I am very pleased with my new machine that replaced my old 11yr one ,found the controls so different but my daughter put me right with them and now it’s all systems go…VERY PLEASED WITH IT
all seems good quite machine and spin except for buttons hieroglyphics would be just as easy, ideally common symbols would be more sensible and not have to refer to manual but good machine for price

Easy to install and has a eco wash that’s a quick wash so handy and energy efficient .
How ever it is smaller than a normal washing machine
It’s a great looking machine, still getting to know the dial and different cycles, haven’t used the smart touch screen on my phone yet, large drum, so yes would recommend
I preferred the settings on my old candy washing machine but due to a incident I needed a new one fast have now found best settings great size washes well and thanks to payment plan made it affordable for myself quick delivery too
Only thing I don’t like about this is if you try to use the app it only tells you what settings you need to use instead of actually sending the wash to the machine like the dryer does
The manual does not state this anywhere I can see, but would be good to know: when the cycle has ended, the panel shows a code of “56Y” or “S6Y”I thought it was an error code and was pulling out my hair, but after googling, it actually stands for “Standby” and this code will always show when the cycle has ended and you have not yet turned machine off. Would have been good to know!!
Also worth noting – there was a fairly big dent in the front when it arrived – the guys pointed it out to me. I personally don’t mind too much, but you might.
Its a lovely washer, leaves the washing smelling lush, only down fall for me was it says WiFi enables wich I assume people would think can use around the home, but that’s so wrong, every wash you use with WiFi enabled you have to scan it like you do when u pay for something in a shop wich was a massive let down for me, also when unbowed there was a dint in the bottom right corner.
But not at all happy with the warranty registration process, which involves third-party insurance company Domestic & General – who have the most atrocious online reviews.
The extended 10-year warranty offered FOC is for parts only, excluding the “card” – which is the master circuit board. Does that mean this expensive component is prone to failure and has an inherent flaw known to the manufacturer?
After registration, I was bombarded with pressure sales calls trying to upgrade me to full parts and labour guarantee – cost 145!
Extended warranties are well-known to be a consumer rip-off, so are Candy looking after their customers’ best interests by involving a data-harvesting insurance company?
Consumers have statutory rights, which apply well beyond the first 12 months on electrical goods costing several hundred pounds. If the “card” – or any other costly component – on my washer should fail prematurely, I’ll be off to the small claims court without further ado. And I’d advise others to do likewise.
Shame on you, Candy. I registered my warranty at service.candy-domestic.co.uk, not with Domestic & General.
After several pressure sales calls, I deregistered and had my personal details removed under data protection legislation.
Wouldn’t recommend bothering with the utterly pointless App either. Waste of time, and another component to go wrong.
I have tried out several of the programs and found them all fine and as they say in the book. I would recomend you read the instruction book, the selection of programs requires a little study. I have not yet attemped to conect my smart phone, I don’t feel smart enought, But my daughter is coming to show me. I have to say I am very happy with the machine and it performs as expected, I can’t say any thing about it’s noise, for the reasions I have given. I will point out I live a lone so no deeply soiled cloathes, but all the washing I have done is perfect. So I have to say I am very pleased with it. One point, there is a bit that is meant to go on the bottom of the machine, but the instalers didn’t put it on, and because of the comucation problems I have no idea why. It seemed to be a black sheet of material and go’s on the underside of the machine, I think I should have asked amazon, they are always so good about things, but I didn’t Ho Hum.
Have not had problems with this. I like the 15 min short wash. The spin gets clothes nearly dry. Drum large enough to wash my double duvet. Love the colour as I didn’t want white. Very easy to install, did it myself.

Needed a reasonably priced washing machine as my old one suddenly gave up the ghost! Good machine, but same problem as with previous Candy – cover for filter doesn’t hold very firmly, keeps falling open.

The washing machine itself is very impressive after a trial wash. However, the Amazon fitting team did not wear masks, despite me saying that my wife was ‘very vulnerable’. The younger of the two men could not fit our water hose properly (the supplied one was too short) and they left with a puddle of water on the kitchen floor. I fit the hose myself after they had gone, with no problem.

It washes wellI mostly use the 59 min program. I like that I can use the present programme or adjust the temperature and spin speed myself. It is noisier than my last machine. I paid for a install but the delivery men were useless and didn’t even know that you needed to turn the ‘tap’ on the wahing machine water pipe

I paid 21 for installation and removal. Absolute bargain. 15 mins new one in , old one and all rubbish disappeared.

Bought this to my old one which worked fine until I broke the door and getti g repair done was over 100 so thought I’d get a new one looked at a few sites but as I wanted installation and old one taken away Amazon won hands down charging 21 which is great value. The guys who delivered and installed the washing machine were brilliant as they was a problem with the cold tap to the connect the cold water to which took a bit of fiddling but was solved by turning of stopcock cannot fault them they were excellent even turned over my rug to avoid the old one dripping on it when taking it out (and they took their shoes off) onto the machine itself massive drum 10kg takes longer than my old one as a lot of programmes are preset with spin speed so my require a 2nd spin I am sure will find the ones I’ll use most as I get used to it. So far very happy with it and it’s more streamlined than my last one fits flush with kitchen units. Sorry such a long review but if your thinking about having delivered and installed highly recommend.
