    Favourite keyboard so fa
I have purchased many keyboards in the past and none have been as good as this. The build quality is great and the keyboard sounds very nice. This is a perfect keyboard for people that want to start on custom keyboards as it’s very easy to mod!

I tape modded and added pe foam to the case. I plan on lubing and filming the switches to see the full potential of this board. Already, the rgb is strong and the patterns available are a decent variety. I just got it today so I haven’t gotten the chance to download the software. The caps are pretty good too, I will be keeping them while I wait for an sound restock. Overall, for less than $100 this keeb is a great deal, especially for those who are entering the hobby and look to modding over time. This will probably be even better for people who just want to buy a keyboard and use it.

Very good base for a budget 75% build
First off, it’s affordable. I am looking for a 75% for work and I don’t want something too flashy or expensive. This EP84 fits the bill.

For mod, I add 3 layers of tape (tape mod), the case already has foam so I leave it be. Then I swap the switch for Gateron G Pro 2.0 Black, and PBT XDA keycaps. Now it’s a very thocky but silent keyboard, great for work environment.

The worst thing about this keyboard is the cable socket, it’s so deep inside the case so you HAVE to use the stock cable, most other cables will not fit into the tight space around the USB-C port

Overall I still highly recommend this keyboard, especially when you’re looking for something to not too complicated and flashy for work

    Just perfect for this price
Great for the price, perfect for a starter keyboard, comes with a set of key cap pullers and key switch pullers and overall sounds great. You can also mod it to make it sound even better.

Bon rapport qualité-prix. Très beau. Finitions OK.

Its amazing the quality of this keyboard
In 2021 I bought this same but the white/grey version, the quality as expected, good RGB and backlight on the keycaps (fully opaque)

In difference from this new are some changes, some good, other… not so much

    – Style keycaps is very good, but I thought it would have a partial transparence to see the keys in low light but this is not the case, but very nice looking keycaps anyway
    – The RGB lights are powerfull and very colourful too
    – The presets to change the colors, intensity and velocity need like a restart of the keyboard, dont know if its normal, like 1 second all RGB off while changing, my previous keyboard was instantly chaging with this actions
    – More vivid colors (specially the yellow/orange looks nice with the color of the keycaps too)
    – Prefer the old movement patterns
    – Can toggle the Win and Alt keys depending on the OS (nice feature)
    – Very soft gatheron brown switches and keycaps to the touch

As I said, I bought this expecting the same, differing only the keycaps and nothing else, but noticed the new features, some good, some other not so much, but in general, its all good.

    I recommend this produc

I got the gateron browns. And to be honest they sounded amazing right out of the box. Admitantly there are sort of clacky but much better than most stock keyboards. Now I did mod mine with thicker foam, linear switches, lube, and pcb key foam or whatever it's called. It sounds amazing but that's almost a given with the amount of mods I did. Definitely worth the money

Premium quality on a low budget (office, gaming alike)
I was looking for a mechanical keyboard for the office and needed a small one with ergonomic keys. It had to be as silent as possible before any mods. I have to admit that the Epomaker EP84 is a great choice. Typing feels amazing and the gateron yellows are quiet enough to keep in the office. I had no complaints from colleagues who didn’t even notice it, which was a win!

The keyboard is responsive and pairs okay with my MacBook Pro M1. The existing Mac functionality is really good and provides most options that can be found on the macbook keyboard. I haven’t found out how to incorporate the fn mac key yet as I need it for switching from typing languages. Also, an issue with M1 macs that probably has nothing to do with the keyboard is that after setting the laptop to sleeping mode I need to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard for the laptop to recognize it.

The 84 keys that include del, home etc and the f keys make it fully functional for gaming and working alike while also providing a compact size that could fit most desks. Another concern I had was switching to a usb-c to usb-c cable to switch from the one provided in the package. That worked fine and now I use a more premium usb-c to c cable. For people who want to use a different cable than the one provided please be wary of the connector size as the keyboard port might not fit all usb-c connectors. I have provided a ruler where you can see the margins that would fit fine.

All in all a great purchase. I even got a second for my home desk. At 55 pounds it was a steal. Can’t recommend it enough!

    Great budget keyboard
his is a solid choice if you need a budget keyboard, i bought this for typing instead of gaming and with the gateron black switches they sound very smooth. It is a solid build however does sound a bit hollow due to the plastic build which is what you expect from a budget keyboard. Nonetheless i would reccomend this keyboard. (the vintage grey is a beautiful colour if your into the old era of keyboards it looks alike!)

This is the first mechanical keyboard I've purchased so I did a fair amount of research before deciding to buy this keyboard. I'm glad I went with this one! I mainly use this for work and school, but will eventually try it out for gaming as well. I went with the yellow switches and I love the sound of them and the feedback they give. The retro design is exactly what I was looking for and there are tons of other keycap sets for this keyboard if I ever want to change them. The keycaps are very easy to remove but I haven't tried removing the switches. There are different RGB modes too and you can change the colour of some of the modes, increase/decrease the speed of some of the modes, and increase/decrease the brightness of some of the modes. This is all shown in the instruction manual. Overall I'm very satisfied and I would recommend this keyboard to my friends.

Gaming keyboard that caught my attention out of nowhere
his keyboard is the right size for me to do either gaming or do other typing activities, I have always been looking at keyboards with this sizes and finally I found one for myself.

It help improves my performance during gaming as it gave me the really good typing experience and it is quite silent compared to other gaming keyboard.

however, the bad side of it is that it does not really have a proper software to control every single modifications.

Overall it is a decent to high quality keyboard and I recommend everyone to get one for themselves.

I'm quite new to the keyboard hobby, and I had been thinking of dipping my toes in to it for a while. this was a great purchase because I did not want to buy a 60%, the only mods I did to it was lube the stabilizers and put more foam in it as it only comes with a thin piece of foam dampening when purchasing. It sound great without the mods if you are not comfortable with opening up the case. Only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star is north facing leds as they interfere with cherry profile keycaps if you don't put a spacer in the stem hole/around (piece of folded paper in the steam hole to give it a few more milometers or some really small O-rings a round the base of the stem)

My Review: As someone who doesn't spend much money
Initially buying a keyboard and especially at this price for someone who doesn’t spend money often is scary. When I first got my hand of the keyboard though the feeling was great. The key presses felt great, the sound is crisp. Getting used to a keyboard after using my laptop keyboard for so long was difficult but worth it because the feeling of typing on it is refreshing and I like it a lot. I’m not sure if I miss the missing keys that are on a full keyboard and some of the buttons display the wrong sign and I cannot for the life of me get the program to customise the keyboard colours and key binds to work but that is more the fault of epomaker than amazon. The frame was ever so slightly warped but a thin piece of card in the right spot stops the wobble and overall it is a nice keyboard for it’s price point. Knowing that it’s hot-swappable means the keyboard can last me years and years to come with contributing lots to waste. Overall happy with it and I hope it can keep going for years to come. – One of Many Internet Users

Pleasantly surprised. Incredible as a work keyboard
I am extremely happy with this keyboard. The switches feel amazing. The build quality is mostly plastic, but it still feels really solid. I lubed the switches and stabilizers for some extra smoothness and more quiet, but it definitely doesn’t require it. The keycaps are pretty decent as well, I may swap them later for a different color but for now they are great. The lighting is bright and has plenty of modes to choose from – I have not tried out the software for it because I haven’t really needed to.
I bring this too and from work in a carrying case every day. Takes up so much less space and feels wayyyyy better than the typical plasticy membrane keyboards you usually find in offices. I don’t use it really at home because I just built a 500$ custom, but I would be VERY happy using this as my main keyboard for gaming or working

    Great value no-frills keyboard
I didn’t want a keyboard with bluetooth or anything fancy, I just wanted something hot-swappable with a backlight. This is perfect, and the keycaps feel much better than my old Logitech G710+.

Installing the software is slightly janky, but it works perfectly fine once set up. You don’t actually need the software to use the keyboard anyway.

    Absolutely worth i
Just upgraded to this from a Ducky One 2 mini. Yes, you read that right. I UPGRADED from the Ducky.

Epomaker must’ve been paying attention to the reviews tech people were making of this board because this thing definitely feels better than what some tech reviewers made it sound like.

I saw that some people were complaining about rattly stabs or it sounding hollow but if this is what they had when they put those cons in I can’t imagine what they consider nice stabs or a not hollow board.

Decided to go with the XDA profile caps since I planned on replacing them anyways but they’re actually really nice. Mine came with a foam insert, I saw in one take apart that theirs didn’t, and lubed stabs. Compared to the Ducky I had this thing thoccs like crazy. Audible enough to bring satisfaction to anyone that likes mechanical keyboards but subtle enough to not piss everyone around you off when you’re typing. Great lighting on here too. Not at all gonna miss the RBG asthetic of the ducky with this thing.

I had foam and O-rings on my ducky to try and muffle it a little bit, because mine was a tad bit clacky and the stabs definitely rattled quite a bit (not as bad as razer or corsair boards but it did rattle), and this thing OUT OF THE BOX had a better tone to it. The fact that it’s hot swappable, has arrow keys and it’s under $100 is an absolute steal.

The only thing worth noting is that it only has the one kick stand level, so if you have a ducky or something similar it might feel a little weird at first not having that middle level option. However both of the levels available are totally comfortable in my opinion. No unsusual fatigue so far with either level for me.

If you’re like me and you’re at a point where you want your arrow/function keys back but don’t think you can find a decent board for a reasonable price look no further. This thing is 100% worth every penny spent.

    TLDR:
    -Thocc
    -Killer RGB
    -Adorable XDA keycaps
    -No stab rattle
    -Worth i

    Good board but needs work.
The yellow gats came pre lubed which is good. The stabs need some work, they came prelubed too.
The board is a bit flimsy and came dettached from the bottom case out of the box, you just have to adjust it according to the clips.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTanda da dare, tanto da dire

    PRO:

    – Compatta
    – Essenziale
    – hotswappabile
    – Meccanica
    – Keycaps gradevoli
    – Sensazione tatto/udito fantastica
    – RGB
    – Cavo Type C

CONTRO( pi che altro dettati dai miei gusti):

    -SHIFT dx da 1.75u
    – frecce facilmente confondibili
    – lettere (keycaps) praticamente invisibili con RGB
    disattivato
    – da aggiornare firmware

he eppo ep84 keyboard is amazing, its beautiful to look at,it looks like an already modded keyboard, i did buy new keycaps but i did not end up using them because these stock ones are too beautiful to change at the moment.
the stabilisers are not the best especially on the space bar and enter but that is something that can be modded, the keys sound amazing and a lot better then i thought, i was going to mod the keyboard but now i dont really have to cause the keys sound amazing, like i said the only thing i might do later down the line is the space bar stabilizers.
the rgb is really nice too, i just used the keys to change it as the program would not find my keyboard after hours of waiting but i dont really need to use it anyways.
overall its an amazing keyboard especially for the price since you get good switches and amazing keycaps.

    Ottima tastiera

    Good keyboard for the price
It sounds rather hollow and pingy (and the space bar rattles terribly), but it’s a good keyboard for the price if you’re willing to do some work to make it sound better.

The Gateron brown switches are.. not great. Bit rattly and scratchy. Not the biggest problem since you can easily swap them out, but since I had a much better option in the same order that didn’t need as much modding, I went with that.

    Solid keyboard, great value
    Overall a great keyboard.

    Pros:
    – Form factor is good for coding because the arrow/home/end/del keys are closer to the home row
    – Hot swap makes it trivial to replace and move around key switches (which will eventually fail as all key switches do, so it makes it easy to repair, no soldering or disassembly needed)
    – Disassembly is easy
    – PBT keycaps feel nice, don’t develop a shine like ABS keycaps
    – Stabilizers are quite good (some YouTube reviews mention they are bad, but I think they have been improved since then), way better than the Corsair K70 RGB I came from
    – Cable is detachable, never thought I would care about this but really comes in handy
    – Comes with a fantastic keycap puller
    Cons:
    – The font on the keycaps is kind of weird, I don’t really like it (this is preference)
    – Mine came significantly warped, meaning it would wobble – I fixed this by taking it apart and using a heat gun on the plastic bottom to reform it (boiling water is not hot enough to achieve this) – but I must take off a star because at this price such a basic issue should not pass QC
    – I couldn’t get the advertised software for reprogramming to work, but I ended up rebinding some keys in Windows using a registry utility from the internet (not sure about macOS/Linux, but you can probably find a way to do it at the OS level)

There are a fair few lighting modes and colors, that’s all I can say about the backlight since I always keep it off. The manual details everything.

    Good for its price
Great product overall, the design is simple, weight is decent, and loving the sound it makes when I’m typing. The fact it’s also hot-swappable gives me broader options to customise my keyboard, which I am looking forward to doing! The RGB isn’t really not well matched with these keycaps, but they do give out some options to choose from

    Software's bugged, but still fine
The RGB customisation software on this is extremely finicky – there were two different versions on the official site, and neither even detected my keyboard. I know they work for some boards, but I’m far from the only person who didn’t manage to get it to work, which is a damned shame. it’s not uncommon for components or drivers to change on the ‘same’ model, but they lose a star for not keeping it compatible with different versions of itself. There may be a workaround I haven’t found yet, but suffice to say that if it takes me more than a half hour of searching to get model-specific software to work then you buggered up.

Software aside though, the in-built RGB options are pretty varied, and while the ‘true blue’ was too dark to properly see some of the letters, the lighter blue option did me fine. If you want fancier RGB cycling then this has a few options too. If you’re okay with using presets then this will probably have one you like.

To be clear I’m not a mechanical keyboard guy – I got this thing because I wanted to build an actually quiet keyboard, and I needed a cheap tenkeyless hotswap board to put the switches in (Alpaca silent linears). This delivered, being the cheapest hotswappable option at time of purchase and so far performing without any hitches.

I have no basis for comparison, but uninstalling the old switches and installing the new ones felt straightforward. Once I figured out what I was doing, that is. It’s possible that other boards are easier to work with, but if a first-timer can uninstall and reinstall without breaking anything then that feels adequate at worst.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing sound and value for your money
I probably watched a total of 5 hours of various keyboard reviews. I looked at boards over $200 and compared them to ones that were in the $120 range. I almost splurged in order to get a board that I would appreciate typing on, but then a video review happened to mention this board.

The sound tests I saw online sounded too good to be true. I actually thought they were fake. When my board arrived I was half expecting it to sound terrible, it didn’t. It sounds almost as good as those $200 boards that I almost wasted my money on.

I was nervous that the black switches would be too fatiguing, I was wrong. They are the smoothest switches I’ve ever typed on. I am at my computer for 8+ hours per day and I still get excited when I have to write a long email.

    Can’t recommend this board enough!

    Amazing Value
I went with the Vintage colorway and the Gateron Yellow switches.

In regards to the switches, they’re amazing and probably my favorite switch I’ve tried out. They’re linear switches with no bump and are extremely smooth. The large keys like the spacebar, enter, and delete keys are all very thocky which is a pleasant surprise.

The 75-Key layout is my favorite keyboard layout I’ve encountered. I avoid full-size layouts because I’m guaranteed to punch my keyboard due to my low sensitivity, but also dislike minimalist keyboards that are missing a lot of important keys imo (F keys, dedicated arrow keys, and home + del).

The lights on the keyboard are some of the most punchy I’ve seen next to my Logitech G Pro keyboard w/ Romer-G tactile switches.

I love the vintage colorway and definitely recommend the keyboard because you won’t find anything this good for the price. If you’re just starting to get into mechanical keyboards, I’d start off with the ones that are closer to $30-$45 so you can find out what type of keys you truly like, and are able to fully appreciate the higher end keyboards later on.

    – bellissima out of the box, non richiede mod particolari e il suono dei tasti davvero stupendo.

Come fare?

    TL;DR: tastiera fantastica, compratela.

Gateron Yellows are the way to go for quiet office work
I purchased this keyboard based on recommendations for a quiet, well-made mechanical keyboard – and the Epomaker has not disappointed! I bought this specifically because it came with Gateron Yellow switches; while this probably isn’t as quiet as a customized and lubed board, it’s wonderfully quiet out of the box while still maintaining a mechanical feel. Reminds me a lot of the IBM and Macintosh keyboards I used to use in the early 90s, especially if you get the ‘Retro’ design.

Despite all-plastic construction, it feels very solid while having a 75% footprint which fits very well on my small desk space.

    Highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersProbabilmente la miglior 75% in circolazione

Case is a little creaky, but isn't worse than any other budget keyboard out there. I've seen many reviews claiming that the board is too light, and while it may not be as heavy as something with a brass or steel weight integrated into the body, it is perfectly heavy enough to prevent any sliding. I was half-expecting it to be as light as a classic logitec board. Easy to mod too. If you're in the market for a non-wireless mechanical keyboard and don't want to spend too much, go for this one. you won't be disappointed.

    Unparalleled value—satisfying to use.
The lights are adjustable in terms of brightness. The size of the keyboard I like—no number pad which I like.
I enjoy the way space bar feels.
This will beat any mechanical or non-mechanical keyboard around its price range

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersYes, for the price :)
Personally I love this keyboard. It’s the perfect size, and I like having a hot-swappable numpad detached so I can move it out of the way if I need to. 60%’s in my opinion are too small for my needs and feel uncomfortable to game on. I also need quick access to the F keys for LoL.
My only drawback, as others have stated, is the frame; you get what you pay for. It’s definitely not as heavy (although not super light either) as their 60%’s at the same cost. It feels a little cheaper than my other modded boards, and yet I still prefer this one. The frame can warp slightly after being picked up, but it’s heavy enough that I can just press down on the corners to fix it. A bit annoying, but not enough to return it, because the switches and overall aesthetics are great.
I got black switches for MOBAs. I find clicks are too loud and annoying for my friends on discord, and I much prefer the thock. These came well lubed and I didn’t need to add any at all; epomaker boards are pretty good about that. The resistance in these blacks are perfect as well for not making accidental inputs.
The caps though, felt a bit meh in my opinion (although you might not notice if you’re new to modding keyboards). I replaced mine right away with cherry caps that have a thicker material, for non-hollow sounding thocks.
The driver it comes with has a lot of RGB presets and custom key settings. It was a bit confusing at first but I figured it out in 5ish minutes.
All in all I’m pretty satisfied. Oh, and for a price point, I got this at $110.

Honestly bought this keyboard as a secondary/work keyboard but it is so much better than I hoped! The Gateron Black switches come extremely smooth, even if you don't decide to lube them they are already really nice as is but lubing them makes them even better! The RGB is bright and vibrant, I like how much lighting options there are built in so you don't have to download the software if you don't want to. My one and only gripe with this keyboard is that the rubber feet don't seem to work that well, it seems that the weak rubber combined with the keyboard being so lightweight makes it pretty easy to accidentally slide it while gaming. This can be very easily fixed however by just buying some stick on rubber. Overall amazing value and I will be using this board as my primary from now on!

Amazing mechanical keyboard for the price
I got the black and grey keyboard with Gateron Brown Switches. It’s got a very nice tactile feel, fairly quiet keyboard and because it’s hotswappable you can have a lot of options for modding- swap the switches, keycaps, add o-rings, lubing, the whole deal!

    – The build feels fairly sturdy, good weight so it doesn’t slide around, it sits flat on my desk.
    – See-through letters on the keycaps looks really cool with the RGB, however if the RGB is off it’s very difficult to see.
    – RBG looks very aesthetically pleasing, it’s not too obnoxious/bright. I personally like having the orange lights, it’s nice and doesn’t distract.
    – The stabilisers (as seen in the photo) are PCB-mounted, not sure if screw-on or snap-on but I would guess snap-on. This makes them very stable and they don’t rattle much, which makes the keyboard less noisy and much more pleasant, a HUGE plus. Also love that they’re a cute white and pink!
    – The 75% layout works great for me. I thought the arrow keys would feel a bit claustrophobic but I’ve had no issues with their placement at all, it feels very intuitive. The key labels are a bit different from UK keyboards, however if you’ve got the muscle memory for where UK keybinds are you won’t have an issue (it’s mostly for finding the #, , ” and @ symbols that it’s different).

I’m overall very pleased with this purchase, it’s a great keyboard and I hope to use it for many more years to come and mod it to my heart’s contempt! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a customisable pre-built mechanical keyboard.

EDIT- After opening up the keyboard, I noticed a few great things about it!
1- It’s got a layer of foam between the PCB and backplate
2- PCB and backplate are screwed together
3- Backplate is aluminium! Nice and sturdy.
4- There was a nice layer of foam underneath the PCB, inside the case. This makes it sound less hollow. I added a little bit more foam in the case to make it less hollow, but it was a welcome surprise to see some foam there already!
5- After lubing the switches and the stabilisers, my keyboard is “thoccy” (as enthusiasts like to say). Very smooth and satisfying, no scratchy pingy sounds although it sounded good before anyway.

    10/10

This is the perfect keyboard to get if you’re in the fence of upgrades or just getting prebuilt. It’s affordable so you don’t have to be afraid to test the waters but it’s good enough to where you won’t be dissatisfied keeping it the same. Black switches or yellow switches are the best prebuilt—they very rarely give them with yellows though.

I decided to buy a 75% keyboard (without the number pad) because my full-size keyboard had to be kept off-centre otherwise it would get in the way of my mousepad… this keyboard is the perfect size, and I really love the 80s/90s retro aesthetic. I got the brown switches on mine, I love how it feels to type and play games on it. Another important thing to point out is that you can unplug the keyboard from a port on the keyboard itself, this makes cleaning the keyboard far easier as you don’t have to bother with unplugging it from the back of the PC. 5/5, love it.

Another important thing to point out is that you can unplug the keyboard from a port on the keyboard itself, this makes cleaning the keyboard far easier as you don’t have to bother with unplugging it from the back of the PC. 5/5, love it.

    Absolutely amazing keyboard
Package came in on time, the keyboard built quality was surprisingly incredible. I ordered the white version with yellow gateron switches. The stabilizers are very well lubed and you can’t even hear them. The sound and feel is amazing. The lighting is quite bright and very nice quality led’s, quite a lot of presets. The only negative about the keyboard is the software. The program doesn’t recognize the keyboard at all so it’s basically useless until i get it resolved. Overall, the keyboard is amazing and totally worth the price!!!

    1 month review
Really happy with this purchase. Only downside is spacebar stab needs tuning out the box. Stab tuning is super easy. Someone in another review said you can’t replace cables because it requires a “short” one? that’s not correct, unless all the cables I have are “short”.

Definitely a top contender in wired mech keebs at this price poi

    Ottima tastiera meccanica entry-level

    Superb keyboard in every respec
Best keyboard I have ever tested and owned for several key reasons:
    – Competively priced for high-end;
    – Perfect layout and configuration;
    – Excellent PBT keycaps as standard;
    – USB-C connection in central location;
    – Smooth Gateron switches (mine brown);
    – Hotswappable switches (if you need it);
    – Discreet frame and unbranded outer bezel;
    – Reassuring weight and perfectly stable base;
    – Superb backlighting features and customisation;
    – Warm, even backlighting over the entire keyboard.
O-rings further improve the weight and feel of the keys.
Do not hesitate, just buy this keyboard. You will not regret it.

    Super Keyboard

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe only 84-key keyboard I ow
So it doesn’t matter what keyboard you use for gaming as long as it serves it’s purpose and this is from someone who plays Triple A titles to competitive titles like Rainbow Six Siege. Though my gaming days are becoming less, I love this keyboard. I have 4 keyboards in total, 2 mechanical blue switch, 1 red switch epomaker sk61 60% keyboard and this one. I hated my blue switch keyboard and the reason I have so many different keyboards is because they all have different switches and are different in sizes. My mechanical keyboards are TKL & full, i loved the TKL but my table is small for the allocated space i have for my mouse mat. So i switched to 60% keyboard, now i love that keyboard BUT red switches are not for everyone. It is so light that I fat finger everything. I also loved having more space on my desk however, i noticed that i needed the Fn keys and some page up and page down keys. Hence a year later (perhaps), i bought this one which is a brown switch. I don’t think i’m ever going back from this one. It is perfect size and has all the keys i actually use.

Also the function of being able to swap the switches in the future would be handy when i actually get into modding or repairing/maintaining my keyboards. I’m not a keyboard expert, so i cannot say if the lubes are good or not, but the keys are all responsive and they feel fine to me. Though about the noise level in my case, to compare with my other keyboards. It is softer than my red switches and they feel much better. I think i’m using the wrong typing technique but it works for me hence i think it is loud because of it. Noise level comparison with switches of the keyboards i own: Blue is the highest and brown is the softest. Red is closer to brown but it is still pretty loud.

Build quality, not an expert but for the price i paid its probably no the best build as you can read other people’s reviews and they might have some issues with it. Mine came with no issues that i could see and i love it.
So its all plastic and no feel of it makes it expensive, for almost 110$ keyboard it seems to be meh. If you invest a little more you can get a keyboard with better build quality (material used).

Everything about this keyboard is great if you're looking for a mechanical keyboard with this layout, hot-swap sockets, RGB, and no wireless. However, the legends on the keycaps are almost impossible to read unless the RGB is on. The legends are a nearly the same shade of gray as the rest of the keycap, so when the RGB lights are off they blend in.

good keyboard, not so good keycaps
Very good keyboard so far. Keycaps are definately not dye-sub, so dock a point for incorrect adverstisment. They might be pbt, but they are very cheap feeling thin keycaps with ugly generic looking legends. You definately are going to want to sub out the keycaps for a proper set.

Otherwise, the rest of the keyboard is awesome. I went for the black switches, they are smooth and slightly lighter feeling than cherry blacks. Plate mounted pre lubed stabs, 5 pin hot swap sockets, its solid value for the money

I got this keyboard upgrading from a 60% because I needed function keys. It was everything I expected and more! The keyboard came with lubed stabilizers, I don't know about the switches they definitely could be. If you are buying for your first mechanical keyboard PLEASE don't get anything other than black switches they sound the best and are AMAZING! I love the keyboard and am very happy with my purchase.

For the price you are paying, this keyboard is really great choice. Especially if you are looking for a good entry keyboard. It uses USB-C cable and the keycaps are good quality and have a cool color theme that remind me of the one's from Drop. I will say the stabilizers on a few keys, especially the spacebar make it rattle. Easily fixable, just mod it through lube or bandages, or you can even upgrade the stabilizers. The keyboard is hotswappable so you will enjoy upgrading if you please. Overall I recommend it.

Great Keycaps and amazing switches (not cheap knockoff)
For 100$ you really can’t go wrong. My selling point was the option to have black switches, which are rare nowadays.

    Very satisfied so far

1 year and a half later; updated my review from 4 stars to 5 because I’ve had literally 0 issues with this keyboard and it feels just as good as my first day with it, if not better. Solid stuff, will buy another when the time comes from this company.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat first hot-swappable keyboard.
Was introduced to this keyboard through some YouTube channels. So far I’m very happy about this keyboard. My main criteria was to get a hot-swappable keyboard so that I could try out different switches.

    – The keys seem thick and sturdy and doesn’t have a cheap feel.
    – I purchased the keyboard with Gateron Red switches but I eventually replaced most of my switches with Boba U4 RGB Silent Tactile switches. Although I mostly WFH, there are occasions where I’ve gone into a co-working space and didn’t want to produce too much noise.
    – When I took the keyboard apart to change the switches I noticed that there was padding between the metal plate and the PCB board itself, this is another reason why this keyboard was already quiet when I got it.
    – The border of the keyboard was very easy to remove and I didn’t have much issue with it.
    – The only weird thing I noticed here was that there weren’t any screws holding the plate to the bottom cover of the keyboard.
    – The keyboard is very light so it isn’t too much of a burden carrying this keyboard around.
    – It also comes with a helpful pamphlet describing other functions of the keyboard such as media keys, switching between RGB modes, etc.
    – The lighting on this keyboard is great and has plenty of options.

So far I’m happy with this keyboard and would recommend to anyone who’s looking for an inexpensive keyboard to try and experiment with.

Love the hotswap feature and 75% layout. Gateron switches are alittle loose in the plate and have come out while taking keycaps off, but kaihl switches sit firmly in the plate. I would prefer the usb-c connection to be on the side and not under the board but that’s just nit-picking. Everything else is great, works well

Good keyboard, but maybe not worth the price
I’m new to mechanical keyboards, so take that into consideration when reading my review.

The keyboard feels solid and generally well-made. The case is plastic but doesn’t feel cheap.

The red switches (no mods) are smooth, quiet, and easy to push. The lower activation force took a little getting used to coming from brown switches, but it was less than a day of office work. However one of the switches (F1) pulled out of the PCB when swapping the keycap.

The LEDs look great and the white PCB reflects the light such that the effect is much more even than I originally expected.

My biggest issue is that at $95 it was a tough cost to justify – admittedly the “hot swap” capability would be worth it if I had other switches to swap with.

Overall, the form factor is great (but not much smaller than a full size keyboard), it feels quality (but not high end), and looks really nice.

    Bad quality, good looks
First things first, this is a nice looking keyboard it has the “custom” look to it without the price tag. HOWEVER, the quality is bad, like really bad. There’s a lot of flex to the board since it’s all plastic and the cable quality is also pretty shotty. Stabilizers are a little wonky however they do come pre lubed. The last issue I had with this keyboard is the keycaps. They’re nice thick PBT keycaps however the letters on the grey keycaps are so hard to see without the RGB on (if your like me and prefer RGB free this will be a problem)

    The good stuff
    The looks
    Hot swappable
If RGB is your thing you’ll like the shine through and the keycaps (for me however this wasn’t really a plus)
Lastly the price for $80 it’s hard not to recommend with some keycaps, lubing the switches and new stabilizers along with a new cable it’s a pretty good board minus the plastic case.

Pretty good keyboard for the price
Feels nice to type on, if you’re experienced with keyboards you might find it wobbly depending on how you type. Lights look fine and can use a shortcut to disable them. Keycaps come off pretty easily and can be replaced easily. PBT keycaps are incredibly good compared to ABS so that’s a benefit, you won’t have to buy your own along with the keyboard. Hot swappable is a very good perk that comes with the keyboard too but sometimes the switches will come loose from the keyboard which is a little odd, I don’t really know what causes that.

I’d recommend it, especially if you intend to mod it and alter it when you get the chance to.

Great board. Absolutely love mine. Loved it so much i bought 2 more for family. All the lighting modes work. RGB is decently bright. Build is plastic with a white plate. There is some flex if the case isn't snapped together firmly. After it is the flex isn't noticable. The USB C plug is a bit of a pain since it is recessed and you don't have a ton of room for longer plugs.

I’ve had no problems with this so far. I did swap the caps-lock key for a really clicky pink switch. which gives it a nice feeling.
the layout does take a little to get used to, I’m a professional programmer and working with this keyboard is a joy.
software available is a bit lacking and confusing, but you don’t need to use it often.

Good typing experience with Mac and PC support.
The rgb is configurable and has some interesting patterns. It can also be turned off if you don’t care (like me) and just wanted a decent 75% board for typing without spending $400+ on a keyboard plus waiting for a drop.
I’d recommend. Since it’s hot swappable, you could also upgrade the switches or lube them without needing to de-solder.

The build quality of the keyboard is there. It feels sturdy and honestly as if you are getting your money’s worth.

I’ve had this keyboard for months now and I love it. My only true complaint is the usb port which is lodged in the middle of the keyboard within this weird trench. I’d prefer it in a more accessible place.

    Excellent keyboard overall.
The switches and illumination are great.
I like that there’s so many lighting options, although I only use solid colors anyway.

The keyboard lacks customization software. Even with the keycool software (which was not easy to find) you can’t customize the color of individual keys and key remapping is limited.

For instance, you can’t remap the function key, create alternate function keys, or map key combos.
Macros are also very limited. Essentially macros function as an instant activation and cannot be mapped based on press and release. Most of this can be substituted with other software like autohotkey, but it would be nice to have a hardware based option for this as not all software correctly captures key strokes. These are features that a person would usually want in a small form factor keyboard.

That being said, given the price this is definitely worth it.

Not the greatest keyboard in the world but it absolutely worth the price for a hot swap keyboard.

Stabs are good, keycaps are decent,, lighting works well and it is solidly built.

The only issue is the lighter keys are hard to read without the LEDs.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic performance per dollar!
I am addicted to buying keyboards. Epomaker seems to be the hottest value keybs out there right now so they’ve been getting my money. This one has a legit nice layout, there’s no need to remember function recipes or anything because it has all the buttons I use on a regular basis as surface buttons.

The caps are way nicer than the price suggests they’d be, very good (smooth, anti-oil, durable). The switches are solid name brand. The chassis seats everything well, housing is firm for the price. The RGB is sexy.

    Love this board!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersA Perfect Compromise Between Size & Heft to Be Your Double-Duty Keyboard For Home/Office And Travel
*KEYCAPS – ILLUMINATED CHARACTER swappable keycaps, (MAC caps included to swap-out defaults) and the default keycaps feel nice to type on. The plastic is firm and textured enough that it is satisfying to type on them.
Once you adjust to the smaller size, you can easily adapt to touch-typing with decent speed and accuracy.

*SWITCHES -The switches in this keyboard are Optical Gateron switches. I received the model with RED switches and I have to say they feel great. Smooth and just the right resistances without being too loud or “clacky” that they would disturb your mates in the next cubicle, in your workspace, or at a LAN party. MODDER’S NOTE: You can only swap-in other Gateron Optical switches, so be sure of your decision as this will affect your modding options. If you DO decide to mod this board, the included keycap and switch pullers worked just fine and with little difficulty.

*STABILIZERS – They are nice, and work perfectly. The space bar moves uniformly if I press the far-left or right sides.

*CASE/HOUSING – Solid and sturdy with good weight for an 84-key keyboard. There is a gradient/tilt as well as (2) thickly rubberized flip-out feet to increase the angle if you desire. The board is stable and stays put on the wood, vinyl, slate, and glass surfaces that I tested typing on. NOTE: Weight being a double-edge sword here, great for giving a solid and stable workspace, but adds to travel weight, so consider if you plan to use for LAN events. That said, this keyboard works fine as a “lap-board” if you leave the feet retracted.

*USB – The USB is removable, and the included cloth braid sleeved USB-A to C cable was nice quality for this price point. Note, it IS a little stiff, so expect to have kinks held for a time if you are OCD about that kind of thing… The port feels solid and doesn’t give the impression that it will fail with reasonable care when plugging/unplugging if this will be a travel board. The only improvement I wished for was strain reliefs for each end’s plug instead of just extended “collars”.

*RGB – No drivers needed! No complaints, with brightness levels, animation speeds, or selection of patterns.
