Very happy with the machine, quite difficult to remove the ice cream from the mixing bowl.
Don’t normally spend the time writing reviews for online shopping as I never have the time; but this really deserves a review! Brilliant piece of kit…easy to use the ice cream it makes is delicious. Thoroughly worth spending a little more and getting a good ice cream maker. I spent user 50 before and it wasn’t up to much at all. Sometimes you do get what you pay for!!
Good design, low noise level and very efficient! Does exactly as described and makes perfect ice cream.
Love this ice cream maker. Last night was a mix of extra thick cream, double cream sugar and Baileys Chocolat Luxe 8% by weight, blitz it all with a stick blender to make it smoother, freeze till the following day:-)
Very easy to use and a vast improvement on our previous ice cream maker, where you had to freeze the bowl before attaching the mixing lid. Haven’t looked back since starting to use it and have made some delicious ice creams. Definitely recommend this. It may be pricey but worth it. It is quite large, so you’ll need to find somewhere to store it when not in use.
Having used a Cuisinart ICE40 requiring pre-freezing of the tubs for several years, I wanted to upgrade to a machine with its own freezer compressor & having read several reviews, chose the ICE100. In the few weeks I’ve had it I’ve made a couple of ‘egg custard’ vanilla ice creams & many of the basic vanilla ice cream to match with my homemade raspberry & blackberry ripples. It’s easy to use, reasonably quiet in operation & produces consistently great ice cream.
Best of the best for a reason. Bought others and returned. this one is for keeps

The machine is quite heavy so usually my husband has to help with the lifting. It does make some noise, but its not so distracting. I have had it on while we had guests and we were not bothered by it.
I would definitely recommend this machine, I have hd mine for 2 years and just bought one for my sister.
I find it very good quality for the price you pay.
Easy instructions ,turns mix into frozen dessert, then what is left can be transferred to the freezer for later…….perfect .

Its a nice piece and does make ice cream making easy. Only reason for 4 star is my lcd display was faulty. The cente horizontal display line is not working on my new maker.
Great to have a machine that I don’t have to freeze bowls.
The only thing I’d say was slightly disappointing was that in all of the on-line videos showing this they all have a hinged flap in the lid to add ingredients during mixing, well here in the UK you don’t get this as it’s only supplied with a solid lid and the only way to have one is to import it from the US.
But it makes fantastic ice-cream and does a great job, exactly what we wanted.
This was replacement for a Cuisineart unit that proved to be faulty and although costing a reasonable amount more it has proven its worth to date with great sorbets and ice creams.

This was an impulse buy for me but has turned out to be a gift to myself that keeps on giving. Great for treating people to what commercial ice creams and sorbets can never be. Home made rum and raisin ice cream is a revelation.
Thought we would treat ourselves. Fantastic machine. Really pleased. Having lovely ice cream and at least know all the ingredients we are eating. No additives!!

I’m very pleased with this. Never made icecream before and my first attempt was a great success. Clear instructions and easy to use.
I have used this machine for over a year now, and produced a fair number of kilos of good quality gelato with it. Not as quick as the cheaper in-freezer gelato makers but definitely produces better textured product.

It certainly is a time saver as it makes ice cream very swiftly and moreover makes a good soft textured one. Unfortunately I have not tried making any Sorbet in it. We use a lot more Sorbet than Ice-creams,a much healthier option.

We made maple pecan at christmas time, and the fresh crisp pecans which hadn’t had the chance to go soggy after sitting in a store freezer or freezer van were an absolute revelation. Incredible!
After seeing some of the other reviews here, I think it’s time to think about some coffee flavoured icecream!
The really wonderful thing about this machine is that you don’t have to wait in between batches – there’s no need to find space in your freezer for a giant bowl to pre-freeze before churning – you just finish one batch with one flavour, and move onto the next batch with a different flavour!
Update 3 years on – this machine is still going strong and has had zero issues. Still a five star purchase.

Well worth the money, the icecream it makes is lovely and only takes 45min for a plain vanilla icecream. We have found ourselfs making batches for family members and there loving the tastes.

I have now used this a few times and it is straightforward. Ice cream is good and makes within the time frame stated. Before buying I had read reviews regarding the noise of the machine. I have no issue with the noise, it is less noisy than my microwave. It is quite bulky and I intend to have an additional socket installed in my utility room as I feel it has already earned its counter space!
