Excellent – once you use this you won’t use anything else.

Worth that little extra. Results are good, clean, straight lines when tape removed. Only criticism is that on occasion can remove emulsion paint.

Works very well. Unsure if a cheaper masking tape would do just as good of a job, however this worked amazingly, I think worth spending a bit more on certain projects.

Only used once, it went on well and came off ok, had to take my time taking it off, leave paint to dry for as long as you can – I left it for 24 hrs and it was great.

Great for clean masking but don’t let paint dry out completely or you’ll be peelng off all your hard work along with the tape.

Worked really well when used, easy to stick and prevents paint bleeding through.
    Bought two rolls!

If you want to prevent paint bleed then use Frog tape over generic masking tape brands. Having decorated most rooms in the house, this tape delivers the best result.

Made the mistake of using masking tape for my first go and it was absolutely awful, paint bleeding through everywhere. This did a perfect job will be using it for every paint job!

I needed something to protect the paint I had on the walls from the new gloss I was putting around the doors.
Once in place I could easily get on with my painting knowing that no paint would bleed under the tape.

Does what it says on the tin…a little time needed to accurately “mask” area. Necessary to use builders caulk if u need a crisp line on textured wallpaper..can Google this for technique. Would never use any other type of masking product…

Great as always, only brand I trust to do the job. Zero leakage even when little care taken. Always surprised theres no paint blead. Easy to reapply if needed to get straight lines.

As we reach the end of our house renovation this tape has been invaluable as part of our decorating. It goes on easily. The pain doesn’t bleed into it and removing is simple. Bought more!

This is pricier than the generic rolls of yellowish stuff in DIY stores, but this is easily a better product even if it costs a lot more.
Part of the issue with doing painting yourself is you don’t always apply the same time + cost you would if you were charging for your time, but sometimes that’s a helpful thing to do, especially with larger jobs. If you’re painting multiple rooms in your house, for example, or the woodwork in multiple rooms, and you start thinking about how long each wall takes, you’ll quickly see some jobs scale up and become massive. Anything that can trim time off, or reduce you having to go round ‘one last time’ can be worth its weight in gold. Like using decent paint with good coverage, this tape is one of those things.
Sticks well, no paint bleed, easy to handle and cut to fit around wonky edges/woodwork, it just feels reassuring going on. It doesn’t start peeling off, comes off pretty easily. The only downside I’d be wary of is putting it on recently painted surfaces as it can peel off. Of if you’ve used it around gloss work, give the gloss a few days to cure before removing. I’ve been painting homes for 25 years or so and this stuff was a revelation when I first got hold of it. (You can slo use the plastic tub it comes in for storage or brush cleaning afterwards).

Couldn’t want for more. Frog tape is obviously pricier than regular masking tape, but it’s so worth it. It’s reliable. Works perfectly! I don’t like that it comes in a plastic box. Would love it if they’d change that for card. But it is a recyclable box, so that’s something

Sticks well and creates perfect straight lines. Make sure its stuck down well as paint can bleed through. Always has good adhesion but be careful on some walls as it can take the plaster off.

Easy to remove. Remove while paint is still wet.

Much better than using masking tape!

My wife loves this tape, when painting she does the cutting in whilst I do the big bits. She has much more patience than me.

She won’t use anything else though and always does what it’s supposed too.

Shame it doesn’t stay over her mouth too long though

I have been painting steps for safety purposes. This tape, when applied with a roller, stuck well and gave a decent edge to the paint, even after 3 brush painted coats.

    Adheres Well

This is a must have when doing any room. I have used this in every room whilst decorating. I found that removing the tape whilst the paint is still wet is better than removing when dry as it can take some paint with it when it’s dried on top of the tape

Previously I always thought “I’m not paying that much for masking tape” and would buy the cheaper stuff. This always ended up with disappointment when it either tore off paint or paper when being removed. The frog tape did neither, honestly the lines are so straight and none of the lining paper was removed either. Would highly recommend.

If I could give 6 stars I would

Unlike normal nasty beige tape, this stuff actually keeps paint out at the edge, doesn’t rip previous layers off and provides a good straight edge. It also doesn’t turn to mummified chewing gum detritus after 6 months!

Bought this to cover my skirting boards, doors etc for painting as some masking tape seems to be a bit thin and hard to remove or just not sticky enough to stay on until you complete your DIY project. This has been a vast improvement, it’s sticky enough to stay on yet easy enough to remove with fear of tearing it.

This tape is perfect for anyone new to painting or those who want perfectly straight lines without any drips at all. The outside of the tape has this polymer material that will swell up once any type of liquid touches it, which is important for getting those perfectly straight lines. It’s also very easy to remove without peeling any paint off. There is a lot of tape in this pack I only needed about a quarter of it. The only thing I don’t like is the plastic packaging, it’s difficult to open and I think it’s unnecessary to use so much plastic just for some tape.

It’s a good product, does waht it says in the description. However, just one thing that i’d like to share, is that on some paint, when you stick this frog tape, it does take some paint off the walls or anything which you stick this on so just a heads up.

This tape is great to cover up door frames, light switches, sockets, etc – anything you don’t want to get paint over. It lets you paint around items quickly as you don’t need to worry about being neat and tidy. Once the paint is dry, the tape comes off easily without leaving residue or pulling paint off, and it leaves clean, straight edges. In some places, I’ve left the tape on for days, and it still came off easily and neatly. I’ve used 6 rolls of this tape to redecorate my house and has saved me several hours of time.

I have used masking tape for years on my decorating projects but this one seems to be one of the best I have used in years, it sticks and is also easy to remove afterwards if that makes sense. I masked out the areas I wanted to paint, and once painted and left for a short time, I then remove the tape which leaves a nice clean line before the paint sets hard. And with the colour you cannot miss where you have painted. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

I have only ever used masking tape for paint jobs and it has always ruined it and I’ve seen the ads for this and didn’t believe. I am definitely convinced, it’s worth spend a few quid on this because I had a split wall, half deep purple and half white. Not only did it create the most perfect line without paint bleed, it did not take off any of the paint from the wall before.

I tried to use a cheaper ‘sharp line’ tape for a different project which bleed really badly! I decided to buy this for when I did my bedroom wall. As you can see I had brilliant results. The wall was painted white 2 days before the tape was put on (they do recommend at least 3 days) but it didn’t peel any paint off. I put all the tape on then rubbed it quite hard to make sure it was really stuck on there I do think this made a big difference but overall the results were brilliant!

Used this to paint our living room walls and wanted to only paint up to 30cm below the ceiling which we were nervous about being novice painters! However the frog tape was perfect for giving us perfect edges. Just remember to peel the tape off whilst the paint is still wet!

I have always used plain masking tape to decorate but this stuff is so much better. It sticks better and you can remove simply. I will be using frogtape on all my painting jobs.

Used to keep paper blinds in place temporarily. Lasted a good six months before we removed to fit new blinds. Didn’t peel paint off or leave marks when removed, although removed very slowly from surface to be careful.

The frog giving the duck a hop for his money. This is what you get when the job is a ‘project’ and the extra few quid is worth it when Poundlands finest will not do. It’s very good.

I have tried other masking tapes in the past and found that they do not work. However after using green frog tape I have finally found a tape that does what it say’s it will. Excellent adhesion and easy to remove leaving perfect straight lines.

Great product sticks well even if dusty and my wall has been dry now for two weeks or so. I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs masking tape for painting and decorating. I originally bought frog tape that wasn’t as wide from my local B&Q and ran out so I ordered more from AMAZON and it is much better due to how wide it is, easy to rip aswel.
    HOPE THIS HELPS

I was warmly recommended the use of frog tape for painting and staining my stairs. I have to admit it works great with paint but not at all with stain, which passed through the tape. But that’s on me, there is another type for stains apparently. A little difficult to remove if left too long so remove it as soon is possible. Excellent for sleek paint lines on walls.

I love Frog Tape. The best tape for DIY/painting bar none. It’s a bit overpriced. But ordinary masking tape is just a waste of money, when it comes to achieving neatly defined painted edges.

My husband always claimed masking tape was a waste of time, just need a steady hand !
Well, he can’t decorate anymore so I bought this frog tape – which he scoffed at ! I know I don’t have a steady hand but this tape was amazing. It stuck easily and removed easily, without damaging the paintwork. I was able to do clean lines on skirting boards, picture rails and door frames! No smudges ! I’m 70 and I’m delighted to have used this excellent product!

The lines are perfect! I can’t believe how well the lines look, many a time have I used standard masking tape and many a time it has disappointed. It’s used exactly the same way as normal masking tape but leaves you with a professional finish. That’s why you pay more. I wasn’t sure it’d be worth it at first but thought I’d try it. So glad I did!

Really good tape, worth the extra money rather than masking tape , it only pulls paint of if you don’t warm the tape before pulling it off ( use a hairdryer to warm it up ) works wonders

Great for making painting alot easier when cutting in. Do have the occasional leak and rough edge when it hasnt fully stuck but it does save so much time. Peels off easily without removing any paint.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt seems as though wall paper is no longer the staple wall covering and has been overtaken by painting feature walls.

In the ongoing decorating cycle I seem to be stuck in – my living room is on its 3rd iteration in six years??? – being able to conjure up straight lines where white paint meets coloured paint is essential.

I’ve used frog tape to good effect before so picked up a roll of this.

    The Good –

Firstly, it’s green, or yellow if you bought the yellow tape, this means in a sea of tools, sheets and beige, it really stands out. It’s handy.

It’s easy to apply, just the right amount of tension to ensure you are putting a straight line in without tearing it until you want to.

In the past when using general masking tape I have often tore it during application, not so with this.

As long as you remember to remove it shortly after painting it really will leave a perfectly fantastic border line. I found once when I left it on for a couple of hours it took a lot of paint off with it on removal. Don’t be like me. Take it off early.

It does come off easily when pulled, try to pull in short amounts rather than ending up with 6ft dangling on the floor at a time, this also helps to increase the effectiveness and reduce unwanted paint removal I have found.

I don’t seem to ever get any seepage from this so it gives me confidence to just hurl the paint on, meaning I can go a fair bit faster round a room.

There isn’t anything bad to say about this product, it is a premium product versus standard beige masking tape you can pick up anywhere, but you really do get a premium finish for your money.

    A decorating essential. Highly recommended.

    Five Stars.

    Straight lines every time!
