Variable Temperature Control
Both the grill and griddle have independent temperature controls, allowing you to alter the temperature on either side dependent on the food you’re cooking.
If you only want to use one side of the appliance, simple turn the variable temperature off on the side you don’t wish to use, keeping you firmly in control.
Non-stick grill plates
No oils or butter required! The improved, 3 x longer lasting non-stick coating makes it easier for any grease or fat to drain off the food into the perfect-fit drip tray.
The Grill & Griddle is easy to clean, simply wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
You can wash the drip tray in warm soapy water, or in the top rack of the dishwasher.

I’ve used this every single day since I took it out the box, things cook so much quicker giving you more time to do other things. Extremely well built quality product. I found a little oil was required when doing eggs and things like that but you don’t need much, I made the mistake of putting too much on and it was spitting oil all over the place so I am still learning and found a light brush over was sufficie

Yeah this product is very handy for cooking the likes of steaks ,sausages ect ,it heats up quickly and keeps a stable temperature although the hot plate does vary a little more in temperature, but overall it’s very good , it’s also easy to clean , does ent take up to much room either, so think it’s a good buy , as quick to heat up and get food cooked and on your plate !!

Everything about this product has been thought through with care.
Easy to clean and great instructions, even has some yummy recipes! Cooks like a dream and no fat left on the food. Good for dispraxia, very safe. The size would comfortably have enough space for 3 or 4 needing an instant fry up.
To clean simply wait til its cool, put normal veg oil on a clean dry cloth or soft kitchen towel and wipe over including anything stuck on. Wait up to one hour if say tomato pips are super-glued on, then put oil on cloth and wipe gently over again in the wax on, wax off motion (credits to Sir George Foreman and Mr. Miyagi). Wipe towards the tray, then when grease in tray is cold, collect with dry disposable cloth. Tray is washable.

Good, but not as good as older models
When I ordered this grill, I was already a Foreman grill convert, having had them for over 10 years. I’ve had a small grill, and also a similar grill to this but an older model. I bought this to replace an older model, and was hesitant due to other reviews on here about heating elements failing and reduction in size. I can say that the heating seems to be fine, and after several months both top and bottom heating is still working. Cleaning is easier than previously, thanks I think to extra-smooth grill plates that just need a quick wipe over with a sponge compared to scrubbing the older model. The one downside really is the reduction in size for the grill. It really is a bit smaller than older models, and so this means I have to change the way I cook. However, this also means that the grill fits better on my kitchen worktop.
I use the George Foreman grill & griddle most days, as it is easier than using the oven or hob. It is definitely worth the money, although I would suggest looking around as some sellers are charging almost double the price of others.

Is quick to heat up, cleans easily and stores away. I protect the plates by oiling like a wok from time to time .. I never use detergent on it, simply wipe clean with good quality kitchen roll!

Excellent Grill excepting for....one minor flaw
We use it mainly for grilling sausages, burgers, and making toasted sandwiches.
Grill: Heating and Toasting is not evenly distributed between the 2 components. The lid temperature exceeds the base of the grill.
Tip: Flip every 90 seconds to avoid charring on the upper surface

THE BEST PIECE OF KITCHEN KIT!!!!
The BEST piece of kitchen kit!!! I think we’ve had every George Forman over the years & the was always something lacking. No temp control, food stuck to plates (and couldn’t dish wash), the non stick flaked off, too small to big etc.
This is seriously spot on. Eggs on the griddle plate – perfect, food on the other part – perfect. Temp control spot on. And the winner – the non stick is improved and it CLEANS WITH JUST A WIPE OVER. Literally all of our friends have bought one. Winner!!!

Out of the frying pan...
Fantastic at what it does, cooks everything well. Highly recommended and we have used it loads. We don’t have to use (or scrub) frying pans anymore. The dual controls mean you can keep things warm on the hot plate whilst you cook something else. Cooks sausages, bacon, mushrooms and veg a treat. Indoor BBQ. We love it.

Rapid heat up, miles better than the original version. Get cooking in <2 mins and even heat all round. Note the Griddle and flat area have individual power controls. Which is great for cooking everything right and on time together. The surface is super slick, the best non stick I've seen on a George.

Easy to use
Brilliant product, just difficult to clean between the hinges. Coating appears to be coming off after the 2nd wash but I’m chalking that up to the girlfriends rough scrubbing. Otherwise it works brilliantly and the food comes out amazing.

Handy for frying in a hurry but it takes up quite some space on the kitchen counter top when not in use.

Have just updated to this model. They are a very good product but the none stick coating dose not last as long as I would have hoped even though I followed manufacturers instructions for cleaning.the previous one did not last. Let’s hope this one is better.

Great grill, cleaning could be easie
Would recommend. Cooks food quickly, without the need for oil. Only down side is the cleaning. Removable grills would make cleaning far easier, but not too bad when just cleaning with just a sponge or cloth

Could be bigge
I have always used George the 1st one was just the big round on. The last E had been the one you can cook regs etc on the side. They seem to be getting smaller and it if you want everybody to eat altogether it is not big enough. It could also do with a longer lead. I will carry on using them but please do not make them any smaller.

Least to use. Separate temp controls for grill and griddle. Would recommend. Can be a little hard to scrub clean the griddle but add a little heat to it before scrubbing and it seems to work.

I don’t give it a break. Love it!!! Sausages, eggs, bacon, anything. To clean it, the plate needs to be warm, not even hot and I do it, using a kitchen paper.

Was going to buy a cadac gas bbq for my caravan but friends bought one of these. I was so impressed i bought one that day as we always get electric hook up when touring .Absolutely brilliant. Cooked outdoors for 12 people. No problem.

This is an absolute beast. I’ve made pancakes on it, fried eggs on it, fish, meat, you name it. Its awesome. If it ever dies out of warranty (which is long) I will immediately buy another, as I actually can’t image living without it.

I bought this for the summer but did not realise how massive this is! I got it at a bargain price so couldbt resist it, great for big families and great if you dont want to be eating fatty foods, there is so much you can cook on a George foreman from vegetables to meats to making toasties it’s also a great alternative in summer if you cant be bothered messing about with the bbq and its cleaner lol no burnt out coals and scrubbing the bbq racks just a quick wipe down with a sponge quick dry and done fabulous

A great product that has been used to cook most of my meals. Very easy to clean after use which is also helpful. My only down side for it is the actual grill part is a wee bit small if you have a family of say four you may want a larger grill.
You asked me did my George Foreman ‘lean mean griddle machine’ meet my expectations? The honest answer is No!! It broke the bloody sound barrier, it’s absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend this product, it cooks to perfection, the omelettes on the griddle are amazing too, I use this virtually every day. Nice one George!!
Good piece of kit. Having a flat top is useful and temp control very handy as my old one just used to burn everything!
Only issue is fat doesn’t really drain off, have to prop up with coasters and lets be honest no George foreman is easy to clean.

It is currently 4 cheaper in B&M, but hey can’t win them all. Been a while since I’ve used one but this is really easy to get on with and heats up rapidly too
I love this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes delicious and healthy meals prepared in no time! Very easy to clean and to use, cooks all types of meat, fish and vegetable very quickly! The only problem for me seems to be the light indicator that shows both parts are heating when I only want to use one of them and have turned the other one off.

Great as can use each section individually and is great to have temperature control, I use it on middle setting and cooks well without burning and is easy to clean.
Had machines with no temperature control before and it burnt the food and burns onto the machine making kt hard to clean.

I have been looking around at decided that the George Foreman was exactly what was wanted. In use I have been very pleased with the grill and would recommend this unit especially if caravaning when it is ideal rather than using a BBQ as it is much quicker.

Great for breakfast and any other meal where grilling is required. Healthy eating and best of all, only one item to wash up.
Very pleased with this item – the side of the hot plate nearest the control is slightly warmer than the far side this is useful as I’m using it to make potato, soda and wheaten breads. The grill section is fast and cooks evenly. I would recommend it.
