I replaced my old hot water heater in my motorhome. The only problem I had was the bsp threads on the in out water connections. I ordered bsp x 1/2 npt connectors from Amazon and hooked it up. Seems to work ok but I can't go camping because of the Corona virus lockdown now.😡

I haven't had it for long but so far I love this thing. Very well made. I'm using it with a 35 PSI water pump, the pressure at the shower head is great and the water heats up in a matter of seconds. Very convenient and easy to get set up.

I plan on using this to shower outdoors when the weather is warm enough. The shower set up easy and instructions were GREAT. I have trouble reading the correct way to install the batteries but once I turned them around this thing fires up quick and easy. Water temp prior to the shower was about 45 degrees Fahrenheit and it ran about 102 degrees within about 3 seconds. The water in the hose cools quick so be prepared for it when turning it back on. Currently using with well water but have 12v pump to try next time we are out boondocking.
Water flow is good, easy to get wet down and rinse off. Will use it with the dog next time she needs a bath. She hates cold water as much as I do….
My only complaint is that water leaks from the quick disconnect for the shower hose. Not enough to return it but you will want to shut off the water to it when you are done.

Our first one developed a fault that the online team dealt with really well and in the end decided to send a complete replacement . Anything can break or be faulty and it’s the way it’s handled shows if a company cares about its customers. Both overseas and local teams have been excellent and we’ve already ordered another large one for the yard. Dogs happy too ….though it only needs the minimum setting for the heat for him, and you must place it out of the wind or you’ll be continually getting the reigniter clicking away. Good product.

I rigged up a nice hot shower with this unit, a Rubbermaid stock tank, and a 110v water pump. Saved a lot of trips to town and kept me a lot more presentable.
I used the shower head and hose setup that it came with – it’s cheap, but worked. Looks easy to upgrade if needed.
DON’T LET IT FREEZE! The heat exchanger is really thin by design. If it freezes with water in it, it’s a goner. It’s best to just unhook it and take it inside with you if you’ve been using it outside.
Love this and used it in below zero with ice cold water supply in our hunt camp. Water is hot. Don’t waste your money on the red box shower on demand… it does not keep up like this one does. And, if you add a small RV pump and camp near a creek you have unlimited hot water.

Up greased to a bigger camplux this year and it’s super!!! Customer service was great when I melted battery box with heat lamp when temp got to 10 degrees. They sent me a new one no charge. ( I moves heat lamp). Thanks for a great product!

Handy for Washing Dogs
Bought this for washing my dogs. Attached it to a wheeled trolley for ease of use. Have found the water temperature drops now & again so have to keep an eye on that, goes from warm to cold without warning. Have found it helps to stop & start with the water flow often to maintain the water temperature. Not really a massive problem.

The dogs love the low flow and warm water, no more struggling to get them under the spray, they stand there and ask for more! Note a short hose and lower hose pressure is needed, out 75ft hose was too long so switched to a 25ft hose.

The unit was super easy to assemble (minimal assembly needed) and is extremely efficient. The water pressure/flow from the shower head is perfect. When we purchased the unit we questioned whether we would need the larger unit but this unit is great! We are a family of four and have the unit hooked up to a 5 gallon propane tank which lasts 3+ weeks (4 to 6 showers daily and 2 kiddos that love to hang out in the hot water). Durable as well, the unit has survived a fall onto cement and has not leaked or decreased in performance.
This is a great little unit. I purchased this for my summer outdoor shower and it works great. If your trying to gravity feed water through this unit you will need a pump to get the flow rate high enough for the unit to turn on.

This unit has been providing unlimited hot water showers for weeks to our family while we’re living off-grid. It even changed my husband’s opinion of tankless water heaters! Seriously, best camping shower we’ve ever had. Price is so low, I wasn’t expecting much. Boy, was I wrong. Thank you for this wonderful product.

As this is meant for outdoor use we keep this in another room rather than the bathroom with a window open to avoid any issue with fumes. As a result I bought a garden hose to run water from the bathroom tap to this in another room and back to the shower head. I aslo bought a small ikea trolley for under a tenner that this can hang off and can a small canister can fit underneath.
The water flow and temperature is set on the shower and it provides a very consistent temperature water. It was very easy to set up and connect to the gas. I use patio gas/propane gas that is available at B&Q and Homebase. The smallest 5kg canister lasts around 4 weeks with 2 of us showering daily, so very economical.

Da ich ein sogenannter Wrmeduscher bin habe ich mich seit lngerer Zeit mit dem Gedanken beschftigt, eine einfache und mobile Lsung fr meinen Campingbus zu finden.
Den ganzen Sommer ber war die Gastherme im Dauereinsatz, auch zur Freude etlicher Gastduscher.
Auch auf einfachen Campingpltzen mit kaum Warmwasser nahm ich einfach die Therme mit in den Dusch Raum oder habe sie an den vorhandenen Kaltwasseranschu Vorort angeschlossen.

Works well but...
Ok this product works well but you really need a stand or place to hang it. Easy to connect to propane tank and adjusting the flow and temp you can get this really hot. We used this to fill a kids pool which takes forever with the low water flow.
This would be great for outdoor showering or warming a baby pool but it’s a stretch to fill a larger kids inflatable pool.

I use this productfor a recent camping trip and I must say I couldn’t be happier than ever. It has everything you need straight in the box ready to go(All tools and accessories included to hook up and to the propane!!!).
All you need is a propane tank.
I hook up the product to a spigot in less than 5min and was already having a blast washing my dog from a sticky accident at the campground. My dog loved it and I was happy to have warm-hot water for my little furry friend :).

L’eau est amplement chaude, et loin d’tre ajuste au plus chaud! C’est important de bien visser tout les tuyaux pour qu’il n’y aille aucune fuite pour avoir un fonctionnement parfait!

I run a glamping site and up till now have had ecotemp showers. This one heats the water ALOT hotter and is easier to use so my guests and I have been very happy with this new find. It is more expensive than the eco temp but only because their prices have come down considerably (used to be 250 now 149) but at 179 I think it’s worth the extra expense.
The real test though will to see how it does over winter. I have always had problems with burst pipes even after draining down the unit with the ecotemp shower.

This is a great, little unit. It will seem a little tricky until you get really familiar with its workings so I recommend reading the manual thoroughly. Once you figure it out you’ll be really pleased with how hot the water gets. We’re using it just as a hot water heater (not as an outdoor shower) connected the hot water line of our off-grid camp. We then mix it with cold at the faucets. I hope we get many years out of it.

Love this tankless hot water heater. My wife and i love boondocking and this water heater comes in handy when we go camping. I built a stand that fits in our portable shower and it works great. Its nice to be able to take a hot shower in the middle of nowhere.

Very EASY to INSTALL comes with everything you need cannot beat this price the water gets extremely hot and you can adjust it to luke warm to extremely hot. YOU will NOT be DISAPPOINTED!! To adjust the temperature to lukewarm all you do is turn UP the WATER PRESSURE on the TANK and turn DOWN the GAS on the TANK. To INCREASE the temperature you turn DOWN the WATER pressure on TANK and you turn UP the GAS temperature on the TANK. Fool around with it until you get it just right.
Worked well for our camping trip, having hot water was amazing!! We just couldn’t find the right hose attachments so some water was leaking out of it during use. Buit wasn’t a big deal since we were outdoors.

I would have gave this five stars but as soon as I used the shower head the hose broke I did read a lot of reviews saying hose was cheaply made but I still bought it.I hope camplux will send me a new and improved shower hose so I can use my shower other than that the shower did work grea

I love this product and I was so happy to get it hooked up with no problem at all! The shower head was really great and the hot water came flowing right out! After a month and a half with no hot water I am very pleased to have this!

Used Camplux 12V 65PSI Pump, gravity fed water from a 200 gallon tank above my outdoor camp shower, to pump water to the water heater. On/Off function works perfectly with the controls on the wand. Great pressure and plenty of heat. Couldn’t be happier.
This is my second portable water heater, the first one was another brand that I let freeze and ruined it.
I bought this one for my barn that has a full bath and utility sink
The paperwork states more than once not to use this indoors or install it permanently under any circumstances, I am a rebel so proceeded to do just that. I vented it outside and hooked it up like you would any other water heater.
It has worked great so far, the pressure has to be turned down pretty low to get the water really hot but in my application I don’t need high pressure, just an occasional shower and washing hands.
One note, the connectors are British pipe thread, this isn’t a problem if you use it as intended as they supply an adapter to connect it to a garden hose and the shower hose connects directly to it. If however you are disregarding their dire warnings and hooking up to permanent plumbing it wont work with American NPT fittings. You can get adapters here on Amazon to make it work

We have used this water heater continuously for the last year and a half. We have been renovating a house we bought while living in an RV on the property and have used our Camplux in an outdoor shower we built. It has performed beautifully. Always fresh hot water.
It should be noticed that as it is marketed as performing under low-pressure situations–it also means that when the shower is turned to it’s hottest–it is pretty low pressure. Still, it’s decent pressure and gets the job done.
I installed a drain valve between the unit and the water supply hose so I could easily drain the unit after each shower during the winter by just turning a handle. It worked perfectly. We used the shower for two winters without a problem as long as I drained the shower religiously after each use. Unfortunately… I forgot one night to drain the shower when it was going to freeze, and today the unit has a broken pipe inside. Totally my fault.
So if you are thinking of using this in the winter you absolutely need to install a drain valve (super easy–just a couple of fitting from Home Depot and some plumbers tape). And you absolutely need to not forget to drain it!
Having a private back yard, I’m able to shower outdoors every day, rain or shine. It’s the perfect way to finish off a hot-tub soak and get ready for the long day ahead. I’ve used the Camplux every day for six months and still have not had to replace the 20lb tank of propane. This means I’m showering on no more than $40 of fuel annually. The unit comes up to temp in about ten seconds and delivers a continuous piping-hot stream. The on/off switch built in to the showerhead is very convenient. The only issue I’ve had thus far is that the unit sometimes flames out in strong wind. But no big deal — simply turn the water off and back on again — and it relights right away. The unit was very easy to set up. I consider it the ultimate in luxury to shower outdoors. And to do it on so little water and so little fuel makes it that much better.

I bought this to use as an extra heater for my portable hot tub. WOW does this work great. Easy to light, just turn on the water and it lights itself. Easy to read dials. Really hot water in an instant. Easy to assemble, attach the water lines and the propane tank. That’s it. I used a water pump on the inlet side. Pumps the water from the hot tub to the heater and back into the tub. Just saved thousands of dollar by not buying a permanent hot tub.
Worked OK for a while, until a hole formed on one of the bends going to the coil, less than 3 months since buying this.was replaced quickly with no hassle. Replacement works really well.

I bought this for my outside shower area and it is amazing. Had some questions for the company and they got back to me very quickly and resolved my issues. All in all I would recommend this little in size water heater to everyone. It works as well as a whole house water heater.

I use this water heater in my food trailer I built and it works perfectly. Hangs nicely on the wall up out of the way also (hardly notice it) water is hot and pressure is good. I have a 3 sink and a hand sink hooked up to it with no problems. Would buy agai

Further to my earlier 5 Star rating….I’ve had the unit for just under two years and in that time I’ve had 2 issues that I raised with the seller. Their response has been absolutely fantastic and way beyond what one would expect given the passing of time. Each of my issues has been fully resolved with no hint of reluctance or blame shifting by them and just a genuine desire to sort the problems. I would absolutely endorse the 5 stars all over again and if there were more stars they would get them.
Have only just got around to fixing up the shower after leaving it in the garage for months following a house move.
Took me about a half hour to sort out the pipework, connect the gas and then run wonderful warm water. The only issue I had was worrying about over tightening the gas connection (mentioned in the instructions) but after enduring 2 leaks I took matters into my own hand and tightened it right down. (so that the inner pipe in the connecting bolt was unable to move). Absolutely brilliant bit of kit and hopefully my grubby Labradors will be less likely to bolt than when the hosepipe was brought out to wash them down. If I was still into camping I would definitely have taken this with me as the waterflow and temperature are so easily controllable.
