An absolutely gorgeous children's toy.
I ordered Cubby the Curious Bear, the latest edition to Hasbro’s FurReal Friends line, for my 7 year old daughter for her birthday.
Cubby is an interactive bearcub whose realistic movements will impress both adults and kids.

In the main ‘on’ mode, Cubby can move his head, nose, arms, eyes, and more. This means Cubby features more than 100 sound-and-motion combinations, which kids can discover by playing with their bearcub friend. Kids can interact with Cubby in many ways, such as tickling his tummy, blowing on his nose, or patting his head. Squeeze his paw, and Cubby will play peek-a-boo or lift his arms (asking to be picked up).

While Cubby’s legs don’t move on their own, kids can manually put him in either a standing or sitting position. The sitting position is perfect for cuddles or feeding time, when Cubby sucks on the included bottle or honeycomb treat. (Don’t put any liquid in his bottle, though.) When he’s all done, try putting him on his back to watch him fall asleep — and snore! — almost instantly.

Cubby is energetic and fun when he’s fully on, but he also features a nighttime mode that provides calm and comfort for kids at bedtime. This mode is marked by a moon on Cubby’s on/off switch (which is located outside of his velcro battery pack — a big plus.) Place him in nighttime mode, and he’ll start one of three calming five-minute sequences. In these sequences, he closes his eyes and plays either soft music or ambient forest sounds before automatically shutting down. All of his sensors are shut off in this mode, too, so Cubby won’t make unexpected movements when kids try to sleep. While Cubby’s mechanics don’t make him as squishy as a traditional stuffed animal, his fur makes him comfortable enough for bedtime cuddles.

Overall, Cubby is a very cute companion and a great choice for kids who aren’t quite ready for a real pet but still want the chance to care for an adorable animal by feeding, brushing, and comforting it (and getting comforted in return)!

My daughter has played with Cubby every day since receiving him and I must admit to wanting a cuddle from him every now and again too- he’s so cute!!!

He’s presented in a beautiful box also that makes him the perfect gift idea for a loved one.

At the current sale price of 54.99 (at the time of writing this review) it is a great value for money toy.

Please note- you will require 4 C batteries which are not included. It’s something worthy noting as I had a mad rush to our local shop when realising. It’s worth having them ready when your child receives it.

Brought for xmas gifts for granddaughters absoutly beautiful and big so cute even dwn to the little teeth and colours are lovely worth every penny put batteries in ready for xmas and so cutr sings but my kitten poppie popping head up curious as to what it was is comical deffo reccomend these and great size too

The curious panda is adorable!
My daughter specifically asked for ‘a panda that moves by itself..’ from Father Christmas! Low and behold having had this panda in my basket for a year I’ve watched the price fluctuate considerably from around 90 (in my opinion way too steep) down to 53 in a Prime day sale. I snapped it up and am delighted I did. It makes me snails as much as my daughter when I see how much she loves it.

Such a beautiful bear.
I love this (BEAR) he’s so cute you just have to pick him up and give him a cuddle. He takes some time but gradually he will mimick some of your actions and words. He sings at random, when he’s bored and if you don’t pay him any mind he’ll go to sleep, I wouldn’t recommend this for young children as it’s quite expensive and easily damaged. I’m really pleased that I bought him and wold recommend him to anyone who doesn’t mind talking to toys.

4.5 year old adores her bea
Our 4.5 year old daughter received Cubby for Christmas and she has not been without him for the past three months – she carries him everywhere with her. The bedtime lullaby mode is really sweet and has helped our daughter get to sleep on her own.

When we bought it for her I thought it was a bit overpriced for what it is – and truth be told it probably is. But I had not expected anywhere near the level of bond / affection that our daughter has with it. It will be interesting to see how long until she’s bored of it but for the moment it has been the Xmas present that she has gotten the most out of… and by a long way.

This product is wow. The quality is the best, the way it looks is amazing, the softness of it is perfect.
It looks like a real alive teddy. My daughter loves it. So do I, totally recommend it.

What's Not to Love
My favourite toy of Christmas 2020 but unfortunately I had to give it to a 3 year old who also loved it. It is quite big and bulky but exceptionally cute and well worth the money. I handed over a box of batteries as well so hopefully they are lasting. If she ever loses interest I will definitely have it back! Brought a smile to everyone’s face, young and old.

Make sure you have fresh batteries to hand
Cubby arrived in good shape. Included batteries though failed almost immediately so necessary to have fresh batteries available to avoid disappointment. Otherwise, Cubby has been a big hit with 5 year old grandchild.

My daughter loves Cubby. In fact the whole family were rather taken with him over Christmas. He is just so cute and despite him being fairly hard, you do find yourself wanting to give him a hug. Sleep mode is a nice touch too.
Whilst he is great, he was expensive!

A little gem!
Absolutely love this bear. My 6 year old daughter had this on her letter to Santa and I hesitated due to the price, but managed to grab it when it was discounted. Not only was my daughter over the moon to unwrap him on Christmas Day, but I’m pleasantly surprised how lovely this is. You can feel the hard structure underneath, but that doesn’t detract from the softness of the fur. It’s interactive and fun and has given the whole family some laughs. My daughter hasn’t put it down yet!

Good product, we had to exchange our 1st bear as it wasn’t suitable but overall I think it’s a lovely toy.

Had to pre install batteries so my grandson would be able to play with it straight after unwrapping it for Xmas. I obviously had to have a little play myself. Such a fun bear. Great moves and noises. Had me chuckling for ages, can’t wait to see how Morgan reacts.

Excellent gift!
I’m giving this 5 stars on behalf of my 8 year old!! I thought may be a little bit too old for this but absolutely loves the bear. It’s particularly cute when he laughs when you tickle good tummy. Also, very soft fur!! It’s quite expensive at full price, but my daughter would tell you it’s worth it!!
