Great little machine for a start up. It can be used with many free fonts and pictures. Straight forward and quick. Decent products to buy off amazon that aren’t cricut name so they are cheaper but not inferior. Bought when reduced so happy with what I paid for it.

My partner got this for me for my birthday, and oh my gosh i love it to pieces. The design software that comes with it (free) is so easy to use, and the machine is so simple to set up. You can use Cricut materials, or other materials with the cricut cutting mats. There are so many possibilities of things you can make and do. Its absolutely fantastic and i am so in love with this machine!

La verdad es que te tienes que meter en YouTube a mirar vdeos tutoriales para que te expliquen el funcionamiento de crear un proyecto. An estoy en ello.

I had wanted a Cricut for years but didn’t really have the room (or the time) for one. When the Cricut Joy came out I knew I had to have it. It was still a bit pricey (as are the materials you use for it) but when I saw it on Amazon with 40 off the usual price I snapped it up.
It doesn’t come with instructions, very odd, and most of the YouTube videos and Facebook groups are very American. This means that when you are looking for images, sayings etc to print there are some that don’t mean anything to Brits. Lots on Thanksgiving for example. However you can write your own and the Facebook groups are very friendly and helpful plus there are lots of people giving tutorials.
I enjoy lots of different crafts and having the Cricut will enhance my crafting experience. I can’t believe how much this little machine can do!

I’ve always wanted one but wasn’t sure which was best machine to buy for a beginner. Although a bit expensive especially the accessories that you need, I am pleased with my purchase. I love crafting and the Cricut Joy is a great addition. NB. Additional cost to purchase fonts, designs etc

Benutze es seit Monaten jeden Tag!!!!
Ich benutze dieses groartige Teil fr meine Arbeiten fast tglich und bin total berzeugt. Wenn es mal nicht richtig klappt, liegt es meistens an minderwertigen Folien (oder hnliches)
Das Gert ist toll und ich habe mir jetzt ein Gert fr die Arbeit im Kindergarten gekauft, wo ich meine Kollegen bereits eingefhrt hab (leicht verstndlich) und wir es dort auch immer wieder benutzen.

Süße Maschine mit wenig Freiraum
Ich war sehr begeistert von dieser kleinen Wundermaschine.
Allerdings war sie mir doch etwas zu klein fr meine Ideen, daher eine nimmer Grer bestellt. Eher geeignet fr “mal schnell was kleines plotten”

Super zufrieden und glücklich
Hab mich reletiv spontan fr den Cricut entschieden und es nicht bereut, im Gegenteil, ich bin seitdem im Plotterfieber, weil es einfach und gut funktioniert. Die Software knnte noch verbessert werden um Klicks zu sparen, aber ich wrde die Wahl immer wieder treffen, auch wenn ich grere Motive splitten muss. Fr sehr viele Zwecke reicht er super aus!

Ich habe den Joy jetzt seit 2 Monaten und ich bin happy damit. Obwohl er die zwei Funktionen, die ich unbedingt wollte von Haus aus gar nicht beherrscht. Kisscut und Print & Cut.
Ich wusste aber, dass es Workarounds gibt. Und ein bisschen umstndlicher zu arbeiten strt mich nicht wenn ich dadurch um die 200 spare.
Die nchstgreren Gerte sind mir nmlich zu teuer, zu gro und knnen viel mehr als ich brauche, was die Materialvielfalt angeht.
Der Joy lsst sich easy wegrumen und wenn er gebraucht wird steht er ruckzuck auf dem Tisch.
Die Software ist aber leider totaler Krebs. Sowohl fr Leute die sich aus der Bildergalerie (fr die evtl. ein Abo notwendig ist) ihre Projekte zusammenstellen wollen als auch fr Leute die es gewohnt sind mit Grafikprogrammen umzugehen und ihre eigenen Motive benutzen mchten.
Fr wen passt der Joy so wie er ist?
Wenn du einfach nur schne kleine Motive aus einfarbigen Folien, Papieren, Bgelfolien, Vinyl etc. schneiden oder Karten gestalten willst, nimm den Joy. Fr Karten braucht man aber die extra Kartenschneidmatte.
Ich hab mit dem Joy ein Lesezeichen gemacht (s.Bild) Es war mein erstes mehrteiliges Plotprojekt und dementsprechend nervenraubend, wegen der Software. Aber wenn man sich da ein bisschen hinterklemmt wird’s am Ende gut und es lohnt sich.
Wenn du, wie ich, selbstgemachte Sticker machen willst bzw. selbstgedruckte Motive ausschneiden willst, verrat ich dir wie das geht. Denn genau das kann der Joy eigentlich so gar nicht.
Das Problem mit dem Joy ist, dass er 1. keine Print & Cut Funktion hat und 2. ber die Schneideinstellungen keinen Kisscut bei herkmmlichen Stickerpapier hinbekommt. Erklrung folgt:
Print & Cut heit du stellst dir deine Druck- und Schneidedatei in der Circut Software zusammen, speicherst sie darber, druckst dein Motiv mit deinem Drucker und lsst es anschlieend vom Plotter schneiden.
Das kann der Joy nicht, weil er keinen Sensor dafr hat das gedruckte Motiv zu erkennen.
Hat zur Folge wenn du etwas Bedrucktes einlegst, wei Joy nicht wo er schneiden soll.
Dafr gibt es ‘nen Workaround. Hier das Video worber ich es gelernt habe

Aber auch wenn man das benutzt bekommt man keinen 100% genauen Schnitt (s. Bild mit den Quadraten) Weil man ja selber die Schneidmatte einlegen muss, wenn das nicht sitzt verzieht der Schnitt halt. Muss man ben und ein bisschen Anschnitt miteinplanen.
Kisscut bekommt der Joy nur mit Vinyl hin. Heit er schneidet nur die Motivfolie und nicht das Trgerpapier damit man es ganz einfach wie einen Sticker abziehen und irgendwohin kleben kann.
Auch auf der niedrigsten Schneidstufe schneidet Joy durch Stickerpapier durch. Wenn man aber ‘nen Stickerbogen haben will muss man tricksen.
Dazu musst ich mir selber was einfallen lassen.
Die Lsung: Die Klinge nicht vollstndig einsetzen. (s. Bild)
Die Klinge setzt man von oben ein und wird dann mit dem groen trkisen Teil gesichert.
Ich hab mir einen 2mm dicken Ring (in der passenden Farbe 😀 ) 3D-gedruckt.
So kann ich easy zwischen Stift und Klinge wechseln ohne jedes Mal rumfummeln zu mssen bis die Klinge gerade und auf der richtigen Hhe ist.
Das gleiche lsst sich bestimmt auch mit einem dickeren Karton umsetzen.
Fazit:
Zum Ausprobieren ob Plotten berhaupt was fr einen ist, ist der Joy top. Gerade, wenn man ihn im Sale bekommt. Habe 160 bezahlt. Und wenn man auch nicht viel Platz hat. Das wofr der Joy gedacht ist (Karten gestalten, Vinylfolie, Bgelfolie, Pappen zum Basteln schneiden) macht er auch top. Die Software ist hier das grte Manko. Die muss man aber leider auch benutzen, wenn man ein anderes Gert von Cricut kauft.
Wenn man sich aber ein bisschen dahinter klemmt, kann man die eine oder andere technische Limitierung umgehen. Kisscut, gedruckte Motive schneiden und seine eigenen Designs verwenden. Drittherstellerstifte benutzen dank Adapter. Und bekommt so mehr fr sein Geld/hnliche Funktionalitt wie die Gerte ab 300. Abgesehen von Schneidgre.

Es genial, tengo q seguir explorando las opciones y quiero comprar los rollos de vinilo para usarlas mejor que las lminas, la recomiendo, me cost pillarle el punto como todo cuando eres novata, pero ya le voy cogiendo el punto
Para hacer cositas para ti mismo o para amigos y familiares es genial. La pega es que no viene con el cable para conectarlo al PC para as imprimirlo desde la app de ah, tiene que ser desde la app mvil. Y es importante revisar la cuchilla de vez en cuando ya que hay veces que se quedan partes de vinilo enanas pegadas a ella.
Super tolles kleines Gerä
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem kleinen Joy. Ich bin Anfngerin und probiere mich aktuell noch durch. Die App ist auch sehr verstndlich, ich benutze ein Ipad. Durch die Gre kann ich den Plotter super leicht und berall verstauen.
My husband purchased this little machine for me after months of wanting to get into crafting. This has not disappointed.
As a beginner I had no idea how to use it but I installed the app and linked the printer up and take you through your first go at it. It comes with a little pack with a few cards and a bit of vinyl for your first cut, small blade, pen and along with this is the smaller cutting mat too. You need to ensure that you purchase the weeding tools as they don’t come with it. When downloading the app it gives you the option of a free months trial, after that it is 7.49 per month. Anything I haven’t been sure of, I’ve been reading on the internet to try and get the hang of it.
There are a lot of extras that can be purchased for this but when you do start to buy it all, it can work out expensive for e.g they do a foil tool, different types of pens and then not to mention all your card and vinyl. If you are purchasing this to craft cards, you need to purchase a separate cutting mat which we weren’t aware of, the card mat is also for American sizes so you need to purchase card specific to this or cut it down to fit. If you are purchasing it to transfer vinyl to cloth items, you will need a heat press and mat to do this and if you are purchasing it to transfer vinyl onto different items such as wood etc, you will need transfer tape and the scraping tool. As a first time crafter, I had no idea this was all needed.
Once you get what you need this little machine is great and capable of so many different things. I have made so many little craft projects, my favourite are gift tags, I’ll never have to buy another one. The machine itself is small and very easy to store and I love it, I love how versatile it is and Howe I can now make little gifts for family and friends. It makes such professional and beautiful gifts for family and friends. I think this machine is fantastic for beginners but just beware of all the little extras that you have to purchase as they are all separate.
Es una impresora PEQUEA pero ROBUSTA, y las maravilla que se pueden realizar con ella, son numerosas, y a cual mas original, mi hija, estaba detras de ella, y hasta que no se hizo con ella no paro, esta encantada con la misma.
Klein und handlich
Dieser Plotter ist klein und handlich. Braucht nicht viel Platz zur Aufbewahrung. Es ist auch ein gutes Gert fr jemanden der nicht viel plottet oder neu einsteigt. Allerdings wre es schn, wenn es die Erklrungen im Netz auch Schritt fr Schritt und auf Deutsch gbe. Nicht jeder kann so gut Englisch, dass er dies versteht. Fr jemanden, der neu einsteigt ist die Suche danach sehr mhsam.

Omg I am obsessed with it myself. The smart vinyl makes everything so much simpler not having to use the Cricut mats. She is 8 years old and has managed to work it herself and absolutely loves it!!! I love that you can use the pen with it too. I use this Joy more than the maker now as it is so much more convenient!

Great but think what you want to make?
Took me a while to link on to Bluetooth, when I did it was great. But wish I’d bought a bigger model. Great for little projects. Easy to use, light weight and good value.

Absolutely love this machine can do so much with it. Vinyl is abit expensive to buy if you go for the brand name but have found cheaper on eBay
un plotter compatto, piccolo ma dalle grandi potenzialit. Ottimo taglio, scrive benissimo e sapendo usare il programma abbinato si pu fare quasi tutto. Non taglia materiali rigidi, ma carta, vinile e acetato leggero si. Non ho provato la gomma crepla sottile….a parte ho acquistato un tappetino pi lungo e il tappetino per le card, che fantastico! Arriva con tappetino standard, lama da taglio, penna a punta fine nera,1 foglio di vinile argento satinato, 1 foglio di cartoncino colorato di spessore 216 gr, le istruzioni e il cavo elettrico con anche la riduzione per le prese di tipo inglese o americano. La consiglio a chi ha poco spazio come me e fa progetti di scrapbooking
Je suis fan de ma cricut, petite mais efficace, idale quand on dcouvre le monde des decoupes, je l’ai inaugur avec la ralisation du lettrage sur les faire part de mon fils, et franchement si je l’avais eu avant j’en aurai moins bav, seul bemol pour les appli smartphone compliques a utiliser avec souvent des messages d’erreur, je prfre le logiciel sur pc
Ein Plotter Light für kleine Projekte
Ich bin ein Fan von der ersten Minute. Ich hatte den Plotter immer mal wieder in Werbeanzeigen gesehen und fand ihn immer ziemlich spannend. Fr meine Zwecke reicht der Joy vllig aus und hat schon eine Menge toller Projekte gezaubert. Jedoch muss man bercksichtigen, dass es sich hier um einen Plotter Light handelt. Einige Optionen wie beispielsweise gravieren sind mit diesem Plotter nicht mglich. Dafr kostet aber auch quasi nur die Hlfte. Wer also einen Plotter fr eigene kleine Projekte ist hier sehr richtig. Sollten es jedoch grere und auch aufwendiger Projekte werden sollten man doch in einen greren Plotter investieren. Leider ist die App von Cricut leider noch nicht so ausgereift. Nicht alle Einstellungen fr die Projekte knnen in der App dargestellt werden. Eine grere Palette zur Gestaltung bietet sich nur in der Desktop Version am PC. Das finde ich schade.

The Joy is small and compact but very sturdy, I’m new to crafting with Cricut and I found this very easy to use, I’m loving using it, only problem is I’m having difficulty with thinking up new ideas of things to make, highly recommended, buy one, trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Kleines Teil, grosser Nutze
Sehr kompakter kleiner Plotter fr den Hobbygebrauch. Gute Verarbeitung und durch App kinderleicht verwendbar. Leider war im Lieferumfang die Probefolie zu kurz, htte ich keine mit dazu bestellt wre ein Probeschnitt nicht mglich gewesen. Aber tut nix an der Qualitt ab. Sehr zu empfehle

Ich habe bereits eine grosse manuelle Stanzmaschine, benoetigte jedoch eine elektronische Maschine, um Personalisierungen in unterschiedlichen Groessen machen zu koennen. Mit Metallstanzen ist man halt sehr beschraenkt, was Groessenvariabilitaet betrifft.
Da mein Bastelplatz beschraenkt ist, habe ich mich also duer die Joy entschieden und ich bereue nichts.
English kann heute fast jeder, aber auch ohne English kann man sowohl die Software als auch die Maschine benutzen. Fuer die Kreation von eigenen designs muss man jedoch ein Grafikprogramm benutzen, aber die bekommt man gratis im Internet.
Ja, die elektronischen Maschinen benoetigen etwas Einarbeitung, aber man kann m.E. einfach nicht erwarten, dass man nur einenn Knopf drueckt und alles geht von allein!
Ich bin hochzufrieden. Meine Schwester hat jetzt auch eine cricut joy und findet sie super.
Mein Fazit: Fuer Leute mit begrenztem Platz eine super Alternative.
Die Original-Materialien leider zu teuer, aber auch da gibt es Alternativen. DCfix zB funktioniert bestens.

Smaller compared to other machines
You cant print and cut unlike the other cricut machines its very small and compact was expecting something bigger, easy to use via design space
Ero tanto in dubbio se fare questo acquisto e invece….mi trovo benissimo, facile da usare, davvero molto intuitiva, tramite la sua app si possono usare basi gi preimpostate o crearne di altre. Davvero consigliato

Love this little machine I haven’t quite worked everything out but lots of you tube videos and stuff on instagram to help along the way good product for my own use. If you want it for business maybe go for one of the bigger ones but I’m happy with it for what I want to do.

I love this machine!! Its so neat and compact and looks super cute! But it really does what it says it does! Its quite easy to use. The software can look a bit scary at first (easy to download app) but once you have a play about it’s easy enough to figure out (and theres also YouTube if you need more help/ideas). I’ve used the pen to write and I’ve also cut the cricut iron on vinyl. This machine cuts amazing! The lines are so crisp and look so professional! I couldn’t believe how well my jumper turned out and this was literally my 1st time using it and playing about with it. (Ps. I love this machine!! Its so neat and compact and looks super cute! But it really does what it says it does! Its quite easy to use. The software can look a bit scary at first (easy to download app) but once you have a play about it’s easy enough to figure out (and theres also YouTube if you need more help/ideas). I’ve used the pen to write and I’ve also cut the cricut iron on vinyl. This machine cuts amazing! The lines are so crisp and look so professional! I couldn’t believe how well my jumper turned out and this was literally my 1st time using it and playing about with it. (Ps. Ein super kleines Teil. Macht lust auf mehr. Dieses kleine Ding ermglicht einen kleinen Einblick in die plotterwelt.praktisch fr kleine Designs und wenn man nicht soviel Platz hat, schnell rausgeholt kann man seiner Kreativitt freien Lauf lassen.
Die Software ist bedienerfreundlichen und ist noch ausbaufhig. Gibt zahlreiche YouTube Videos dort wird alles schn erklrt. Super das man kein pc braucht geht alles per Handy oder tablet.
Ganz klare Kauf Empfehlung, als nchstes kommt der groe Bruder der Marker.

Super Plotter fr den Preis.Wurde direkt ausgepackt und getestet(siehe Bilder)die Bedienung ist sehr gut erklrt.Dadurch das der Plotter nicht so gro ist, ist es natrlich auch gleichzeitig platzsparend.Folie ist beigefgt,wurde aber direkt noch nachbestellt. Auf jeden Fall beide Daumen hoch

Questo mini plotter l’ideale per un utilizzo da hobbista e quindi sporadico.
Si realizzano lavori piccoli ma di impatto. Il giusto per le mie esigenze.
Precisa nel taglio e nella scrittura (in quanto la lama pu essere sostituita dalla penna).
Se non dovete realizzare grandi lavori e soprattutto, non vi serve per un’attivit a pieno regime, questa Joy perfetta!

Great machine. Just think about what you want to do with it and that will guide you regarding getting this , the explorer or the maker. However, this is a versatile piece of kit. I wanted to cut leather and thicker materials so for me this wasn’t the ideal purchase.

… ich konnte die zwei Tage Wartezeit bis der Kleine geliefert wurde kaum abwarten. Wollte ich doch gleich ein paar Schriftzge fr ein Shirt plotten. Dann kam er endlich und nach knapp einer Stunde ausprobieren fiel dann bereits die Entscheidung, dass ich ihn zurck schicke. Ich komme von der Silhoutte Cameo Front, habe allerdings noch das erste Modell und bin nicht so wahnsinnig verwhnt was Komfort angeht. Allerdings ist die Software fr den Cricut wirklich ein Witz. Das haben schon einige auf YouToube erkannt und erwhnt, aber ich dachte, wenn ein Gert so viele Anhnger findet, kann es sooooo schlecht doch gar nicht sein. Doch, dem ist so.
Vielleicht bin ich von Silhouette Studio einfach zu verwhnt, aber ich hatte doch deutlich mehr erwartet. Dabei wollte ich gezielt ein Gert, was sich bers iPad steuern lsst. Etwas was mir bei Silhouette wirklich fehlt.
Aber ich schweife ab. Der kleine Cricut Joy wird mit extrem sprlichem Zubehr geliefert. Lediglich eine Schneidematte, Messer, eine Vinylfolie und ein Stck Papier waren mit dabei. Ich habe auf eine eigene Plotterfolie zurckgegriffen, falls ich das Gert zurcksenden wrde (was ich ja auch werde). Das habe ich auf die Mae 11×16 cm zugeschnitten und auf die beiliegende kleine Schnittmatte aufgebracht. Das ging recht einfach. Der Schriftzug wurde sehr ordentlich und przise zugeschnitten, da gibt es nichts. Also die Qualitt des Endproduktes ist in Ordnung. Allerdings ist das Gert eher fr Leute, die auch wirklich das spezielle Zubehr fr den Joy benutzen mchte und da ist die Auswahl in Deutschland zur Zeit noch nicht besonders ppig. Ich habe bestimmt fnf Minuten gebraucht, weil ich eine eigene Folie hatte, die nicht in der Auswahl aufgelistet war, weil dort nur das Zubehr fr Cricut zu finden ist. Den Stift habe ich dann gar nicht erst ausprobiert.
Fazit: Fr Leute mit zu viel Geld 😉 oder fr absolute Einsteiger mit wenig Platz, ist das Gert bestimmt eine Zeit lang eine gute Sache. Aber wer wirklich Spa an diesem Hobby findet und gerne auch mal was anderes als Karten herstellen mchte (und nicht auf den Store von Cricut zugreifen mchte), dem wrde ich das Gert auf keinen Fall empfehlen.
Die Maschine selbst ist super, die Software leider eine Zumutung.
Ich nutze das Abo gar nicht, sondern arbeite erst mit Inkscape und lade das Design dann in die Cricut-Software. Die Software hat etliche Bugs und ist aus meiner Sicht nicht gut. Daher gibt es auch einen Stern Abzug.
Die Hardware an sich ist gut und kompakt. Persnlich wrde ich mir noch einen USB-Anschluss wnschen, aber mit Bluetooth kommt man auch hin.
Das Gert mag ja ganz ok sein, aber die dazugehrige Software und der Support ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Man muss ein Abo abschlieen, um mit Dateien der Software arbeiten zu knnen. Aber da fngt es an: es wird unterschieden zwischen US und UK/Australien und Rest der Welt. Kaufen kann man in Deutschland ( Rest der Welt) nur ber ein IOS oder Android Gert.
Viele, die lieber am Desktop arbeiten, geben falsche US-Adressen ein, um das Problem zu umgehen. Und selbst, wenn man es ber zB den Appstore von IOS managed, ist es keinesfalls gewhrleistet, dass es dann klappt. Der Support scheint berlastet, denn es kann 2-3 Wochen dauern, bis sich jemand meldet, einen Vorschlag macht – und dann kann man wieder tagelang warten. Ich habe jetzt mein Gert seit ca 3 Wochen. Die 4 Wochen Probeabo sind mehr oder weniger ungenutzt verstrichen und alles, was ich vorhatte, konnte nicht realisiert werden.
Klare ” lieber abwarten” – Empfehlung!

Nachdem Cricut die Software ge-updated hat, funktioniert das kleine Maschinchen ganz gut. Es ist schnell und schafft auch filigrane Muster. Um mal eben eine Glckwunschkarte o anzufertigen, ist die Joy sehr gut geeignet.
Para empezar con este tipo de maquinas esta muy bien, es la mas barata del mercado y de tamao pequeo que no ocupa mucho. PEROS que pongo, al ser el modelo barato de cricut, no tiene otro tipo de cuchillas de mas profundidad, lo que hace que corte materias finos, por ejemplo goma eva no corta. El otro pero es el ancho del dibujo que puedes hacer es de unos 11cm…..Es lo que tiene ser el modelo barato. pero dicho esto esta muy bien para empezar lo que pasa que en mi caso al poco tiempo queria el modelo mas grande, ya que se coge el gusto pronto y este modelo NO TIENE ningun gachet que si tienen los modelos mas caros

Da es jedoch so viel gibt, was Sie damit tun knnen, kann es eine Menge verschiedener dinge zur Verwendung bringen. Auerdem muss man jeden Monat viel fr eine App bezahlen. Es wre schn wenn man sein eigene Logo machen konnte oder sein Eigene Design machen konnte da braucht man nicht immer so viel runter laden und viel bezahlen manchmal ist das sehr teuer.

Good all round product, easy to setup and cuts the vinyl well. Would recommend only buying cricut vinyl as it can struggle with 3rd party stuff.
The Joy is great, the app Design space is a bit slow sometimes and will stop working and say I’ve lost internet and I have to restart it a lot. The machine is fun and easy to use. I’ve made insert cards, vinyl on clothes, a lot of vinyl on walls, containers, earrings from cardstock and other things. A tip is not to buy smart vinyl, instead you should buy regular vinyl a lot of people have problems with it and it is more expensive.

Habe es meiner Frau zum Geburtstag geschenkt…. wirklich erstaunlich was das kleine Ding kann ! – das schnste ist, dass es bers iPad gesteuert wird, kein PC hochfahren, alles rucki zucki und unkompliziert !!! Kann ich nur empfehle

So impressed with my Cricut Joy! Can’t stop using it. Easy to use and you can create some amazing designs
LOVE IT, spent hours using it already. However because there is so much you can do with it, it can get loads of different things to use it can be a bit confusing in what to use for what. Also you have to pay a lot for a app every month and the materials are quite expensive to go with the machine

Love my Joy . Only down side is that blade isn’t as sharp after 10 cards same with mat not sticky eithe
