This saw is lighter and easier to assemble and set up compared to my last saw, it looks good quality apart from the dust bag. I’ve only used it a couple of times so can’t comment on reliability. Pleased I bought it.
I have just bought this model, order came the next day, saturday 29th March,set up and played with it; how did l not survive with a sliding feature , l really like it, makes it a lot easier. One downside l have found, you will need a clearance plate when only doing vertical cutting, very small cuts [slices] fall under the plate , this is my opinion only; l will be making one.Setting up the saw, was easy, no need for instructions, went together easy, that’s a first.
The blade was true upon checking 90 degree 89.97 l got it too, l have not yet tried diagonally, another problem, [ minor in my estimation, the saw dust even with the Henry switched on flowed from the saw
The multi material blade produces amazingly neat cuts, even in mdf skirting and laminate flooring (which is what I originally bought it for).
Angles and bevels are very accurate – I followed the instructions for calibrating, although mine didn’t need any adjustment. Calibration is easy if you have a combination square that includes a 45 degree angle, such as the “Magnusson” (about 6 quid).
As many others have said, the dust bag isn’t much use so you’ll need to use a hoover indoors or put down a tarp if outside (and hope it’s not windy!).
I now need to do a lot of cutting of sleepers, which are too big for this saw unfortunately (I need the ends to be neat too, so cutting from both sides isn’t an option). For the majority of diy jobs though the maximum cutting depth of 65mm is perfectly fine.
My husband is very pleased with this tool. It was a reasonable price, had an excellent assembly manual and was delivered exactly as promised, 2 days after ordering. Would definitely recommend
Bought this for my son and he loves it.
Really easy to set up first time and operates really well, each cut like a knife through butter.
Fairly simple to set up, but did need some minor adjustments for accuracy. Blade is very good cutting through tanalised wood, this is all I’ve tried it on so far. The dust bag is a complete waste of time, it doesn’t collect anything, so the slide rail protector is very useful. The laser isn’t particularly accurate and soon becomes obscured by dust being ejected directly onto it. Perhaps a dust extractor would sort this out but I’m too stingy to buy one. The clamps aren’t great, the screws to secure them can’t easily be tightened enough to stop the clamps moving. Felt sturdy, didn’t slide around on the bench thanks to rubber feet. For the few niggles it has I’m still glad I bought it, it’s saved me a great deal of time and effort on it’s first use.
This is a good quality saw with almost all parts made from metal. I have used it to cut some oak for furniture making, which it handled with ease. Just be aware that the blade may need to be squared relative to the base and fence out of the box: mine certainly did. There are several good YouTube videos showing you how to do this.
You can mitre and compound mitre . You can bevel. It tilts over 45 degrees . It’s very versatile in the range of materials cut . Makes a very nice cut even on acrylic faced mdf . Aluminium angle is a bit of a fight . Put your GOGGLES on for that !
Comes as a kit which requires assembly, instructions very good. Cutting blade cuts very clean and precise.
Very good. Just then you buy get a straight blade. More easy how to do is on YouTube. Big plus that have lazer what saving me a lot of times. Always using for any job what have to do. Very helping me and my life its more easy with this.

OK, so it’s not a De Walt, buit it’s good enough for an ardent DIYer. I use both cutting angles and it works well and is accurate enough for my needs.
Great saw perfect and accurate cuts, the laser line is good very easy to use,only downside is the dustbag collection its not good only collects a small amount,overall its a great saw.
Not the biggest they supply but great for my requirements.
Comes with a metal/wood cutter blade which I wanted to cut some 30 x 30 x 3mm steel box section.
It made easy, quick & clean cuts in a fraction of the time it would take using other methods.

I use this all the while for accurate cutting, although recommended on YouTube to adjust the settings of various bits of the saw, I found that it wasn’t necessary, as all adjustments were fine, out of the box. I bought this as a timesaver for installing laminate flooring and skirting to my ground floor. The saw works fine and the 45 deg facility is a godsend. However, my big gripe is regarding the dust collection facility. This has been designed badly, such that the bulk of the dust created ends up in the air, on the floor and surrounding surfaces – really disappointing as the saw was used predominately indoors during inclement weather.
Bought to saw up all the timber left from house renovations.

The dust bag isn’t worth having as all the saw dust collects everywhere but the bag!

Easy to setup, good product, cuts both wood and steel. Easy to use.
Used recently to cut decking boards. Made light work of the job with good square ends.
It’s good value, other’s cost significantly more, need to check blade angles first during setup, cuts just fine
Great value for money, instructions to put it together are very basic, but just take your time. Make sure you install the blade with the correct rotation direction. All the safety guards are good and operate automatically, both whilst stood or at work.
Has to be a 10/10 from me as long as it lasts, which with being new I do not know yet.
Don’t get bolts to fasten to same make stand, don’t get instructions on where all the parts attached, laser is out of alignment and can’t be moved, will not cut 6×6, will not cut 4×4 without rotating or putting a level in the vice, the thread bar grip is flimsy, the short vertical grip is too short but uts a smooth cut even at angles, does the job.

Brilliant bit of kit for the price, definitely would recommend for the DIY’er and small shop environment. It’s loud as most mitre saws are, my only gripe is the laser is not great on the one I got, easily gets faint when the sawdust is flying, tbh I don’t really need the laser but would have liked a stronger beam, but hey at this price it is a gripe not worth worrying about. it cuts well and is easy to set up.
Will be a great addition to my workshed.
So versatile it will be so useful.

Well what can I say about something that I haven’t opened the box to yet. I’ve had this for over a month now and not even opened it for all I know it may not work or pars missing. And it’s to late to send back. But it should work. HOPEFULLY

Reading reviews about other similar equipment, the negatives aren’t here with this. It was easy to put together, no setting up needed. Presion clicks and well made. Laser is accessible and doesnt clog up. Dust bag works and it looks good too. I bought a cheap folding work bench to stand it on (to save my knees) I wish I’d reached a bit deeper in my pocket and bought the proper evolution stand with extending arms as it would stop the larger planks from falling to the floor when cut.
I had to return this model and order the “mains” version. No problems with the return, thanks Amazon.
An incredible machine. Does all I wanted. It is robust and easily does the job. I am a little disappointed that the mains version does not include the cuttings collection bag which is included in the 110v version.
Great bit of kit for a D I Y er, the laser is spot on and accurate, if I’m doing a project I use the saw for everything I can, safety has been well thought of too, I haven’t come across any part u could hurt yourself unless taking guards off which I would not recommend, powerful and makes any wood work job easy, I would recommend this saw to anyone who does wood work professionally or just as hobby
I didn’t realise what builders specification was so was shocked this didn’t have a standard plug. Nearly returned it due to this but purchased a power pack thing instead, really glad I did as I love this machine

This chopsaw is amazing, it cuts Mahogany like butter, it is accurated when set up, and quiet. This is my fourth chop saw during 35years
As I’ve been supplied all Summer with offcuts and other wood for burning in my Woodburner and I hadn’t had a chance to cut it up. I decided to buy the Evolution R210SMS+. There are a host of features I haven’t used and may never use, but it is ideal for cutting up equal lengths of wood for storage for burning over the winter. Wasn’t that difficult to assemble and found the Videos on YouTube helpful. I’m sure I’ll use the other features one day, but in the meantime it has made life much easier.
