Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe solar panel kit came well packaged. Good instructions and easy to set up and get started. Tested during the recent heatwave and got very close to rated wattage – so happy with the performance. Had some questions for the seller who responded quickly and was very patient and knowledgeable.

Adding to my 15 year old panels already on van…nice too see things haven’t changed and quality is as good as or better of solar panels.. controller much the same does the job.

    Great quality

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this for my caravan to keep the battery topped up while off grid caravanning. It produces plenty of power to use during the day and keep the battery fully charged ready for night time usage. Easy to install if you have a bit of DIY experience. I would recommend purchasing feet to secure it to the caravan with sealant rather than drilling extra holes in your caravan to secure them with the brackets provided. I would highly recommend this product.

    Great produc

I now have two banks (four panels) of these panels on my shed roof powering a 4KW inverter via 8 x 75AH batteries.
For the money I cannot fault these panels at all and the fact that they come with absolutely everything you need and are virtually idiotproof to install makes them even better.
    Highly recommended.

We now have multiple of these 120W Eco-Worthy built together into an Array with 4 AGM-DeepCycle Gel Batteries. These panels are extremely easy to install and deliver exactly how described. I only now had to return 1 Set, because the controller didn’t work. Out of 6 units 1 defective is an excellent rate ( a pal of mine went with an other well known brand and he had every second panel somehow defective). I stuck to Eco-Worthy because I started a few years ago with a foldable, portable set for our RV and that works always, extremely robust. Since then I have bought Eco-Worthy, always the 120w model complete with a controller for every single panel. I know, you can save money by interconnecting multiple panels in one controller unit and save a little money. After discussing it with a friend who is an Electrical Engineer I decided to go for the “1 Panel = 1 Controller”. Is more reliable, if there is a defect you do not have your entire array down and, if you opt for multiple AGM Batteries, connected in parallel in a specific way, the batteries can be balanced much more precisely by the multiple controllers “talking” to each other. I just have ordered another 120w set as replacement for the other one and intend to add another 2 units in Autumn as soon as the finances allow for it. Then I should have enough Solar surface to even have enough power to keep it going right through winter. In winter the days are shorter, the sun lower, therefore less UV to be collected by panels. Solution: add more surface! Looking at everything I can absolutely recommend Eco-Worthy if you want to have no worries!

In the interest of honesty I left a review saying I was disappointed with this because of the low wattage output. Since then I have changed the setup and have seen 80-90 watts in ok (but not super bright) sun. I felt obligated to update my review to reflect the products performance, rather than my original poor setup. I’m a much happy customer.

For the money, if you are after something that can output around +100 watts in direct sun then this is a decent system.

We bought this as an experiment due to needing solar power for our campervan fridge on a trip. We weren’t too sure so bought this to try and then install on our summer house as wanted a better one for there.
Worked brilliantly over 4 days powering our fridge in variable light conditions from brilliant sunshine to cold and rain.
It has worked so well we have bought a folding one to keep in the camper. My partner has got everything working with powerpole connectors so make things easy to swap over. Our van does not have enough gaps on roof to make a mounted one appropriate.
The only slight things is when unconnecting at solar panel end is the connectors are very tight and takes a good bit of jiggling to get them free. But once it is on the summerhouse properly it won’t be a problem.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe solar panel arrived in 2 days with prime. Big box, around 8 kg. The kit is supplied with all you need to make it work. After I set it up on my shed roof, tested the amount of energy from both panels with my multimeter and 20v showing. It was a cloudy morning after rain (not sun at all!) 8am.
Easy to wire with the Y connectors, then inside the shed, plug first battery, second solar panel and last the load. In my case a small water pump.
The control unit is provided with 6 connectors and instructions. Not very clear how to navigate through the menu, but basically showing the amount of power from the solar panel to the battery and from the battery to the pump. Also you can check the temperature (room temperature?) , type of battery used and timer.
Very simple to install, clean and Undamaged package, testing now.

    Easy DIY

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI don’t usually leave reviews but I was so impressed by this. I’m a mobile mechanic in a low loader Renault master which has an ecu controlled alternator. I have a split charge, massive 225ah leisure battery and 2Kw power inverter which is constantly on. Since fitting this kit my leisure battery is kept charged and in good health with the controller not allowing it to over charge. Also my alternator doesn’t have to work as hard so that’s great. It’s extremely easy to set up and well made. Definitely got the solar bug now, will definitely be buying more when I build a camper soon.

    Brilliant piece of ki

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersso after years of trying to convince a relative that solar was the way forward for him, rather than fetching battery’s home to charge every other day i figured in for a penny in for a pound, and bought 2 sets of these 1 for a touring caravan with 2 leisure battery’s (i think they’re 115ah) in parallel and the other to power his out building which just gets any old battery thrown on it.

Since installing these he has not run out of power for lighting 12v tv or water system and the has always had power.

So glad he finally listened and is not having to haul batteries around or replace them yearly anymore.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersWhile being quarantined due to covid I decided i needed something to do in the garden, so I’ve fitted a little solar panel to my shed, attached it to an old car battery.

The quality of the kit is great and actually much better than I was expecting for the price. Paired with a remote controlled 12v switch and some 12v garden lights. I have the start of a fully solar powered garden.

I can now have the garden lights, pond pumps & fountains all powered by the sun and not have to worry about the electric bill.

I got this 120W panel set because it was only a fiver more than the 100W. I have hooked it up to a 100Ah leisure battery and then some LED lighting for my garage. I haven’t used a lot of power yet but it’s definitely maintaining the battery charge. I would have liked the controller to give me a reading for how much power the panel was generating in real time (and over the last 7 days or month), that’s the one feature I really think it’s missing.

The panel was very easy to install and came with plenty of cable to connect the controller and the battery, it doesn’t come with battery connectors but I bought them separately very cheaply. I will need to add some grommets or sealant to ensure I don’t get any rainwater through the holes in my garage roof but otherwise it’s perfect.

I intend to connect it to a smart relay with three outputs so I can add in some outdoor lights and an irrigation system.

I have wanted to dip my toe in the water as far as solar panels go for a long time now and finally bit the bullet with this Eco Worth 200W kit.

I have installed them on my shed roof, connected to the charge controller and a Marine battery in the garage.
Everything about the kit seems okay. the build quality of the panels themselves seems robust enough, the charge controller does seem quite cheap and plasticky.

The quality of the supplied instructions is not great, especially as making an error when installing could prove expensive.

I did however managed to get everything in and working without a hitch. The supplied brackets will do for most situations I guess. I had to modify them but it was not an issue.

The setup appears to be working well and is keeping the battery topped up.
Currently I am only running a radio and and Echo dot from the system, but expect to add more as time goes by.

    Good kit. Poor instructions.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersHaving read many a review and having done some research I decided to purchase this ECO-Worthy 120W 12v solar system to add some extra off grid power to my VW Camper. The kit arrived promptly, was of good quality and had everything I needed to get connected. This kit keeps my leisure battery topped up and provides additional power via the charge controller for 12v accessories. Set up was made easy by the clear instructions provided. (Extra info regarding fitting to roof etc found via internet) very pleased with this product so far.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersInstalled Friday, not had much sun due to bad weather but it’s already impressing me with how well they are doing! Really easy install, I made an extra frame to protect them due to having a kid running around my boat!

Only thing I’d buy extra was cable which they can supply 10/10

Customer service was decent too after Royal Mail lost an item

Product works as advertised. Happy with it.

Bit disappointed they didn’t supply crimps for the 4mm cable as any armature (I’m an electrician) would struggle to connect wires to the small terminals on controller, possibly could have wire strands short circuiting.
    *also no washers for brackets.

All the same, works as advertised

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersI’ve been using this on my garden shed for around 1 month with the 100W panel and a separately purchased 12V 50AH battery. I have a bestek inverter connected to the battery for led lights and charging my electric bicycle battery. You could run 12v lights direct but i couldn’t find a suitable festoon, perhaps due to the higher current at 12V. It works well and i’m quite impressed with the little charge controller that also has two usbs meaning you don’t need to run the inverter to charge usb devices.
There are more powerful solar panels available for not much more money if you have a bigger project. But for a small off grid shed or garage it works well. Always put an inline fuse or breaker for items post battery and have a form of quick disconnect in case of a fault. Simple to use. Comes with solar panel cables but you’ll need to buy battery cables or do as i did and cut off tails of the solar panel cables if you have spare length.

Good little off grid unit for shed
