a bargain freezer that does the job well
I bought this to replace a fifteen+ year old Hotpoint Iced Diamond under counter freezer that seemed to be cutting in a lot and which I suspected was running away with my electric bill.
I was dubious about chest freezers as I always felt that they were a bit more inconvenient, but with a small one like this, there’s only so much stuff you need to move out the way anyway so it’s been less of a problem than I thought it would be.
I love the black – it’s very stylish. I do have a beef about the brightness of the green power lamp – but I got a black permanent marker and dabbed it on the centre of the green plastic lamp cover and that has reduced the brightness to a less annoying level.
I did notice that when the motor switches itself off it does so with a pretty hefty thump (not so much when it switched on for some reason).
The thing I like most about this was wht it did for my electric bill. My monthly usage went from around 200-220 KWH to 89 KWH – saving me over 40 a month at current prices. This freezer is going to pay for itself in no time.
I strongly recommend this freezer. I use mine in the kitchen, so it doesn’t need to be in a garage or shed.

Nice and light to move around bit unstable on my tiled floor in kitchen but with weight in it be fine plus stood it on a shower mat. I can’t believe how quiet when it is running, ideal size for one person as my fridge freezer (freezer part) is always rammed especially around this time of year so needed a chest for a while when I have my kids over now I can buy more junk food for them.

Just how described but no indication of where fast freeze starts and finish on the dial, just have to use your judgement. Not as cheap as I thought as compared some others afterwards so shop around. Delivery driver left on door step so not good delivery arrangements for 2 older people.
If you are looking for something affordable that does the job, and removes the storage pressure on your main freezer – it is good to go.
Slotted in to where it need to go – Black was cheaper price but sited in utility room and so, colour isn’t a limitation!

Running cost are hard to measure unless you are self monitoring and running comparisons and therefore, it is what it is!
I always believe, you get what you pay for and what you’re paying for is probably more, of a short term solution rather than long term, and being able to decide value for money is a measurement most of us will never be able to quantify – Ultimately, are our expectations based on 1 year, two years or several – this like all other products like it, will be renewed in a few months – Buy it and plug it in, that’s it!
Overall I’m happy with this freezer for the additional storage capacity it gives me. I keep it outside on the verandah and so far has performed perfectly fine during cold snaps and the warmer days we’ve had this spring; though I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve seen how it holds up during one of our 34+ suffocating London heatwaves!!
It includes a little basket on top that you can move from side to side. The only downside is the lid can fly back a bit when you lift it open so keep that in mind. Also, mine arrived a bit battered on the front so Amazon refunded me some of the cost.
Compact but big inside
Bought this to replace an old upright I keep in an outbuilding, thought I may have dropped a clanger but getting the 99L model but very surprised show much I could get in it, I would also recommend getting some Sistema 51210 Stack ‘n’ Nest Storage Basket | 5.25 L as these fit perfectly in the freezer.

This little freezer does the job perfectly, holds it’s temperature and freezes faster than I expected. It will frost up a little if opened frequently or for long periods of time when the air is humid. The secret with chest freezers is to keep them well organised and only freeze what you know you will use. I got some empty cherry boxes from the greengrocer, two stacks side by side in the freezer helps keep track of everything. Great for batch cooking things like soup and casseroles for quick lunches and suppers. Good value for money, perfect if you live in a small space.

Holds a lot more than i imagined
I got the 198Lt one and it sits nicely in my back room unnoticeable behind my granddaughters high chair and toy boxes. I was surprised by the amount of food it actually holds

As a family of 3, a normal fridge freezer wasn’t quite big enough for us, so I bought this to expand the space.
It’s the perfect size for under the stairs where I needed it. It’s very light so easy to get in place before turning it on and filling it.
Very quiet and can’t say I’ve noticed any change in my energy consumption.

Excellent Freeze
Excellent freezer with plenty of storage room. Bought a set of wheels which is ideal for accessing it as we have it in a cupboard. Highly recommend.
Impressed with the price and the quality of this item, which I bought to replace our garage table-top freezer. This ‘overflow’ freezer is useful for extra bread and milk and keeps our kitchen freezer clear for food stocks. The capacity isn’t huge but is the same as the one I have replaced and is perfectly adequate for the purpose. It arrived exactly when I was told it would and because it was packaged extremely well it was in prefect condition. Easy to set up and ready to use within hours – very impressed! This freezer was 10 cheaper than the cheapest comparable freezers I could find. I have had it just over 2 weeks now and am still very happy with it.

Massive inside, very deep. Comes with 1x wire basket.
The thermostat dial could be doing with being recessed, as I feel it could be easily knocked, but nothing a bit of sellotape can’t cure.
Also getting to grips with the right thermostat setting was trial and error. But made easier by keeping a freezer thermometer in the basket.
When first running empty with the thermostat set to maximum (freezing), it could get to -35C within an hour or so! I have found a full freezer settles at around -18C, with the dial at the 5o’clock position, if this helps.
Also beware that there is a big ventilation grill low on the right hand side of the freezer, which can’t be obstructed. There’s no pipes on the back.
The freezer runs very quiet too.
Overall though a fantastic freezer.
Great little freezer with enough capacity for one person, surprisingly. Fits well on counter top, not noisy. Every now and then can hear the pop to kick start the little noise of operation, which doesn’t last long. Hardly noticeable.
Top shelf is full depth, lower shelf is half due to mechanism accommodation at the back. Easy to install and change door swing if needed, careful not to scratch though when removing parts.
Overall very happy and definitely recommend. Would be even happier if it had an extra full shelf-food for thought to all manufacturers out there? Market lacks of range.

The freezer seems to be working very well so far and the storage capacity is fine. I have given it 4stars because I have been trying to find extra storage baskets but am finding it impossible to get the right size
Although a small dent in the casing, I’m happy with this freezer so far. Had a bit of a worry when delivered as box stated it was a fridge. Checked the product ID number on box before opening and it confirmed item was a freezer. Lots of space – I’d say enough for 2/3 person household but it depends on how much frozen food is consumed. I purchased it for fruit and vegetables because I’ve only a small freezer compartment in my fridge. i was buying mostly fresh and finding it would spoil quite quickly so I’m hoping my food waste will be reduced. It’s very quiet but can’t say if energy efficient although the rating suggests it is. Ideal for smaller kitchens.

Great price on Prime Day, a bargain. Seems very good so far. Bit like a TARDIS with the obvious problem of all the things you want are always at the very bottom. Too early to comment on ice build up, cost per month but so far very pleased. Scored 3 stars for efficiency purely no data yet, and 4 for maneuverability as it was heavy to lift up 2 flights of stairs on my own.

The first one that I ordered came with a dent and I was very disappointed with that at first. However, once the replacement order arrived I am completely satisfied. It works perfectly and it doesn’t have any dents and scratches. I got this particular type of fridge because it is the only one that advertises the minimum temperature. I put a digital thermometer to test it with the freezer in the normal setting, it gave me -19 degrees which is close to -24 degrees. When I turned the freezer in its max setting it can give me -23. Therefore, I am really happy with this freezer.
The size of this freezer is slightly larger than its competitor. I can put almost 10 packs of Icelxxd lasagne/spaghetti bolognese plus an ice cream which is big for a 2-people family. I also change the door to open on the left and it doesn’t take much time to do so.
There are some complaints with the fridge is that it doesn’t have self-defrosting, meaning I have to switch off the freezer every few months and defrost it manually. Also, it feels like it is using slightly more power compared to freezers from other brands. But given that the temperature of the freezer can be as low as -24 degree I think it is a good freezer after all
Good little freezer sits neatly on top of my main freezer. I bought it as an additional one to store kids’ desert. It working immediately and looks like it will last. It is quite and energy efficient. I am also satisfied with the capacity as it slightly more space than its competition.
It happens to be a reasonably priced refrigerator. It is located under the counter of my garden bar. It can hold space for bottles and cans. This is a great small refrigerator. This is what I want a small refrigerator, so it is effective to store wisely. Also like ordinary design, quiet operation of the motor!
