Works On My Windows 10 Laptop
I use this with my windows 10 laptop and it works like a dream. If laptop hasn’t picked it up for any reason a simple restart solves the problem. Tried with both usb-3 and usb-c ports.

Producto idneo para leer o grabar DVD y Blu-ray. Lleva dos tomas de USB tipo 1 para la transmisin de datos y para la alimentacin elctrica.
De la grabacin no puedo opinar, porque no la uso. Para la visualizacin en pc recomiendo el programa gratuito Leawo Blu_ray Player, ya que otros como el VLC necesitan archivos, para el blu-ray que habr que buscar en internet.

Returned but then got fixed
Had to return this item back due to it got damaged in transit however it was despatched another one which then worked fully and now happy with it. Works perfectly.
Aujourd’hui, l’utilisation des DVD et des Blu-ray se fait rare. Mais qui n’a pas une collection de ces petite galettes chez lui, accumule pendant des annes pour les regarder en home cinma. Moi, j’avais une collection de plus de 200 DVD et d’une centaine de Blu-ray. Aujourd’hui tout s’est fait avec beaucoup plus d’aisance en streaming et d’autres services dmatrialiss. Il me fallait donc un lecteur universel connect mon PC (qui sait lire ma collection de VCD, SVCD, DVD, Blu-ray et Blu-ray 3D), pour que je puisse les ripper et le mettre sur mon serveur maison. Avec ce lecteur, qui ne cote vraiment pas chr, vous obtenez un couteau suisse pour prenniser toute votre collection de CD ou Blue-Ray. videmment ce n’est pas le haut de gamme de salon au niveau look et finition, mais dans le domaine numrique, la seule chose qui compte vraiment: c’est qu’un appareil fonctionne! Et cela il fait bien. Achetez un exemplaire pour vous-mme et gardez le pendant les annes venir pourquoi vous soyez rtrocompatible avec le monde des galettes CD et Blue-Ray pour le reste de votre vie.
Ce lecteur est livr avec un notice en anglais. La reconnaissance sur PC Window 10 n’a pas t automatique. Aprs deux deux tlchargements d’un logiciel infructeux j’ai russi tlcharger le logiciel LEAWO BLU RAY PLAYER. Il fonctionne bien.
Excellent value for money
I was extremely doubtful when I ordered this Blu Ray reader. I was worried about compatibly and whether my fairly old i3 HP laptop would be able to support it.
But on connecting it and downloading the Power DVD program, everything else was easy … Especially as I am not very computer savvy..
But I’m very happy… Excellent product.

Drive worked as expected issues with software
iMac and MacBook Pro would not recognise blu ray dvd in drive – kept saying permission issues . This appears to be a issue with the software I am using and not the drive .
Lightweight BluRay Drive that can be used for both work and play
I needed a replacement BluRay drive for backups to disks of various sizes for work, as well having the option to play movies. No software is provided with the drive, but I already had the software to work with the other drive, so I just had to plug and play with my data writing and bluray playing applications in Windows 10.

Had a problem initially with the drive not playing certain items on the Blu Ray menu so got in touch with customer support who replaced the drive without any fuss. Works like a dream now. Impressive!
Does the job and seems to do it well.
The build quality of this external drive is way better than I expected – a solid metal top and bottom with a plastic inner shell should enable the drive to last.
This drive is perfect for ripping standard dvd and bluray disks. It won’t recognise UHD disks but then again it doesn’t claim to be able to.
Personally, I’m very happy with the item and it does exactly what I need it to do.
However, I think something is fishy about the drive – it claims to be an LG drive but inside it is clearly not. I suspect its a cheaper drive that has been flashed with LG firmware (just a theory on my part as i have no conclusive proof either way) but honestly, I don’t personally care as it works well and for the circa 60 I paid for it I think it’s very good value for money.

Really easy to use. If you have a USB c port on your pc/ laptop you don’t even need to plug it into the mains as the c port will power it.

Get the right software
I only had one BLuray disc to test the system on a windows machine. VLC gave me problems which were not resolved by the suggested actions. I downloaded Powerdvd that gave a stuttering unwatchable result. I awaited the arrival of a second disc in case it was the disc at fault. It arrived. No difference. then I downloaded AIseesoft blu-ray player. Plays like a dream. No problem with the discs or the player. Only the software I had used. Maybe you would have more luck. I have a lot of software on the system so it might have interfered with the others but all I want to do is watch BLu-ray discs. This is enough. Good value.

Although there was no software (so despite owning a Window 10 Personal Computer, this drive would not work or recognise a new BluRay disk) I downloaded PowerDVD from CyberLink on free trial which enabled me to use it. The item is good quality and delivery was fast.

I use Linux and got anxious in buying one just to RIP PSOne and PS2 Games for my Emulator, but it definitely works wonderfully, I can now play my Games on my PC, for any Linux Users out there, if you planning on buying this product, get ‘Brasero’ Application for RIPPING Games via ‘Disk Copy’ to create ISOs. Also for BluRay movies also works wonderfully on the BIG SCREEN provided you have a Application that’s compatible with it, but nonetheless, just plug and play and away you go. Definitely worth the price.

This is an excellent low cost CD/DVD drive that works at superspeed with USB 3 devices. I have used it with Windows 10, Linux (Ubuntu 20.10 Groovy Gorilla), and Chrome OS (v83 – reading only). It reads and writes DVDs and CDs with no problems, at a good speed. It is very portable, not requiring a power supply and having a dual USB A and C connecting lead which slots away into the base when not in use. Thoroughly recommended.

Great complime
I used it on my windows 10and it works perfectly. I downloaded an app on my tablet called “Ultra DVD Player” that is completely free so the DVD’s can play. It works great.
For the price I paid I think it is a pretty good buy. I’m a fan of simple design and functionality and that’s what it gave me. It did not have any issues using it. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase!
Nice DVD drive
I used this DVD drive as soon as I recieved it and it worked as described.It works well!
The drive does work well, the only issue being that it needs two USB connections, one for power and one for data. Using a new MacBook pro, you need to have a USB to thunderbolt connector in order for this to work as the one supplied just doesn’t work. You can plug the power USB into a phone charger plug or such like, but the cable isn’t very long, so it can be quite awkward. Probably best if you’re buying this to also get two USB to thunderbolt connectors.

I’m very happy with this external drive as my laptop did not come with one, and I had been using an older laptop to transfer from CD to USB Storage when necessary.

I thought this ZdVD Biu ray WR was going to be standard. I was wrong! It’s smart and light also works well I. haven’t tried to burn a disk yet or save to disk yet, but so far I really like it.
Large collection of photos assembled and archived without problems
I bought it in order to back up lots of photos on MDisc. Using Imgburn, this went veryt smoothly first time.
I love the design and having the use of c port or usb.I got this for backing up my DVD collection. I have it plugged into a powered USB hub. I am happy that it works on windows as well that’s very helpful to me as my built in player on desktop is not working.It is really esay to use, just plug in and it plays for u. No setup needed.
This drive worked right out of the box. Its lightweight, yet solidly built and my laptop had no problems recognizing it and getting straight to work. This is a nice compact unit for the money. It arrived in excellent condition and works well. I only wish it had an auto start feature, where the disc automatically started playing when you inserted it into the player.Operates in every situation I have tried to use it in.

Works perfectly with my think pad running windows 10. I was finally able to move my collection of CD’s to my laptop.
Now that DVD / Blu Ray burners are not widely available on computers, this is a really nice external addition. Its plug and play feature had it up and running immediately. All I needed was my own player / burner software.

Honestly this is the easiest set up you can ever ask for. All you do is plug it into the USB port of your computer and it plays. It’s so compact and portable. This came in handy when I played movies in my class!
