Used for about 8 months, was an Amazon Warehouse Used-As New item, only the packaging showed signs of damage. Did everything it was meant you do, but 7 mints into it, the top of the central “tube” (not sure what to call it) started developing problems, shaving off bits of plastic during use. This was becoming worse the more it was used, so I reached out to Amazon customer service, 5* to Amazon, not so much for the food processor!

Now replacing with a food processor that has glass/ metal construction, not big brand, being offered at a very refundable price at the moment.

    Plastic hmm...

I’ve had this for a few months now, so glad I bought it, cuts (pun intended) down on prep time so much. All the attachments work very well, blades extremely sharp and works with harder veggies such as carrots and potatoes. Cheese grating is easy and FAST, perfect for hard Parmesan, Manchego etc.

If you overload it the machine will move about, so make sure you put in just the right amount.

No tiny nooks and crannies you can’t get to, so it’s easy to clean. I hand wash everything with a soft sponge.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersResearched the market for a medium sized processor with a variety of slicing/grating options and this certainly fits the bill. Used so far for veg prep which becomes easy and fast with this machine. As a new food processor user, it took a couple of goes the first time to work out how to fit it all together and now find easy to use – and easy to clean. I’m very pleased with it.

Cuts veggies really well, once you get the hang of the machine. Treat it gently and it will behave.

This machine is so easy to use that I have my wife using it. Only a few weeks old but has become an indispensable tool in the kitchen for grating, slicing, mixing chopping. Nothing has fazed it as yet (even the dates mentioned by another reviewer were no problem) – would definitely recommend and great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had a magimix 3l food processor for many years. It was very expensive and to be honest a waste of space, it didn’t whisk egg whites or ‘cream’ cake batter anywhere near as well as the mixer I went onto to buy. It’s not a brand I would use again. It’s only advantage was replacement bowls etc could be purchased. In the end I gave it to my son. This Cuisinart is probably a third of the price of a small magimix, it does lack it’s heavy solidness which is worth bearing in mind if you are lifting it off a shelf or out of a cupboard, but not sure if the build quality is fantastic, the exterior is plastic. I didn’t notice any great movement when in use so hopefully it won’t leap off my counter top and I don’t think it was any noisier than the magimix. It takes up slightly less space than my magimix and the bowls are smaller, which is what I wanted. I found using the large bowl and chopping blade to make breadcrumbs a little under powered, so it took more than a quick blitz. I imagine pastry might be easier and not at risk of being overworked. The fine grating blade was however quick and produced a finer grate than the Magimix. There is no storage container for the grating/slicing discs or the two chopping blades just the flimsy plastic covers it was packed with and which you are told to use to store them in. The instructions were straight forward and they do warn you to be careful when handling the attachments. My thumb can confirm the blades are very, very sharp! It’s not a mini processor but if you want to make litres of soup I would suggest a liquidiser instead. It’s early days but overall I’m pleased and very glad to take advantage of Amazon’s interest free monthly instalment plan.

Nothing to get too excited about, it does the jobs you need (slicing, grating, mixing) but it doesn’t feel very solid.
The carrot grating is not super, it seems not able to deal with carrots that much, and leaves quite big chunks ungrated. For slicing (I used it with courgettes primarily) it does a better job. Finally, it mixes dough well enough but I wouldn’t recommend it with enthusiasm…

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersIt’s not crazy powerful, so your hummus will not be silky smooth. It blends liquid things quite well, but struggles with dryer things. Grating/slicing attachments, are great, use them a lot for making salads, like slicing cucumbers really finely. The small bowl I don’t use at all almost… Mixing bread I wouldn’t be so confident, as it starts shaking a lot with dry mixtures… Overall, it’s good helper in the kitchen, but if you want super smooth silky blending, you’ll need to invest into something more powerful…

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTreated myself to this after the one I had inherited from a great aunt started so make a horrible electrical smell (it was probably bought in the 90’s!). Looks so beautiful and love the fact it has a smaller and larger bowl as it means not having to clean the big bowl each time. Easy to clean as it all goes on the top shelf of the dishwasher and comes out sparkling (although I do tend to rinse it out before hand). Great for making pestos and curry pastes, would highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI decided to go for this processor when my compact kenwood bowl got broken .i could have replaced that but I had it for along time and wanted a larger one. I based my decision on reviews on Amazon and on another review site in which it was in the top 10 .
I do a lot of cooking so use it most days . I am really pleased with it . It sits nicely on the worktop and seems well made and sturdy .
I have successfully made pastry ,crumble and pizza dough in it
The graters are great ! and the slicer works well too . I have only had it a short time so will review again in a few months but very happy for now. I knocked a star off for value based on the fact that most of these appliances are quite expensive generally

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersLove this as much as my previous Cuisinarts, tho it is smaller. There is a small bowl and a larger one, 2 blades and other attachments. One small annoyance – all my previous processors and choppers had blades that covered the pin upon which they spinned – this one, the pin goes thru the blade so it gets covered in whatever you are processing – ?! So ridiculous since previous models didn’t have this flaw? Anyway it is just a cleaning issue, but when it’s guacamole and similar stuff, it is hard to clean the pin thoroughly. Otherwise love it completely!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’m very pleased with this Cuisinart food processor. I bought it primarily to enable me to shred vegetables finely (for fermentation) which it can do with ease. I’ve also used it to make (for the first time) mayonnaise and butter and I’m going to also start making my own hazelnut flour soon! It’s also great for mixing cake ingredients. The bonus for me is that it fits very tidily into a cupboard under the worktop in my very bijou kitchen so it’s not a pain to get in or out.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLoving this. Wanted a small footprint food processor principally for slicing and grating. It really does the job well without leaving too much residue at the bottom of the chute. The chopping blade is less good though. But I’m happy with what I bought it for.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersWanted a compact “helper” on the work surface that would do more things than a mini processor. This is very good. It doesn’t take up much more space than “mini” and it grates and slices enough to be really useful. The big bowl size is excellent for pastry and crumble for 3-4.
