Dualit Jug Kettle
This practical 1-litre cordless jug kettle shares all the benefits of the 1.5 litre kettle, with a smaller, space saving element. The large viewing window on both sides features cup level indicators so that you only boil the amount of water you need, saving on time and electricity. The hinged easy-fill lid is easy to use and has a large heatproof knob with finger guard to prevent burning.
The Jug Kettle uses a powerful concealed element for a faster boiling time. The boil-dry safety feature switches the kettle off if it’s empty.

This is my second purchase of the Dualit lightweight 1L kettle. I mainly use my coffee machine so have no need for a large kettle. I ruined my first one by inadvertantly putting heavy duty descaler in it. That was not the fault of the kettle. I am disabled and this little kettle is a help when I have to use it as its so lightweight. It matches the toaster I bought to match it. In fact, I used both models in a holiday let a few years ago and was very taken by their retro yet clean lines. Love it.

The firm lid that some have complained about is designed to be adjustable. The instructions explain how to loosen it by pressing in the 2 metal clips on the lid.
Boils just the. Right amount of water for two, thus saving electricity.
I am already the owner of this lovely little Dualit Kettle for the past 6 years and it still looks and works as new, so I’m sure I’ve made the right decision to purchased yet another one as a gift for my friend who has always admired mine in the hope she will enjoy using it as much as I have mine.

The reason for just 4 stars is the lid is to stiff to pull out.

Bought this along with the 2 toaster the kettle feels somewhat higher quality much sturdier. I love this. Looks great, compact only 3 cups but more than adequate for 3 of us and we have a small kitchen so doesn’t over power the space like a huge kettle. I had a one cup instant boil kettle before and a pain when cooking and needing a full jug of water so this is enough for that too. Not heavy to hold and pour lovey grip so also also great for elderly I would say if you can’t lift a large kettle.
– only minus is how long it takes to boil but as I said been used to a very fast boil so may be on bar with standard kettles, plenty of time to tidy up whilst waiting!
I have hand/wrist issues and have struggled with kettles for years (especially being in hard water area where every use requires rinse out and fresh water). Often only making tea for one or two, so had been looking at travel kettles. But they’re not great looking… And lo and behold – I would this little beauty. It’s pretty much identical to the ‘normal’ size one I have. So I bought it a few months ago… Well, I absolutely think it is the best thing ever! It’s a bit weird to admit, but it has transformed my tea making experience..! I would not hesitate to recommend to someone with hand/wrist problems, and doesn’t need to make tea for groups of people. I use a large mug and reckon it’ll boil 3-4 mugs. It’s so light, looks dead cute and takes up less room on the worktop. Brilliant all round..!

Easy to use, great for boiling enough water for one or two, but will do more if needed. Saves throwing water away. Love it. My eldest daughter now wants one!!
This is an ideal kettle for making 3 mugs of tea/coffee. I usually buy a big kettle and boil too much water so I went for a smaller size. Excellent fast boil kettle, well made and of course being Dualit has a guarantee.
This is our second Dualit kettle. We had the first one for many years and it was still working but the plastic window started to degrade and break up on the inside.
We so love this kettle that we ordered this identical one again.
It was an Amazon Warehouse one at a much reduced price but was in absolutely perfect condition and we are delighted with it.
Ideal fir two people although it will hold at least four mugs of water.
Boiling speed good and it pours without drips etc.

This is an adorable stainless steel kettle with cream handle and base. Second time I’ve bought one (for new house). It’s great for a bedroom as it’s not too big, and it’s great in the kitchen for tea making as the shape makes it easy to hold and pour and it can hold enough water for a few cups of tea. My other one las lasted for a few years and is still going. Perfect for a cream colour scheme.
I ordered the canvas white and it’s a lovely shade of creamy white!
I love the way you can wind the lead underneath if too much! It’s also stainless steel inside!
It is a good looking kettle, it is functional, it’s quiet until it gets to the just about to boil stage. Quick to boil and bright addition to my kitchen and actually space saving.
Overall would recommend as it surpasses other kettles I looked at!

Bought this for my parents… they love it. Ideal for two people and they do drink lots of tea! Neat and compact boils quickly and is easy to use, everything you expect from Dualit. Love the cream colour not as dark as many creams. Easy to fill with a flip back lid. The descale mesh is easy to remove as it’s near the spout and easy to access. A good size when space is an issue in the kitche

Have not noticed any ‘water-flavor’ many reviewers said about other kettles on amazon.
It is noisy at boiling point. But that is because I keep it in front of me at my pc desk for quick boils.

his is a great kettle ideal for a caravan etc I misjudged the size of it but it is no problem as they is only 2 of us it makes 2 med size mugs of tea / coffee. it is a nice kettle and easy to clean with a soft cloth. For 2 people I reccomend it.

This model at 1 litre rather than 1.5 looks significantly smaller than the larger version. We were conscious that with the bigger kettle we tended to boil more water than needed and this smaller version provides enough boiled water for two large mugs/ cafetiere so more efficient for us on electric.
Kettle is sturdy pours neatly without spilling just like the old one.

I would say you get four decent cup fulls as stated so ideal for a single person such as me. Would not be ideal for a family of four or more who enjoy pint mugs of tea, coffee or other hot liquid drinks.
The lid is firm to open which is no problem to me but may be difficult if you have a restricted grip.
Cleaning is simple for me as after each pour I wipe down with a dry cloth as I like the shiny steel as it compliments my other counter top kitchen appliances.
Presently can not fault it and takes up considerably less space than my previous kettle.
If you require a compact kettle that’s does what it’s meant to do with no fuss I would say this is ideal.
