I bought this coffee maker at a very good price. I love it. Makes a variety of excellent cups of coffee whether you want expresso or latte. I buy good quality coffee capsules, usually Nespresso own with next day free delivery and recycle the spent capsules.
It does take a while to set it up, finding out the hardness of your water and programming your favourite coffee but don’t short cut this . The actual making of the coffee takes no time at all!

This my third Nespresso pod machine and by far the best; so easy to use, makes great coffee, has large water and milk containers, so easy to clean and clear easy to read instructions are displayed on the top of the m/c to remind you when the water needs topping up or the milk heater/frother needs cleaning and even reminds you to put the milk frother back in the fridge
Dealing with milk frother you have to be careful to bee very clean.
Bought to replace same machine which has been hammered every day seven days a week.I drink a lot of coffee perhaps as many as ten each day.My favourite a cappuccino ,this machine has been able to produce surprisingly well and that is why when faced with buying another half price I did not hesitate.It is now in reserve for when my original four year old machine gives up the ghost.Only downside bit of a job to clean milk frother. thanks
This machine is fantastic and produces exceptional coffee. It is made to produce coffee using the nespresso coffee pod system.
Nespresso coffee pods can work out cheaper than other coffee machine brands and there is a fantastic choice of different blends. You absolutely can tell the difference in the quality of the coffee you get and having previously owned a more generally popular coffee machine the drinks are not comparable, that is not to knock other coffee machines as they make great every day coffee.
This is important to think about if you are investing in this type of machine, I really love this coffee so the purchase suited my needs but with any sort of pod system, depending on how many coffees you drink it is worth factoring in the price of the pods. At the time of writing this review nespresso pods are between 33p – 41p each and come in boxes of ten.
They do not sell the pods in supermarkets (although other brands do make compatible pods, I have tried some but have yet to find any that are nearly as good as the nespresso ones). Delivery of the pods is very easy either to your home or a local store network, and the website is very easy to navigate. You can also purchase from nespresso boutiques, which are dotted around the country. I have included this detail as I think it is worth consideration before you purchase.
The machine itself is very well made, looks good and is easy to clean. It feels well made and when you register it with Nespresso you get an automatic warranty which is great.
The milk frother is very good if you are likely to be making latte or cappuccino regularly. It heats up the milk quickly and produces a nice milk froth which you can control via a dial on the attachment. You can store it in the fridge for up to two days with milk in it which can be very handy. The milk frother does not need to be on the machine unless you are using it which is a good feature.
The machine makes 3 different coffee sizes with pre programmed touch button controls. It is possible to alter the volume of coffee produced by following the instructions in the manual which is relatively straight forward. The machine has a further 3 touch buttons programmed for latte, cappuccino and frothy milk.
I use my machine daily, I love the coffee it produces and consider this to be one of my best purchases in a very long time. If you are looking for a nespresso coffee machine, this is an excellent choice.

Excellent value for money, especially when I got this on Boxing Day. This one is easy to clean. The Rapid-Cappuccino-System is something like plastic material, so I can wash it by the dishwasher or by hand and don’t need to worry about the abrasion problem.
I got it for about half a month and it works well till now.

Really pleased with my coffee machine, works a treat. Coffee is hot and the milk is frothy, by the time I have grabbed my cup the machine is ready to use and makes all types of coffee to anyone’s taste, especially me who likes milk with her coffee. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and two teenage sons. They all love it and take great delight in using frequently (too frequently their mother thinks). Another factor was what a handsome piece of gear it is and looks great in the kitchen.

Got a really good deal for this in sales, with 150 off the RRP of 270 this is a great machine for the price. I wouldn’t pay full price though, but that’s just me being tight.
Really easy to use, all automatic once you’ve set up the parameters. Milk dispenser is easy to dismantle and reassemble for cleaning. Internal workings are cleaned by the machine.

Great features like being able to take off the milk tank and pop it in the fridge, only draw back for me is that main drip tray (not the small removable one) doesn’t come off so you have to squish a cloth/paper towel in between the groves…other than that it’s pretty cool

I have received this nespresso machine & I was honestly VERY excited since I’m a coffee lover! However when it arrived I was a bit disappointed with my order .. the coffee machine had a milk bottle, but the aspiration tube inside it was missing! I looked throughout the box but it wasn’t anywhere to be found. I was very disappointed since I trusted Amazon & I knew that in the past all my purchases arrived to me in a perfect condition EXCEPT this one. In the end, I think I’ll just drop by the nearest nespresso shop and buy the plastic tube for extra money 🙁

Best coffee maker I’ve had and I’ve tried various types! Love the way it can automatically add frothy milk. Then you can put the milk container in the fridge! Also the coffee capsules can easily be recycled at Collect+ stores!!
It’s a good machine, great coffee, simple to use and convenient but yes, as other reviews say the temperature of the coffee varies. I always warm the cups up with boiling water from the kettle first, it’s a must otherwise you will experience Luke warm coffee’s from time to even after warming the cup it still happens at times. But, it’s simple and quick to use, clean and maintain (thus far is the six months we have used it).

Milk doesn’t come out as hot as I’d like but the machine itself is well built and not as noisy as a previous machine. Very quick to dispense too.

I had this purchased as a Christmas present. I often get lattes whilst out which is why I had this bought. This is on par if not better than most. There are over 50 types of pods to purchase and most taste good. The machine is very sturdy and built to last.

It’s soo beautiful machain except the temperature of coffee it’s warm not hot.
Very narked to get back to this page to write the review and find that the machine is now 20 less than I paid less than a week ago!
As for the machine itself, it’s pretty solidly built (though while the product page says it’s made of stainless steel there’s more than a few plastic panels on it, just FYI). I bought it to replace a Tassimo machine, which required you to use these “milk discs” if you wanted milky coffees. Those consisted of UHT milk and I found them very nasty. This looked far better.
The biggest difference between the Tassimo and this machine was that the Tassimo pretty much configured itself based on the barcode of the inserted disc, whereas you have to do more of the setup yourself. There’s nothing stopping you from using an Espresso pod to make a Lungo drink and vice versa, so you have to remember to check the type of pod you’re putting in the machine and press the right button. The machine also won’t stop you running water through the same pod twice so don’t forget to eject used pods.
Aside from the fundamental differences between Tassimo and Nespresso this machine has a few annoying quirks. The basic controls are fairly clear once you understand which symbol is an espresso, which is a latte, etc, but the menu is quite frankly a nightmare. If I didn’t know better I’d swear that the whole thing was deliberately designed to discourage you from tinkering with it. The drip tray is not height adjustable and the default height is too high to allow the kinds of coffee mugs most of us have lying around the place fit under the spout. This means you have to do without it when using such a cup, and as the nozzle tends to drip more than the Tassimo nozzle did after brewing you’ll probably have to give the base of the machine a good wipe down. The pods get ejected into a storage bin when used which seems like a good idea at first, but if you forget to empty it then you can get problems with pods jamming in the machine. The water tank is at the back, as opposed to the side on the Tassimo machine, making it rather awkward to access for fitting and removal.
But for all its quirks it does do the most important job right, it does make really good coffee, though the lattes are way too milky. You can get around that by using 2 shots of coffee per latte but that of course means using two pods. Speaking of pods, you do also get a fairly generous assortment of pods supplied with the machine so you don’t have to splash out on lots of different pods to find your favourite brew. Pod availability is a bit annoying as the Nespresso-brand ones are not available in supermarkets, only from their own shops or via ordering online. However, there are plenty of third-party alternatives available that are sold in supermarkets, though I can’t vouch to their quality as I’ve not tried any yet.
On the whole I’d recommend it, especially at the lower price than the one I paid (which I’m REALLY annoyed about, did I mention?)

If you are thinking of buying a new coffee machine then just get this. Its beautifully made with all the sections fitting in perfectly for cleaning etc. The coffee tastes great too with plenty of options to suit everyone. My wife loves very strong espresso, and I like the cappucino options from nespresso. Some good deals on bigger boxes over on nespresso too as well as amazon.

Fantastic Black Friday updgrads from our previous nespresso machine with seperate milk frother. This is well worth the full price, makes cafe standard coffee at the touch of a button. Well thought out design with easy clean function, push away cup stand and fridge friendly milk storing cube. Absolutely love it!
My old EC850 was becoming very unreliable and I needed to replace it. Having now been used to a ‘cappuccino system’ (milk frother), I wanted to keep this feature – and settled for this capsule-based system.
Having used other capsule systems before, I did delay the purchase – but I needn’t have worried. The coffee from this machine is excellent – and whilst that obviously depends on the quality of the ‘pods’ you get, the milk-frother does play a big part in this.
The froth is denser / finer than the EC850 – which at first was a bit worrying, but I soon got to love it. You get a frothy-coffee right down to the bottom of the cup – whereas I’d been used to my old one just having froth on the top.
Compared to the EC850 it’s replacing, it’s a lot smaller (which my wife loves). But the water reservoir seems smaller – as does the milk system (although I’m now used to more froth, and therefore more milk gets used up). One other annoying feature is that the water reservoir is round the back – so you really can’t see when it’s getting low.
Having said all that, the ability to swap between coffee types is great. You get about 20 capsules with the unit, and I then got the 100 selection pack from Nespresso’s site. It’s certainly far more enjoyable to have a different type of coffee each day than just the coffee from the tin you’ve most recently opened. Loving it…
I FIND IT CHEEKY THAT THIS WAS 179 WHEN I BOUGHT IT BUT FOR BLACK FRIDAY WAS PUT UP 100 TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS REDUCED FOR 200. SO GLAD WE BOUGHT OURS WEEKS AGO!
My partner bought this after finding himself spending so much in the likes of Starbucks and Costa for what is just glorified machine coffee. Quick delivery and he’s never looked back. Lovely little machine and does the milk perfectly – which we were a little concerned about as we only use soya milk in the house but it still manages to ‘stretch’ the soya milk as well as they do in the shops. Cannot really fairly fault the machine – looks lovely on the side.
Only downsides which we were particularly aware of before we bought it and is not enough of a criticism to not rate it 5 stars:
– You have to clean the milk bit every other day which is a bit of a faff. Lots of little parts to take apart and clean. Although it states in the manual that this can got through the dishwasher I’m a little nervous of the dishwasher ruining it the same way that tupperware goes. It has been through the dishwasher once and so far hasn’t had any issues.
– Its a little noisy
– You are very restricted with the pods that fit and the flavours available. But then, they’re still yum.

Very good Nespresso machine. Its not the cheapest model out there but very well built and well thought through. It feels solid and does every thing you need at the press of a single button. Produces good coffee, heats the milk (and froths if required). You can adjust the measures to suit your own cups. And it even cleans its own pipes at the press of another button.

It’s an unobtrusive size and the colour fits perfectly in her new kitchen. She uses Nespresso pods and has found a recycling drop off point near her work so keeping the environment healthy too!
Great machine didn’t notice that the coffee wasn’t hot enough as the lattissima touch has more power wattage than the lattissima plus , my wife and me love the machine it’s very convenient and easy to use .we did americanos and cappuccino and espresso shots , great milk frothing capability

Worth it. This machine is really easy to use and oozes quality. The coffee that it makes is absolutely amazing compared to other machines that I tried at some of my friends home. Simple and easy to clean. Love the the milk carafe that not only sits well but also easy take out and place in the fridge.
We’re very happy with the Nespresso Lattissima. We bought it as our old coffee maker was quite clunky, difficult to clean, and not particularly fast. The lattissima is exceptionally easy to use and works so quickly. The quality of the coffees is fantastic – and it’s great to have the milk integrated into the machine. It has a cleaning button which works super easily. Overall we’re very happy with it!
Amazing machine! I definitely recommend it for those who like to appreciate nice macchiatos, cappuccinos or normal coffees. They taste better then any coffees from Starbucks! (Depends on how you prepare it and what kind of sugar you use though). The machine is easy to clean and it’s really well designed.

Love this machine, we can comfortably make 4 large cappuccinos without needing to top up the milk. The aerochino frother we had before would only make two, this is much more convenient.
The cup sizes are programmable (press nad hold the button, this can control the milk and coffee timings) we use one button for my wife’s preference and another for me.

Was recommended to get one of these, so when it was on offer, I jumped at the chance. My only complaint is that although advertised as white… It is definitely not a brilliant white, in fact, quite a pink/ beige white. It’s ok, but wouldn’t suit someone who wanted a proper dazzling brilliant white to blend and go with their decor.

Very nice packaging, love the product as it makes a perfect morning coffee.. Love the attachable milk container. Been using for couple of months with no problems. Easy to c lean as well. i recommend to buy coffee tablets directly from Nespresso website as it will be cheaper for you and they provide a perfect service.

Didn’t think making coffee was so easy. This machine does everything that I wanted it for. Milk and water containers are easy to fill in, fit and clean. Instructions to use were clear and delivery really quick. Overall happy with the purchase.
We’ve gone from a jar of instant to this mother of pod coffee machines and it has civilised us utterly! Not only does it take the Nespresso pods, it also creates hot frothy milk to make delish hot chocs. The milk container goes in the fridge and the machine tells you to clean it after each use so it’s all v hygienic. We constantly forgot to pull out the spout and delivered milk all over the worktop, but now we put it in the fridge with the spout out, so prob solved. It fits the milk shelf in the fridge door and goes in the dishwasher with no hassle.
They’ve really thought through the design (presumably this is an nth generation machine) so it’s v intuitive. Defo worth programming the milk amount for your own mugs.
Incredibly compact and friendly. Main prob was the cats getting used to the sound which scared the living daylights out of them for the first few days.

Love this. I love my lattes so i get through the milk quite quickly so would consider the pro when it needs replacing but so happy with my purchase so far. It’s neat and tidy and there is no mess for the same or possibly better tasting coffee than I used to make with my dualit.
Great coffee maker, so many variations of coffee, still experimenting, having fun doing so. Have tried both Nespresso coffee and other’s but will stick to the originals as much better. Would recommend to anyone, shop around though as I found this 90.00 cheaper online than many leading retail outlets.
