This is my second Felco pruner and I was hoping it would be like my F-6 which is also meant for smaller hands but the F-12 is slightly bigger so not easy to grab both handles in one hand and start cutting. The swivelling handle also takes some getting used to but the quality is the same as always and the sharp edge makes it a pleasure to use.
Nachdem ich in vielen Garten-Jahrzehnten diverse Scheren im Preissegment zwischen 3.- und 50.- (darunter auch “Markenware”) ausprobiert habe, habe ich jetzt endlich gefunden was ich gesucht habe.

Ich habe die Schere nun schon einige Stunden in Verwendung und kann nur positives berichten. Die Schnittstellen sind schn, es gibt kaum Quetschungen der Rinde. Nur fr dicke ste ist diese Schere eher nicht gedacht. Da braucht es eine etwas grere Schere.
Der Rollgriff macht mir keine Probleme. Ich finde es nur schade, dass diese Schere kein Bndchen hat mit dem man die Schere am Handgelenk anhngen kann. Gerade wenn man viel Baumschnitt in greren Hhen betreibt, wre das ganz praktisch um die Schere vor Abstrzen zu sichern.
Sehr scharf – klasse Qualitt – hlt ewig und alle Teile sind austauschbar. Schere liegt gut in der Hand. Passend fr mittlere Handgre. Super schnelle Lieferung. So muss es sein.

Die Rebschere liegt sehr gut in der Hand und ist nicht zu schwer. Der Drehgriff schont das Handgelenk und war fr mich von Anfang an sehr angenehm.
Kann die Rebschere nur weiterempfehlen; so macht der Winterschnitt im Rebberg spass!
I bought these for my wife who has several pruners that require less effort to use but ended up being awkward to use. I did pay more for these but Wow what an improvement. They are the only ones she now will use, however I do have the choice of all the rest.
Wie fast alle Scheren von Felco liegt sie gut in der Hand, insbesondere bei mittelgroen Hnden. Die Hebelverhltnisse sind gut austariert, so dass auch bei geringerem Krafteinsatz das Ergebnis zufriedenstellend ist.

These are top notch secateurs, fully serviceable with all spare parts available. They are good quality and the rotating handle eases the pain on your hands if you are doing a lot of pruning. Certainly got me in my mothers good books when I bought her a pair for her birthday.

An excellent pair of secateurs, they are light and very sharp. The swivel handle takes a lot of the strain normally associated with repetitive use. As expected from a reputable company these are well engineered and a joy to use. Although more expensive than some they are well worth investing in if like me you are in the garden much of the week.

These are excellent secateurs, I have slight rheumatism in my hand but have no trouble pruning with these secateurs. This is my second pair, they last forever and you can buy spare parts for them which is great until someone borrows them….. Hence the latest purchase.

Hab mich von den anderen Meinungen beeindrucken lassen und es stimmt – die Umstellung auf den drehenden Griff dauert keine 5 Schnitte und dann ist es nur noch angenehm, dass der Griff “mitgeht” mit der Bewegung. Keine Druckstellen mehr und jetzt freu ich mich sogar auf die verblhten Rosen denn das Schneiden wird zum Kinderspiel………
Super Felco Schere habe fast alle Felco Scheren da ich sie beruflich brauche aber keine ist so angenehm beim Schneiden wie diese bei der Arbeit auch bei meinen kleinen Hnde.
Die gewohnte Felco-Qualitt, aber die Griffweite ist mir viel zu gro, fr meine Frau vllig unbrauchbar.

Die ebenfalls als M angesiedelte Felco 6 ist deutlich angenehmer im Handling. Insbesondere weil die 12-er den drehbaren Griff hat ist uns die Griffweite zu gro. Ich wrde sie nur fr wirklich groe und sehr groe Hnde empfehlen wenn man sie wirklich als 1-Handschere im Dauergebrauch einsetzen will.

Wie immer ist zu erwhnen, dass man die Schere in alle Einzelteile zerlegen kann und einzelne Teile entsprechend austauschen kann.
Hierdurch relativiert sich m.E. der hohe Anschaffungspreis in den folgenden Jahren.
Der drehende Griff der Felco Nr. 12 ist gewhnungsbedrftig, ich habe mich allerdings schnell daran gewhnt.
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die doch sehr geringe gre des Messers. Dickere ste stellen hier ein Problem dar, daher ein Stern abzug.
Hier greift man zwar etwas tiefer in die Tasche, aber es lohnt sich.
Einmal gekauft knnen diese Scheren immer nachgeschliffen werden und mssen nicht, wie die anderen etwas billigeren Produkte,
nach einer Saison ausgetauscht werden.

Die Felco 12 ist bei mir im Blumengeschft tglich im Einsatz. Durch das Drehelement wird der Kraftaufwand mininiert und die Hand wird entlastet. Bei mir im Betrieb gibt es nichts anderes mehr als die Felco 12.

I will devise some kind of loop to restrict this. Of course it will restrict the jaw opening too but not enough, I think to be material.

Nachdem wir diverse Gartenscheren (Wolf etc) bereits verbraucht haben, sind wir bei unseren Recherchen auf diese Felco gestoen.
Es stimmt: Im Gebrauch anfangs gewhnungsbedrftig, aber dann hat man echt Spa dabei. Es gibt keine Schwielen mehr, selbst nach mehrstndiger Arbeit. Sie ist leichtgngig und exakt. Meiner Meinung nach jedem Grtner zu empfehlen.
I was given a pair of these Felco clippers years ago and enjoyed them VERY much. And then I lost them and tried several other, cheaper pairs of clippers. I was so disappointed in all the others, I gave in and ordered myself another pair of Felco. They hold up much longer than the cheaper brands. I cherish them so much I’m now keeping them inside my house in the air conditioning rather than outside with my other gardening gear.

Dann stie ich bei der Suche nach einer neuen Gartenschere zufllig auf die Felco 2. Was in den Rezensionen geschrieben steht, lie mich das Programm von Felco anschauen. Dabei bemerkte ich dann auch, dass es Gartenscheren fr verschiedene Handgren gibt. Fr meine eher mittelgroen Hnde war die Felco 2 nicht gedacht, also schaute ich weiter und landete bei der Felco 12. Diese ist nicht nur fr mittelgroe Hnde konzipiert, sondern verfgt auch ber einen sehr durchdachten Rollgriff: beim Zusammendrcken einer normalen Gartenschere rutschen die Finger ber einen starren Griff. Hat man eher “Brohnde”, kann das zu empfindlicher Haut oder gar Blasen fhren. Die Felco 12 hat dafr einen Rollgriff, der die Bewegung der Finger am Griff mitmacht und diese so schont.
Zustzlich gibt es fr diese Schere jedes Teil auch einzeln als Ersatzteil zu kaufen. Da ich wei, dass ich wenigstens die nchsten 30 Jahre mit einer hantieren werde, ist das auch ein nettes Detail.
Aufgrund der vielen guten Rezensionen bei amazon und wegen eben dieser kleinen (aber feinen) Deatils entschloss ich mich zum Kauf.
Als die Gartenschere bei mir ankam, fiel mir zuerst die Verarbeitung positiv auf: keine Grate, alles sauber und passgenau verarbeitet und die gewhlten Materialien sind auch angemessen. Dass man den Sicherungsmechanismus der Klinge nachjustieren kann, war dann das nchste positive Erlebnis.
Und dann ging es auch gleich immer positiv weiter: die Schere gleitet durch ste wie ein warmes Messer durch warme Butter und der Rollgriff ist – wenn man sich kurz daran gewhnt hat – wirklich praktisch. Die schlanke Form der beiden Klingen ermglicht es, dass man auch an schwer zugngliche Stellen im Gest kommt – ohne andere ste dabei zu beschdigen.
Mein Fazit: wer mittelgroe Hnde und Freude an Gartenarbeit hat, dauerhaft fter mal Bume, Bsche oder Strucher ausschneidet und dabei auch gerne mit hochwertigem und durchdachtem Werkzeug arbeitet, der ist mit der Felco 12 wirklich bestens bedient.
Der Preis ist natrlich nicht gerade klein, aber aus Erfahrung wei ich, dass man fr gute Qualitt auch gutes Geld bezahlen muss. Ich habe auf jeden Fall gerne die etwas ber 40 investiert und meiner Schwiegermutter sogar auch noch eine Felco 12 geschenkt.
Ich suchte eine Gartenschere, die ich insbesondere zum Rosenschneiden verwenden kann. Nach Einigem Rechergieren bin ich auf die Felco gestoen und bin froh, dass ich mir sie “geleistet” habe. Leicht, handlich, superglattes Schnittbild. Ich habe sie tglich im Einsatz – fr fast alle Schnittarbeiten – und es macht einfach Riesenfreude – Die Felco kann ich wirklich empfehlen. .
Was mich u. a. zum Kauf bewogen hat ist, dass man alle Ersatzteile einzeln bekommen und austauschen kann – vom Schleifen gar nicht zu reden. Auf der homepage von Felco wird auerdem das Handling und die Pflege ausfhrlich erklrt – so sollte dieses Werkzeug eine Anschaffung fr’s Leben sein.

They are worth every penny – and the price here is lower than at my local nursery.

Arrived as promised. These are the very best pruners I have ever purchased. They are well made and comfortable to use. I wish I could afford to buy several more pairs! I usually have to buy new pruners every year because they break by the end of the season, not these!

Habe die Schere seit 14 Tagen im Einsatz. Nutze sie im Garten zum Schneiden der Bsche, Obstgehlze etc.
Wenn man sich an den Rollgriff gewhnt hat ist es ein sehr angenehmes Schneidegefhl. Schneideleistung und Verarbeitung ber jeden Zweifel erhaben.
Auch ltere verhrtete Zweige und Seitentriebe kann man problemlos schneiden. Da tun sich billige Scheren manchmal schwer. Und wenn ich doch mal eine andere benutze wechsele ich gerne wieder zurck.
Ist etwas teurer aber seinen Preis auf alle Flle wert.
No finer secateur is available. I’ve always used Felco strong reliable can’t be beaten. I damaged my right wrist a while back and thought I’d try the rotating handle version. They take a little getting used to but now they are just fine and fusion the wrist brilliantly.

Speedy delivery. Present bought for colleague starting a career in gardening. When comparing to non-rotating handles, the rotating handles seemed to suit smaller hands and reduce the effort needed.

Fr die tgliche Arbeit in Grtnerei und auf der Baustelle einfach unerlsslich. Vom Aufschneiden von Erdscken bis hin zum schneiden von Draht und natrlich dem schneiden von sten deckt sie das gesamte Anforderungsspektrum ab. Dabei ist gerade bei vielen Schneidarbeiten der Rollgriff einfach genial um schnell und schonend die Arbeit zu erledigen.

Die Gartenschere war ein Geschenk fr meinen Mann. Er hatte schon verschiedene Modelle ausprobiert, wollte jedoch unbedingt wieder diesen Typ Schere, der sich frher schon bewhrt hatte. Er hat sich sehr darber gefreut und ist vollauf zufrieden.

I love the way the handle swivels to save blisters when tackling heavy work. They are small enough to be accommodated in a woman’s hand. My husband finds them too small for him, but then I bought them for me and he can use the larger Felco secateurs he owns.
This time I decided to try the one that has a rotating grip so that you don’t get calluses. It was wierd at first but it didn’t take long to adjust to it.
I highly recommend the Felco pruners. I like that you can replace the parts too. Go buy a pair.

bekommt man allerdings nicht in jedem Fachgeschft, deswegen der Kauf bei Amazon. Nochmal zur Schere: saubere Schnitte, leichte und handliche Schere, Profiwerkzeug.
Ich benutze diese Schere im Weinbau zum Reben schneiden. Meine Hnde sind mittelgro, sie liegt gut in der Hand, allerdings finde ich die Klingen etwas klein. Man kann nichts so dickes Holz durchschneiden wie mit der Felco 7 glaube ich. Bzw. man muss halt mehrmals schneiden, dann geht auch das durch. Ansonsten ist sie sehr scharf und scheint robust. Bis jetzt ein guter Kauf.
This pruner is great for pruning roses in particular. It is small but powerful, and great if your planning to hand prune for a while b/c the handle twists with your hand minimizing the stress. I’m glad I don’t have to carry around bulky heavy pruners anymore to do small to medium pruning.

…wirklich zu empfehlen. der drehbare griff machte mich zunchst etwas skeptisch, aber nach 28 sekunden hatte ich mich bereits daran gewhnt. kleine dinge eben, die das leben leichter machen. der preis, naja… ist dennoch gerechtfertigt, wenn man bedenkt das man ein nahezu unkaputtbares werkzeug in den hnden hat und wirklich alle teile auswechselbar sind!
die griffbeschichtung ist ein haptisches erlebnis. glatt und dennoch nicht rutschig, eben griffig. und die schneiden sind schnittig! alle angepeilten ste habe ich mhelos durch bekommen. ich werde jetzt das ding jetzt erst mal eine weile zur seite legen, sonst droht kahlschlag im garten.
Da ich mir mal eine hochwertige Gartenschere zulegen wollte, schaute ich mich erstmal im Baumarkt um und testete etliche Scheren, die bei Verwandten und Bekannten im Einsatz sind. Keine der von mir getesteten Scheren liegt so gut in der Hand und schneidet so prziese und leicht, wie die Schere von Felko.
