Very easy to install where under sink access is limited
Bristan have really thought this through.
You can install the tap sink clamp through the tap hole from the top of the sink. The clamp has a small 1/2 moon section cut out to allow the clamp to be teased through the hole. On each side of the clamp are the Two supply connections for the tap assembly. The cold side is the clamp (threaded on the outside) which is tightened by the Allen key supplied to fix base section to the sink. The hot water connection can be lifted out to allow the flexible tail pipe to be connected above the sink. You still have to connect the cold tail from underneath first. The top tap assembly is pushed onto the o ringed supply pipes and held on with 2 small grub screws with supplied tool. Very sturdy once assembled. Lovely tap
I had this fitted by my usual plumber. My impression was that he found it a little fiddly to install.
However the result is excellent. The tap looks great and feels solid. I would say the quality is at least as good as the Franke tap it replaced, The height is just right making it simple to fill the kettle. After several months, I don’t recall it has ever dripped.

I read a few reviews before buying this, they nearly put me off. I’m very glad it didn’t. It truly is very easy to fit, no tightening of big awkward nuts. All very simple. I thought at first it didn’t give as much water at my previous one, I think it does, but the flow is much softer so it seems less.
This has the advantage of not causing splash back. Something I found very useful. So I can highly recommend it. Especially if you have never fitted a tap before.

I had a leaking tap that I remember was a nightmare to fit about 5 years ago, I thought I would try the Brittany easy fit after reading reviews. It took me about an hour to get the old tap off and 15 minutes to fit the Bristan easy fit. Such a clever idea and didn’t encounter any problems. Regarding the reviews saying the small grub screws coming loose and the taps coming off causing floods. I put a small amount of lock tight on the screws and you would know if they were coming loose as the taps would instead of being solidly locked onto the sink top they would start to swivel way before the screws come out, so if you did get any movement in the future just relighted the grub screws.
Best thing is if I need th change the taps in the future just unscrew 2 grub screws, remove taps and fit new ones.
Highly recommend these taps.
Great to see good engineering
The worst part of fitting a kitchen sink tap is undoing the bolts, which are normally rusted and inaccessible. This brilliant easyfit solution makes fitting the new tap so easy and when I need to fit a new tap in years to come it will only be the job of minutes. Two small complaints just in case Bristan read the review. Firstly the instructions say you should look at a YouTube video re servicing the tap. The video is unavailable. Secondly the online registration does not seem to work.

It leaked - but was quickly replaced!
This replaced a previous Bristan easy fit tap, so was simple for the plumber to change. However, on first use it was obvious that there was a fault with the spout that leaked. I contacted Bristan customer services who despatched one that arrived 2 days later that I changed myself. Good customer service, but minus a star for being defective in the first place.
Good quality tap
After having a tall mixer that splashed water up onto the window ,then changing to one that was too low and I couldn’t get large items under it I bought this one and it is perfect. It is just the right height and reaches to the middle of the sink. Even my husband agrees it is much better. It is a good quality ,feels very solid. I can definitely recommend
Seems to be good quality but a ball valve leaked.
The ‘easy fit system’ is excellent although I did need help to screw the threaded fitment which connects the top brass assembly to the bottom plate under the sink. My arms weren’t long enough. The only real problem was when I turned off one of the flexi-hose ball valves and turned the water on, without having the tap fitted. it leaked and I got soaked. Something I can easily replace, but a bit disappointing.

It’s worth spending a bit more to get decent taps like these. I bought some on Amazon last year for half the price and within six months they are defective so it’s a false economy. These are solid and good quality

The Bristan mixer tap is of very good quality and very easy to fit for an average diy person. Replaced a previous Bristan mixer tap which we have had for many years. Took 45 minutes to replace, but was like for like, so a direct replacement with no modification to pipe work. Would recommend.

Item arrived on timed in excellent condition. The tap is generally easy to fit however, I had some difficulty in that the existing hole in the sink was not big enough to allow the new tap to be put through the top hole for easy fitting as per the instructions which were rather sketchy. I had to separate the unit which is not recommended to get it to fit. That said once the tap was in place it was very easy to secure from the top. I would recommend watching the installation video which was very good. Periodic checks of the grub screws would be recommended as per the advice on the video. Very happy with the tap once fitted. Good quality for the price and looks nice on my kitchen sink.

Very easy to install, just make sure the rubber gaskets are properly in place. Good idea to check the grub screws, securing the tap body, for tightness regularly. After 3 months no issues.

Easy fit taps
These are advertised as easy fit taps and to be fair they lived up to the name. I had never removed old taps and fitted new ones in my life but using this brand I had the job done in half and hour. Most of the parts are pre-assembled in the box. Struggled a bit with the instructions at first but watched a 2 minute video on youtube and it all fell into place. No problem fitting the taps at all. Only issue I had was mating the flexible hoses to my existing connections. Had to do a bit of cutting etc but it was simple basic stuff. Another handy thing about these taps are that you can easily remove the full above counter part if you need to tile in behind for example. You dont need to unscrew all the fittings down below. Well worth buying

Excellent tap unit but as previously stated in reviews attachment screws come loose after a few weeks and require resecuring. Will probably end up by putting locktight on screws to stop them coming loose.

Most kitchen mixers involve scrabbling behind the sink tightening a bolt that’s hard to reach. With this, all the tightening is done from above the sink. I also like that it is easy to fit a new tap in a couple of minutes if the original one fails.
The tap itself is very good quality for the price.
The only thing I would criticise is that the instructions are rather confusing, and the tap has been modified but the instructions are for an older version. It’s easier to do the job than it is to follow the instructions!

This was, actually, very easy to fit. The instructions could have been a bit clearer though and I needed to buy two push-fit half inch connecters, not included.
Bit of a funny way to fit taps but easy once you understand how it all goes together, the tube of grease you get with this goes around the top part and I found you have to place a very small amount to the cold top end to get it to go home or you will struggle to push the top part on , quite easy after all tha

Superior quality and very easy to install after watching the video on YouTube. The supplied printed instructions were very sketchy and did not explain how to insert the tap base through the hole in the sinktop, which was the secret to the magic easy installation.

Installed by a plumber , seems solid and well made. Our water pressure makes the tap quite powerful, so has to be treated carefully when turning on.

Lovely looking tap, very easy to use as I have arthritic hands. Excellent value for money
Quality product which will be easily be replaced in the future. Two grub screws and the tap is will be replaced. The tap comes with flexible tales with fitted stop valves so was not difficult to fit if you have copper pipes fitted. Briston are ahead of the game and with a 5 year guarantee a good purchase.

BECAUSE THIS IS A “QUICK FIT” TAP, THE JOINT SECURED BY TWO TINY ALLEN KEYS CAN TURN LOOSE ON THE PUSH ON THREAD AND THE TAP HEAD WILL “POP” OUT WITH WATER PRESSURE. THIS FLOODED THE KITCHEN WHILE WE WERE OUT.
IF THERE IS ANY MOVEMENT AT ALL AFTER FITTING CALL A PLUMBER STRAIGHT AWAY
