Large capacity – they “finish off” my very small kitchen whereas my brother and his wife have a much larger kitchen but have chosen to get by with three small hidden away plastic bins. so are constantly having to empty them. I can bet by with a week at a time to coincide with the emptying of the Refuse Room (I live in a Retirement Flat) albeit I wrap food waste in clingfilm to minimise the smell. My cleaner decided that she would not pay so much for bins but I suspect that she regrets this now she has seen mine. You get what you pay for.
The bin was great when prices were sensible.
I wouldn’t currently recommend it as the bags are really expensive.

It’s a classic. This is the third one of these I’ve owned over the past few years. Ex-wives have the other two! Looks great in the kitchen and has huge capacity. Easy to clean and the lid is so simple. I love it.

Very expensive for a bin but worth long term. The volume is key to the bin. Used to change my old bin everyday but this bin with its h size bag only change every 3 days.
It is very good quality, and looks smart. These make of bins are guaranteed for 10 years, our last one just stopped opening with the touch lid after 16 years, hope this one lasts as long, good value for money.
The bin is huge and it has a large opening so you don’t often contact the bin sides when putting rubbish in it. I got the no fingerprints one and it’s exactly that, looks good all the time, just a wipe now and then. If you are going to have a bin on show in your lovely kitchen, get a good one that doesn’t rip the bag to ribbons when you try to remove it. It’s big, it’s good, it’s worth spending a bit more to get a good one.

Very solid bin ..so good I got 2 ..1 for recycling and 1 for everyday rubbish ..both bins hold quite a lot…good size and bin bags fill easily..very easy to clean and lids don’t get smug marks on them ..would definitely recommend

I like the capacity of this bin, and the fact the surface leaves no fingerprints. Easy to clean and would always recommend Brabantia, in my opinion the best! Expensive, but ‘you get what you pay for’ which is always worth it!
Best bin I have ever owned it is sturdy, easy to clean and good value for money. It takes ages to fill up with rubbish and holds a lot and because of the size of the bin bags it takes up less amount of room in my wheelie bin. You also get a few bags with the bin which is a nice extra, I keep buying the bin bags too as they are strong and fit compact. I’d highly recommend this bin.

The lid and general width is massive. I thought I was getting a typical bin, but its huge! Looks good though but only if you have a large kitchen which I do
This bin is quality from top to bottom. The hinge and lid opening mechanism feels turdy and made from quality plastic rather than the brittle cheap stuff. Well worth the extra money.
My last Brabantia bin lasted 20yrs. Hoping this one does the same. Great bins. Smooth working lid.
I have had other cheaper bins that rip the bags when emptying, thus was doesn’t. You can fit loads in it as well. Would have been 5 it had not been so expensive

Replaced an older Brabantia Touch Bin with this model, which is the same capacity but with a much better closing catch and much better value than the alternative more expensive model. Certainly recommend this offer.
I love brabantia bins there worth every penny I had my last bin twenty Year only replaced because I dropped the lid and broke the lock. The price hasn’t got up that much either.

I purchased this bin from the Amazon Warehouse, I am so glad I did – saved quite a bit of money and the condition was exactly as described. Redecorated the Kitchen recently so treated myself to this bin. Its a great size and the lid that just opens and closes at a touch is a game-changer….
As others have mentioned before, it is just a bin but I really like it. It contains far more waste than my previous bin and the touch opening lid is useful (although a bit scared it might eventually not work with wear and tear). I would advise buying the Brabantia bin liners to go with it though. Not cheap but a really good buy for sturdiness and look. Would recommend.

Arrived quickly. Good packaging and excellent price for a fantastic bin. Have had this make before and it lasted really well. Ordered a different make with automatic sensory open and close for change and it was rubbish! Will never go with any other make from now on. Was fed up with my 30l bin and having to empty it all the time. Upgraded to this one and highly impressed. easy to clean and fits in well with my kitchen. Fantastic quality as has become the norm for Brabantia. I use it with the proper bin bags but see no reason why black bags could not be used.

The bin is lovely except I want to send it back as it has a mark on it. The problem is that I requested a collection two days ago and was told someone had to be home, so we’ve stayed in for two whole days and nobody has come and I can find no other way to tell Amazon that I need this collected, as they will not return the money until they receive it back.
