The Brother FS70WTX is an electronic sewing and quilting machine featuring 70 stitches, ideal for dress making, home furnishings and quilting. It’s suitable for the advanced sewer, but also if you’re new to sewing and want a feature packed machine. It comes with an extra wide table and free motion embroidery foot. The Start/ Stop button and slide speed control enable you to control the machine with your hands and without the included foot control. There’s a needle threader to assist with threading the needles and it has a quick set drop in bobbin and bobbin winder. The 7 x 1 step button holes allow you to sew different sizes. Stitch length and width control make the machine even easier to use. An LED light means that you never need to replace it, and your threads are not discoloured by the yellow sheen of a traditional bulb. A reverse sewing button enables you to easily lock your stitches off, whilst the 7 included feet allow you to embellish your creations even further.

The FS70WTX has 70 stitches that vary from straight and zigzag utility stitches, to decorative and specialist quilting stitches. Add some special personalisation using the many decorative stitches.

This is my first automatic machine although I have been sewing for over 60 years. Up to now I have found it easy to use, almost self explanatory, and it has done whatever I have asked of it. Compared to similar I think it is good value for money.
This is by far the nicest, smoothest machine I have ever had!! I’m so impressed with it. It’s also very quiet to use compared to my older ones. Very happy!
I bought this machine because I wanted to try quilting and I haven’t been disappointed with it. It’s a great machine and the amount of embroidery stitches are a bonus. Very easy for a beginner to use as well as someone experienced. Would highly recommend this machine and Brother have a very good backup system for customers.
Bought as present for my 13 yr old who is a beginner and has only ever used a sewing machine in school. Easy to use and lots of stitch designs .

A delight to use, so easy. My previous sewing machine weighs a ton and this one is so light, great to move about. Lots of great features. It would suit a beginner or an experienced person. Easy to thread needle, etc. (the main reason I bought this particular model), as my eyesight is not as good as it used to be. Would definitely recommend.
As i am not a beginner i am still only sewing over a year and still am only on the basic stitching, this machine seems to be perfect for me though, i had no problem learning how to stitch my first piece together with no problems what so ever. After completing it i checked all the stitches to see how tight they were, surprising to me was all the stitches were strong and held the material together tight without a missed stitch anywhere!
I highly recommend this machine even if you arent big on quilting this machine can go through heavy material, wool and very light cotton without missing a single stitch! Love my machine so much!!
Edit: After a year and as i picked up quilting i enjoyed this machine more and more. The only time it doesnt work is when it needs a bit of oil or cleaning. I started using just Gutenmann thread on it and it has not broke the thread and is sewing like a dream. I still highly recommend this machine to anyone who wants to quilt or just sew!
