It was essay to fit, had it do in lass them 30 mins. Cats love the clear door and sit looking out for hours.
Draught proof as described, magnetic latch holds door firmly but still allows cat easy access.
my five cats love it and i can hear when they come in and out when it am in bed ,and it was easy to train them to use it and as winter is coming it will stop me opning and closing the door and leting the heat out .
Too small for our cats though, returned for refund to enable us to get the right size. Would have been excellent for smaller cats.
Good flap,bought to replace an identical one that had lasted years before being hit at speed by a burly high speed kitten.
Just had to replace previous Cat Mate this month –previous one lasted about four to five years. Two points
1) Our puss is clever–he soon sussed how to open the four way tabs on the inside–so HEY PRESTO- I reversed the whole kit and the tabs are now on the outside-this works fine for me and Puss has stopped fiddling
2) Re the replacement-since it was only the flap that needed renewing-I only replaced the flap and have re-used the previous cat flap door liner. This eases installation for those with a horror of balancing screws through holes whilst standing with arms outstretched at the edge of an exterior door.
Brill fits perfect in the space my old one was no need to make new holes. well made, good value

This is great, perfect dimensions, don’t actually use the locking mechanism anymore but it’s a useful feature.

Bought this to replace the broken one the cats and dog broke over a period of time,very quick delivery,everybody who has cat/s should have one of these.
Bought this as a replacement for an existing cat flap which let in a terrible draught. This was very straight forward to install, and includes a handy template for the required hole through your door. Now it’s in I can’t detect any draughts around it, it’s great. It took about a day for our six month old cat to come to terms with the new flap, now he’s in and out with no problems. Good price, easy to install, no draughts, happy cat; what else could you ask for?

Replacement for previous flap where door and frame had worn out after about 10 years . Easily fitted…just a bit of a shock for the cat!

Product worked but was a bit tricky to cut the hole in the door using a drill and keyhole saw – due to the rounded shape of the bottom of the flap. It’s quite possible that could have just cut a square but I followed the provided template.
My cat broke the existing flap (ten years old) I tried to buy a replacement locally, the shop had ‘just sold’ the only one they stocked, a new one would be in stock the following Thursday.the price would be 16.50.
I checked on line, found this one @about 12 including delivery, I ordered it and it arrived on the Wednesday, the day before my local supplier said she could get one into stock.
I saved 4 and had the flap fitted quicker than the local supplier could offer delivery, Brilliant.
A good product which works well, Fixing holes were in same position as previous but different style flap, that one having been wracked by the frightened fat cat of a neighbour.
I had a similar cat flap before and was very happy. We had to put another one in a different door so went for the same. The cat is very pleased… wizzes in and out of it.

My last pet-mate cat flap lasted 10 years. It was still OK but looked quite shabby, hence a new one. It was very easy to install, but it was going into the same place anyway. The 4 locking ways are very useful. Hopefully it will last as long as the first one.

Simple to use and fit. Arrived in plenty of time and well packaged. Cats only took one day to get used to it. Good closure on the door so no draft through it.
Had this cat flap put in when I had double glazing fitted. My daughter’s spanial thought it was a dog flap and tried to get through and consequently broke the door off. I onlyhad to fit the outside half and it was easy.
We have a rabbit that chooses whether to come in or go outside, initially we had to keep letting him in and out via the door but of course a cat flap is much easier. After a little coaxing over the course of a day or two he was readily able to use the cat flap as desired.
Installation is easy enough, we have it in a pvc panel. I intended to buy the version with the liner but mis-bought the one without, so in the end we improvised, fixing the two sides using silicon adhesive and making our own lining for it. You do have to get the sides lined up properly and squarely as the hole you get is very slightly bigger than the bit that goes into it.
It’s been fitted about 5 months without any problems. As it’s getting colder we haven’t had any problems with a draft coming in, and this flap goes straight into the living room. The brush sides apparently are good at preventing the draft.
All in all a decent flap for a rabbit.

In my experience, best cat flap on the market. I have them fitted in my flat door and both security doors at the entrances to my 4-flat building. My cats are medium to large and the flaps suit them well. Late evening when my cats are in for the night I lock all flaps. Easy to clean and attractive too.
Bought this product before for another house. Works well, and the cats love to look out of it! Would recommend.
Easy to fit, very compact and with a quality door lock mechanism. Slightly smoked perspex clear door. Totally draught proof and with silent cat entry and exit. only minor criticism is that the frame is off-white rather than the usual bright-white of painted doors. Overall though it’s just brilliant compared to the Staywell that I previously fitted that was draughty,cumbersome and so noisy each time our cats exited or entered. So full marks Cat Mate.
I found that ordering the cat flap door not the whole cat flap very useful as that was the only bit that was broken, it came very quick and i would use the supplier agai

This was a replacement for the original one that was installed many years ago!It is in constant use and although its a ‘cat flap’ it is actually used by 3 small dogs.I thoroughly recommend this product and the speedy delivery from the supplier.
