The metal gearing is designed to last, and the blade made of laser-cut, diamond ground steel always delivers clean cuts. You can adjust the sturdy extendable aluminium telescopic handle to the length you need.
The continuously adjustable additional handle can easily be positioned to suit any user. To make clean, precision vertical and horizontal cuts which can be difficult when you are working high up on the hedge or shrubs, the rear handle can be rotated to make the work easier.

It is relatively easy to assemble with good instructions. Comes with 10m power lead but you are likely to need an extension cable protected by a r. c. d trip suitable for external use.
The motor is near the user end not the cutter end. Therefore the weight of the unit is better distributed. Having said that the unit is heavy and you need to be reasonably fit and strong to be able to support and balance this assembly.

Also with a small adjustment the Hilti attachments also fit so I could reuse the attachments I had. It is power full, the motor sounds and feels powerful. Impressed. Great value for money.

Si è rotto durante l'uso ma nel complesso buono
Ho utilizzato il tagliasiepi per diverse ore e ha tagliato bene, anche rami abbastanza grossi – bisogna avere occhio ed “entrare” nella direzione giusta, ma un paio di centimetri di diametro li taglia. Verso la fine si rotto il meccanismo vicino al motore che fa ruotare di 90 la maniglia per tagliare angolato. L’ho reso ed arrivato quello nuovo dopo qualche giorno. Consigliato.

Adatto per siepi con piccoli arbusti.leggero ma la posizione dell’anello dove si fissa la tracolla non ottimale risulta squilibrato e quindi faticoso.sarebbe da riposizionare l’anello.un consiglio controllare tutti i dadi autobloccanti sulla lama.dopo un’ora di utilizzo ne ho perso uno con tanto di rondelle e boccola che tra l’altro introvabile ho dovuto adattare un dado asportando la filettatura interna.consiglio di mettere liquido frenafiletti per essere pi sicuri.
Il tagliasiepi funziona benissimo, ma non bisogna chiedergli pi di quanto possa dare. Se si tagliano degli arbusti con rami della dimensione di un dito bisogna andarci con cautela se bloccano la lama si pu rompere il meccanismo alla base dei taglienti e la scocca che lo contiene (a ma e ad altri vedo che capitato).
Probabilmente bastava che ci fosse una specie di “frizione” tra motore e trasmissione, ma non si pu avere tutto..
Se notate dei rami grossi per quelli meglio segare o andare di cesoia.. o al limite accostarsi al taglio gradualmente e con cautela.

Very quick delivery over Easter weekend during lockdown! This is a great piece of kit which today saved me many hours of manual bush trimming. It’s easy to put together and very easy to use. The head adjusts angle and the pole has two lengths. It’s very powerful and cuts really easily. Great value for money.
Well engineered
Well made and sturdy feeling product. I am a relatedly fit 72 year old and can use it in the confined space of my garden but its weight does make it awkward had to do it a bit at a time. Younger fitter people would have no problem. Would recommend.

Great value for money, great cutting and reach. Only drawback is it’s heavy, so your arms get tired pretty quickly. Also the instructions for assembly are minimal so there’s a bit of figuring it out, but there are only 4/5 parts so it’s easy enough. Would definitely recommend for the price.

I think this is a big girl’s toy. I found it difficult to maneuver but I will persevere as I have many tall shrubs. A taller person shouldn’t have any problems with it. The angled head is easy to adjust and it cuts well.

Like the balance of this pole trimmer, motor at base of pole. Goes together easily. Cuts my tall leylandi hedge, use it from step ladder to get at back of hedge with relative ease, compared to my previous pole trimmer. Also handles my other random assortment of bushes ‘hedge’ which the other trimmer realy struggled with. Not keen on quick release kneck suports belt, the quick release is unreliable, coming free without warning if touched by hedge or anything else. All in all having used it three times this Autumn I am very happy with it.

Works well, power is adequate and not too top heavy when at full horizontal stretch.
Nachdem ich diese Heckenschere nun ber eine komplette Saison benutzt habe, mchte ich meine Eindrcke wiedergeben.
Sowohl der Schnitt knapp ber dem Boden als auch auf der Hecke klappt super. Die Schnittleistung ist schon herausragend! Selbst wenn das Gehlz fingerdick ist, qult sich das Gert nicht. Wenn man fr diese Schneidleistung mit so einem Arbeitsradius in diesem Preis ein federleichtes Gert mit 1000 PS erwartet, sollte man zurck ins Reich der Fe’en und Elfen gehen.
Very mysterious shoulder strap
Help! I can usually figure things out but have no clue how to attach the shoulder strap. Otherwise seems to be doing ok first time using. Need to get used to the tilts and weights. Can smell a bit of over heating, hoping that’s just its first use!!

The hedge trimmer was well balanced when in use and performed very well even on thicker dense growth.
It is also easily adjustable for direction of cut and which side of a hedge you wish to cut if getting to either side of the hedge is difficult.

Used for 30 mins earlier on an old laurel and bramble hedge to test – pretty impressed. Made light work of thicker stems, and mains power meant no drop in cutting effectiveness – a real plus versus our battery trimmers.
Small gripe – it is quite heavy, but then it seems solidly made (pleasant surprise at the price), so I guess this is the compromise. But the weight won’t suit my 70something mother (whose hedge it is), so it’ll be my job when I visit. Much, much cheaper than paying for an annual cut, and seems like a good piece of kit so far.

The hedge trimmer arrived a day late via Hermes. Not sure who was responsible for the late delivery.
When delivered, the box was broken in half but had been tapped together. For delivery by courier, the packaging is obviously inadequate! See photo
Also, unlike the instruction book, there is NO point in using the stress relief clip (Fig 7) as there is no means of seperating the supplied cable from the trimmer (Fig 7 shows a plug/socket for sperating cable from trimmer)

effettivamente risulta un p pesante e ci fa s che sia difficile essere precisi…di sicuro non adatto come unico attrezzo x la siepe ma permette di raggiungere i pezzi altrimenti inaccessibili, sicuramente meglio di quelli che montano il motore in testa che saranno molto sbilanciati, la Potenza pi che sufficiente e l’impugnatura molto buona , spero che duri nel tempo…

Makes easy work of high hedges
Only used once so far but seems fine for my long,7ft high privet hedge. Better balance than my previous long hedge trimmer which had the motor at the far end of the pole.

It had drastically cut down the time to cut the top of our back hedge compared to a standard electric clippers and a ladder from both sides doing the top. I found the conventional electric clippers better to do the sides as the weight becomes an issue with this pole cutter.

Housing on the trimmer head blew out - replaced
A quick update on the case. After we posted here, Einhell contacted us and we have been sent a replacement trimmer. Great service from Einhell in Denmark and Amazon.
I bought this to trim a high hedge, and it worked well for a while. However, like others have written, the housing on the trimmer head blew out, despite only having been used four times.
Contrairement ce que j’ai pu lire, la sangle est trop longue et pourtant je mesure 1,90 m, par contre il ne faut pas oublier de la drouler pour la rgler. L’idal est de vous en servir comme d’un balancier, le moteur devant faire faire contre poids, cette position permet de ne pas se fatiguer trop rapidement.
A noter que je trouve l’appareil beaucoup plus lger que mon prcdent (un Florabest). Nanmoins, la puissance indique est une puissance absorbe et non pas la puissance utile (celle que l’on retrouve au niveau de la coupe). Ainsi, n’esprer pas couper des branches de grosses sections. J’ai quand mme pu couper quelques branches de 1 cm de diamtre, je l’ai utilis pour des haies de sapin qui mesurent une hauteur de 4 m et une largeur de 1,5 m avec en majorit des branches de 5 mm de diamtre.
Au passage, n’oublier pas de pulvriser du spray anti rsine sur la lame avant vos travaux.
Effectivement le moteur fait des tincelles (contenues dans le carter de protection) et une odeur de chaud se dgage. Mais ce phnomne est provoqu l’arrt du moteur, cause du frein de lame et c’est d’ailleurs crit dans le mode d’emploi. Pour cette raison, il est dconseill d’utiliser l’appareil par coups trop frquents.
Pour finir, il y a bien deux gchettes enclencher pour la mise en route, mais une fois dmarr, on peut rester appuy uniquement sur la gchette du dessous.
En conclusion, je suis assez satisfait de mon achat au niveau qualit prix. Pour info, j’ai dans mon entourage quelqu’un qui avait achet une clbre marque sudoise 5 fois plus chre et son taille haies n’a pas dur plus de 3 ans…

I like the machine but I must have been supplied with a second hand item. The box had been opened and sealed again with sellotape and the two caps that protect the center section were loose in the box and are of the wrong size to fit the ends. I would like your comments.

This brilliant, good quality, well balanced & cuts through decent thicknesses. Have got a petrol riobi & its very back heavy, so when I am cutting the tall hedge in back garden that is also about 5ft deep it was killing my arms & back. This is great & gets job done a lot quicker. wood defo recommend it.

Livr en 24 H. C’est gnial. Appareil trs maniable. Trs satisfait car le manche tlescopique vite de monter sur un escabeau, voire un chafaudage. La possibilit d’orienter la lame est aussi un atout.
Da der Motor nicht “am langen Ende” sitzt, ist das Gert gut handhabbar. Vielseitige Verstellmglichkeiten, krftiger Motor. Habe aus Versehen mit einem Eisenstab das Schneidwerk blockiert. wobei sich der Schneidkamm verbog. Ich habe daraufhin mein Malheur geschildert, den Schneidkopf eingeschickt (als Muster) und um Reparatur oder einen neuen Schneidkopf gebeten. Anstandsloser kostenfreier Umtausch trotz meines Verschuldens! Hab ich noch nie erlebt!! – Haltbarkeit ansonsten noch nicht beurteilbar, da ich das Gert erst kurze Zeit besitze. Arbeitet bisher anstandslos.

Easy to use and well balanced, making the hedge cutting much less of a strain. Very pleased with it compared to the previous long handled hedge trimmer that was top heavy.
Le taille haie est arriv trs rapidement, dans un colis bien emball. Le montage des trois parties de l’appareil se fait trs bien et la qualit semble tre au rendez vous.
Concernant l’utilisation, l’appareil est un peu lourd mais la sangle aide bien supporter l’ensemble quand on travaille avec.
Mon valuation est de 4 toiles/ 5 pour deux points ngatifs qui me paraissent importants:
1- La taille de branchages de plus de 1,5cm n’est pas possible, et s’adresse donc des tailles de haies en entretiens frquents.
2- Le systme de ressort de mollette de rglage de l’inclinaison de la tte est un peu lger. Il s’est dtendu trs rapidement lors de la taille de ma haie. J’ai du donc le dmonter et le retendre comme j’ai pu.
Je suis globalement satisfait de mon achat et de son prix trs correct.

Di costruzione robusta il motore ha 900 watt e quindi piuttosto potente. nel complesso L’unico difetto che ho riscontrato che la parte anteriore quella delle Lame un po’ troppo pesante da utilizzare con la massima estensione, per il resto assolutamente consigliato

I have an normal size hedge trimmer (Bosch) but this Einhell trimmer, although a little heavy, gives extra reach and means that I can now access the tops and sides of the taller trees. This means that I do not have to pay a gardener to come and do the work so the trimmer has paid for itself in a short while. Excellent product, easy to use.

Its still a bit heavy / unbalanced, but if you are big and strong, you manage it.

Easy to assemble and very powerful, much better for cutting my very extensive hedge than a battery model.

Cercavo un buon tagliasiepe senza dover spendere eccessivamente, soprattutto per l’uso sporadico che faccio.
Appena lo prendi in mano ti accorgi della solidit che, vero, magari pu andare a scapito del peso come qualcuno giustamente fa osservare con qualche recensione. Ma altrettanto vero che la leggerezza di questo tipo di tool potrebbe lasciar pensare sul materiale utilizzato. Al momento nulla da eccepire, a mio modo di vedere: taglio preciso, buona funzionalit, pratico e abbastanza maneggevole. Io taglio una siepe di cipressini di quasi 3 metri di altezza, lunga una 30 di mt, ovvio, con qualche giorno di pausa da un taglio all’altro. Non sono avvezzo a questi lavori ma…ce la faccio bene.
Lo consiglio.

Resistente e facile da usare
Secondo me fatto veramente bene con buoni materiali, e il suo lavoro lo fa egregiamente.
Avendo una siepe alta l’ho usato in entrambe le due lunghezze, utilizzando anche le varie inclinazioni della sega.
Molto bello che l’impugnatura abbia una rotazione di 180 gradi, in questa maniera pi facile tenere il tagliasiepi anche quando lo si deve inclinare di lato.
L’unica nota dolente (nel vero senso della parola) che specialmente usando la prolunga, il peso dopo un po’ di utilizzo si fa sentire, ma immagino non possa essere altrimenti se si vuole qualcosa di resistente.
Good reach and effective cutters.
Though the motor being at the handle end reduces the head weight, the heavy duty quality of the cutting gear does make this still top heavy when reaching out to get into the middle of a large bush That aside, for cutting high hedge tops this is a dream.
Efficiente
Ho sentito un po’ il peso in testa dopo averlo usato per circa 15 minuti. Comoda l’impugnatura e la prolunga per raggiungere i rami pi alti con la possibilit di piegare la lama di taglio. L’ho anche usato come decespugliatore, in attesa che mi arrivi quello specifico con filo che ho ritirato, e devo dire che ha lavorato bene.
La marca gi la conoscevo e devo confermare che questo prodotto non niente male.
Piccolo consiglio ai neofiti: per prolungare la vita di questo potasiepi (lama e motore), prima di effettuare un qualsiasi taglio, ricordatevi di lubrificare per bene la lama (in caso di arbusti particolarmente resinosi tipo le tuglie, anche durante il taglio) con del buon olio (io utilizzo il Motul per 4 tempi… praticamente quello rosso).
Poi non fate come fanno certi: questo un potasiepi e non un decespugliatore o una falciatrice… NON fatto per tagliare l’erba, quindi non stupitevi se… non la taglia ma la sfibra . . .
Pratique mais fragile
Pratique mais un peu lourd a trimbaler.
Reste trs fragile, ne coupe bien que les petites haies et les feuilles, si par malheur vous rencontrez une grosse branche , le moteur lache en forant.

Tagliasiepi costruito con buoni materiali, pratico, funzionale preciso come taglio . Si pu regolare a piacimento sia in altezza che in inclinazione. Non ho dato 5 stelle perch il primo che ho ricevuto aveva il motore che sfiammava, sostituito ho dovuto pagare 7 di tasca mia per la spedizione.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband as he got over exuberant playing with his new toy, got writing cramp – so to speak!! He is 74 years of age and our hedge is ten feet high and about 40 feet long, but it did the job admirably, or was it the one with the sore arms!

Arrived in good condition and the assembly of the unit was easy. The blade guard was well stuck on the blade and over the fatter section below the blade so it needed a hammer to drift it off the blade. Slides on easily now. Recommend using the harness which has a cunningly easy quick release. Ideal for keeping my thorny pyracanthus looking neat and makes the job much easier than balancing on a ladder with a small hedge trimmer. The hedge is much taller than and is behind a brick wall. The pavement slopes fairly steeply along the length of the hedge so standing on the pavement with this pole cutter is ideal. Appears well made and is at a really competitive price.

Good workhorse
I made the mistake of buying a GTECH hedge trimmer to trim privet and black thorn hedges. It just wasn’t up to the job but the Einhell GC-HH 9048 Electric Pole Hedge Trimmer breezed through the seasons work with no problem. It’s quite heavy but well build and strong.

Guter Artikel
Die Heckenschere hat eine gute Schnittleistung. Durch die unterschiedlichen Einstellwinkel hat man viele Mglichkeiten.
Allerdings ist das Gert recht schwer, daher auch einen Stern Abzug. Wenn man allerdings keine 100e von Metern an Hecke zu schneiden hat, sollte ein normal gewachsener Mann damit gut zurecht kommen.

Ben bilanciato
Tagliasiepi potente e robusto, ha un buon bilanciamento quindi si opera senza eccessiva fatica essendo il motore posto nella parte inferiore dell’impugnatura, taglia con facilit rami da 1 – 1,5 cm logicamente lavorando senza fretta, una volta tagliata la siepe
ripasso con la scaletta e trancio di netto con la cesoia quei pochi rami sfilacciati, il rumore sopportabilissimo, qualit prezzo ottima, servizio Amazon impeccabile, lo consiglio certo di fare bella figura. Una cosina suggerisco, stendete a terra sotto la siepe un lenzuolo o telo, durante il taglio lo scarto si adagia sopra e sar semplice e veloce raccoglierlo per metterlo nel sacco del verde. Altro consiglio di pulire bene le lame alla fine del lavoro usando alcol bianco (ottimo detergente oltre che disinfettante) e lubrificare con una spruzzatina di WD40….

I already have one that is telescopic, with the motor at the cutter end, and although it does the job very well, it is undoubtedly a struggle on a long day with the additional weight at the far end. I have found that this Einhell cutter is powerful and easy to use, and better balanced too, with the motor/handle helping to balance the extended cutting end on the top of the hedge. Doing the side of the hedge one still has to bear the weight of the cutter, but there is a harness provided and it is still easier than having the motor at the top. Over all it has certainly paid for itself within the first few days of use on my huge conifer hedge, and has definitely come “to the rescue” in enabling me to conquer it!

Nachdem ich die erste Lieferung zurckschickte weil sie eindeutig ein Rcklufer war und ich nicht wusste, ob die Packung vollstndig ist
(hierbei Amazon sehr kooperativ, es ging reibunglos), habe ich eine ziemlich dichte und breite 10 Jahre alte Kirschlorbeer-Hecke (2 m hoch) mit der (zweiten) Schere geschnitten. Es funktionierte auf Anhieb hervorragend, fand das Gewicht des Gertes auch ertrglich (bin keine besonders krftige Person), wohl habe ich wiederholt Pausen eingelegt. Leichte Handhabe, guter Schnitt, bin sehr zufrieden! An wenigen Stellen musste ich mit der Hand nachschneiden, da sehr dnne weiche Zweige nicht unbedingt erfasst werden. Das ist aber kein Problem, dafr werden die dickeren festeren ste gut geschnitten. Klare Empfehlung.

When I tried to visit the site to register the guarantee it was in a not in English and I gave up. My husband is going to have a good look and see if the spring has just slipped out of place. It is a heavy machine and my husband struggled to use it for long periods and he does not usually have those sort of issues.

Only used this once so far ….it seems to be easier to use with the motor sited at the back of the machine rather than at the cutter end …..it makes it feel counter balanced so easier to hold ….it made a good job of the shrubbery that I trimmed…..hopefully it will continue to do so for many years …
