The cameras were easy enough to install & & set up with my phone & Alexa Ultra HD is great but perhaps a bit over the top in daylight. The HD is in my opinion good enough to suit most needs. The sounds surrounding the area being protected are very clear. The speaker & alarm works well
WOW Amazing value
Remember this is made by Hikvision, so you will have a very high quality camera. motion detection is good, its very sensitive. other than that all good, so easy to set up.
First Security Camera
This review is mainly about the set up of the camera. I was impressed with ease of set up of this, only thing I had to ‘google’ was getting my Alexa shows to see the picture from the camera. You have to turn of ‘Image Encryption’ in the settings of the EZVIZ app. I have installed the Micro SD card to save monthly fees. Loved the little touch of the ‘template sticker’ to help you drill the holes for the camera. This is my first security camera and I am impressed, need to save up for the doorbell now.

Really impressed with the quality of the camera for the price. Bought 2 – one for the front and one for the back. My only criticism is the length of lead supplied. We had to buy an extension cable for both cameras.

Downside is I don’t get notifications when it picks something up.. could be a blessing because it does pick up so much but I’ve missed some things that I could have done with seeing ie missed deliveries when I haven’t heard the door.

All round strong performer.
Excellent addition to some older EZVIZ cameras already installed. App easy to use. If using the motion sensor notification setting you’ll definitely need to custom the sensitivity: it’s super sensitive which is a credit to the camera/app but a tree is moving in the wind it can cause multiple false alarms without adjusting the sensitivity.

Good but could be better if features worked correctly, wouldn't have another.
Motion detection is very poor. Alerts all the time even when not in the selected area. Night vision is clear from a distance but you’ve no chance of identifying anyone. Picture quality and setup overall average.
Great quality for a good price.
The picture quality is very good. Very easy to set up but make sure you set the camera up first beside your WiFi not when the camera is up otherwise you will have to take it down and do it from scratch again. The infrared is good and the sound quality is very good. The app is very straightforward and you can review your recordings. You can set the camera say if you’re going out and it will notify you of any movement mine are usually of my cat but you can set zones through the app. All and all I am very pleased with this product. I ended up getting four of them, I had put power into my attic but get an electrician to help you if you need help.
Very Easy to set up.
Set up was fairly easy to do on my own and took less than 20 minutes all in. The app did take a little getting used to but so does everything at first. The day mode captures details well and the night mode is equally great considering the limited light.
Motion detection too sensitive.
Very well built and Easy to install, setting up the App is also easy. Image quality is very good, nice and clear and audio on videos is clear.(Both day and Night). My only gripe with this camera is the motion detection, while it’s very good at detecting movement, its also where it let’s itself down as it detects every thing from people to bugs, rain, snow the lot, I’ve had to turn the alert notifications off as my phone is constantly going bleeping. Also the power cable from the back of camera is quite short, so an power cable extension maybe needed.
Fantastic clarity
UPDATE: I was struggling to link with my firestick and Echo show. Kept getting the “camera is in sleep mode” failure. To get this to work go on the camera settings and turn off image encryption, then it works like a charm!
Having read lots of reviews and watched most of YouTube I went for this camera. I do not need a camera for motion detection as I already have a ring system for that. So the over enthusiastic notifications about movement I just turned off. I was looking for a HD camera that would record 24/7 and this is perfect for that. Loads instantly whereas the ring sometimes won’t load at all!
first unit was faulty, replacement works fine needs strong Wi-Fi
After receiving a faulty unit first time, amazon refunded payment and i ordered another. This one is fine. You need strong Wi-Fi for consistent picture and connection. Bought Wi-Fi extender from Amazon and appears to be working fine now

Great camera with good reception direct from the router.
My only real negative is that the leads from the back of the camera are too short and don’t pass through the exterior and interior brickwork to be able to plug in the mains easily.
Good camera if always recording
Good camera quality and perfect when on always recording, I had it on motion detection at first but it never recorded the moment someone stole the mirror off my car.

i brought 2 other makes of camera and sent them both back due to poor detection ,,,,these are better by far,,i brought 2 one for the back garden one for the front, if anything they are too sensitive especially when it rains , be fun when it snows ,,,,but if that means they detect everything then i`m happy,,, i put them on away from home mode and get notifications when they are set off but you can watch it back at different speeds so if you notice anything you can then stop it and watch in normal playback mode,, the night view around the back is not the best as its very dark but around the front is good with it being lighter,, if and when you do see something when you play it back you can zoom in and that is really good,,i have had the camera`s a month now and i`m very happy ,, i would recommend no problem

Not bad, firmware could be improved
Good picture quality, easy setup, nice wide angle of camera view. The negative, are too many motion detection false positives for sudden change of daylight (sunny/cloudy). Even with lowest sensitivity. Can this be fixed with new firmware?
Also not able to view image using Google home, even if claimed it can be connected. It can, but no imagery will come through.

Has been used many times to identify trespassers on my property. I wouldn’t be without these. I use the audio to disperse gatherings which is very effective ! Just remember to purchase signs saying video & audio recording in place.

Bought these after reading the reviews and have not been disappointed.
Simple to set up if you have some electrical skills. Easy to use and very good quality picture.
You can access the app from multiple devices so memebers of the family can always check in when away from the house to keep an eye out !
I also bought the SD card to record onto but not need if you subscribe to the cloud.

Some mentioned the size of the plugs being bulky yes the lan plug does require a big hold if you run it though the wall as the other end is hard wireed to camera plud the Lead is short to pass though 2 walls and cavity. I have got round this by mounting a small IP66 box, all the cablesgo inside this and the small powerlead passing tbrough the wall. B&Q 7.00 job done.

Excellent product, really easy to install and set up! Highly recommend
Easy to install, luckily I only had to drill for the 3 holes to mount the camera as the power lead fitter through the air vent into the house. I cut the Ethernet cable off as I wouldn’t be using it and it wouldn’t fit through the hole. Excellent set up via the app, connected the WiFi quickly and easily. I love the option of “At home” and “Leaving home” meaning the setting automatically change when you leave the house (motion sensitivity steps up a gear). Siren is also a great feature, I wouldn’t use it because the camera is at the front of the house but excellent option for when we’re away from the house. Overall EXCELLENT product!

Super product. Only problem though is the sensitivity. Even at the lowest setting it beeps and records every time a fly passes. I now turn the volume of my phone down at night so the notification does not disturb my sleep.

I bought this rather than a video doorbell as it has a better coverage of the front of the house. I can still talk to people over the camera although I have not had the opportunity to try that out yet on other people.
Relatively easy to set up but does need a good Wifi signal. I ended up plugging in a range extender to enable live view as the app said the camera was off line. Fortunately I had one to hand.
I am still experimenting with the sensitivity of the motion detection which is a bit too sensitive. I have been gradually reducing sensitivity as it was being set off by moths and the shadows of birds flying overhead as well as switching on a light in the entrance overnight. Last night it was set off by the rain. Fortunately I use do not disturb on my phone overnight. You can also switch off movement detection on a schedule. Hence only 4 stars.
The quality of the picture and coverage angle is excellent. Night vision is monochrome but also good.
I have switched off auto install firmware updates as after the first update on installation I had to reset the camera and reinstall it on the app.
Overall a good piece of kit so far. that I do not regret buying I cannot comment on long term reliability yet.

This was the third EZVIZ camera I purchased. Really easy to set up, good quality feel to them too.
Images are crisp, may struggle for an ID capable image more than 10m but better than most at this price point.
Added the action cam on as part of an offer which dropped the combined price to over 20 less than just the cctv one! Great deal.
Parent company is HK vision which is a huge name in the CCTV world.

1) Much Less likely to offer a home to spiders than bullet cameras with a Sunshield. Important if you plan to install the camera outdoor.
2) Loading of the Android and Apple Apps is fast…. I was most pleasantly surprised. Compared with my REOLINK camera its lightning fast. I have 17 cams here so am able to offer a reasonably accurate idea. EZVIS CLAIMS that their Cloudservers are EUROPE BASED.
3) App works flawlessly.
4) Docs say that the camera supports 256 micro SDXC card. I run a SANDISK 128 card and can confirm that it works fine. As 256 cards are expensive I have not tried this.
5) Picture quality is good and night IR picture quality is reasonably good too.
NEGATIVE POINTS.
Only two sofar. This camera will NOT work with Synology Surveillance Station or Blue Iris or the like.
Would have been nice to be able to POE support it.
CONCLUSION?
Am impressed and that takes some doing. So much so I bought a second one. Most appealing is that the app (and thus the displayed Picture) loads so dammed fast), even though I might be 100 miles away from the camera.

I set this camera up in my garage for reasons I will not go into too much depth other than to say my mistrust in my new electric roller garage doors was unfounded. I had set up a WiFi mesh in my home for a previously purchased/cheaper camera to no avail. I have a detached garage and although close to the house the contraction was intermittent at best. Having read several positive reviews I took the plunge and purchased this camera from Amazon and have not been disappointed. The camera is very easy to set up as the app is easy to use, the push notifications work very well to a mobile phone where ever you happen to be, quality of display is more than adequate for what I need. I have just put a 125GB sim into the camera so will eventually have hours of filming my closed garage doors. For me and what I need the camera is a fantastic purchase.

I use these for outdoors amazing day time colour pictures you can control the camera alarm function so it just warns you someone is close to scaring that person away great night vision quality and sound is great.

Brilliant picture
Brilliant picture quality day and night. The only down side is on motion detection is when it’s raining it tends to trigger notifications even though the camera is under the eaves of the garage. Whether the motion detection can be desensitized I’m not sure.

A really good camera with clear images. Recommend the additional sd card to record images instead of signing up to pay the monthly subs for cloud recording.
A good reliable camera
This is a decent little camera. You can adjust sensitivity to movement and change the area of reaction as well. It’s very sensitive so I do get quite a few notifications daily but I live very close to a main road. maybe others can help me with a solution as I’m struggling still to solve this. But it’s much less after playing a few times, from when it was first set up which was an unbelievable amount of notifications in a day.
You can also set active times for notifications.

CCTV Camera's
Easy to set up lovely clear picture great price on deal of the day
So have been doing some research with regards to CCTV cameras to replace a system I already had in place. The Ezviz ticked all the boxes, it is not too pricey, has good feature good image quality, an optional light and sound alarm (doesn’t really scares cats), a decent zoom capability and a very well supported app. To bring up the camera footage on the app it is really quick compared to my previous app, the image is clear and the features are good. It also offers two ways of footage storage, with SD card (an 128GB will store about 2 weeks of continuous recording) and still has the option for the cloud storage, a bit pricey in my opinion, but worth it to store the alerts in case the worst happens.
The alarm notification is spot on and offer a good preview of what triggered the alarm so that you can chose to playback the footage or not.
The camera set up has been really easy via the mobile app.
The only minor issue is the integration with Google home hub, the set up is not difficult, once the camera is added to the Ezviz app you just need to add the device via the Google home app, by allowing Ezviz app to be linked, note that if you add more cameras you will have to unlink and re link to the Google app, the issue I was mentioning is related to the stream on the hub, to note there is a 15 seconds delay from what you see on the screen to what you will see on your hub, so it is not live live, the other issue is that the camera does not always how first time and a black screen is displayed, with that in mind this is still a much better option than a Nest Cam, mush more expensive and with only a storage solution available. An advice for Google Home Hub connection is to have the Audio on the camera set to on, the video encryption switched off and I’ve noticed that on my router having the AP mode turned off allowed for the stream on the Hub to be more consistent.
In all I would recommend this product and I hope it will serve me for a few years to come.

The Ezviz ticked all the boxes, it is not too pricey, has good feature good image quality, an optional light and sound alarm (doesn’t really scares cats), a decent zoom capability and a very well supported app. To bring up the camera footage on the app it is really quick compared to my previous app, the image is clear and the features are good. It also offers two ways of footage storage, with SD card (an 128GB will store about 2 weeks of continuous recording) and still has the option for the cloud storage, a bit pricey in my opinion, but worth it to store the alerts in case the worst happens.
The alarm notification is spot on and offer a good preview of what triggered the alarm so that you can chose to playback the footage or not.
The camera set up has been really easy via the mobile app.
The only minor issue is the integration with Google home hub, the set up is not difficult, once the camera is added to the Ezviz app you just need to add the device via the Google home app, by allowing Ezviz app to be linked, note that if you add more cameras you will have to unlink and re link to the Google app, the issue I was mentioning is related to the stream on the hub, to note there is a 15 seconds delay from what you see on the screen to what you will see on your hub, so it is not live live, the other issue is that the camera does not always how first time and a black screen is displayed, with that in mind this is still a much better option than a Nest Cam, mush more expensive and with only a storage solution available. An advice for Google Home Hub connection is to have the Audio on the camera set to on, the video encryption switched off and I’ve noticed that on my router having the AP mode turned off allowed for the stream on the Hub to be more consistent.
In all I would recommend this product and I hope it will serve me for a few years to come.

A reliable camera
I have installed it for more than 3 months now and it has never been disconnected from the wi -fi network. The motion detection needs some tuning based on the individual circumstances but once this is done you can minimise false alarms.
This is a great camera and really good value. It’s easy to set up and install, though you need to put it somewhere sheltered, or the view will quickly get messed up by rain and deposits – there is no “hood” over the lens . However, be wary of the claims that it integrates with Google/Nest Home – it does, but only to some extent.So, you can turn it on and off from Home/Nest (e.g. by voice commands) once it is linked, but it won’t stream a picture to Google displays. To see the picture you have to use the EZVIZ app (on your phone). If you want a camera that WILL display on your Google Hub screen, go to Google’s web pages and see exactly which 3rd party cameras stream through. At the moment, in the UK, EZVIZ does not. I’m not sure what it’s like with Amazon Show screens, I don’t have Amazon devices.

hey way you can set this camera to guard your property is awesome.
You can set the camera to look only on the area where no one at the time you schedule supposed to be and if someone is there the camera notifies you and also the intruder very loudly. The perfect product to provide secure night as the picture quality is one the top for the 1080p resolution.

Setup quite complicated at first, booklet a bit misleading due to interpretation. Still trying to workout how to mail pics, if needed!!!
The camera was easy to set up and works fine with clear pictures and a very active motion alert.
The most difficult aspect was using the App. There are a lot of things that are not clear in order to get the camera to carry our all functions. The Tech Support however are very good at responding and helping to make this fully work. The App requires more work to make it easier to operate.

Looks and feels classy. Mount bracket and adjustment collar, cast alloy. The whole thing has a nice weight to it and it looks like a sci-fi movie extra. Setup was easy, infact auto setup was happening faster than i could keep up. Wifi pairing was ace. App is good, easy. Just not found yet if there is a way to “blank” bits of the viewing area to stop unwanted movement triggers.
I’m happy enough to buy a second.
Easy setup and installatio
Quick delivery, easy to setup – within 15 minutes had the app up and running and camera setup. Installation was straight forward, took less than an hour. Excellent night vision so can see the comings and goings during the twilight hours.
Easy to change the setup and notifications using the intuitive app. I now have two cameras setup which I can monitor simultaneously or individually.

I have numerous outdoor cameras, but these EZVIZ ones are one of the best. With its alarm two way audio and strobe lighting they work exceptionally.
Setting up – simple and easy, they come with cloud play or you can insert a microsd card for storage. For tech savvy people these cameras support RTSP (which took a lot of googling to find out) which means you can view the stream on the computer or use a NAS such as synology to record the stream.
The stream URL is below, with X.X.X.X corresponding to your internal camera IP address. And the verification code is on Bottom side of the camera with the serial number and QR code.

Camera – there is only one stream at 1080p 15fps with a bitrate of 2000kbps which is a lot for your home WiFi system you handle if you have multiple cameras. Over time the bitrate will fall and reach around 500kbps as it is variable, so don’t worry if in the beginning connection is funny.
Fixing to wall – simple easy, they provide template and screws, the main power cable is waterproof (has been raining and no issues) the Ethernet cable has a waterproof housing for those who want to hardwire.
App – App connectivity is great, everything works well, however the motion detection is sensitive, i recommend level 1 or 2 (from 0-6) as rain will set it off and constantly ping.
Problems – None yet, connection over WiFi is smooth and there is no buffering (~3 seconds at most) when using the EZVIZ app to view the cameras when you are away from home. But there notification scheduling needs a little work, they should incorporate geofencing as well as multiple time notification scheduling on the same day. Word of advice to people, WiFi connection is great BUT NOTHING beats hardwiring the camera using Ethernet cables to your router directly or via a network switch. If you have the option to hardwire, ALWAYS do this.

A great camera from a great company
The brand behind ezviz is a well established company. The build quality and indeed install process and day to day ability has been great. There is a few bugs that ive spotted in the android sw app. I loved the cloud based storage solution but not so the price, it was ok say for 1 camera but 2 or more becomes affordable. I opted instead for the memory cards.

Really good camera. Works well a night i bought it to keep eye on my work van. It also allows me to keep an eye on kids turning the day. Good value for money. I have 3 camera 2 outside and 1 in.

Good camera for the price. 1080p claims are on the ambitious side. Easy enough set up and user friendly with echo spot and firestick systems. Turn off image encryption via settings if images not displayed on echo spot/show/fire device.

This camera arrived promptly and was very easy to set up along with the downloading of the app.
It did not have a long enough lead and whist the camera is white the lead was black. We had to got an extension to wire outside and be able to plug in however EZVIZ customer services did help with this when contacted directly.
After 2 weeks in we had an issue with the SD card as it kept saying no card this was resolved by reformatting. Again customer services responded promptly. They did advise To use a PC to download some software ! And offered to replace the camera. However it’s working well now.

I fitted the camera with a 128Gb SD Card to record on, rather than use the optional cloud storage service and the camera records / plays back to remote devices really well. Clarity is Hi-Def, it has a really wide field of view and the night vision is good. You can control the camera features from a tablet / smartphone which allows you to view the live feed, play back recordings, set up motion detection areas and alerts from wherever you are, and you can also use the camera as a two way communicator as it has a built in mic and speaker (use the MIC button in the app). There’s a motion detection activated strobe light / siren feature that you can enable if you wish, or activate as a panic alarm via the app. In summary, once you get used to the app interface, this is a very good device for the price.

This Camera is excellent for building on your CCTV system, with its night vision, motion alerts, siren and led light alarm it’ll deter intruders anytime. Handy 2 way communication to speak to callers. Great picture quality night and day. Integrate it with your smart home for some cool automations using google/Alexa/IFTTT. So much so I bought a second camera and will buy more.

Bought this security camera to replace an amcrest one which packed up after 2 years. It’s very easy to set up through WiFi. The picture quality is great and the sound is quite good as well. The app is good once you get used to it and the data can be saved to micro sd card or cloud storage or both. The cloud storage cost 4.99 a month for 7 day loop recording, which is cheaper than a lot of others out there. All in all a very good camera for the price.

The camera comes with 2 wifi 2.4ghz antenna so this runs on the low spectrum so wont interfere with newer 5ghz items at work. The camera can be connected via ethernet. The camera comes with all the screws and clips you would setup and drilled into the wall. The camera took around a few minutes to connect to its app than on google home and Alexa it was just few touches before all was linked. This also records onto tf card tried a 64gb card and works well. The app allows recording to phone too!

Great camera, I have the indoor version but the outdoor version is just great, comes with audible alarm and the nighvision is really clear, connected to router with no issues and stays connected, we’ve had some bad rain in the uk recently and it’s held up through it all, cannot fault, EZVIZ won’t let u down!

This is the 3rd one of these cameras I have purchased and I am delighted with it! Crystal clear images and setup and playback via my EZVIZ NVR are very easy to use. I use the two way communication function to speak to visitors which is handy.
Will definitely add more from this supplier to complete my system.

The day time picture quality is excellent and the activation notification to my mobile takes about 4 or 5 seconds – very impressive. Due to the mounting position the onboard IR light is reflecting off of the house wall and seems to be limiting its detection ability at night. I think this would not be an issue if it were pointing away from the wall as opposed to along the wall. I have today ordered an independent IR light to provide additional IR coverage to the area. I will update when installed and tested. My initial thoughts are that this was a very good purchase and the next time some idiot comes to try and break into our garage I will be able to provide the police with a clear picture of them. By the way – One of the first questions asked by the police after reporting? You guessed it “Do you have CCTV”. Well I do now..!!!

This is the second one I have bought after being so impressed with the picture quality and the reliability. I use it in conjunction with my Alexa Show , Fire TV, and Mobile allowing me to monitor house back and front. I have also subscribed to Cloud storage allowing me to check back on triggered incidents.
I purchased this camera after my last one sadly broke and i must say i am very impressed with my upgrade. Set up was fairly easy to do on my own and took less than 20 minutes all in. The app did take a little getting used to but so does everything at first. The day mode captures details well and the night mode is equally great considering the limited light. The best part for me is the alerts from the motion censors when someone / something triggers the area covered but this can become a little annoying when its just cars passing or a cat that likes to stroll past but is great when i am away from home so i have peace of mind that everything is safe and well. I have added my own memory card without any issues and the camera is waterproof which was tested by some not so lovely rain . Would highly recommend this as one of the best cameras i have ever purchased.
