Overall I’m massively impressed.
Set up: easy. You need to download the free app and Instructions are included. I had difficulties connecting to an alternative WiFi but i forgot to reset the camera (the tiny hole that needs a poke). It took a little patience to reconnect but it did it. The poker tool thing is included.
Connectivity: make sure that your broadband/fibre has a split bandwidth. Your provided will do this for free but it may not be done. Mine wasn’t. The camera runs on 2ghtz which is the slower, longer reaching bandwidth. I have used a WiFi booster (because I wanted to ensure I caught the culprit) but it worked without. I have it on my gatepost which is about 35-40 feet from the router, with 2 solid walls between and it still worked. I would recommend a WiFi booster though, just in case.
Storage: I get up to 30 videos between checking and deleting. I think it would store more without any issues. I just don’t want to have to plough through lots. Easy to download any I want to keep and easy to delete them. Date and time given on videos.
Motion detection and range: great. 3 sensitivities amd covers all of my double driveway plus neighbours entrances.
Picture quality: very good. For a domestic camera I’m rather impressed. It’s clear night and day.
Battery: I have a lot of activity where the camera is positioned (Cats, vehicles, walkers) but the battery lasts a couple of weeks and charges fairly quickly.
J’utilise cette camra pour surveiller l’entre d’un garage sans alimentation lectrique, donc j’ai opt pour ce modle 100% autonome niveau alimentation.
Au dballage, je suis surpris par la taille de la camra, finalement elle est trs petite et discrte contrairement ce qu’on pourrait croire en voyant l’annonce.
Concernant l’image, en journe la qualit de l’image est trs bonne, de nuit la qualit est suffisante pour de la surveillance. Le dclenchement de mouvement est aussi efficace de jour comme de nuit. L’angle de vision est large, le capteur semble mme tre un grand angle et couvre trs bien une entre de garage par exemple.
Ct contrle, l’application (VicoHome) possde toutes les fonctions de base comme la dtection de mouvement, l’enregistrement vido, l’allumage/extinction de la lumire blanche et de la sirne, la gestion des notifications…etc. Mais avec l’abonnement VicoHome, les fonctions passent au niveau suprieur avec de l’IA : ajustement des zones de dtections, diffrenciation entre dtections animales, humaines, vhicules ou colis.
Au final, camra trs pratique et de bonne qualit de fabrication pour un prix correct !
As I have only had this camera for a couple of days, I’m not sure how long the battery will last. If its as good as my previous camera I will be pleased

I was searching for just a basic camera for my front door that wasn’t going to cost the earth, had reasonable picture quality and not be wrapped up in the must have subscriptions and having trawled a few this seemed the best option.
Was real easy to set up and install. Picture quality was good, was not expensive and you can get along fine without the subscriptions. Best of all, all my family can log into the camera to use. It ticks all my boxes.

Die Kamera macht das, was sie soll. Sie nimmt schnell reagierend kurze Clips auf (ich habe eine SD Karte eingeschoben). Die Daten werden superschnell auf das Handy nach dem Download der APP gesendet. Wenn man nicht in “HD” filmt, kann man die Clips aus per Handy versenden. Man kann die Aufnahmedauer einstellen, die Kamera inaktiv vom Handy aus setzen und durch die Rndelschraube bekommt man sie auch blitzartig von der Montagehilfe ab, um sie zu laden. Hier auch der Nachteil : Wenn viele Bewegungen aufgezeichnet werden, ist der interne Akku nach 7-10 Tagen leer. Das wird auf der App aber auch angezeigt. Insgesamt ein gutes Produkt, wobei der Akku eben noch etwas Ausdauer gebrauchen knnte. Bei 20 und mehr Grad Aussentemperatur und nicht 100 – 150 Clips pro 24 Std. wird er auch lnger durchhalten, aber sicherlich nicht Monate.

Easy to set up worth a go at the price
It’s a very good quality product and following the installation instructions wasn’t difficult, including pairing with the wi-go hub. Only minor problem was with the ball joint which wouldn’t clamp up properly without a small mod. The app works well – all in all a very good value product.
Bit complicated for a oldie but fortunately my electronics engineer grandson set it up for me.
Easy to fix in place, sharp clear picture both day and night and very sensitive regarding motion detection. Meets all the requirements.
Good portable camera; you can position the camera at 2 different angles.
Night Vision – good!
Spotlight – good!
Alarm – loud (good)
My qualms about it, is that the motion detection is very sensitive to any movement (even rain) and I believe also level of noise I.e. moving vehicles, so the battery drains unnecessarily. Even if I switch the settings to Low detection it still records while there’s no one there.
I found out after purchasing the order, that in order to focus on activity zones, you’ll have to pay for subscription.
Great camera .. was very unsure about cheaper cameras .. but this is really good and it’s night vision is great too .. over all happy and I’m a picky bugger at times
Using it for monitoring our puppy while we are out or at night time to check he has settled.
Terrific quality image. The movement indicator seems to work well. The notifications come up fine.

Early days but after a week I’m extremely pleased with this unobtrusive security camera.
If it continues with the same consistency and accurate motion detection over a longer period I will be investing in another.
Easy to fit and functional. My only point I’m not happy with is: I wish I could set the time for motion sensitivety as it’s our main entrance and it’s constantly going off. Ideally if home I could turn it off, but generally I know I want it on when we sleep or ain’t home. Pictures are excellent.
Quite easy to set up but seems to keep showing static vehicles as well as moving ones.
I need to review where I have positioned the camera to try to overcome this.
Die Einrichtung ist kinderleicht, man wird durch den Prozess gefhrt. Die App an sich ist ganz okay aufgebaut, nicht so einfach wie bei der Konkurrenz, aber alles ist da wo es sein soll. Leider sind einige Funktionen gesperrt wenn man nicht monatlich zahlt, aber die fr mich wichtigen Funktionen (Mitteilung wenn die Kamera eine Bewegung erkennt und automatische Aufnahme) sind kostenlos dabei und das zhlt fr mich.
Ich bin echt berrascht, ich habe fr den Preis nicht so ein gutes Paket erwartet. Kann ich mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen!
This is our first security camera. It is a very compact, wireless camera. We have been using it for a month now and so far there is no issue with it. Initially, it was easy to set up. It has a manual you can easily read for instructions. We were able to set it up quickly with app and with the 2 users. App is very user friendly. You can use microphone to speak through. It has an alarm and light system which you can use through the touch of a button. Video quality is good, you can toggle between SD or HD. You need to pay for additional services like cloud recording and activity zone but I think you can live without those if you are on a budget. Battery life is good. Since fully charging it the first time, it is now currently at approximately 70-75% after a month of usage. Overall, we are satisfied with this product. For this price point, I can say that this camera is unbeatable.
Die Kamera is besser als erwartet! Die habe ich gegen die Eingangstr installiert und gerade mit Bewegungssensor ausprobiert. Die APP hat mich gleich 10 sec video mit mir gesendet (sehe video).
Das ist schon zweite Kamera von dieser Hersteller – erste funktioniert noch perfect and Akku ist nach 1 Monat noch nicht leer.
I bought this around three months ago for the back door. I fully charged it and after three months still doesn’t need recharging. The motion and picture quality are great and the setup took minutes. I’d definitely recommend this camera.. in fact my brother in law has also bought one and is also chuffed with it.
– Setting up the camera is a doddle using the mobile App.
– I think that the image quality is very good, both in daylight and in night vision mode. The view is very wide angle, this gives a good field of view but objects further away appear quite small.
– The camera can be used either with or without a small monthly subscription – if you pay then some extra features are enabled – such as setting up detection zones (useful if you live near a road), “smart push” (shows the type of detection) and “AI” (person, pet, vehicle or package). Also I believe that the monthly subscription gives longer cloud storage of captured videos. To be clear the cam is perfectly usable without subscription, but you might think that the small cost of the subscription is worth the extra features.
– You can install a micro SD card – videos on the card are accessed via the settings menu – this part is a bit clunky as you have to scroll left and right to find the video that you want. Apparently videos are stored on the card until the card is full (so no actual time limit). You can record videos or photos from the SD card footage onto a phone.
– Battery life is excellent with large lithium ion batteries. Be aware that this device takes a long time to charge up fully due to the size of the battery.
– The only improvement I would have liked would be the possibility to set a schedule for notifications.
A couple of technical aspects:
1. There is no way to connect directly to the camera – the camera needs to be permanently connected to the internet and the App that you use accesses footage via an internet server. This means that if the internet service is unavailable, or if the company stops the service you might not be able to access the camera and you would not get alerts. The camera might continue to record events onto the SD card but you would need to take the card out of the camera to read the footage.
2. Depending on your phone there can be a significant delay in receiving alerts, I believe that this is due to the battery saving measure putting the app to sleep. On my phone, Android 9 there seems to be no solution to this.
The camera is of nice quality, feels substantial.
It was easy to set up, installation was easy came with template to fix bracket to the wall.
Once connected to WiFi the picture quality is very good. Early days but its looking very good.

Am very happy about all aspects of the camera. The only thing I would say is that the description did not state that you actually have to pay a monthly subscription to get all the features. I’m happy with it as it is though.
Nach einem Einbruchsversuch an unserer Terrassentr habe ich mich entschlossen , diese durch eine Kamera mit Bewegungsmelder zu schtzen . Da kein entsprechender Stromanschluss vorhanden war , fand ich in der kabellosen CPVAN-berwachungskamera , ausgestattet mit wieder aufladbaren Akku’s , das ideale Produkt . Das Anbringen war problemlos , die WLan-Verbindung mit meinem Handy klappte sofort .Da die Reaktionsempfindlichkeit einstellbar ist , reagiert die Kamera – wie gewnscht- auch nicht auf Insekten oder sonstige kleinere Bewegungen . Insbesondere wenn wir im Urlaub sind , bin ich sicher , umgehend ber Handy informiert zu werden und reagieren zu knnen ( Nachbarn, Polizei usw. ), wenn sich Personen meiner Terrasse nhern .Ein beruhigendes Gefhl .
This is a good camera for the money . Video & images are good . But battery life could be better . Apart from that i am happy with it all .
I see on some comments, some people with bad reports, i don’t know why, i have a bad problem with new gadgets, wifi etc, it has taken me 90 minutes to figure out how to set this camera up. I need step by step instructions, there wasn’t that many with this camera. But i’m stubborn, so it took me a long time. My age group were not brought up with anything electronic, more battery powered. If i can get this to work, anyone can.
I’m really pleased with this camera. It was straight forward to create an account on the app, app connects to my wifi and then finds camera. Even in SD the picture is good. Some functions like target sensor area are additional fees which I haven’t bothered with as it’s good as it is. I’m going to get extra brackets so I can move the camera about.
The camera was exactly what I wanted, after an attempted break-in,in the early hours from our home , we needed the extra piece of mind. Took a few minutes to set up and let than 10 minutes to install. Battery life could be a bit better, but good purchase at a good price.
The device is working fine. However it is set off by my neighbours cats which is annoying. Hopefully I can rectify this issue soon. The biggest disappointment for me is the PC App which is soon to be discontinued. I cannot understand why as it worked perfectly

Good product. Only drawback is the fact the motion detection time cannot be set for specific hours of the day. It records motion 24 hours thereby taking a good number of videos and battery usage. Excellent picture quality, fair price
Using this camera to cover the front door and driveway and it does the job OK. Even when the motion detection is on low it still picks up any movemetn in the area. Hve not puchased any plans just using it out of the box. Battery is 50% after 4 weeks but this will vary depending on where you site it and how many notifications you get. All in all happy with purchase.
All in all an excellent purchase and I would highly recommend.

Second camera so now have two on the phone app. Works great for the section it covers, amazing camera quality and long battery life (so far). I like that it autosaves on the SD card for later reviews. It does miss the odd motion but overall amazing value for money. One thing I would like to see hopefully if the app is updated is a way to continuously record rather than just being prompted by motion.

Small and compact unit and the battery lasts longer than I expected.
Arrived well packaged in Ireland from UK in only two working days. Opened box and set it up in no more than five minutes. After checking that it was working correctly, I mounted it on wall, job done. It already had a good charge so I charged it fully when up and running. Highly recommended for efficiency and value for money.
The sensor is very sensitive even on low sensor setting mode. Alarms to phone constantly if any wind blows or trees move but overall is good.
This is my first smart security camera so I can’t compare to other options – however overall I’m very happy with it. I’ve listed the pros and cons below based on a month of use.
Pros:
> Battery life – seems excellent – mine gets triggered approx. 80 times per day and I estimate I will get at least a month between charges. Charging is easy as I can use a portable USB power bank outside under our porch – or the camera could be removed and brought inside.
> Smart recognition features – reliably identifies people/pets/cars and highlights these on the videos.
> Security options – configure camera to switch on internal flashing light or audible alarm when triggered.
> Night vision – uses infra-red light and is very clear – see video
> App/ Interface /options – App easy to use and is regularly updated. Enough options – e.g. night vision type/ motion sensitivity.
> Build quality – excellent feel and appearance – appears to be well made and high quality. Time will tell if it lasts outdoors.
> Wifi connectivity – stable and easy to connect – no issues at all
> Ease of setup – good instruction and easy to setup. I screwed the base to wood so no drilling or plugs required.
> Value – 45 – 50 seems excellent value to me for a waterproof, battery powered, smart, wifi connected HD camera
Cons –
> Smart recognition features and activity zones rely on subscription at cost of 2.99 per month or 30.99 for the year. They are up-front about this – but I think the price is a little high. It can be used without using SD storage.
> Video playback is sometimes erratic and can pause – sometimes it takes a few attempts to play a whole video smoothly.
> Motion detection delay – normally it takes movement across half of the field of view before the camera is triggered – this is understandable as the camera has to be woken from low power mode and I suspect battery life would suffer if it was faster.
Overall I’m happy and the camera has proved useful on a number of occasions. Mostly we can see when delivery drivers are waiting at the door without breaking away from work to check every time we hear a knock at someone’s door. I also feel like it is a good security feature and it has made us feel safer.

Very good camera but goes flat in less than a week in the description says stays charged for 3 to 6 months, disappointing as goes flat less then a week and I keep having to charge it but it is a good camera
Just set up now and really impressed with the camera. Just a tip when setting up, once you have put WiFi password in point the camera to the QR code on Ur phone then it connects.

arrived fast, good packaging, the CPvan box presentation is excellent, I love the pull up tab that helps get the camera out of the box…..I charged it overnight with the included charging cable and fitted and tested the camera this morning, all working fine, the app loaded from the QR code in the instruction book and it connected to my WiFi without any problem……I’m using this one in my garage, some good features, if you get a notification of an intruder, you can remotely sound an alarm, you can turn on a bright white light and even speak to them……..I can only guess what you might say…haha….just buy it.

PIR function works incredibly well. The solar function really makes this the lowest maintenance. Just needs an SD card and literally leave it alone.
It has provided us with a peace of security and protection as it send you goodpictures from your camera to your phone in real time and the night vision and motion detection is good quality for detecting people in your area
I brought this camera as living alone means I felt a little vunerable and I have been so impressed with this camera it’s clear easy to fit and attach to wall and once it is connected to your device it’s great and price point was good too definately happy with my purchase

This is a nice looking camera, it’s very easy to use once it’s set up. It comes well packaged and as a replacement for the one that died its very good.
These are brilliant cameras – probably the best available. The picture quality is superb and the dedicated app gives you the options to manage multiple cameras and filter out possible false alarms(e.g. pets) if required. The battery pack with the BC03 will last up to 6 months and the ingenious magnetic bracket makes it easy to make adjustments or remove for charging. I highly recommend these excellent cameras.

I lovethis device as someone who has never used a device like this before, great quality photos and motion pictures as I watch my hedgehogs at night, great little camera for the price I paid.
This Smart Cam is brilliant and its battery operated so you just charge it up from time too time. I’ve opted to add this to my motorhome for additional security and fixed it in the cab(see photos) and its pluged in too a USB socket so its powered all the time. I’ve added to home WiFi and a dongle when I’m away in the motorhome. For the price its great and the quality is fantastic. You can record to micro SD card or opt for the Cloud storage.

I bought this to keep an eye on my rabbits a long way from the house and Wi-fi is very weak in that spot. I was dubious this camera would work. It’s works great and the picture is fab even on night vision.

Overall A Great camera. The camera & accessories were well packaged. Adding this camera to the VicoHome app was effortless, and had voice prompts too. The camera was usable after just five minutes.
Installation was easy with the bracket that is either or via an adjustable camera-screw type fitting on the bottom or the back centre of the Camera.
Images can be saved either on a SD card (not included) or online with a basic or enhanced subscription.
Image quality is just as good as my existing CPVAN Camera BC02 with little or no lag, and the BC01 has now placed in my front garden overlooking the the front door and the cars.
It also gives me good notifications on anyone who approaches the front door and then allowing me to talk to them before letting them in
AI features look good, though it’ll be some while before I’ve seen a full range of alerts.
This system reminds me of the more expensive Arlo system, but in my opinion it does the exact same thing for less than half the price. I love the fact I can place them wherever I want around my property without the need for power outlets, also the Wifi seems to pick up great from quite a distance from the house, although I do have an internal mesh network.
Motion detection can also be turned on and off through the app and the sensitivity controlled.
Not yet Alexa ready but I understand from other reviews that integration is under development, and when ready can be implemented through an easy firmware upgrade option in the app, this would be a great addition to the overall experience.
As always, they have surpassed expectations and done a brilliant job with this camera. I’ve been using quite a variety of products throughout the process of making my own smart home, and I would say this definitely makes a great addition.
The battery life has been amazing as well – and the video quality could be improved (however I do think it may be due to the weak WIFI signal).
All in all, great delivery again!

Small but good camera, using to track night wildlife in garden, lightweight and functional, can wall mount or mount on a tripod, (update) metal fittings go rusty very quickly and the connection via the mobile app does not work first time every time. Customer service is basic instructions at first and then you get provided with a customer service number to show you will get personal information later.
We’ve recently had three fox cubs born, so I thought a second camera would be useful so that we can keep an eye on what they’re up to in the front and back.
The camera comes with everything necessary to mount it and a charging cable (standard USB power required) and as I already have the VicoHome app installed on my phone, setting up this second camera took about 90 seconds.
I mounted it on a post near where we leave some food for the foxes and the attached images show the results from the first night.
The camera notifies you when it detects movement, but this can be turned off in the app. Useful when you don’t want your phone pinging all night!
Motion detection can also be turned on and off through the app and the sensitivity controlled. You can also set off a siren in the camera remotely which is useful if you’re using it as a security camera.
Whilst we were away we placed the BC02 outside the front door and it worked flawlessly, alerting us every time somebody approached the door and recording video to the cloud (and SD card if you put one in).
There are advanced AI options available in the app to filter when the camera is triggered to avoid false alarms, but this is a subscription service.
Battery life on the BC02 is excellent and I have no reason to believe this won’t be the same. Picture quality is great on both cameras.
This camera does not have RTSP available, so it can’t be added to a current DVR system, but this would be impractical for a battery camera due to the power requirements of a constant video stream. Its own app recording works well and the completely wireless nature of the camera enables it to be placed anywhere and its location changed easily. I have yet to find a spot anywhere in the garden where it cannot connect to my wifi.
All in all, this is a great little camera and offers the quality and features found in much more expensive cameras.
Only just put it up but looks good in the videos of cars and people passing.

The camera has a bracket or you can use it freestanding. The screenshot is from the camera in my garage. The quality is good and it works with infra red at night.
You get an alert within seconds of movement. I am pleased with the responsiveness which will detect objects moving at any speed. The App is great and has many features. You can download the footage to your phone in seconds should you need it.
A great compact video camera, that can be placed in and around your house / office.
Great quality and with SD card gives us some recording if anyone comes in.
Good app functionality and even with weak WiFi outside no issues at all with it.
No complaints and stunning value in my opinion.
I have bought a CPVAN battery security camera three weeks ago. It is a nice camera, now they release a new camera from the same App Vicohome, I really love it, nice price right? I will recommend it.
