I like the stability and flexibility of this product. Easy to use and great for working from home. I’ve had some on the past that we’re not as flexible and some that broke due to a lack of durability. This one is very sturdy and you can move it to different angles and height.

It’s a solid stand that does not move when you don’t want it to. Yes you have to use both hands to move it but I would rather that than my 16″ MacBook crashing to the desk!

I purchased this because I have a heavy duty 17″ laptop and the stand is not only proving sufficiently study to support it (my main reason for purchasing) but I’ve noticed that it improves airflow so well that my laptop fan doesn’t need to activate anywhere as much as it used to in order to cool the processor down.

Good product, well made. I don’t agree with other reviews that the stand is ‘too stiff’ to adjust. I have no issues and if it were more flexible then it simply wouldn’t be suited to large, heavy laptops.

This is a great stand for the laptop – best I’ve ever used. (There is just one tiny niggle, which is that I wish it had a notch on the platform part between the two raised edges where the laptop rests. Then I could pick up the laptop with one hand.)

Sturdy stand which supports Lenovo work laptop. As others have mentioned it can be stiff to move, but I guess this is by design as the stand feels solid and supports the laptop well. Would recommend

I saw one of these being used by a grandchild, and decided to buy one for myself. I have regular Zoom or Teams meetings, and have been putting my laptop on a pile of books to get the camera in the correct position. With this stand, I can easily have the laptop at the correct height, and it is still easy to type on the keyboard if I need to.

Spent ages trawling through Amazon for a decent portable screen stand as I need 2 screens for my laptop and not a stand that just points the screen at my chest. Even searching pictures on Google didn’t produce what I needed as portability was essential. Amazingly there were no pictures of this stand fully raised up as a monitor stand, but just any amount in a laptop stand configuration. Admittedly a bit of the stand pokes up above this 15inch widescreen and I certainly recommend a bit of velcro attaching monitor to stand and another from table to stand if you’re going to open the stand as extremely wide and high as this, but I’m well pleased with this solution.

Works great as a screen monitor stand

Brilliant stand. Bit expensive but so glad I spent a bit extra and bought this one. Very strong and robust. Will last a very long time in my opinion. You can adjust height and angle to suit you. Immediately improves your posture compared to using the laptop on a flat surface. If using in a dual screen set up you can adjust height perfectly to match your second monitor. Excellent buy!

It’s very sturdy and stable. The only thing missing is that it does not go high enough to work standing comfortably, if you try, it will become a bit unbalanced.

I for one am guilty of hunching over a laptop and then wondering why my shoulders are aching. Working from home the only person assessing my “work station” is me and this was long overdue. Immediate difference in my posture using this so my laptop is raised – I then added a bluetooth keyboard at desk height so my working position is far better than it was. This is a great quality product, lightweight and looks sleek. I’ve not had it long so can’t comment on the durability (there are no locking screws to maintain height). So far so good, very pleased with this purchase, which actually, now I am sitting better is making me more productive!

This is great, it’s strong yet light. It doesn’t slowly slide out of position, it stays put at the angle you adjust it to. Made of strong metal and a stylish design. Money well spent. What I’d recommend you do is buy a cordless USB keyboard to use with it, and have the screen at a good eye-level height.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI like this stand and I like that it comes it different colours. I looked to get any stand to stop my bad posture when working from home. I have one desk monitor and used the laptop screen as a second monitor, however it was beginning to hurt my neck and shoulders as it wasn’t the same height.

I was going to get a cheaper stand but decided to get one that was sturdy and adjustable. The reviews were good so I got this one.

It is sturdy, fairly weighty and importantly, it’s adjustable. The first time I raised it and put the laptop on it was a bit wobbly. However I realised adjusting it by one side at a time made it unbalanced. Raising it from the middle stopped that. I would say though that if you are using the laptop keyboard, it does feel like the laptop will tip the stand backwards when standing. I use a separate keyboard and mouse so this doesn’t really affect me.

In all though it’s a good stand and will fit in a bag to use on the go.

    Nice desk stand

Made from quality materials, sturdy and stable. It’s so stable that it’s actually quite difficult to adjust the height and angles. Not really an issue for me and it reassures me that the stand won’t collapse given time or under the weight of the laptop. Wouldn’t be ideal for anyone with grip or strength issues however.

Very pleased with this well made unit. All the edges are smooth. It has thin rubber padding in all the right places. It is also quite stiff at the joints, so no chance of it collapsing under the weight. It is also one of the few available in different colours, which was important for me as I wanted a black one.

This has proved a very good purchase. I use it with the MacBook 16″ (2021) and the build quality and design are appropriately fine. The height can be changed to suit but will not sink or slip by itself. I’ve now bought another for a friend!

Golden Review Award: 139 From Our UsersI’m currently trying to get a set up so that I can use my elderly but upgraded and adequate laptop for general PC tasks rather than my desktop which is massively overpowered and wasteful of electricity for such things (although it does heat my office quite nicely!)

I thought I may as well get a stand like this so that I could use both the laptop screen and my main monitor when needed and it puts the laptop screen at a much more neck friendly height. I use an external keyboard so this works.

I liked that colours other than Apple silver were available since my laptop is grey. It’s not a perfect match of course, but looks pretty OK.

The stand is really well made (I’m an engineer by background and quite fussy). It’s fairly simple cut and bent aluminium alloy, but the arms/struts are nicely milled. There are no sharp or rough edges and the paint finish is good with a very slight hammered look.

Rubber pads are present on the main plate which goes underneath your laptop and on the lips which stick up at the front to hold it. Laptop goes on easily and feels very secure.

I don’t know what type of pivots they use on the arms/struts. I’m not going to be opening closing mine much so longevity of these is not a concern. They are very stiff which is perfect for my use, but not so great if you were planning to take this places with you a lot.

Could do with the logo being less prominent , but that’s about the only downside I can find.

FWIW, I have also bought a powered USB hub (Sabrent) with loads of ports to attach all my peripherals and then I have two USB 3.0 cables. One for the laptop, one for the desktop, so it’s easy to swap between the two and have all peripherals swapped from one PC to the other.

Reviews are right - this is a cracking item. Choice of colours useful.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersA great product! It is a little stiff when first trying to set it to the correct height for me. However, it is sturdy and stable and overall a fantastic laptop stand/riser. It has allowed me to increase the height of my laptop so that my neck no longer hurts from looking down at the screen on my desk. I have a separate keyboard and mouse that I use. Would recommend this laptop stand. It was recommended to me by my work colleague and I am pleased with the purchase. Good quality, a little expensive but worth it!

I was so impressed with the first one that I purchased a second my other laptop 🙂

One laptop is a fairly beefy 15 inch laptop and the other is a tiny 13 inch ultrabook. The stand works equally well for both and allows me to position both exactly how I needed them.

No signs at all of sagging. Top marks.

It was cheap, so I expected cheap. I didn’t expect quality and strength. It raised as high as I expected, it’s sturdy and strong and everything I thought it would have been.

What I didn’t expect is the customer service, checking in and making sure everything was okay. Full warranty, and great service. I’m definitely looking for this supplier again as I kit my office.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a thing of pure beauty, the build quality is absolutely fantastic, its not especially heavy, but robust enough to withstand a 17″ Acer laptop. Yes, it is a little stiff to adjust, but better that way than a little softer, . You will probably find once you are comfortable with your chosen position, you’ll end up leaving it in that position. I purchased a Bluetooth keyboard & mouse to use in front of a huge 32″ monitor, and I just simply juggle between the two depending on what I want to do.

  51. LeonieOrta says:

Much sturdier than anticipated, especially given the flexibility. Holds a Macbook Pro 16 in place well despite the laptop being much wider than the stand, and the rubbery grips ensure it doesn’t slide around at all. Also like the shape of the legs allowing you to thread cables through. Although note that if your desk wobbles even slightly, this will be amplified tenfold on your laptop screen with every small shake, tap, or footsteps on creaky floorboards.

This is the second time I’ve bought a stand, as the first was too short. I am 5’6″ so this is perfect. This one is very adjustable and takes up little space, allowing me to work with the small desk I have. I’m very pleased with it! It seems sturdy and almost perfectly matches the rose gold MacBook Air I have. One complaint would be the visible company logo in large letters as it takes away from tue aesthetic. Smaller font on the underside would be preferred.

    Really happy with it!

Golden Review Award: 130 From Our UsersI liked this stand when I received it but within a few moments I knew it had a critical flaw. Please see below a list of pros and cons and a bottom line:

    Pros:
    + Sturdy
    + Fashionable
    + Does Not Wobble
    + Can bear weight easily
    + Looks and feels professional

    Cons:
    – Somewhat difficult to adjust; my partner had a hard time with it
    – If the adjustment loosens or gets weak there is no was to manually fix it
    – it is bulky – you wont want to travel with this- it is a little larger than a macbook 13 in

Bottom Line: This could be good- a sturdy stand that allows you to adjust with no grooves or notches- but should the tension that keeps the adjustment strong start to fail there would be no way to fix it- its also bulky to the point where you wouldn’t want to take it with you anywhere.

I purchased this lap top stand to free up space on my desk and to allow me to take between home and the office.
First impressions are great. Looks great, stylish, feels robust and looks pretty neat.
I can fold it down and it fits in my laptop bag with the laptop. It may feel a bit bulky in the bag but definitely worth being able to take between home and office so easily.
It is very sturdy and stiff when folding out to desired position and back down again, I suppose it needs to be to avoid having tightening bolts.
Overall I am pretty pleased with this stand so far.

Golden Review Award: 113 From Our UsersA well made sturdy stand for my Dell XPS15 9575 laptop. The stand is well engineered and made out of a high grade aluminium. The clutches on the rise and fall mechanism hold the laptop firmly in position and even with the stand fully extended there is minimum wobble of the screen. It is easy to adjust and stays in place with no slippage. Once adjusted to the height and angle required there is very little strain on wrists and arms making it a joy to use over long periods of time.

Of the many different stands available, this one stands out from the crowd and an added bonus is that it folds flat with minimum weight for easy transport.

I would thoroughly recommend this product and am looking forward to many years of use.

I got the BoYata laptop stand to improve posture and help neck pain/stiffness from looking down at a laptop screen for hours. This is a game changer. With the BoYata stand and a wireless keyboard, I have a whole new ergonomical set-up so that I am sitting straight and the top of the screen is at eye level. The BoYata stand is high quality, elegant and matches my silver Mac laptop perfectly. It is stiff to move such that once it is in the perfect position there is no risk of it shifting position or collapsing. I leave it set up all the time as it doesn’t take up any more desk space than the laptop itself, and the separate keyboard fits perfectly in the gap underneath. Very pleased!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this product based on the reviews and I haven’t been disappointed. I needed to improve my posture by buying a new stand and separate keyboard for my laptop. This stand looks good and is really stable. It is indeed a little stiff to adjust but that’s the beauty of it – it doesn’t collapse on you!! My previous stand was portable and collapsible – great for moving around but not sturdy enough to avoid mishaps. I have a neat little wireless keyboard that fits nicely underneath it when not in use. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersReally pleased with this purchase. The stand is very solid, the joints are firm, so no chance of the stand sagging in normal use. The while thing feels like a premium item.

I was especially pleased with the height of the hooks at the front, they extend upwards approx. 2cm from the base, rather than the 1.5 cm height specified by a lot of other similar products. This is important, as my laptop as an upward curved profile along its front edge and so could possibly slip over the hooks if they were not quite tall enough. No danger of that here.

I also like the silicone padded surfaces which not only act as anti-slip support, but also prevent the laptop from being scratched.

    Excellent overall.

Golden Review Award: 129 From Our UsersA very sturdy and stable laptop support, we are using it with an acer 14″ chromebook so not a massive weight but it holds it well with no slippage of laptop or if holder on the desk. We like that we can adjust height as well as tilt and there is no wobble. The lugs that hold the laptop in place at the front do not protrude above the height of the chromebook so they don’t effect the comfort of typing but I guess that depends how slim your laptop is…

We were prepared to buy a wifi keyboard but there is no need as this stand isn’t wobbling when my daughter is typing, which is brilliant, especially considering the amount of typing she’s doing during lockdown. Its a massive improvement on the old one and so much more comfortable for her wrists and back.

Its a big thumbs up from us

  64. SidneyEtienne says:

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersThis laptop stand is one of the sturdiest I’ve encountered. Not only is it sturdy from its all metal construction, the design allows for a lot of flexibility in height adjustment. I’m over 6 foot and it’s often difficult to find stands that bring laptop screens to eye level but this one is ideal!

The base does take up some desk real estate but it’s not too thick so you can still have things stored on the base underneath the laptop (e.g. books or stationary).

There are pads on the stand and the bits holding the laptop on that stop any potential scratches which is good given the all metal design.

I use this with my 2.5Kg razor 15 laptop and have no issues with it sagging or moving. In fact its so stiff I take my laptop off the stand to adjust the angle or height. I fear if i attempt to adjust the height with the laptop on, I’ll break my laptop with the ammount of force i need to apply.
This is good thing if you wish to adjust it and leave it on a specific position (as I do), as it will never move.
If you need to adjust the angle and position all the time, be aware that you will likely not be able to do this easily with the laptop still on the stand.

I’ve been using this stand for 6m now (since the start of covid-19 lock down) and I love it. It is well designed, solid & stable. I use it with separate keyboard. The purpose for me is to raise the laptop screen to eye level alongside my other standalone screen. It does this perfectly, it means that I am looking forward rather than down, and it has resolved my regular neck pains. And I love its aesthetics, it is elegant and beautiful to look at. Yes it is a bit stiff to change the orientation, but thats the point – you don’t want it to move around on its own.

  67. Anonymous says:

Golden Review Award: 148 From Our UsersThis is beautifully made, it stays put at whatever angle one chooses. It’s elegant (not that I need that ‘cos it’s sitting on my kitchen table). So what’s not to like, why only 4 stars?
1 It’s a little bit awkward if one wants to use the laptop’s keyboard – the little lugs which stop the lap top from sliding down are just bit too prominent and get slightly in the way. So if you plan to do a lot of. typing you’ll need a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad.
    2. It IS , as others have said, very very stiff to open and adjust. I realise it has to be because that’s what keeps it in place even if you lean on it to type I’ve got it set up pretty much as it will be for a while. I also wonder whether the friction which holds it in place will fade if one keeps adjusting it. BUT IF you plan to keep moving it or adjusting it then you might want to explore other products (other makes use keys and/or ratchets to keep the platforms at the correct angle).

Golden Review Award: 129 From Our UsersI bought another similar (cheaper) item but that didn’t get the laptop screen quite high enough to be level with my eyes. I am 5’7″. I bought this one for my son who is 5’10” and it’s great. We could adjust it so he can sit perfectly straight and still have the screen level with his eyes. Just what he needed to sort his posture! And I have bought one for me now too as working from home looks like it’s here to stay for a while yet!
It is so sturdy and because the platform is lifted away from the base, you have room under your laptop to store items or just have a feeling of more space. I love it!

When I had to start using a work laptop from home I needed to get the laptop screen to the same height as the separate monitor. None of the stands I could get from work could do that unless I stood them on a pile of books. This stand is perfect in that is is strong, easily adjusted and safely holds the laptop so the screen is exactly the same height as the monitor. There is plenty of space underneath for placing the keyboard when working with paper, airflow is great. I’m very pleased indeed.

Heavy but not too heavy, doesn’t feel flimsy at all
Very stiff, when you move it into the positon you need, it’s not going to move

    Cons:

Honestly at a stretch, the only con I can think of is that the logo on the base looks a little tacky but it’s relatively subtle so won’t really be an issue. If it had an Apple logo on it, it would be 10x the price but the same build quality!

I’ll be buying a 3rd when they are on offer again for sure.

    Seriously high quality, wow!

Golden Review Award: 146 From Our UsersI have been working from home the last few months due to the current pandemic. Initially I tried using my laptop on my desk and realised that was causing back ailments. I then improvised using a cookery book stand that i requisitioned from the kitchen: this was a lot better but still not the perfect height.

So I did lots of research and saw that many stands looked flimsy, unaesthetic, and not sturdy. The Boyata that I ordered from Amazon arrived within two days: amazing speedy delivery. It’s superb! It matches the look of my MacBook Air very well. It has great ventilation at the back to prevent overheating. It oozes sturdiness (you could use it as a weapon to knock someone out!) and looks good on the desk. The brand logo is etched on the front; some reviewers have complained about its prominence, but I”m led to wonder if they complain about an Apple logo; I have no problem with it, and maybe people just need to get over seeing a foreign sounding name on a product.

But most importantly, it does what it is designed to do: to support a laptop at a designated height. As other reviewers have pointed out, the friction joints are stiff, but they need to be so that, once set to chosen height, there is no risk of accidental movement or sagging. One point to note as a result, and, again, others are right to point this out, is that once you have it set just leave it on the desk for the next time you use it; don’t fold it away. It certainly CAN be folded away, but it’s then going to take longer to unfold it and to re-locate your ideal position.

Regarding ideal position of adjustment, I have found that the stand doesn’t need to be anywhere as high as you initially might think. The bottom arm is bette placed as close to horizontal as possible for you; that way, there is no risk of the weight of your laptop tipping the stand over backwards.

If you buy this stand, it comes with a card that allows you to register for an extra one year’s warranty (making it two years in total), which is clearly a good thing. I am assuming that the manufacturer will support the item in all meaningful ways.

Going forward, there are two things that the desingners might want to consider in tweaking the design. One is to maybe make the joints accessible by the user so that they can be tightened (if necessary) over the long term. The second, and one that I consider more important, is that I think the front edge should be an upwards ledge so that there is no risk of one’s laptop ever sliding forward: this hasn’t happened to me, but I can see that (if one were in a rush) it could: an upsweeping lip would prevent this. I hope this constructive feedback will be taken on board.

Overall, I cannot think of a better laptop stand that I could have found to allow me to use my laptop on my desk., so I recommend this product without qualification.

Needed something for laptop as the fan was getting a bit overheated. I have a separate screen that I use so this really is just to rest my laptop on. It’s sturdy and is easy to move up and down. Not too big or in the way. I can see how it is easy to use directly- ie type on the laptop keyboard- so might try that if I need the big screen out of the way. A bit of the pricey side if you compare it with others but I prefer something that is good quality and this looks to be it. Also read many reviews – of this make and others – and happy with purchasing this one.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAt first I thought this was a little pricey and was considering opting for a new large flexible monitor but glad I persisted.

After working remotely for many weeks I have to say this has been a revelation. No more sore back/neck after constantly peering down for Zoom/Teams meetings. I’ve paired this with a nice wireless keyboard and mouse and my setup looks and functions great.

The unit itself is very adjustable so imagine it’s quite forgiving regardless of your desk and chair height. The arms are quite stiff but this lends to the stability. The unit firmly holds my laptop (MacBook pro 2019 13″) with no wobbles and allows a perfect viewing angle for VCs and touch typing.

Best money I’ve spent for my home office yet.

Saves a pain in the neck

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersThis is actually better than I thought it was going to be. It’s very sturdy and nicely made. The packaging was awesome… it shipped in a custom made bubble bag that I was so impressed with I’ve kept in the hope I can repurpose for something. My laptop has a 14in screen and this sits nicely on the stand, overlapping each side by about an inch or so. The height range is impressive, you can actually get your laptop screen right up to your eyeline (which I know is the point) but you can also alter the angle of the top plate so you can still use the laptop keyboard if you wish. I prefer to use a separate bluetooth keyboard and this slots neatly under the laptop when not in use so you dont lose any desk space. I actually find this quite handy for moving location as I can stow my pad, keyboard and mouse on the base plate and then grab the top plate and my laptop together and move everything in one go. I’ve docked one star as I think it’s a bit overpriced but that might have been due to the fact that I bought this during the COVID-19 lockdown (supply and demand and all that…). Overall, if you work regularly from a laptop you really should invest in a riser for the sake of your back and you wont be disappointed in this one.

I bought this to use with my Dell XPS 15 9570 laptop. I have recently bought a 27″ monitor and required a stand for my laptop so I could essentially use my laptop as a second monitor.

So far, so good. It’s sturdy, stable and well finished. The rubber pads attached to the brackets protect my laptop from scratches. The stands’ hinges are stiff, which I feel is a good thing as once I have the laptop screen in position it doesn’t move. If the price point was lower I would give it 5 stars. Since it’s 50 i feel it’s a little pricey.
However, in my experience you generally get what you pay for.

This feels like a very strong, sturdy and high quality product. As far as I’m concerned it justifies the price as a premium product.
I was expecting some form of tightening bolt/clamp to adjust the angles, but it seems the joints are stiff enough that after you have pushed them into place they stay put. I hope that they maintain that strength over time, as at the moment it’s holiding my laptop up perfectly. The lip at the front to stop the laptop sliding off seems a good height and is doing the job as it should.
I really like this, it is sturdy, stable, strong and looks good. Because it is so sturdy and made from metal, it is not lightweight. If you need something lightweight then this is not the product for you, but personally that is not an issue because I don’t want to carry this around with my laptop anyway – it is for sitting on my desk for when I’m working on my laptop in my usual location. Would gladly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 153 From Our UsersSurprisingly light as it’s made of aluminium, but feels robust. The hinges are incredibly stiff, which means that there is zero chance of the platform sagging when in use and is also stable enough to type on if needed. Don’t expect this to be a stand you can adjust easily on the fly or collapse and put away daily, once you’ve got it setup, you’re going to want to leave it in place.

The platform is deep enough to support a 15″ Microsoft Surfacebook with no risk of it tipping backwards and has some nice soft pads to cushion the underside of your laptop. The base of the unit also has pads to avoid scratching your desk and is big enough to provide a stable platform.

Only thing I really dislike is that the company name (BoYata) is laser etched on the leading edge of the base, which makes the whole thing look a bit cheap, which is a shame as it’s a great product other than that. This and the relatively high cost loses it a star, but overall a recommended product.

My immediate impression was that it could be an Apple product if not for the large white BoYata logo on the base plate. In fact, that logo is the only criticism I have of the product – I’d prefer it to be embossed somewhere more subtle than dominating the front of the product.

The mechanism is quite stiff and requires some effort to reposition the arms, but it certainly feels like it can hold a lot of weight without moving out of position. The Grey colour is a great match for my Space Grey Macbook Pro.

I have to say it’s better than I expected, and the reviews I read before buying were all very positive.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersI bought this for homeworking. I needed to elevate my laptop to relieve pressure on my shoulders and bad posture.
The size is perfect and it supports my 17inch HP zbook well. Infact, it can hold heavier laptops with no problem.
I like that it is sturdy and you have to apply a bit of pressure to adjust the height. This means that it does not easily ‘fall’ out of place and stays in the position you needed. However, I have attempted to change the position whilst my laptop as on the stand and did not have a problem doing so. Once you know the amount of pressure to use it is quite easy. I just might order another on for my monitor.

Fantastic laptop riser / stand. The stand is entirely made of aluminium – which looks excellent and is very sturdy. The joints of the stand require some force to adjust but are firmly in place when adjusted – no screen wobble when typing. The range of adjustment is very good too, I imagine it would suit people of any height.

There are soft silicon pads on all surfaces which touch the laptop and on the bottom – so no chance of scratching aluminium laptops or the work surface.

Fits our 13″ and 15″ laptops perfectly.

This is a massive improvement on the plastic Kensington laptop riser – better adjustment range, sturdiness and looks. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Sturdy premium laptop stand

Golden Review Award: 115 From Our UsersThis is a very high quality robust adjustable stand. I wanted a more ergonomic dual screen setup with laptop and separate monitor at eye level and this stand is just perfect to help good posture. It’s made from solid aluminium and fully height and angle adjustable. The hinges are very stiff but that is a good thing and means the adjusted height/angle stays put. The base plate is large enough to accommodate up to large workstation class laptops for example. I am using my stand with a 14in Thinkpad and this fits perfectly. There is a large hole in the base plate for ventilation and silicon non slip pads. The whole setup is very solid indeed without any wobble and you could even type on the laptop if you ever had to. Recommended.

    A wonderful little device!!!

If folds up nicely, highest quality materials, very strong, don’t imagine this ever breaking!

It really is just right for the job.

A warning would be: don’t knock it back. While it’s super sturdy, if you think about it… A heavy laptop could only be held down on such a high platform if its base was heavier than it! That’s just science! So… basically, at higher height, it may tip back if knocked. So I’d keep something behind it or adjust angle or laptop until it’s balanced and virtually cannot fall!

But that’s no testament to the product! The product is top of its kind and I’d recommend to all. The lightness and portability make this great for everyday use! Just grab a wireless keyboard and mouse (pref. Rechargeable) and your off to go!

Golden Review Award: 146 From Our UsersDevice is stiff to setup, and I would say suitable for most people’s eye line.
Brings the screen up, leaving lots of room underneath to store your keyboard.
I would say once you find your height just leave it, don’t know how well it would cope with constant adjustments.
It lost a star, just because of the stiffness of setting up, but it does what it does well. Looks good,
Could easily handle a bigger laptop than a MacBook Pro (thunderbolt 3) 15″ model.
Worked fine with also a 2012 15″ MacBook Pro retina and a 2013 13″ MacBook Pro retina.
Neither the 13″ or 15″ cover the whole stand.

Bring it up to the eye line

Golden Review Award: 115 From Our UsersA very impressive product on a very reasonable price. It is made entirely of aluminium and although it is quite a size the foldable design makes it very versatile. The only thing I can probably pull on the down size is that the arm that holds are very stiff but it makes it feel more solid as well so again it is a very minor thing. I use it with the iPad Pro 11 and 13″ MacBook Pro Touchbar and they both work perfectly. One of the best purchases of the year so far although would have loved it in space grey!!!!

    Built like a tank!

Golden Review Award: 178 From Our UsersI was incredibly surprised with the quality of the item when I received it. I had tried a few generic laptop stands previous and they always seemed either too cheap in materials used, flimsy, looked rubbish etc.

This BoYata stand is excellent quality and I’d say it wouldn’t be out of place in the apple store itself – but then it would cost well over 100! in all seriousness, the tightness of the hinges is just right and the adjustability is perfect meaning you can easily get the perfect height and perfect tilt for any situation. The top deck has neoprene pads so at no point is the MacBook metal to metal meaning you don’t need to worry.

The colour of it is really similar to the standard apple aluminium finish, my MacBook is finished in space grey, but it still looks great on the stand.

Ive already had a few compliments on co workers who’ve noticed it!

A first class product that for what I paid seems to be too cheap! Its a quality product, similar to Apple quality for next to nothing. Don’t waste your time on other stands, this is brilliant!

Incredible quality - An ideal match to my Apple Mac Book Pro 13" Touch Ba

Golden Review Award: 165 From Our UsersI purchased the larger laptop holder for two reasons: 1) I have an 18″ Toshiba Satellite which is pretty big and 2) I wanted the stand with the large central hole for cooling the laptop which gets hot pretty quickly.

The laptop fits perfectly safely on the stand and stays cool, so reasons 1) and 2) are both catered for.

Why did I buy the stand in the first place? Again, 2 reasons: 1) Because I needed my laptop screen more at eye level to prevent me having to tip my head back to see through the bottom half of my varifocal glasses, and subsequently suffering from a stiff neck and shoulders. 2) I wanted a standard keyboard because the Toshiba laptop one is not angled correctly for me, and is quite unresponsive unless you bash the keys. As a touch typist, I need a keyboard that instantly responds to a light and very fast touch. Only having very limited desk space meant I had no room for another keyboard.
By buying the stand I achieved both points. See photos showing the standard Microsoft keyboard tucked away under the laptop, freeing up desk space for writing etc., and pulled forward to type with.

The stand takes a bit of muscle power to get to the correct height, but once there, it doesn’t move and not having to fiddle with adjusting screws or knobs is a bonus.

The stand is solidly made of an attractive silver matt finished metal, with stoppers in the front to prevent the laptop sliding off, with rubber pads on them to protect the edge of the laptop. There are also 4 rubber (or silicone) pads on the platform to add secure grip to the laptop.

As this particular stand was only released recently, I pre0ordered it, but it still arrived earlier than the estimated date, extremely well packaged.

I would definitely recommend this stand.

    Transformed my working space

Golden Review Award: 90 From Our UsersI just received the stand, so couldn’t vouch for the durability. First impression, though: it’s excellent. Looks classy – much more expensive than it is – and carries my 17″ laptop with ease. No assembly, either – just pull the bits apart and presto!

    Highly recommended.
