7 inch actually 1280x720 so better than advertised!
Very neat little display that works well with Raspberry Pi’s. Well packed and quick delivery. Caused some consternation while developing graphics as originally assumed the display was as advertised (and stated in the “manual”!) at 1024×600. After some head scratching I wrote a routine to display the actual resolution detected by the Pi and it returned 1280×720 at 60Hz. Pretty much a bargain at this price as it’s not much more expensive than bare TFT’s and this is a complete display with stand, cables and remote control. Unfortunately the stand does not appear to rotate left to right – you can tilt the display front to back or rotate it clockwise/anticlockwise.
Great little side monito
I got this to use as a secondary monitor on a desk that doesn’t really have room for two larger monitors and it’s turned out to be ideal for having notes or videos open while I’m working or chats open while I’m gaming. The stand is easy to assemble and the face buttons and built-in menu are simple enough. The picture is very slightly on the blue side by default but nothing a little colour adjustment (in PC settings) can’t fix. Built-in speaker is so-so but for a little monitor like this you shouldn’t expect much; it gets the job done.
As a side note, the braided HDMI cable pictured here is not the one that came with the monitor.

USED with REKORDBOX DJ Software
Brilliant item. I actually use this as a DISPLAY unit for my REKORDBOX DJ software so I dont have to have my laptop all near the decks!
I’ve wanted an extra screen for a while but wanted something a bit smaller and more cost effective than a computer monitor.

Reasonable small monito
Bought one of these 10 months ago. Connection to a Windows 10 PC was straightforward (VGA, HDMI cables included). The display failed a few weeks ago (no picture) but after contacting seller through Amazon, a replacement was promptly dispatched and has been working fine so far. Picture quality seems decent to me bearing in mind it is a small screen.

The only problem is the visibility is dependent on the angle that you view the display.In other words the light level of the display depends on how it is viewed but ok for a cctv home system.
It works fine but the instructions are less than adequate
I purchased this unit to use with our home cctv system that was supplied without a screen. It came nicely packed complete with a remote control and extra cables. My first criticism is that the instructions don’t tell you how to assemble the stand and fit it to the screen…I eventually worked this out for myself. There is no picture of the unit itself or the remote control showing buttons and symbols. The symbols in the instructions don’t seem to relate to anything on the unit. I think the instructions assume a level of IT knowledge that some of us don’t have. I eventually got it working and could view images from our cameras. The screen is very ‘angle sensitive’ but once adjusted it is fine and the stand works well . The screen is small, which is why I selected it because space was at a premium, so you forget that the cursor will be tiny however it’s manageable. In summary the product itself is fine but instructions need to be more relevant.
Tidy little monito
I bought this to use to connect to my consoles for portable use, although not really what its advertised for it gives an amazing picture quality, especially fir the project i was building which was a pstv connevted to this small screen to use as im pretty much bed bound. Its portable and really light, so can be used on my lap or stood on a table top. Id recomemd this little monitor even if its just for the amount of sturdy connection sockets mou ted underneath. Will be looking at more products in this companies range.
Ideal CCTV monito
The screen is an ideal size to use as a CCTV monitor as it is compact and sits unobtrusively on the desk. The image is sharp and the colours are realistic. The fitting for the monitor onto the base was a little too tight to fit but the company sent a replacement connector without any query, delay or cost, so the quality of customer care trumps that issue and I am very satisfied with the outcome.

Unfortunately it stopped working after 6 months.
Did manage to return it only after a lengthy conversation though.
Using as Autoque/Teleprompter Monito
Rather than use an iPad for our Teleprompter we have used this monitor. It allows us to edit and control the teleprompter on the fly from a separate laptop. With VGA and HDMI options you’ve the flexibility to also use as a camera monitor. Consider getting a 11″ pouch to store when not in use. Recommended.
Does the job
Using this for monitoring CCTV in a specific room. It works as it should but the screen image adjustments are very basic and you cannot reduce the actual screen brightness. Also I cannot see a way to turn off the annoying and pretty loud beep when pressing the buttons.
Good quality product at reasonable cost.
Fully functioned and very portable monitor. Used for setting up and servicing raspberry pi computers which then run continually as servers. Controls are necessarily small and fiddly, a universal remote is available and may help improve usability.

A chance find
What is sheerness? I’m assuming that sheerness refers to clarity of the picture which presumably also depends upon the cameras fitted. I’m pleased with the monitor; the picture is very clear in daylight and nightlight. This was a spur of the moment purchase because the cameras could not be linked to the tv. The monitor is very neat and fits unobtrusively on the tv stand below the tv. No need for wall fixing though this is possible. Perfect! I’m now pleased that the system is independent of the tv, something I wouldn’t have otherwise considered. A happy accident.
