a perfectionist.
Used this for the first time drilling into masonry. Made light work of it and was so easy to use and lightweight. A proper powerful, lightweight handheld drill for all DIY tasks. Best option to buy in case with 2 x batteries and a great price for this drill. Highly recommend!!
just purchased the Bosch combi drill. Charging time was very quick. Very happy with the sturdy Bosch build and performance was perfect for D.I.Y. at home.
The battery life is good used a few times have not had to charge yet still using the same battery with the charge it was delivered with
I have so far used this to put up a 4m wide IKEA wardrobe and in doing so have used both the torque screwdriver and wood drilling as well. The lowest screwdriver torque setting is excellent as it stops well before doing any damage or even fully screwing in a screw into wood. This allows you to increase the torque using the twisting barrel to higher digits.
The wood drilling i had to do was really good as well and the variable speed is easy to use via the trigger and gives you confidence in the task you’re doing.
Happily recommend this and i also bought a makita bit set containing both long screw bits along with mix of drill bits for circa 18.
Purchased as a present for my brother in law. He loves it and has been using it constantly for both jobs that it should and shouldn’t be used for. Its completed everything he’s put it through. Wood, steel, brick, to name a few surfaces. Even been used to remove stuck screws and bolts…..
This cordless power drill is amazing!!
Be able to complete all of my outstanding jobs now.
Compact and with a compact screwdriver bit, so can be used as a power screwdriver aswell.
Awesome.
I bought mine with the Bosch drill bit drill set.
Both worth every penny!!
I would highly recommend this product to everyone.
The fact that I picked up the version with two batteries for 47.46 warehouse deal, is the icing on the cake.
This is an excellent drill driver. Lightweight and easy to use with a second battery that can be useful at times of heavy use. Lota of diiferent settings for drill/driver settings plus a hammer drill functions. The only downside is that very occasionally the chuck becomes loose and the drill or driver bit falls out, otherwise this is a really good drill. well worth the cost.
I don’t write a review until I have used the item for a good while! I have had this drill over a year and it is great! Some say it won’t drill in to masonry! I don’t know what you are doing, as my one does and I can’t believe how long it goes without charge! I have used this for days on end without needing to recharge it! Masonry is no problem at all for my drill, perhaps some have been unlucky!
Great piece of kit!!
I’m makita fan but i can Bosch is also amazing same quality i will recommend to buy this product and maybe i will buy this product as a gift for my father. Thank you Mr. Seller.
Wow! So impressed with this. First things first, I’m a 30-something female who has neither owned nor operated any drill (cordless or electric) before. I had some fence panels that needed put up & after being quoted a stupid amount by tradesmen thought I might as well buy a drill & give it a bash myself. The fact I was able to not only operate this but do it successfully and actually find the whole thing quite therapeutic was just amazing. I had 82 fence panels/slats to put up with multiple screws each and the first battery is still 2/3rds charged! I am now keen to see what other uses I can put this too & honestly can’t recommend enough. I’m a novice, yes, but hoping this review will help someone in my situation!
I wish I’d got this years ago, as screwing and unscrewing is so simple and quick that it would have made things so much quicker and less painful over the years. Having a spare battery is really useful, saving you having to wait to recharge when the first one runs out. The light seems like a gimmick, but other than that, I can’t fault this drill at all. I bought this specifically to put up decking and its support and never had any problem whatsoever.
Had a 10 year old version of this and the batteries are long gone. Got this as a replacement and it is brilliant. It almost acts as an impact driver on screwdriver mode (assume not as powerful as an actual impact driver) which is great for what I need it for. Battery lasts ages and as it came with two, I am never short. Got this on a deal; v happy with what I paid in the end.
If the drill keeps slipping and not spinning, ensure the top selector is fully engaged – it does have a habit of getting knocked and sitting between the two modes.
After my previous drill packed up I bought this as having 2 batteries and a good deal on a prime day. Am really impressed so far and battery life seems ok but not fully tested it out yet. Certainly poweful enough and a lot lighter than my od one. I like the one for all battery so can buy other items in the range that use te same battery so when I need to will definitely consider Bosch for other items in this range. Very pleased so far.
Some people left comments on it would not drill masonry that is not true I use it for wood and masonry and don’t have any problems forget how to drill brick with a electric drill this is a battery so drill and pull out slightly then reapply pressure plus make sure your drill bits are in good working order and if you use it alot invest in extra batteries
Good weight, great battery life and the second battery is really useful. I bought this with the reciprocating saw which didn’t come with a battery or charger and both did me well for a 3m x 5m decking project. Would recommend
