If comparing to previous models throughout the years, I find this controller to be the most fun and ergonomically comfortable. Sony’s haptic feedback and sensitive vibration is a very fun feature and creates an immersive experience. As a well verse gamer in multiple genres and difficulties, I am yet to experience an issue with the build, the connectivity or usability. I have used this controller for around 10 months and has not disappointed. Very easy to clean if required.

This was well worth the purchase. We can now play two player games and i love the choice of colour. Sum say it’s too pink, or too red, but it’s the exact perfect colour I need.

This is a lovely colour my son chose it and is really happy with it does as it should .
Like most of these controllers expect drift after a awhile. Don’t seem to last more than a year before drift happens. These have completely gone.

Having wanted a second controller for my ps5 I wanted another official one as I have tried loads of different controllers over the years from pc to Xbox and other consoles
For me Sony ps5 controls are the best by far feel really comfortable in your hands the buttons are great and everything is located perfect.
I decided to get the cosmic red one as a second one and this really is a nice colour and when not in use sitting next to my white ps5 it looks good too.
Bought on the black Friday sale which made this an even better buy.

I’ve been using PlayStation controllers for years, even for PC gaming, and bit the bullet a few months ago because of the haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features. Ohhh it’s a whole new gaming experience! It’s a little hard to get these features working for PC games, but they’re definitely worth the price. Contemplated getting the new Xbox controller as well, but I’m happy to have chosen this. Everything about it feels great, modern and it’s more ergonomic to hold as well. If you’re wondering whether to get this or not for PC gaming, then I’d recommend it. Even without the adaptive triggers, it’s a great controller.

Two complaints, one major one is it doesn’t come with a charging lead and two it’s more a dark pink then red but no charging lead, come on Sony you charge enough already
Great for the hands
There weren’t any directions for where to place on the body, but finally, after using the hands, it works great! I don’t recommend the knee joints, elbows, neck, mouth, face, feet (was okay, but not great), or b-cheeks.
Solitaire plays very well with this….It’s all i play actually.
I went for this colour, as I was sure that my masculinity could handle buying the pink one that I really wanted.

Fixes the old issues
I bought a Ps5 on release day with an extra controller, both controllers ended up having issues within the first 6 months i.e stick drift and loose triggers. The newer colours that were released have an updated design which helps prevent any further issues.

It is original product. All functions are working fine, the battery life is also good. Nothing to complain about. It is a bit more massive than the previous version (PS4) but it feels very handy for me. It fits with my white controller.

I don’t know why all the reviews are complaining about the colour. The picture is accurate enough, it’s not bright red, they didn’t advertise it to be so. It is more wine red- burgundy with a pinky tint to it. I absolutely love it, of all the newer additional colours to the PS5 controller lineup, this one is the nicest in my opinion, doesn’t look as tacky as the bright pink.
It didn’t arrive damaged, it didn’t arrive in a box double it’s size, like Amazon seem to love doing, and it arrived promptly. I got this on sale so I’m not as critical on price as I’d usually be, full price seems steep regardless of console nowadays. Prefer the feel of the PS5 controller to the Dualshock 4, though. And the vibration functionality/haptic feedback is top notch with the PS5.

Best controller on the market, most comfortable, best features and best look. The red looks killer. Also the battery life is really damn good too. 100% would recommend for PC, it has great support on steam too which is surprising, even outside Steam just link your games with your steam account and play all day with tonnes of controller configurations from the community.

OK so for the sale price of around 45 during Summer Sale its a fantastic price for the dualsense controller RRP 70!!!
Thing is when it arrived I checked the serial number and it ends in CT1. So its using the older analogue sticks prone to drift and less durable adaptive trigger components.
Still keeping it as I got the collection of White, Black, Red, Blue, Pink , Purple set of controllers.
All others are CT1A stock so using the better more durable components just this damn red one is the black sheep of the family.
For those wondering all the newer cosmic colours Blue, Pink, Purple are all 100% CT1A.

Same function as any other PS5 controller but it’s nice to have a different colour other than the standard white. Stands out a lot!
First of all don’t listen to the reviews it doesn’t look pink. The cosmos Red PS5 controller does look lovely at a odd shade of red but I love it and I highly recommend it. Specially as the tweaked the design a little to bit to improve the controller and make it last longer. Part of the tweaking was they replaced the pins inside the controller to the adaptive triggers to make it more firm and stronger and less flimsy. I highly recommend this product to any true PS5 Gamer.
They have made some improvements to the design of the colour controllers so these are more better than the standard white PS5 controller. Just make sure when you receive it to update the controller software update it should prompt you to do it when the PS5 turns on.

Awesome controlle
What can you expect? This is your standard controller with all the same functions as the white one that comes with your Playstation, but the Cosmic Red colour is pretty awesome. If you want to standout and you like to be a bit different this is the one for you.

Colour is much nicer in hand than the photos.
This PS5 controller seems noticeably heavier and sturdier than the boxed white controller that came with the PS5 although no noticeable changes once used and same battery life. The colour is gorgeous, more of a deeper red than the photos make out but very nice and always get comments by friends.

Look at this picture, this is cosmic red pigment, next time look on Google and actually research colours because all I see are complaints that it isn’t red, no it isn’t DEEP red or bright red like the xbox controller because this is, COSMIC red!
Not a scam, not a colour problem, it is a shade of red that is a cross between a pinky colour and red which can look slightly purpleish under certain conditions as well.
You don’t go into B&Q and expect everything with red in the name to be one shade of red do you?

Nice remote, as cosmic Red colour, Im not to sure as in daylight it seems a bit more Dark Pink/purple and at night it looks Red making one feel colour blind (which I’m not).

Ho regalato questo pad ad un amico che lo voleva, vi lascio la sua recensione:
Cercavo da tempo un pad comodo che avesse le levette analogiche simmetriche, ma pi ergonomico del classico DS4 o similari. Questo obbiettivo l’ho decisamente centrato con questo dualsense.
Appena impugnato mi ha subito colpito la maneggevolezza, e anche in lunghe sessioni di gioco (>4h) non risulta troppo pesante da tenere in mano (281g).
Nonostante dopo svariate ore d’utilizzo non si sia rivelato scivoloso grazie alla texture presente sul retro, suggerisco comunque per maggior sicurezza di proteggerlo con una skin sia per scongiurare danni accidentali da cadute o sporco, sia se volete avere una sensazione di grip maggiore che dia pi sicurezza.
IMPORTANTE: L’ho preso con lo specifico intento di usarlo su pc in quei titoli o situazioni in cui la tastiera limitante per la tipologia del gioco o per la scelta degli sviluppatori.
Sotto questo aspetto sono veramente soddisfatto perch sia tramite BT che cavo Steam lo supporta nativamente e permette anche di gestire i colori della fascia led.
Per sopperire all’assenza dell’indicatore della batteria si pu sfruttare DS4windows (versione 3.0.9)
(lo avvio a fine partita giusto per controllarlo)
Ovviamente i feedback aptici mancano ma vedremo se in futuro non arriveranno pure quelli, per il resto il controller si comporta molto bene e non subisce nemmeno lag dalla connessione BT.
Un piccolo appunto che secondo me il diametro degli analogici un pelo troppo piccolo, ma una cosa risolvibile con le classiche grip, l’altra che i tasti azione risultano effettivamente un po’ troppo distanti fra loro se comparati con la versione xbox.
Inizialmente ero scettico, ma dal vivo ho apprezzato molto lo stile rimodernato senza i classici colori che secondo me contribuisce a dare un look pi maturo al dispositivo e meno “giocattoloso”; secondo me questo ulteriormente apprezzabile in questa colorazione rispetto a quella bianca.
Aggiungo che le finiture opache evitano la presenza di impronte anche dopo un utilizzo prolungato.
la confezione purtroppo tremendamente scarna, quando mi sono informato prima dell’acquisto ci sono rimasto male, non c’ nemmeno un cavo Type-C, che non detto tutti possiedano, anche il manuale fin troppo sintetico; in generale la confezione decisamente non si addice ad un prodotto di questo calibro.
nella scatola il pad semplicemente avvolto in un sacchettino protettivo di polistirene; sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa di pi.
Altri aspetti negativi emergono cercando di usarlo su android in quanto nonostante nel play store funzioni correttamente, nei titoli che sono riuscito a testare, i comandi sono completamente disallineati precludendo di fatto la possibilit di usarlo. Ho tolto una stella perch a maggior ragione da possessore di smartphone sony trovo veramente ridicola una mancanza del genere unita anche all’impossibilit di sfruttare app o software di sony per aggiornare il pad SENZA avere una ps5.
Spero vivamente che qualcosa cambi in futuro su questo fronte.
