A Goldilocks sized board with adjustable height. Its sturdy and stable. There is a clip on the underside that hold the legs when its folded- easy to pull the legs out of it before you set up each time, but it stops the legs from unfolding whilst you’re moving it. The iron holder is generous for my conventional steam iron. Well padded, smooth surface. Very happy with it.

A solid, well designed ironing board. Esp like the clothes rest underneath. The iron rest is very fiddly. I still haven’t figured it out. Can’t really rest hot iron upright without resting it at least partly on rubber. Instrutions here would help.

I like the colour and the design of this product. It fits in well with the colour-scheme of my room.
More importantly, it is sturdy and supports the iron. It is height-adjustable which is perfect for me, as a 6ft 3 person, so means there is no strain on my back by having to lean forward, etc.

I had a large ironing board for many years and was trying to achieve the same standard i.e. large ironing space, sturdy and easy to handle. This is good in all these respects with the additional feature of different heights – very good if you suffer with back ache!

Slightly heavier and bigger than used to, but much more robust and efficient. Perfect for what I needed. Love it.
This ironing table is simply the best value for money you can get. I gulped at the price initially but when it arrived i instantly fell in love and pulled all the clothes out to re-Iron them. You won’t be disappointed it’s truly epic!!

Prior to buying this, we bought an Addis ironing board from a shop in town. We took it straight back to the shop because it was flimsy and unstable to the point of being dangerous.
By comparison, this is a decent well made item sturdy and stable. Worth the money and we would recommend it.

Amazon was unbelievable. My ironing board was lost twice but Amazon apologised as it had been lost in transit. and it arrived the day after I let them know it was lost. The following day it arrived I was delighted. Thank you Amazon.

Also the legs are level and I have found it easy and stable to use even on my tiled kitchen floor where my previous board would slide around. Happy with this item.

A very good board from a very good company. Very stable on our kitchen floor. Useful bit on the end for hot iron to rest on. It should last as long as our old board – 30 years plus.

There is a distinction in how the iron is held up on the board which works well for a right hander (me) but not so if you are left handed (wife). I didn’t realise this until purchased. It’s a slight inconvenience and odd that this big vendor would not consider this in the design.

Read reviews about wonky legs which made me unsure about buying. Mine isn’t wonky. It is a sold ironing board which is lightweight for me to manoeuvre. It’s long, it has a good cover which has cut down the ironing time as I think it reflects the heat back into the clothes. Glad I got it.
Easier to close than my previous brabantia which I had had for approximately 11 years. It accommodates my generator iron with ease and it raises to the level as recommended by my G.P. due to a shoulder problem. Ideal for anyone with upper limb problems, easier to carry than my old one.
This ironing board is great!! After a lot of research, I feel I made the right choice. I do alot of ironing for other people so I needed something robust and big for doing king size bedding. It has 7 height settings and the top one is really high so no back ache!! It is quite heavy but I like that as its very sturdy, would only be a problem if you needed to move it around the house. Gets a thumbs up from me 🙂

Despite initial impressions, on using it I am quite happy. It comfortably supports a large Tefal steam iron (heavy when the tank is full). With the iron in place, the board feels reasonably sturdy. So having used it a few times, I’m liking it a bit more than I thought I would when it was first unpacked.
One of the black protective caps is missing from one of the legs. Please can you send it as this would be easier than returning the ironing board.

Nice ironing board at good price. Although the mechanism comes out of its runner fairly easily when unfolding and is a pain to put back in so always have to be careful when opening it up.

I am privileged to catch this Brabantia Ironing Board at a very low price, I have used similar products in the past. It have lasted a very long time! In fact, when I am looking for any product, I will check Brabantia first, because of their superior quality and long lasting.

This is generally a really good ironing board with enough height for me (I’m 6’4″). My only criticism is that the cover wrinkled on first use. Maybe it was my ironing style, but having tightened the cover up, it seems to better now. Not completely crease free, but manageable.
I wish I hadn’t got a patterned cover as I keep thinking that my clothes have marks on them when I’m ironing. The catch that stops it from accidentally collapsing is quite stiff but I’m assuming it will soften over time. It’s a very large board, bigger than I thought, but all that I need for my ironing.
My 2nd Brabantia ironing board after loosing my previous one in a break up. The last one I had for 10 years and still working fine. Never even had to change the cover. Went for the same one again because even though they’re a bit more expensive than other ironing boards, I do feel like they wear the best. Nice and high too which is good for taller people. Big size board too makes it quicker and good for ironing sheets and linen. They are heavy though.

I am not returning as it’s just too much trouble. However, a piece of cardboard covering this metal top area would eliminate this happening. Elementary one would have thought. I ordered this ironing board as the one I was using gave me back ache. Im 6ft tall and at its highest setting its ideal for me. In fact my wife who is 5’8″ also uses it at that height and it takes the stain out of ironing. Being higher and wider it handles King sized sheets well when folded in half. Pointed end great for shirt shoulders. Our Philips steam generator iron fits perfectly into the area provided. I would have given it 5* but although the felt below the ironing surface is adequate after a long ironing session droplets of water form on the metal surfaces below. In time this may cause rusting if the metal hasn’t been adequately treated, only time will tell. I intend to place a further layer of felt on the board to help prevent this happening. Over all like steam iron generators I don’t know how Ive survived this long without a higher better quality ironing board
I ordered this ironing board as the one I was using gave me back ache. Im 6ft tall and at its highest setting its ideal for me. In fact my wife who is 5’8″ also uses it at that height and it takes the stain out of ironing. Being higher and wider it handles King sized sheets well when folded in half. Pointed end great for shirt shoulders. Our Philips steam generator iron fits perfectly into the area provided. I would have given it 5* but although the felt below the ironing surface is adequate after a long ironing session droplets of water form on the metal surfaces below. In time this may cause rusting if the metal hasn’t been adequately treated, only time will tell. I intend to place a further layer of felt on the board to help prevent this happening. Very large size ironing board perfect for all household ironing. Comes with a beautiful cover which can be removed and washed if needed. Also has a child safety lock mechanism which is very useful.
A premium product at very good value. Do not hesitate to buy this if you are looking for an ironing board that should last a lifetime.

This is the most sturdy ironing board I’ve ever had and it makes ironing so much easier. I have tried so many different irons to try and make the job easier but the secret seems to be to get the right board. The only down side is it is quite heavy and not so easy to fold up and down.
