    APPALLING QUALITY *UPDATE
The bath/shower selector lever sheared off within two weeks of installation.
You’d expect much better from a reputable company like Bristan . I’m awaiting a response from them.
*Since my initial review Bristan have arranged to supply replacement parts. Hopefully this will fix the problem without me having to do a complete reinstallation.
I can’t fault their after-sales service, the young lady I spoke to was very savvy and helpful

    Simple and elega
Had a leaky tap and was recommended this brand. They came in no time at all and I had managed to send them back with no problems. They are simple to fit and use. My 2 and 4 year old have no problems with the taps.

    Superb
Great taps, not only do they give a sense of style- but also give a lively feel to a tap and stops the horrible “is the tap turned off” feeling.
    The 1/4 turns are fantastic

    Easy Fit Good Quality Taps
Very good quality, ceramic taps like these have a very smooth 1/4 turn action. Easy to fit to both flexible inlet pipe and sink. It would be better to have a second washer to fit either side of the sink hole. (Remember to measure size by the internal diameter of the tap).

Quality bath taps with ceramic quick flow joy
Bought this pair as a replacement for my 25+ Beaumont bath taps. They are a good match with porcelain tops although slightly fatter in shape. I hadn’t come across ceramic taps before but they are an utter joy. You only have a quarter turn on the tap and you are at full flow. This is ideal if I want to put more hot in with my big toe! No more fiddling about.

    Excellent quality mixer taps
Love these taps. Bought exactly same model as my previous ones which lasted at least 18yrs without problem so bought the same again. No brainer. wanted the gold look versionbut ended up getting chrome as was 100 cheaper than the gold look! Fits well and design is classic.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMust Be Great!
Bought for my dad, who quite frankly would moan that the sun rises. It’s been a few weeks since they’ve been delivered and still no call to complain, in my opinion either my dad has passed away or they are exceptionally good.

    New taps
I have not fitted them yet but I am a big fan of Briton taps as these will be replacing Briston 1901 taps I fitted in my house 30 years ago and never had a problem with them let’s hope these are similar in quality they look amazing I’m sure they will be

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersExcellent Taps
Excellent Taps, which were straightforward to fit and will operate cleanly and reliably for many years. The chrome plating appears robust and of high quality. I fitted the taps using split, centring poly washers underneath. These should be supplied with all taps. Without, there is a high risk of leakage from bath top to under bath.

Look great and is a quality product.
Absolutely brilliant tap. Well worth paying more than the cheap taps. Great pressure even though they are ceramic quarter turn taps. So it makes them long lasting and still keeps the pressure good even if you have low pressure. It can’t increase pressure (no tap really can!) but it can avoid reducing what pressure you have!

Look great and is a quality product.

    Quality
These are real quality they have a beautiful finish and a very smooth action. The quarter turn action is strange at first but great when you get used to it. Even my plummer was impressed.

    Excellent product.
There are cheaper alternatives; but don’t bother. Pay a little extra for the best!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat quality traditional design taps
Just had these fitted today and I have to say, I’m well pleased with the result. They look great, compared with the modern-style ones they have replaced, which were dripping and due to the stupid design, the water was flowing back along the horizontal part of the tap onto the part of the unit were the soap would normally be placed (I had to affix an elastic band on them to stop that happening while waiting for the new taps to be fitted). Even if these new ones were to drip, which I don’t expect to happen for quite a long time because they are a reputable brand, the traditional design means that the drips would run into the sink and drain away. Also, being traditional design, they don’t have any plastic inserts in them, so I think they will probably remain much cleaner for longer (the cold tap of the other design needed to be brushed every couple of weeks to remove the horrible black mould that would build up inside the discharge point of the tap). I have purchased the matching 1901 series taps for the hand wash basin as well and they look and feel just as good. The only problem is, I shall have to train my mind to remember to turn both handles the same way, rather than the opposite way for hot and cold as with the modern design, but I’ll get used to it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersExcellent taps for low pressure system
Excellent taps, very good flow rate from a low pressure gravity-fed system, despite being ceramic disc taps. I did get onto Bristan about this as these taps were originally compression valves and I wanted them to clarify the flow rates. I’ve bought Bristan taps before and been impressed and they also give flow-rate data on their website unlike most other manufacturers as far as I could tell.

I bought both bath and basin taps and would say the same about both – they give at least as good, if not better, flow rates than the old (compression) ones (not Bristan) that they replaced. They feel solid and well-built and operate very smoothly and easily. They have a traditional look, but the quarter turn valves give them a modern feel.

    Excellent quality and finish
Excellent quality and finish, quarter turn operation feels good with plenty of flow, something I was a bit concerned about with a deep roll top bath to fill! Needn’t have worried.

    Super stylish uni
These taps are very good for the money, the shower part very good for hair washing or swilling round the bath to clean it. I am very pleased with it.
