Matches my stone sink
This tap matches my stone sink perfectly. Not keen on installing myself so getting a plumber to do it.

Very pleased with item, only fault,if any.I would prefer the plastic spout to be more inline with the tap not a cheap unit!..it not what you expect from BRISTAN.
Quality tap
Easy to fit, solid tap, defiantly an upgrade to the previous tap. The movement is smooth and no “wobbling”

Allen key supplied also helps tighten up grub screw with grub screw tool
Perfect replacement for our Franke cream tap which has lasted 34 years. Hoping paint won’t come off. Fitted by our plumber who showed me how the allen key supplied fits into the end of the grub screw tightening tool so he could get grub screws tight.

Good Mixer Tap
Mixer taps seem to be a bit hit an miss. My last tap did not last (4 years before the spout came off) so decided to pay a bit more and go for quality. Not disappointed the Bristan tap feels solid and of quality. Comes with 5 year guarantee. Fitting was very straightforward and all the tails and isolating valves provides which is great. It has a different mechanism for placing the mixer onto the body so time will tell if its sturdy. The design allows you to feed the tap through the mounting hole, but mine was slightly too small to do this. Just had to unscrew some parts and attach from underneath then secure from above. Clever idea, saves trying to secure the tap from underneath which is always difficult. Was straight forward to a non plumber like myself. Early days but very pleased.

The plumber fit these in five minutes and they look attractive. Not sure about sturdiness as only just got them but they seam quite durable. they work great.

We’ve had good experience with Bristan over the years. This tap is well made and good value. It was easy to fit, but the swivel head is rather tighter than any tap I’ve had before. I might remove it and put a little silicone jelly onto the O-ring.

Tap arm too long
This looks good, but the arm reaches the far edge of the basin instead of the middle, so it’s easy to get wet using the sink. Also the water comes out under pressure, which causes more splashing, especially so near one’s body.

easy to fit bought the end of june 2020. but after two months the paint is starting to come of the tap controls as
you can see by picture I think the stainless steel version would be better so thinking of getting in touch with Bristan.

Replacement Kitchen Mixer Taps
This was a replacement of an identical kitchen mixer tap. The original leaked and then the paint peeled off after 8 years approx. I trust this will last longer?

I bought this Tap it is good however when I went to have it fitted by a reputable plumber on taking it out the box there was a scratch on the cold water turn handle. I had to have it fitted as the cost of the plumber so a bit disappointed that it is not perfect.
