Paired this with a DBPOWER projector for just over 100 so can’t complain. The screen itself has a black-only casing but I painted it with white spray paint before mounting it on the ceiling. Looks fairly well concealed and the missus hardly notices it now it’s camouflaged 🙂 Pull-down and re-home mechanism is firm and there’s no drift that I’d read about some manual screens whilst doing my research.

Don’t often give 5 stars because I don’t trust such reviews but will make an exception here.
Matched to an Optoma HD240wi at a distance of about 3.75 metres this Duronic screen is filled by the picture. I have a 4K 55in TV but not had a projector before but to my eyes the picture is quite astonishing. Ok it’s 1080p and not 4k but more than adequate. Streamed video from a Firestick also looks good; Bluray 3D such as Galapagos is stunning using the Optoma ZD302 3D glasses (which state for TV but work fine with the DLP projector). For the price I’m not sure whether this screen can be improved upon but I’m pleased I didn’t pay more. You will need help to put this up. Coach bolts and screws were provided. Mine went into a wooden wall so easy to do but it can also be ceiling mounted. I measured the fixing positions roughly to start with, put up one bolt, hung that side of the screen on the bolt, checked level and then put the other bolt in the final position on the other side. Added additional screws as necessary. Positioning the manual pull down screen to match the picture is easy to do but needs some care and patience to get it exactly right and the final adjustments can be made with the projector.
2 minor gripes:
1. the “teardrop” recess for the bolt on the side of the screen is too narrow for the bolts provided.It will only go though the larger hole but not “sit” in the narrower section above. Difficult to explain but you’ll see what I mean. Not a major problem because it can still be securely fasted with the nut, but the screen will be positioned about 1cm higher than would otherwise be the case.
2. Strong smell which will presumably diminish.
The only other irritant is that one or more flies tend to settle on the screen, which is in a summerhouse. Can you impregnate the fabric with an insect deterrent … 😉
The attached pictures don’t do it justice because my phone camera isn’t that good. It also appears much wider in real life at nearly 2.5 metres wide.

Delivery was very quick. I had a slight issue with the item, however, on contacting their amazing customer service, it was resolved very promptly. Product is fantastic, good quality, very heavy and sturdy and looks and works very well.
This is a great screen for the money. The pull down and return mechanism works well but as recommended make sure you keep a hold of the screen as it is recoiling as it can move at quite a pace.
It’s has brackets, at each end, to enable it to be fixed to the roof or the wall or with the addition of some S hooks and Eye Plates (as in the pictures) it can easily be hung from the ceiling.
It’s worth noting that the casing is wider than the size of the screen so make sure you look at the measurements on the product description.
I have enjoyed this screen in my home cinema now for many months so it is time to write a review. I LOVE this screen. It is high quality, enables a good picture and of course it is huge as the heart of my cinema. Fitting was easy, I fitted to my plasterboard ceiling, all it took was drilling 4 holes (I never found a joist) and using 4 plasterboard wall plugs form my local DIY centre, total cost 2.59 GBP and took 1 hour with my son – needs two people to hold this beast up.
It is easy to pull down and locks naturally into place and a quick pull and it rolls back up again when not in use. I highly recommend this screen. I feel it was very good value for money. It does not wobble when people open doors or windows as it is a fairly thick material and the chemical smell some people have mentioned disappears after a few weeks, so treat it as that wonderful new product smell. 🙂

The screen arrived quickly without any damage. This was the 100″ 16:9 widescreen projector screen.
I read some of the reviews that were stating the screen was not 16:9 and that 16:9 was not available.. It took me a while to work out that the reviews were for all the screen sizes and not for the individual screens that were listed.
I couldn’t find any other non electrical screen, as I was concerned about the weight of the electric ones.
The screen works well and was not too heavy and had plenty of mounting points for ceiling or wall.
The screen pulls down easily although it makes some strange noises..
The only one issue was that the edges do curl in a bit, luckily this screen was a little big for what I needed and didn’t affect the view of the picture.
Ottimo telo di proiezione
Telo di proiezione a scorrimento manuale (va tirato dall’alto verso il basso o viceversa per farlo risalire). il sistema a molla, per cui spero duri a sufficienza. L’impressione che i materiali siano buoni anche se in un paio di occasioni non mi funzionato il movimento di sblocco verso l’alto (ma credo sia solo per una questione di prenderci la mano).
dal punto di vista della proiezione nulla da dire, telo ottimo, per ora non vedo le classiche pieghe sui bordi, ma ce l’ho ancora da troppo poco tempo per un giudizio definitivo
Screen exceeds all expectations
We got this to use in the caravans awning the kids love to sit out and watch films on the big screen we had been using a piece of silk just hung up.
It’s light enough to carry in the caravan strong enough to last, colours are far better than before. if it works so well outside it must work even better inside.
For me the bottom rail could do with being a little heaver, if the wind gets up a bit the screen moves but again not a problem if used as it should be used inside the house

Delivery was super fast, arrived well before the estimated date given and was well protected to avoid any damage during delivery.When I opened the packaging I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product.
It was easy to mount, I chose to put mine on the ceiling but you can also mount on a wall. Once up the manual mechanism operated smoothly and the white screen again oozed quality and is backed in black thus ensuring no light leakage. When o fired up my LCD projector (GM 60 MODEL), I immediately noticed the improved picture quality, it was then I knew that this purchase was definitely worthwhile.
This item is a must buy if you want a cheap but quality Projector screen and it will enhance your home cinema experience as compared to using a standard home wall as a screen. I am very pleased with this purchase especially when combines with a cheap Chinese LCD projector, together you get a huge clear, screen in the comfort of your own home for approximately 90 in total…….now that is what I call good value for money.

It is 4:3 aspect ratio screen.
99″ (4:3) screen is ideal for 80″ wide screen (16:9 aspect ratio). The advantage of this screen is more drop when it is fitted on ceiling.
I used other brands of projector screens, but I prefer Duronic screen.

This is an excellent good quality 100inch screen.
We secured to the wall above the window using the screws provided but with stronger raw plugs.
The whole job from unpacking ( product very well packaged) took around 30 minutes.
When I read the reviews before buying there was a few reviews about an oddor from the screen, I noticed this too but it’s a fresh new product type of oddor and soon disappears.
I would highly recommend this product.
The only regret I have is not going for a larger screen, but that’s just being greedy

You get what you pay for.
I didn’t pay much for this, and it’s quite good for its price bracket. It has shown some moderate curling along the black border, but nothing to effectively impact the picture quality. The smell was a little bothersome for the first few days (think wet paint), but it went away soon enough. Really, my biggest complain about this is that, because I like to roll it back up every time I’m done with it, it’s a little hard to pull it out just the right amount every time and I always end up fumbling for a few seconds trying to find the sweet spot. I still recommend it and would buy it again.

was deciding between a manual screen and an automatic screen. chose the manual because of price… good choice. Sure its hardly used and pulling it down really is no effort!! (my 10eur saving justifies the cost of the extravagance of a projector and screen, surely!). Quality seems fine. There was an usual smell from it but that does seem to be dissipating as time goes on.

A friend of mine already had one of these screens set up in a community hall where he shows films to the residents. I do the same thing in a community hall near me so decided to follow his example. I ordered the screen through Amazon and as always it was delivered on time and is of superb quality.

Be sure to by the correct size, and thanks to their incredibly useful measurements and charts I was able to fit a bigger screen on my living room wall than I had expected.

I’m terrible at DIY. Some time on and it’s still up on ceiling:) product is very good and gives a real nice picture image. Excellent for our movie nights or racing on pc with steering wheel. I had to put this up on my own. Great fun but with online help I got it all square and central.

I have no experience with projector screens but this one seems to be very well made and of good quality. Does the job perfectly and a price that couldn’t be beaten. Would definitely recommend this. Fairly easy to wall or ceiling mount with drill, then it slides into place onto the screws, so it can be taken off the wall easily if required. Very sturdy on the wall and is also quite heavy. Manual open and close is very smooth as well.
I placed my screen in front of a window and it works well. Does not let any light through and is a good quality display.

I bought this screen to compliment an Epson EB-S03 projector we recently purchased. The main body is a sturdy metal and fitted easily to the wall in my attic conversion. There is a string to help pull the screen down, but I had to remove it as I have a toddler. There is an annoying squeak when raising or lowering the screen but other than that I can’t fault it. It gives a lovely surface to project on and nobody believes it cost less that 200 never mind less than 50.

Cheap and does a good job.
Its hard to find fault with this product for the money asked. Its cheap but is well made. I ve screwed mine into the celling which is fine once you find the joists. Its smooth in action on the pull down and up and works the same as a normal window blind. It is quite heavy so its a 2 man / women job to get it on the wall or celling.
The white matt screen is clear and I get a sharp image from my BenQ W750 which I bought at the same time.
Overall very pleased. Being picky there is a plastic smell which begins to fade after a few hours use and the mounting brackets stick out the sides and look a touch ugly but its not a big issue.

Arrived very very quickly and well packaged. Utterly blow away by the quality of the screen for the cost. Seriously, it’s very very top draw.
Unfortunately my mechanism locked in place after two days and would not release. Thought, “here we go.” Contacted duronic and they came back to me immediately, telling me to box it up and a courier would come and collect. That happened and a replacement was out to me within two days. No problems with this one and I’m convinced the first one I had was just a rarity.
Exemplary customer service, and a fantastic product for the price. Cannot rate highly enough.

Ordered this Monday and was here wens, very easy to install on the ceiling, it’s does smell at first of the chemicals they use but only if you stand right next to it but after a couple of days it has gone. I must say, for the price it is a nice bit of kit… Would defo recommend it to anyone who is on a budget and don’t have a spare white wall. Very happy with my Purchase!

I found this easy to mount on the wall (although it ought to tell you that you will need to do extra leg work to ceiling mount). The chemical smell mentioned by other reviewers fades and the screen so far has been great.

Everything about this screen is perfect for me. I’ve installed it above my bay window and when it’s pulled down to the floor it keeps almost 100% of the day light out, great!

Hd projector scree
The pull down screen very good and easy to put up. I got this screen at half price at first i thought at this price would it be load of rubbish. As i looked at much higher priced ones. But i am very pleased with material well worth buying. Ps if you use it on plasterboard wall them buy metal wall plugs for plasterboard and you dont need drill only screwdriver to put them in very sturdy took 15mins to put up.
Excellent value
This screen was excellent value for money. As noted elsewhere, mounting it can be a little problematic (I used 4 brackets from Wickes to hang the screen far enough from my wall that my telly can sit behind it) but with a little ingenuity it’s doable. to make sure it’s level I did the following:
Attach a spirit level to a stick that’s long enough to go from my floor, to the bracket. Use that stick to make sure 1 bracket is level. Attach the screen to that one bracket but let it swing freely. Use the screen itself to place the hole for the second bracket, then use the stick to level up the second bracket.
Bit fiddly, but I have a level screen that works perfectly.
Duronic scree
Excellent pull down screen. The size was exactly as described and, although other reviewers have commented on the smell which they say takes days to go, I have not noticed any smell at all.
Perfect for the purpose, projecting DVDs via a digital projector, and very good value for money.

This is a pretty decent screen. It seems to be durable and the image projected on it looks great. It does tend to curl very slightly at the sides but over all a great buy and for a fraction of the price of most other screens on here!

A good all round projector scree
After prompt delivery of a very well packed parcel I was delighted upon opening to find a excellent product. In some other reviews it was stated that the screen was rather heavy but in my view this was more of a benefit with the result being a strong and sturdy screen. As for fixing to the wall I guess it could be done alone but a spare pair of hands make it so much easier. The screen itself is of a good quality material and it is very smooth to drop down and raise .Plus the bright clean looking image I have no reservations and I would recommend this product to all.

This is a great product for the price. Robust and easy to use. We attached ours to the back of a big wooden beam on the ceiling, so it is mailnly hidden when rolled up. It is quite heavy so needed two people to install. It arrived promptly and well packaged.

I received the screen in good order it came perfectly packaged upon opening.It is fairly heavy.As i was fitting it to the ceiling i had to fit a piece of wood to make it safe.The screen worked fine it pulled down and went back with no trouble.It needs two people to fit it which i expected anyway.Shame about the instructions but it did make me laugh.It is self explanatory how to fit the screen so i didn`t take any notice of it.

I had a big paper that I put on the wall when I bought a video projector but since I got this product, I can see the difference with the fully white color 🙂 I can use this projector screen as a blind as well 😛
Very impressed with this screen and the prompt delivery, it actually arrived faster than a number of smaller items ordered at the same time. Fixing was easy as it has multiple fixing points, although I had to batten the wall to get a secure fixing due to plasterboard. The screen is very good quality and shows bright crisp projected images. I was also pleased to find that the screen can be locked at various points, as in my case, because of furniture, I wanted to only use the screen as a wide screen and not at full drop length, that is not a problem.
Very pleased with the purchase at such a keen price.

Excelent scree
Very happy with this item, and highly recommend it. I suspect those few reviewers that had a problem with resetting the mechanism due to unclear instructions may have only had to do so for lacking care when rolling it up.
FITTING HINT: I needed to keep it away from the wall due to pictures I’ve hung there, but did not trust my chances of finding joists in the ceiling to bolt it to. So, instead, I went to ‘Wickes’ and got 4 ‘Adjustable Angle Brackets’ (80x65x20mm Product Code: 152644) and some ‘Heavy Duty Wallbolts’ (M8x10mm PK4 Product Code: 510013), used them to fit two angle brackets to the wall (protruding arm upwards), then fitted the others on top with some ‘Mushroom Head Roofing Bolts’ (M6x20mm PK18 Product Code: 510825) to make a zig-zag that got two mount points up by the ceiling, then used the same bolt to fix the screen to.

I might've not got the precise products I used there, so do check it out for yourself. Anyway, it works very well. Strong, away from the pictures, and the brackets aren't even too obvious. Could always cover them with some adapted wooden fitting (maybe for a curtain rail) if you feel so inclined. I planned to, but didn't think it was worth the effort in the end - I just don't notice them.
Does what you'd expec
No surprises good or bad – quick delivery, smooth pull-down motion, well built. We stained it white using a hammerite smooth metal paint.

This screen was delivered more quickly than anticipated. The written guide that comes with it makes little sense but I found it very easy to put up, with fixings provided for virtually every wall/ceiling type. I am using it for office presentations and the picture quality is excellent. Superb value for money overall
Good quality screen that doesn't break the bank
Delivery was next day and arrived in a heavy and well packaged box. Due to the study metal construction it was heavy making it tricky to mount but with the help of a friend it took around 10 mins. 4 screws to the wall in the holes provided.
The screen comes down and retracts solidly with little warping. The all black finish looks really good too. Watching the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony on this screen was awesome.

Received the screen Quickly, wellpacked, put it up and tested it with projector, All Ok. But then it would not retract into its housing. Emailed suppliers who couriered a replacement and collected faulty screen in four days. New screen works OK and is a useful addition to our Village Hall facilities.
eally really pleased with this projector,didnt have any odour from it like some claim thankfully,just like being at the pictures,the price is brilliant,the projected image onto this screen is excellent to, compared to some other screens this is the best value for money,very easy to put up,just needs 2 people to lift as it is quite heavy.

Prompt delivery from Amazon and very well packaged. Was ceiling mounted easily using screws and was found secure.
Image excellent on screen with very little distortion although only used for presentations. All in all excellent value for money and cannot fault to date.
Great screen for the price
Really impressed with this screen. It arrived very quickly and was easy to install (needed two people though). There is an odd “new car” smell to the screen but that faded after afew days.
The screen works well and is just what we were looking for as we use it to watch videos/tv/movies. I don’t know how it compares to more expensive screens as have never had a more expensive one. But I’m over the moon with this one and can’t believe it’s so cheap!
Would definitely recommend. Only down point is the strange smell… But as I said this faded after afew days.

Great product – fantastic quality.Does exactly what I wanted it to do and it was great value for money. Top product – brilliant price.
Right just to confirm (and summarise) a little bit about this screen:
1) It comes well packaged. Delivery was next day which was just amazing.
2) It doesn’t weigh too much at all (whoever said 13Kg is wrong). The box weight states 6Kg and I’d say that is pretty accurate.
3) Instructions are garbled Chinese translations. Best to use common sense when hanging it.
4) The screw kit is nigh on useless – get some beefier screws and rawl plugs.
So far so good – images look great on the screen, it has a nice black border and black back to prevent bleeding etc. The pull down mechanism is very smooth and it comes with a nice cord to help. For 35 it is a bargain!!

I bought this for my 13 year old son for Christmas to use with his xbox and projector. He is thrilled with it. His dad is a carpenter so he put up special brackets to hang it from, I don’t know how easy it would be to mount to a ceiling otherwise. Very good value compared to other screens and good quality and strong. Very pleased with the service and delivery.
Great Produc
Bought this screen a couple of months ago and must say for the price it was a great buy. Using it in our club to display music videos and TV through a freeview box. Well worth the money as it is built very well and who needs a motorised screen as this is a doddle to pull down and goes back up easily.
Excellent Value and Great Build Quality
An excellent piece of kit and great quality. Bought this to use as a cinema screen linked to DVD and satellite system.
Works superbly well and there is no leakage from the projector. Easy to install and erect and although I managed on my own, its easier for 2 people due to the weight and length of the item.
Well worth the money and the quality and feel of the items is superb.

Pull down scree
This is a great product for the price, good quality and i installed it in about 15 minuites. I would definetly recommend it.
Delivered in perfect condition within two days of order. There’s no fixing bracket in the middle of the screen’s housing, only at each end, but it hasn’t fallen down so I’m guessing/hoping that the end brackets are strong enough. The matte white screen (considered by experts to be better than grey or glass-beads) seems to be durable enough and the sprung mechanism operates very smoothly. I’ve not bought a projector screen before, so I can’t make any direct comparison with simliar products, but I’m impressed with the quality of this screen and amazed at its low price compared to other screens of a similar size.
This came very quickly, which surprised me as I live in N. Ireland. It seems to be well made and the pull down mechanism works very smoothly so far. Pity that the instructions could be better translated but really the screen is easy to use. Give a nice bright picture.
The screen was delivered very quickly. Its a well built solid screen although quite heavy to put up.
The instructions are obviously translated from another language (very badly) as they make very little sense, and include some spare bits which I presume are for the ‘pull – mechanism’ if it goes wrong (so hopefully wont have to use them) – but other than that everything is self explanatory.
This is a very good value screen, works well and over all is a good buy.

Hanging from the ceiling was a problem – my fault. The screen is quite heavy but once up, it certainly does the job. One nice feature is that it pulls down and goes back up quite easily – many can be unpredictable especially getting them back up.
I’ve had no problems with this product at all. It was delivered quickly, good packaging and works as advertised. It’s a good thick screen with no bleeding of light through it. I have it against a set of glass doors and it blacks out perfectly.
