We tied straps inside car as no roof bars.
Rain leaked in on straps.
After I read loosening straps would prevent this from happening.
Great bag, fits loads of soft camping stuff in and freed up space in a mini.
Will use again but on roof bars.
Bought slip mat separately which kept it solid in place.
Used this on 3 camping trips now. Really sturdy. And I can fit lots in the bag. I dont push it too hard as I don’t want to damage the zip. I only really use for bedding. Towels. Clothing and pillows. Keeps the items dry. Folds down into a small bag. So much better than trying to find somewhere to store a pod. My brother was impressed and bought one himself. Would recommend.
It just clips on to the roof bars (sold separately) with it’s own straps. Decent amount of additonal storage space. Easy to store when not in use as it folds away. But it isn’t as secure as a hard plastic roof box in terms of overnight parking. There’s no easy way to lock it and anyone can unzip it. So I put a simple padlock on it.
We are now a family of four (two kids in child seats) with a estate car. We were struggling to fit everything in the car for a week away but we also live in a flat so nowhere to store a roof box. We decided to give this a try and it’s been ideal. It fits loads in it, clips around the roof bars and then folds up and goes in the cupboard until you next need it. The material is waterproof but not totally weather proof, ours has got a very small hole in it which we think is because we left it empty on the car when it was frosty overnight – easily fixed with some tape. It also offers very flexible storage – we’ve had it on the roof between two bikes and it worked really well. All in all, does exactly what we need so good value for money.
This roof bag gave us so much more extra space for our camping holidays. We don’t have a roof rack on our car but we secured it by looping the straps through the handles on the inside side of the car. It stayed perfectly on our 3,HR journey. No movement. We used it to pack the softer items like sleeping bags, luggage bags and airbeds. We even managed to for the buggy in it aswel. Perfect. Would highly recommend
Went on holiday in June and decided to bring the mother-in-law with us. We have a 7 seater and 6 seats were filled in so we needed some sort of storage for the roof. Looked at roof boxes and bags and decided to go for a bag not just for the price difference but the bag has more storage space than most boxes. Really pleased with purchase as fit everything inside and strapped down safely. Travelled 100 miles motorway with the bag on with no problems at all. It rained a bit and kept everything inside dry. Absolutely perfect.
It’s not the most attractive thing to have in the roof, but it’s sturdy, waterproof, and roomy!!!

Easy to fit, holds surprising large amount. Not sure if it’s cheaper than a roof box but it’s far more easily stored at home. Great buy

I bought it a few weeks ago. It is very well made and works great for holiday trips.
Perfect for what I need it for. Fits on the defender roof nicely and has plenty of room, very waterproof and sturdy.
