This replaced a Hozelock and is a much sturdier product.
Very simple to mount on a wall.
The retracting mechanism is excellent.
The hose end has a variable spray.
Got it at a great weekend discount price and so glad we bought it.

I’ve only had this wall hose a couple of weeks, so I cannot comment on whether it will continue to perform well. However, at the moment, I’m delighted with it. It was easy to fix to the wall, easy to extend and easy to retract. It’s only a 20 metre hose, ample for my garden. I give it a jerk upwards to fix the hose in the extended position and I pull gently downwards on the hose to feed it back into its box. It’s like magic how it neatly recoils , moving smoothly from side to side. Also, it was heavily discounted by Amazon, which made it good value for money. In short, it’s excellent – and I hope it will still be working well in 12 months time and beyond.
Only had this for a few weeks but I am pleased with how easy this is to use and store. The manufacturer says it can be left outside in the winter – still to see if the Gardena connecters remain so secure and water tight.
I expected this hose to swivel around with a plastic-to-plastic scraping noise but no, it is made with quality materials and it rotates smoothly and quietly without effort. It installs easily and the hose pulls out and returns easily too. This garden hose was a present and It is my new favorite toy.
Some say they had this screwed to the wall in 5 minutes but I cannot lie, it took me closer to 25 minutes. It is not every day I drill holes in my exterior wall so I took my time to make sure I did a good job. I am not happy with the length of the small water hose they provide in the box, no matter how close you are to the tap, the small water hose they supply will probably not reach it. You will either have to cut a bit from the main hose “which I would not do”, or buy a longer hose to reach the tap. My exterior wall had an uneven surface so I used three thick rubber washers to bolt the unit to the wall so the plastic support would not distort under the pressure of me tightening it. I also put grease on the small screws to make sure they did not rust and to make disassembly easier if I wanted to take it inside during the winter.
One down side. I am not happy with the manufacturer’s customer services, not supplier’s customer
services but the manufacturers. I asked them the width of the unit when it was swiveled back against the wall and, if they could supply me with a right-angled snap tight connector so the feed hose would hang straight down and and not rub against the wall. I was totally ignored.
However, this garden hose exceeds my expectations.
Easy to install and does what it says on the tin so far.
Smooth in operation so would expect a useful life expectancy… which is expected for the price.

Love this hose, so easy to use, super easy to install
My last similar unit cost me approx 60 and performed well. I had to replace it after a workman on a ladder decided to stand on it and broke the re-wind mechanism. I buy Hozelock for my garden irrigation systems and like the quality so decided that for the replacement I would pay the extra (about 50) for there Hozelock unit. I am glad I did skas it is very well made an operates so easily and consistently. The previous unit had the problem that when the hose was pulled out to the required point it confused the last pull for the trigger pull that results in the hose zipping back into the unit. This one works smoothly and correctly every time and is a pleasure to use. Pricey but worth it for the quality and ease of use.
Schnell geliefert und schnell montiert. Praktisch da man es berall platzieren kann bzw auch wieder woanders aufstellen kann.
Leider ist nach ca. 1 Jahr die Wandhalterung defekt, Sehr rgerlich. Schlauchbehltnis hngt nur noch am seidenen Faden. Garantie abgelaufen!
Endlich ist unser Gartenschlauch aufgerumt! Und mit 25m kommt man auch noch gut vors Haus
I bought the Gardena after using a Hoselock for years and found the difference unbelievable. The hose self winds easily and the water connector doesn’t keep popping off. Would definitely recommend this product.
