STORY OUTLINE
In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered.
Marika’s offspring, demigods all, claimed the shards of the Elden Ring known as the Great Runes, and the mad taint of their newfound strength triggered a war: The Shattering. A war that meant abandonment by the Greater Will.
And now the guidance of grace will be brought to the Tarnished who were spurned by the grace of gold and exiled from the Lands Between.

This game is tough but do able just have to be persistent and be ready to die over and over again – just grind and keep going lol
Usually I don’t like these games, however the controls work pretty good, and it’s pretty responsive when played. Mind you, my last experience was with DS2, so this is a vast improvement over that game. This game is also paced pretty well so if you choose to grind, you can grind.
This game gets your money worth. You will spend hours and hours and still have so much depth left to cover. I don’t know how people solve the game without a network of people sharing ideas- I would totally be lost without the reddit/ community forums on some things!
I don’t like paying large amounts of money for Xbox games and you don’t get your money’s worth. Elden Ring is so worth the money the time and challenges. Excellent game.

If you stick through with the difficulty you have a real special game waiting for you.
It is also incredible satisfying when you finally take out a boss that has been taking your lunch money!
If you’re struggling with the game, go explore and do some smaller side dungeons and level up a bit :)!
If you can get used to the combat and timing everything perfectly then you can have a lot of fun. Just be prepared to die A LOT, and be punished for doing so.
It’s not a game for casual gamers, it takes time and dedication to be able to enjoy it and feel the satisfaction for defeating an enemy, especially a boss.
I’d definitely recommend watching someone stream it for a few hours before taking the plunge as it’s a lot of money to gamble with.
Yes you’ll die a lot but then that’s what Dark souls games are about, but this also just makes you more determined and teaches you to be a better player, skill up and look for better weapons or armour.
