| Ensure the surface you are applying the sealant/adhesive to is completely clean with no dust. Then cut off the end of the sealant nozzle at a 45 degree angle. | Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun and practise using it on old newspaper. You will want to get the hang of applying the sealant in even quantities. Be careful not to squeeze the trigger too hard or the sealant will shoot out. Be gentle and increase pressure gradually. | Place the nozzle of the tube against the surface of where you want the sealant/adhesive applied and gently squeeze the trigger as you have practised. Holding the gun at a 45 degree angle, move it along the length of the area you want bonded once the sealant starts to come out of the nozzle. | Once you have finished, press the release catch at the back of the sealant gun which will stop all pressure on the tube. |

Easy to use.
You buy a silicone gun for yes silicone, decorator caulk, glue. Anything that fits in a tube. Easy to control, great pressure. Felt sturdy and did the job.

I literally wiggled in excitement when I heard the delivery driver’s van pull up and ran to greet him at the door but in typical Amazon delivery driver style he was ancient history by the time I opened the door and there it was…. right where he’d tried to hide it in plain view of every passby that cared to look sideways and then my email beeped…confirmation that the parcel had been handed to resident!! I picked it up off the floor and backed into the house, worried that someone might want to steal my application gun, and huddling in a corner I ripped open the box and packaging to find it laid out before me…my application gun!!
Oh how shiny and strong it looked, surely I was going to look like a real craftsman wielding this magnificient piece of engineering!!
I hurried out to my shed, and retrieving my tube of silicon sealant I carefully inserted it into the frame of my new weapon of mass sealing! Slowly and gingerly I pulled the trigger until I felt it brace against the tube of sealant and with a roar of “YOU SHALL NOT LEAK” I applied a uniform thin bead of sealant to my panel…
It worked…. oh how wonderful I felt…. it worked!! Taking a selfie of myself for my hall of fame I released the pressure trigger, re-capped the sealant and gently, lovingly and with a tender smile laid the application gun down in it’s allocated space on my tool shelf.
Contented, I went inside the house and later dreamt of fluffy unicorns dancing around my bathroom waving application guns, that’s how happy I am with it!
I could have just said it works…. but hey-ho!!

Good product for value. Has a stick near handle that you can slide to reopen tubes. Just remember to clean it. Mechanism was a bit tricky at first but if you apply right amount of pressure and pull it works fine. Was a bit hard to get silicone out at first, needed a steady and strong grip. Overall good product.

This product came really quickly however, I could not use it as it was so stif, I had to use WD40 and leave over night before I could use it… not a good buy, as its hard to use as it sticks all the time

Solidly built and good value
Great value, solidly built tool. I had a tube of sealant that – as it turns out – had actually gone off. This thing did its darndest to push it out though, with no hint of bending or breaking. I suspect a cheaper tool would have come apart. Really pleased.

It's ok, does the job for the price
Got this to seal up a DIY chicken coop with some silicone sealant. Overall the device does the job but there are a few cons to it:
– No cutting tool to cut the end of the sealant to a decent size
– The handle is a little uncomfortable and can dig into your hands if you’re at it for a while

Step 2 – using a spray bottle with washing up liquid and water spray over the top of it and to the general areas roughly 30cm back from it then use one of the decorators tools to give the finish you want.
Make sure you have lots of kitchen towel and big bag handy as it comes out the gun whether you want it to or not.

I found this item very easy to use as a complete novice. Wasn’t sure how to load it it as it didn’t come with instructions but on YouTube there was an excellent clip that showed how to do it. It is sturdy but not heavy and in use I found it very easy to use and it didn’t need strong pressure to operate it. Excelle

Needed this to fit double glazing windows to a static caravan. It came in rapid time and did the job perfectly. I found releasing the tension on the rod once I was done with each window stopped the silicone from continuing a small bit after I was finished.

Solid performance
Solid performer, works well with a minimum of fuss. Have gone through 12 lots of 310ml sealant with it so far and no complaints.

Sealant tube does not escape when you pull the trigger. It is well-made and cheap, and it works.
Good gun for the money. Used for loads of tubes of Tiger Seal (dont buy), Sikaflex and silicone, and it’s still like new.

The strongest cartridge gun I have purchased so far – I’ve not managed to break this one yet, and that normally happens within a month with other more flimsy models.

I will admit this was a ‘close your eyes and pick one’ purchase because I’ve no idea what I’m looking for with sealant guns. But it is a sturdy thing and works really well. Excellent bog standard gun, does the job and doesn’t have any frills. Would not be suitable for extended heavy daily use.

VERY fast delivery, excellent price and very good for the odd DIY job round the house. Not sure how it would compare with other more expensive, but it was more than OK for what I needed it.
After a bit of research about what on earth a sealant gun was and why I couldn’t just use my hand to squeeze the tube thingy I decided to go with this product as it got great reviews and was a decent price.
I purchased Everbuild FOREVERWH Forever White Sealant to use with this gun. To save those of us that are new to this valuable time, there is a metal switch thingymijig at the top of the sealant gun that you lift up so the long metal pole whatsit, raises up and you can insert the sealant bottle easily. Please don’t waste 20 minutes of your life like I did, waving the gun around in the air wondering how the bottle gets inside. Better yet. YouTube it.
Don’t forget to remove the old sealant from around whatever area you’re using it on, who puts sealant over old sealant? lol…. Me, me I did that.
Lessons learned, I am now a pro and visit my friends and relatives homes looking for things to seal.

DOING A GREAT JOB THIS PRODUCT!! IT TAKES ALL THE DIFFERENT SIZES OF SEALANT SIZES UP TO 450 EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS 400ML. IT HAS A GOOD COMFORTABLE GRIP AND VERY EFFECTIVE WHEN DOING THE ACTUAL APPLICATION OF THE FITTED PRODUCT DURING MY DIY’S IT DESERVES ALL THE FIVE STARS.

Have used loads of these in the past but needed a new one having lost my old one. For the price I dont think it can be bettered. It arrived after a couple of days and survived my heavy handed handling of it. All in all thoroughly recommended.

i have been surprised how tricky i found it to get a proper quality sealant gun such as this. there`s a lot of bad quality out there for much higher prices.Make this the one you buy.Strong steel frame and good pressure release so you don`t get sealant still oozing out when you stop squeezing.

This was the first time I’ve used a sealant gun, this one seemed much cheaper than a lot of the others but it seems perfect to me. I guess you may want to spend more if you’re a professional but for the average home DIY person I can’t see any reason to.
