Delivered promptly as promised. Easy to unpack and set up. Great improvement on my old Flymo. Used once so far and was pleased with its performance on my small lawn.
No frills but work well
Used these for the whole of last spring, summer and autumn. They work well and are durable. Great value package.
Bought this for sloping bank. This made the whole job a lot easier my husband tells me!
Another cost effective appliance, gers the job done and very light to use.
We needed a light weight, easy to use mower for our small(ish) inner city garden. This does the job perfectly. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that it doesn’t collect the cut grass and I have to sweep up the discarded grass blades afterwards from our patio area. Not that a big problem – it just would be nicer to have the grass collect on the mower; but then it wouldn’t be so small and lightweight I suppose! Overall, I’m very pleased.
Looking to replace a hover mower model 30 years old and discontinued. This was nearest
Easy to put together and to use. Good power and useful for what I wanted
Ideal for small gardens
I use this for the from garden. It is perfect for a small lawn but bear in mind there is no grass collection box. It is quite robust but very manouevrable
As I only have a small garden o didnt need anything too big. I managed to assemble and change the setting of the blade for a shorter cut. Well worth the money
I wish I’d bought this years ago. I’ve been struggling with a push lawn mower for years because I didn’t think it was worth buying a new electric model for my teeny weeny patch of lawn. Now I’m a bit older I want the ease and convenience. It was a while before I remembered Flymo – the others I’d looked at had a huge grass box on the back making it impractical for my space. I put it together really easily but the blade is on so tightly that I cannot add the spacers to reduce the height of the cut. Not a bad thing, I’m sure, it’s not going to come flying off but I’ll have to find a gentleman friend to loosen it for me.
Great value. Extremely good for smaller gardens. Easy to use
Lighter, smaller than the predecessor, Ideal for smaller lawns as there are no wheels! -nor boxes that fill up with cuttings!
Gives a good cut albeit rather and narrow. Has 3 height settings but you have to use a spacer and a spanner [supplied] to do it. One criticism is it doesnt have a hook to hang it up to a wall or rafter and is difficult to do as the on/off lever occupies the whole width of the frame
manouverable with one hand
easy to put together – a bit noisy but works ok on dry grass
I watched a youtube video from Flymo “How to assemble the handles on the Flymo Turbo Lite 330 & Turbo 400” ( different models? But looked exactly the same, same parts handles etc) found it easy to do, also, if anyone else is unsure there are 3 spacers that can be added under the blade- 3 added spacers will give the shortest cut, 2 less short etc, it was easy to remove the blade with the tool provided and add the 3 spacers. I have a small lawn back and front and the flymo suits me, lawn isn’t perfect to begin with, but it looks a lot neater when I cut the grass with this mower – you can register ( free) 2 year guarantee on the flymo website, hoping it will last a lot longer than that though.
This is the second flymo we have brought does the job very well.
Excellent for the price
Some of the negative reviews for this mower are a bit baffling, and I think they come mainly from people who are desperate to be disappointed. I got this from the Amazon Warehouse, fully boxed with some tiny signs of previous use, for well under forty quid, and it seems like an absolute bargain. I’ll deal with some of the issues other people have said.
It doesn’t come with a cable tidy, but all you have to do is wrap the cable round the handles, it really isn’t hard.
The handles fold up into the vertical position very easily and very quickly, without any need to start taking things apart. It literally takes about 3 seconds, and then you can lie your mower flat against your shed wall. You just have to squeeze the handles together while folding them, it’s explained in the manual.
It’s quite noisy, but that’s because it’s powerful. Lawn mowers generally are noisy, but you won’t need earplugs, I promise.
To adjust the blade height you use the spanner that comes with the mower. It should take you a couple of minutes, and once you’ve got the height right, just leave it at that setting.
The only issue I’ve had is with the plastic pivot pins that fix the handles to the body (the little round things in photo 2). As lots of other users have reported, they are slightly loose. The Flymo online parts department sell these for about 3.79 delivered if you lose yours, and I suspect the replacements are a better fit.
I have a large lawn and use a heavy duty petrol mower, but I’ve planted an orchard and I don’t want to damage my trees with the big mower. This little Flymo is perfect for the job. It’s very light and easy to manoeuvre. Yes, it has its limitations, but with garden machinery you do get what you pay for, and this is good value for money. And if you register it with Flymo (part of Husqvarna) you’ll get a two year warranty too. Great.
Delighted
Very to assemble and lightweight, looking forward to using it soo
Not what they used to be
Small and lightweight but not as good as they used to be. Doesn’t hover very well for some reason.
Easy to assemble, carry and use..very happy for a difficult first cut on a lawn that’s been left for a yea
Lovely lightweight little lawnmowe
I got this as my lawn i have 2 small lawns and my original lawnmower was a pain to carry from back garden to front, this is so easy to use and much lighter to carry doesn’t cut quite as short as my previous lawnmower but that’s fine. Very very pleased with this one!!
A lightweight mower for a smaller lawn.
We bought this mower for our front lawn. It seems best on fairly short grass, so it needs to be cut more frequently but as it is so light, it takes a short time to use so this is not a disadvantage.
Great little Lightweight Lawnmower!
A Lightweight Lawnmower, purchased for a pensioner, great for the smaller garden, manoeuvrability is great & easy to use.

It does the job very well
Our grass area is on a slope so we need a light mower which is easily manoeuvered. This mower fits the bill perfectly. It has more power than I was expecting from such a small mower and I’m very pleased with it.
Perfect for a small garde
The mower is easy to use , cable is a good length adjustable blade . Light weight,
Glides round the garden with ease .
Doesn't glide like I hoped
This was good value for money
But doesn’t glide like I thought it would
Also doesn’t cut low enough

Noisy
Noisy for a small machine cuts grass ok but doesn’t seem to hover well which makes it difficult to manoeuvre and quite difficult to fold down for storing.

Ideal hovermower for small law
This mower was easy to use in a small lawn. Just like hoovering. The flex had a long enough reach and the mower folded enough to store. It was necessary to undo the screws holding the handle to do this.
Ideal for small sloping areas of law
This small hover mower is ideal for small steeply sloping areas of lawn and I now have two – one for the front garden and one for the rear. They are light in weight and can efficiently cut areas where a heavy mower would be difficult to use safely. They are very easy to assemble and can easily be hung on a wall for storage.
Good enough for a small law
I was skeptical at first, bit must say I am satisfied with the performance of the product so far. (Have used it twice)
It is lightweight and easy to assemble and manouver and definitely good enough for a small lawn. The cutting quality depends on the height of the blades, which you can adjust to suit.
The only drawback I found so far is when removing the handles, as even though you use some kind of a clip to hold them in place (without screwing them in), it can a little tricky to pull them out afterwards.
Also, I found it just as noisy as the big mowers, which was a little off-putting.
