Good value
Good value for money, easy to setup and did exactly what I wanted it to do. The only reason was not a 5 was because I found it difficult to get the blade lined up exactly in the correct place for the cut.
Great machine ,cut easily through some 30x30x3mm angle iron as well as a 20mm thick brass rod. Quite surprised by small amount of sparks on iron cutting but do wear eye protection.. Compact and lightweigh
This product worked fine to begin with, but when it failed getting after sales care or finding a way to get it through Amazon is very difficult – not something I have been able to do at the time of writing.

A volte leggendo le recensioni dei clienti Amazon, non riesco a capire che metro di giudizio adoperino. La macchina, pardon, la lama fa quello che dicono, taglia perfettamente metalli ed altro materiali. Il segreto ovviamente nel disco lama. Su questo modello la morsa non all’altezza della tecnologia, per questo le 4 stelle, anche se ha delle soluzioni geniali per i tagli angolari. Per la durata per ora non posso giudicarla, ma ha gi tagliato abbastanza ferro per farmi dire che vale la pena. Nota dolente sono le schegge di metallo che colpiscono la parte posteriore della macchina e rimbalzano sul viso dell’operatore, perci se non volete modificarla applicando degli schermi home made, occhiali addosso tassativamente, meglio ancora lo schermo, eviterete di ricevere le schegge in faccia. Consegna Amazon, ineccepibile come sempre. Acquister la lama per l’acciaio inox, in quanto speciale, come comprensibile, dato la particolarit del materiale. Considerazione finale, risolve in modo egregio e velocissimo, i tagli di innumerevoli materiali anche in cantiere, dato che leggerissima da trasportare, ad una velocit sorprendente confrontandola con una sega a nastro e soprattutto mantenendo la squadra nei tagli. Un consiglio: fate lavorare la lama senza sforzare, il segreto.

I should have bough one years ago
Excellent piece of kit, clamp is reasonably good, eats through 41mm x 41mm u section steel (unistrut) like butter. 10mm threaded bar is also cuts easily. Pretty clean cut, just a quick rub over with file to take of the sharp edge on the u section. threaded bar does not need a lead filed on it, nice clean cuts. I’ve only cut steel on mine, so I can’t comment on aluminium performance (or wood).
You need to wear goggles, not glasses when cutting as the ‘chips’ can fly up easily. No need to force the saw, as it cuts through easily on its own…
I have never used a grinding disc type chop saw, but I would think this is much easier to clean up than the grinding ‘dust’ that gets everywhere when grinding. I would also think this is much quicker at cutting than a grinding disc type saw.

A very capable saw that will quickly make clean cuts through wood and metal as advertised.
Whilst the size of matrial that can fit in the saw is not as big as more expensive saws, this is much better than using an angle grinder to cut metal.
If trying to fit out a workshop on a budget I can highly recommend, as it works amazingly, and it great value.
This is a nice little saw and not nearly as noisy as I thought it would be. I did have one problem, it did not cut square even with the guidelines lining up. I had to alter the clamping lever slot a little to make it cut square. Saved me sending it back. Probably a one in a million fault. Cuts aluminium bar like butter. Threaded rod, easy. Just go slowly and let the saw do the work.

Hay que apretar un poco los tornillos de la guia, el del eje sobre el que bascula el conjunto del disco y motor, para que no haya ninguna holgura.
La manivela de la mordaza (el mangito negro, no la de 3 radios, viene en una bolsita de plstico, junto al colector de virutas y las llaves allen)
Una vez hecho, queda perfectamente ajustada.
Corta ngulos entre 0 y 45 grados, con subdivisiones de 5 grados entre los 15, 30 y 45. La escala es muy precisa.
Viene con un disco tipo Widia con el que cort un tubo de seccion rectangular de aluminio de 40 x 20 x 1 mm. A 45 grados y el resultado no pudo ser mejor (corte super limpio, perfectamente recto, el angulo vertical a 90 grados perfectos y al unir los dos trozos a 45 grados y comprobar con una escuadra calibrada, qued perfecto, sin mas ajustes que topear la escala a 45 grados)
Lo que ms me sorprendi, a parte de la precisin, fue la limpieza del corte, que nada tiene que envidiar a las mquinas profesionales de los talleres de carpinteria metlica.
An no he cortado perfiles de hierro, pero creo que no va a decepcionar.
Es robusta y muy manejable y funciona con sobrada fuerza, conectada a una base de enchufe de solo 10 Amperios, as que no hay que preocuparse de que salte wl interruptor automtico del domicilio.
Viene con 3 llaves allen, un tope de caucho para la mordaza y una pieza de plastico duro, tipo PVC para aquel que desee conectar un aspirador de virutas en la parte trasera del disco.
La base es de chapa de acero, pero no se deforma en absoluto. Es perfectamente rgida . En resumen: Es una tronzadora ligera, robusta, precisa, con un buen acabado, embalaje bien protegido e incluso todas las partes articuladas vienen perfectamente lubricadas.

As all the Evolution tools (I’ve got 3 other saws from them), this is well made & cuts very well!
I had a problem with the first one I got after 5 months of light use (motor just stopped) but the service I got from the manufacturer was absolutely superb. From sending proof of purchase and serial number it took 2 days for the replacement to arrive. That kind of customer care deserves praise.

A excellent machine however there is no laser guidance for optimum accuracy as advertised hence four stars
I was quite dubious about all the good reviews at first, but thought I’d go for it anyway. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I am very pleasantly surprised!
So far I have only used it to cut rusty 25mm box section at 2mm thickness and 12mm threaded bar. It cut through these with no effort whatsoever, leaving straight and clean cuts – what’s more, the cut to the threaded bar was so clean that nuts went straight on without any hassle.

Excellent saw for the money cut 3mm by 25mm miled steel without problem did 150 cuts and blade has started to wear.
Just Brilliant. Clean cuts in steel, wood, plastic. Light and portable. Remember to buy an extra blade.

Borrowed one of these before so i knew how good it was, decided to buy one excellent value for money absolutely eats steel i would highly recommend getting one !!
This is a truly versatile piece of workshop equipment for me. Small footprint but sturdy. As claimed by the manufacture I can confirm that it does cut (burr free) all the materials stated. I can also add plastics to the list as I had no issue cutting Acetal bar (20mm) and acrylic tubing (20mm).
Just check the material rest (used to clamp the material against) is square as the clamp does tend to push the material upwards slightly, but with care the Rage 4 cuts accurately and cleanly.
The only niggle I have with the Rage 4 is that you do not know where the cut line is without bringing the saw blade down and positioning one of the saw teeth near the cutting point. If there was a pointer/gauge/laser on the guard or base to indicate the cut position that would have been just perfect. But as mentioned it is just my niggle. And just to add…earplugs are a must!!
Very impressed overall and I feel confident using the Rage4 as often as I can, saving long stints on a bandsaw and especially the self powered hacksaw! A very capable and efficient piece of equipment and is highly recommended

It cut up a huge amount of scrap wood (64 bags full) from an old greenhouse without a hitch and is still sharp and working well.
Given the price (well below anything else) and portability it is very good value.

I bought this to chop spare wood for my log burner, having lots of old planks and timber from a building project. No setting up it works straight from the box. Cuts cleanly and easily even through old nails. I think more suitable for a right handed person, so I use it, not my husband.

his saw is unbelievable, it really is. I got the saw, set it up – easy, and picked a piece of 2 inch by 1/2 inch steel bar to try it out on.
it cut it easily – no trouble at all… quickly with no strain on me or the machine. I have arthritis in both my right shoulder and elbow so I needed a machine that is easy to use and capable of cutting wood, copper pipe, steel bar, what ever. This is the machine. get one.
