A Fantastic Drum Throne I have to have a drum throne with a backrest and this one just fits the bill perfectly. It is rock solid while also being very comfortable.
Assembly – While the assembly is very easy it is a little tricky to get the backrest on where it doesn’t wobble. However, once you get it right, its amazing!
Stability – This throne is a tank! When assembled correctly it doesn’t budge.
Comfort – This is obviously one of the most important factors when buying a drum throne. If you aren’t comfortable you won’t want to play. This throne is extremely comfortable. The back rest is adjustable enough it should work with any height/weight. The seat cushion is firm enough to support but not so firm it’s unpleasant to sit on. I can easily play for hours without even feeling it
Price – This is not a cheap throne. I think the highest compliment I can give it is I think it is worth every cent.

Great stool but not for me as a guitarist. As an ageing bass guitarist I have developed back issues. This stool is very good quality and very sturdy but it didnt work for me. The stool leans the player forward, I found this uncomfortable, to get back support i needed to purposefully lean back and hold the position. I found this awkward and distracting from my playing. This may suit some players and I would of liked to of tried it with the round seat. I have sent it back. But it is a well made stool.

A good seat but should be a little cheape It’s a little bit pricey, reasonably sturdy but it’s only a few months old will see how it holds out longer term and is comfortable to sit on . I have had to tighten it a few times
Far beyond comfortable & functional This is the most wonderful keyboard throne. At times I spend up to 5 hours sitting so comfort is A MUST. It never lets me down. In fact the longer I use it the more it conforms to my body requirements.
I must note that because of my particular body requirements I had to increase the bend in the backrest arm to +90 degrees. However, now that I’ve been using it for many hours, there’s a good possibility this adjustment may have NOT been necessary. A bit too premature.
This is a very practical unit beit a studio application or a home setting. So very well priced.

Great stool for playing guitar. The caveat is that I just wish you could adjust the angle of the backrest a little. The backrest is not uncomfortable, it it certainly isn’t overly comfortable, either. If I could find someone who does good pipe bending I might get them to put a tiny bit of angle on the backrest. Solid, robust, sturdy, all of those but.. Nice. Sturdy. Pretty easy to assemble. But….not sure about the “height locking device”. Maybe mine doesn’t work? I can understand why you might “want to” lock the height but just can’t understand how this device works.

For guitarists too.. My drummer hates me for having this – I use it for guitar practice and for working at a desk at home, its great, very well built, comfortable and adaptable – a litle pricey but worth it – and it comes with some free stickers which i have stuck on his bass drum..
Réglage trop juste à l'horizontale. Produit de trs bonne qualit comme toujours avec Gibraltar. Le sige est confortable cependant j’ai retir une toile cause du rglage du dossier l’horizontale un peu trop court pour moi il manque au moins 5 centimetres mais bon je m’habituerai la longue.
Decent Drum Throne but... The first negative is the instructions themselves. They leave a lot to be desired. Second negative is the time it takes to put it together. You need a drum key, a hex wrench and deft hands to hold plates in place in order to attach the arm for the backrest to the seat, and then the backrest itself. Bottom line, if you can afford a RocNSoc Nitro with a backrest, that’s the best chair on the market (wish I had never sold mine).
I got this one together but it took longer than I thought it should. it is adequate, fine, but nothing to write home about. If I had it to do over again, I would get a RocNSoc nitro with same style seat (motorcycle). I am not going to further frustrate myself by taking this one apart and returning it. It will be fine…just not great.

If you are significantly shorter you may want to look at something which goes lower unless you want some angle between the top of your legs and the floor. This chair has been comfortable for a couple of hours at a time which is about all I have time for. I don’t use the backrest while actually practicing but it is nice to have when you want to break for a couple of minutes. It is a bit of a short coming to not include a wrench for the seat lock (not a drummer) but I found that a 1/4” box end wrench works perfectly without stripping the square bolt. It is portable, doesn’t rattle, and actually feels a little heavier than it looks. Happy with this purchase. This is a nice stool,good and sturdy . I was a dentist for many years and this is just as good as my dental stool, for a lot less money. Auch gut zum Akkordeon spielen geeigne Habe den Hocker gekauft, da mir beim Akkordeon spielen immer ein Bein, auf normalen Sthlen, eingeschlafen ist. Mit diesem Stuhl ist nun alles perfekt.

Excellent stool - would prefer four legs I use the stool in a small work booth and it’s size, height adjustments, and tendency to keep me sitting straight (I’m a leg crosser and a slumper when allowed) is very welcome.
The build seems very sturdy, but I do tilt it a bit on entry sometimes – probably due to the limited space mentioned, because I’m coming in from the side instead of being able to walk to the front and sit straight back onto it. Regardless, a more stable model of the same design would be nice.

Not as comfortable nor sturdy as I was expecting Updated 7/2/20: I found an additional adjustment on the base that allowed me to better secure it to the seat cushion, resulting in most of the “rocking” motion noted in my original review to be eliminated. However, the “installation instructions” need to be improved to cover this better. I’ve upgraded my overall rating to 4 stars (from 3).
Original review:The chair seems well-made and works o.k. for my guitar practice sessions. It did take a little patience putting together. Also, the seat cushion is not as comfortable as I was expecting but the back-rest provides decent support. My biggest issue is I can’t seem to get the stem that attaches the base to the seat cushion tight enough so it doesnt rock a bit when I sit on it. Also, the wingnut that secures the base to the seat periodically comes loose. And I’m not that big a person at 175 lbs. For a premium-priced seat I was expecting a better functioning seat.
Back support/straight lower back Excellent, high quality. I have lower back disk problems and it provides perfect support and reminds me to keep my lower back straight. I sit close to pedals and back rest juts in just enough to keep everything straight. I’m 6 ft, 185 lbs. Would not work for a much bigger or heavier man though.

Muy buena calidad, pero si eres grande no es tu silla La calidad de fabricacin es muy buena y la resistencia est asegurada, pero en mi opinin la banqueta, que es comoda, es ancha pero demasiado corta. El respaldo es innecesariamente grueso e incluso en su posicin ms atrasada te empuja demasiado delante, de forma que los muslos no apoyan nada en el asiento. Mido 1.82 y peso 84 kg, creo que es un asiento muy bueno, pero para gente ms pequea.

Super bequem, auch (oder gerade) fr “Schwergewichte” mit entspr. “Koffer”, schwer u. massiv, tadellose Verarbeitung, aufwndige u. durchdachte Feststellmechaniken, edler u. angenehmer Samtveloursbezug, und – last but not least – eine ebenso funktionelle wie bequeme Rckenlehne.
Aufgrund immer wiederkehrender Kritik in div. Rezensionen an dem (angebl. zu groen) Abstand der Rckenlehne zur Sitzflche, sah ich mich schon im Geiste Flex oder Eisensge ansetzen, um den Bgel der Lehne unter der Sitzflche ein Stck zu krzen, und so den Abstand praktikabel zu gestalten…
…was sich aber nach dem Zusammenbau (im Karton in 4 Teile zerlegt: Untergestell, Sitzflche, Lehne u. Bgel) in Luft auflste: Den Bgel bis zum Anschlag in der Fhrung unter d. Sitzflche eingeschoben u. fixiert, d. Lehne bis bndig rauf zur Abdeckkappe des Bgels u. fixiert – und siehe da, es ist PERFEKT!
Ich sitze aufrecht und habe dennoch festen Kontakt mit dem Rcken zur Lehne – besser geht’s praktisch gar nicht mehr – also genau so, wie’s (auch) von Profis in Bezug auf d. Sitzhaltung am Set empfohlen wird!
Wer damit (dennoch) ein Problem hat, ist entweder mit einer merkwrdigen Physiognomie gestraft, hat einen anderen Hocker, oder sitzt irgendwie vllig falsch / krumm / oder sonst wie unnatrlich an seiner “Schiebude”.
Vielleicht ist’s ja mal fr den Einen oder Anderen an der Zeit, einen Physiotherapeuten oder gar Orthopden aufzusuchen…?
Zusammenfassend komme ich zu der Feststellung, dass es zwar auch (mindestens) einen Hocker mit Rckenlehne schon fr knapp unter 100,- gibt, aber der kann dann auch nicht mit einem Samtvelours-Sitzbezug (mit dem auch die Rckenlehne bezogen ist) punkten, was aber die – zumindest mir bekannten – wesentl. teureren Hocker ebenfalls nicht knnen.
Ob Leder, oder gar Kunstleder – im Sommer schwitzig-nass u. “klebrig” (zumindest in kurzem “Beinkleid”) u. im Winter buchstbl. arschkalt.
Auf dem >>Gibraltar<< sitzt man hingegen im Sommer trocken u. im Winter angenehm krperwarm - auch am Rcken - und das zudem auf einer ausgesprochen dicken Sitzpolsterung.
Fest, aber nicht zu hart und dennoch weich genug, dass es auch nach lngeren Sessions nicht unangenehm drckt, was sowohl leichtgewichtigere Drummer als auch schwerere "Brocken" zufrieden stellen drfte.
Meine 102 Kilo fhlen sich jedenfalls sauwohl darauf.
Dicke, massive Gummife machen den "Tron" gleichermaen rutschfest wie standsicher, wozu u.a. natrl. auch die massiven Doppelstreben des Untergestells ihren Teil beitragen, der Memory Lock fr die Hheneinstellung hlt bombenfest u. zuverlssig die eingestellte Hhe - egal ob man die Sitzflche nun fixiert (starr / nicht drehend), oder man sich - wie bei mir der Fall - dafr entscheidet, den Sitz frei drehend zu nutzen (was schon allein das Platznehmen / Verlassen des Sets deutl. erleichtert, vor allen Dingen bei beengten Platzverhltnissen), wie berhaupt alle Ein-/Feststellmechaniken aus meiner Sicht schon Profiqualitt aufweisen und einmal eingestellt wackelt, klappert oder kippelt da nirgends mehr was und erfordert auch spter keinerlei Nach-/Einstellarbeiten mehr, was man allerdings bei diesem Preis dann auch erwarten darf.
Unterm Strich gesehen kann er also alles besser als die billige(r)en, aber eben auch nix schlechter als die teure(re)n.
Fazit:
Ein wirkl. edler Hocker mit Profi-Merkmalen zu einem (noch) akzeptablen Preis, der schon aufgrund seines Bezugsstoffes in gewisser Weise ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal darstellt.
berraschender Weise kostet er z.Zt. allerdings 179,- - whrend ich im Dezember 2019 noch 10,- weniger dafr berappen musste - womit er sich dann allerdings preisl. schon wieder merklich in Richtung der hochpreisige(r)en Hocker bewegt.
Darber zu urteilen verkneife ich mir an dieser Stelle aber und freue mich statt dessen ber die Ersparnis (...?...).

This chair/throne/stool has worked out great. I use it at home for practicing guitar. My back doesn’t hurt anymore when I practice and I can rock back against the backrest without any issues. Totally comfortable drummer's throne. The motorcycle style seat is differently the most comfortable throne I have ever sat on. Proper support while leaving room for freedom of movement of your legs. Some online reviews critique the backrest as being too far away from the drummer's back to be useful during performance, but the manufacturer must have changed the angle of the backrest. The seat is firmly padded and comfortable through long sessions. The anti-slip velour like fabric is cool and much more comfortable than vinyl. Very nice throne. It is really heavy and well built. It is very comfortable, but as others have mentioned, the backrest is too far back to provide support while playing. Seat- Very comfortable especially for a bigger guy, gives the tush the “just right” feeling
Legs- very secure and stable
Adjustability/memory lock- confusing and doesn’t come with instructions of how to adjust. We haven’t done any internet research and I’m sure there is a simple answer to our confusion but it is actually the height needed when put together so no huge drive to find out what we are doing wrong. I think it all comes down to the memory lock.
A great throne only drawback is that it isn’t a hydraulic lift, but I knew that when purchasing it and no great information of the memory lock with the packaging.
Bought this for my keyboard playing guitarist who likes the occasional night of rock band drums. It has worked well for all three above and even has his drummer brother maybe a bit envious that this may be better than his. (which it is :)!)

This is an awesome chair. The only thing I don't like about it is the limited seat height adjustment capabilities. If your a real tall guy, you might feel this is too short. EXTREMELY comfortable. Amazing! I can’t imagine something better (for the most part). I switched from a Mapex thick to this and it’s soo much more comfortable with the soft material and foam. The back rest makes it even better.
If I had one gripe it would be that the seat base is a little too big for me. I’m about 6′ and am thin so it seems there’s a bit too much room. But that’s the least of anything – it’s too comfortable and with the spiral type height adjustment it’s so much easier than a screw type. The base seems wider to me than my Mapex chair-good.

A Fantastic Drum Throne
I have to have a drum throne with a backrest and this one just fits the bill perfectly. It is rock solid while also being very comfortable.
Assembly – While the assembly is very easy it is a little tricky to get the backrest on where it doesn’t wobble. However, once you get it right, its amazing!
Stability – This throne is a tank! When assembled correctly it doesn’t budge.
Comfort – This is obviously one of the most important factors when buying a drum throne. If you aren’t comfortable you won’t want to play. This throne is extremely comfortable. The back rest is adjustable enough it should work with any height/weight. The seat cushion is firm enough to support but not so firm it’s unpleasant to sit on. I can easily play for hours without even feeling it
Price – This is not a cheap throne. I think the highest compliment I can give it is I think it is worth every cent.

Great stool but not for me as a guitarist.
As an ageing bass guitarist I have developed back issues. This stool is very good quality and very sturdy but it didnt work for me. The stool leans the player forward, I found this uncomfortable, to get back support i needed to purposefully lean back and hold the position. I found this awkward and distracting from my playing. This may suit some players and I would of liked to of tried it with the round seat. I have sent it back. But it is a well made stool.

El asiento es bastante cmodo, se puede ajustar a altura fcilmente y se puede dejar flojo para que gire, pero en lo personal las marcas para las piernas hacen que siempre me siente en la misma posicin y creo que un asiento redondo me hubiera dejado ms libertad. A good seat but should be a little cheape
It’s a little bit pricey, reasonably sturdy but it’s only a few months old will see how it holds out longer term and is comfortable to sit on . I have had to tighten it a few times
Far beyond comfortable & functional
This is the most wonderful keyboard throne. At times I spend up to 5 hours sitting so comfort is A MUST. It never lets me down. In fact the longer I use it the more it conforms to my body requirements.
I must note that because of my particular body requirements I had to increase the bend in the backrest arm to +90 degrees. However, now that I’ve been using it for many hours, there’s a good possibility this adjustment may have NOT been necessary. A bit too premature.
This is a very practical unit beit a studio application or a home setting. So very well priced.

Great stool for playing guitar. The caveat is that I just wish you could adjust the angle of the backrest a little. The backrest is not uncomfortable, it it certainly isn’t overly comfortable, either. If I could find someone who does good pipe bending I might get them to put a tiny bit of angle on the backrest.

Solid, robust, sturdy, all of those but..
Nice. Sturdy. Pretty easy to assemble. But….not sure about the “height locking device”. Maybe mine doesn’t work? I can understand why you might “want to” lock the height but just can’t understand how this device works.

My drummer hates me for having this – I use it for guitar practice and for working at a desk at home, its great, very well built, comfortable and adaptable – a litle pricey but worth it – and it comes with some free stickers which i have stuck on his bass drum..

The first negative is the instructions themselves. They leave a lot to be desired. Second negative is the time it takes to put it together. You need a drum key, a hex wrench and deft hands to hold plates in place in order to attach the arm for the backrest to the seat, and then the backrest itself. Bottom line, if you can afford a RocNSoc Nitro with a backrest, that’s the best chair on the market (wish I had never sold mine).
I got this one together but it took longer than I thought it should. it is adequate, fine, but nothing to write home about. If I had it to do over again, I would get a RocNSoc nitro with same style seat (motorcycle). I am not going to further frustrate myself by taking this one apart and returning it. It will be fine…just not great.
I bought this for use as a classical and electric guitar practice chair based on other reviews. So far it works really well for this. I am about 5’11” 168 lb and with the seat at its lowest the tops of my legs are parallel to the ground. The very front of the seat is about 19-1/2″ in this position. I had an ergonomic evaluation at work once and was told this is optimal for posture and fatigue in the workplace so I went with that here. If you are significantly shorter you may want to look at something which goes lower unless you want some angle between the top of your legs and the floor. This chair has been comfortable for a couple of hours at a time which is about all I have time for. I don’t use the backrest while actually practicing but it is nice to have when you want to break for a couple of minutes. It is a bit of a short coming to not include a wrench for the seat lock (not a drummer) but I found that a 1/4″ box end wrench works perfectly without stripping the square bolt. It is portable, doesn’t rattle, and actually feels a little heavier than it looks. Happy with this purchase.

I use the stool in a small work booth and it’s size, height adjustments, and tendency to keep me sitting straight (I’m a leg crosser and a slumper when allowed) is very welcome.
The build seems very sturdy, but I do tilt it a bit on entry sometimes – probably due to the limited space mentioned, because I’m coming in from the side instead of being able to walk to the front and sit straight back onto it. Regardless, a more stable model of the same design would be nice.

Updated 7/2/20: I found an additional adjustment on the base that allowed me to better secure it to the seat cushion, resulting in most of the “rocking” motion noted in my original review to be eliminated. However, the “installation instructions” need to be improved to cover this better. I’ve upgraded my overall rating to 4 stars (from 3).
Original review:The chair seems well-made and works o.k. for my guitar practice sessions. It did take a little patience putting together. Also, the seat cushion is not as comfortable as I was expecting but the back-rest provides decent support. My biggest issue is I can’t seem to get the stem that attaches the base to the seat cushion tight enough so it doesnt rock a bit when I sit on it. Also, the wingnut that secures the base to the seat periodically comes loose. And I’m not that big a person at 175 lbs. For a premium-priced seat I was expecting a better functioning seat.

Excellent, high quality. I have lower back disk problems and it provides perfect support and reminds me to keep my lower back straight. I sit close to pedals and back rest juts in just enough to keep everything straight. I’m 6 ft, 185 lbs. Would not work for a much bigger or heavier man though.

La calidad de fabricacin es muy buena y la resistencia est asegurada, pero en mi opinin la banqueta, que es comoda, es ancha pero demasiado corta. El respaldo es innecesariamente grueso e incluso en su posicin ms atrasada te empuja demasiado delante, de forma que los muslos no apoyan nada en el asiento. Mido 1.82 y peso 84 kg, creo que es un asiento muy bueno, pero para gente ms pequea.

Super bequem, auch (oder gerade) fr “Schwergewichte” mit entspr. “Koffer”, schwer u. massiv, tadellose Verarbeitung, aufwndige u. durchdachte Feststellmechaniken, edler u. angenehmer Samtveloursbezug, und – last but not least – eine ebenso funktionelle wie bequeme Rckenlehne.
Aufgrund immer wiederkehrender Kritik in div. Rezensionen an dem (angebl. zu groen) Abstand der Rckenlehne zur Sitzflche, sah ich mich schon im Geiste Flex oder Eisensge ansetzen, um den Bgel der Lehne unter der Sitzflche ein Stck zu krzen, und so den Abstand praktikabel zu gestalten…
…was sich aber nach dem Zusammenbau (im Karton in 4 Teile zerlegt: Untergestell, Sitzflche, Lehne u. Bgel) in Luft auflste: Den Bgel bis zum Anschlag in der Fhrung unter d. Sitzflche eingeschoben u. fixiert, d. Lehne bis bndig rauf zur Abdeckkappe des Bgels u. fixiert – und siehe da, es ist PERFEKT!
Ich sitze aufrecht und habe dennoch festen Kontakt mit dem Rcken zur Lehne – besser geht’s praktisch gar nicht mehr – also genau so, wie’s (auch) von Profis in Bezug auf d. Sitzhaltung am Set empfohlen wird!
Wer damit (dennoch) ein Problem hat, ist entweder mit einer merkwrdigen Physiognomie gestraft, hat einen anderen Hocker, oder sitzt irgendwie vllig falsch / krumm / oder sonst wie unnatrlich an seiner “Schiebude”.
Vielleicht ist’s ja mal fr den Einen oder Anderen an der Zeit, einen Physiotherapeuten oder gar Orthopden aufzusuchen…?
Zusammenfassend komme ich zu der Feststellung, dass es zwar auch (mindestens) einen Hocker mit Rckenlehne schon fr knapp unter 100,- gibt, aber der kann dann auch nicht mit einem Samtvelours-Sitzbezug (mit dem auch die Rckenlehne bezogen ist) punkten, was aber die – zumindest mir bekannten – wesentl. teureren Hocker ebenfalls nicht knnen.
Ob Leder, oder gar Kunstleder – im Sommer schwitzig-nass u. “klebrig” (zumindest in kurzem “Beinkleid”) u. im Winter buchstbl. arschkalt.
Auf dem >>Gibraltar<< sitzt man hingegen im Sommer trocken u. im Winter angenehm krperwarm - auch am Rcken - und das zudem auf einer ausgesprochen dicken Sitzpolsterung. Fest, aber nicht zu hart und dennoch weich genug, dass es auch nach lngeren Sessions nicht unangenehm drckt, was sowohl leichtgewichtigere Drummer als auch schwerere "Brocken" zufrieden stellen drfte. Meine 102 Kilo fhlen sich jedenfalls sauwohl darauf. Dicke, massive Gummife machen den "Tron" gleichermaen rutschfest wie standsicher, wozu u.a. natrl. auch die massiven Doppelstreben des Untergestells ihren Teil beitragen, der Memory Lock fr die Hheneinstellung hlt bombenfest u. zuverlssig die eingestellte Hhe - egal ob man die Sitzflche nun fixiert (starr / nicht drehend), oder man sich - wie bei mir der Fall - dafr entscheidet, den Sitz frei drehend zu nutzen (was schon allein das Platznehmen / Verlassen des Sets deutl. erleichtert, vor allen Dingen bei beengten Platzverhltnissen), wie berhaupt alle Ein-/Feststellmechaniken aus meiner Sicht schon Profiqualitt aufweisen und einmal eingestellt wackelt, klappert oder kippelt da nirgends mehr was und erfordert auch spter keinerlei Nach-/Einstellarbeiten mehr, was man allerdings bei diesem Preis dann auch erwarten darf. Unterm Strich gesehen kann er also alles besser als die billige(r)en, aber eben auch nix schlechter als die teure(re)n. Fazit: Ein wirkl. edler Hocker mit Profi-Merkmalen zu einem (noch) akzeptablen Preis, der schon aufgrund seines Bezugsstoffes in gewisser Weise ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal darstellt. berraschender Weise kostet er z.Zt. allerdings 179,- - whrend ich im Dezember 2019 noch 10,- weniger dafr berappen musste - womit er sich dann allerdings preisl. schon wieder merklich in Richtung der hochpreisige(r)en Hocker bewegt. Darber zu urteilen verkneife ich mir an dieser Stelle aber und freue mich statt dessen ber die Ersparnis (...?...). Ich htte ihn auch fr den aktuellen Preis noch genommen, wrde mich aber zugegebenermaen schwarz rgern, zu lange mit der Kaufentscheidung gewartet zu haben. Bei dem Superangebot zu einem Edel-Rasierer in der "Black Friday - Woche" (im selben Monat) ist mir genau das passiert... ...allerdings war die - verpasste - Ersparnis im Vergleich dazu schon drastisch. Die alte Leier: Wer zu spt kommt, den bestraft... ...wer oder was auch immer.

I wish that I had bought it a long time ago. It's so comfortable that I could sleep in/on it. And, I don't think that I've ever seen one more sturdy than this one is. It was discounted for being a blem, but I can't find a blemish on it. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions are not user friendly, and it was a challenge to assemble it.

This chair/throne/stool has worked out great. I use it at home for practicing guitar. My back doesn’t hurt anymore when I practice and I can rock back against the backrest without any issues. Good cushioning on the back and the butt. Heavy duty. Not a stool for wimps.

Like many others who purchase a throne, I am not a drummer. I purchased this to sit central to my home studio activities – Computer, Keyboard, Guitars. The seat is firmly padded and comfortable through long sessions. The anti-slip velour like fabric is cool and much more comfortable than vinyl. The packing, shipping and assembly were all spot on with out any issues. My only most minor nit is the hight lockout (memory) clamp wants a head key to use the square head – again, not a drummer. A longer knurled bolt so I could use a thumb would be nice.. so minor – but true. Still a five star deal.

I purchased this as a gift for an avid guitar player, per his request. He was absolutely thrilled with it. He said it was very comfortable, great for playing guitar and gave support for his back while playing. He said he would be taking it to practices and his sets at the Blue Bird.

Got it to take to the rifle range, instead of using range seats/box. Took it today and worked awesome! Gave the info to another guy who was using a regular stool. Felt sturdy for the three hours I used it, comfortable and height adjustment works great. Everything about it I liked. I’m not saying it “because I bought it”, I’m saying it because it was a great investment and wish I had done it years ago.

I have a tricky back and wanted a guitar seat that was ultra comfortable. This seat is everything I was hoping for. Verry adjustable and very comfortable for long practice sessions.

Very nice throne. It is really heavy and well built. It is very comfortable, but as others have mentioned, the backrest is too far back to provide support while playing. If it didn’t have as much of a bend in the backrest bracket it would be much better. I’m thinking I might try to straighten the bracket a bit. Other than that, its a great piece of equipment. I would give five stars if the backrest was better.

to sit on the sofa to play drums and uke. Sit just right and you can play
with the backrest dug into the small of your back. Ahhhhhh… And, the
backrest is attached to the seat, so it swivels when you turn.
I had to replace my comfortable Tama throne quickly and inexpensively. This throne was the best value for a sturdy seat with a backrest from a company with an excellent reputation. A huge plus is that the seat is covered and not slippery with my dress slacks. So far I love it!

Seat- Very comfortable especially for a bigger guy, gives the tush the “just right” feeling
Legs- very secure and stable
Adjustability/memory lock- confusing and doesn’t come with instructions of how to adjust. We haven’t done any internet research and I’m sure there is a simple answer to our confusion but it is actually the height needed when put together so no huge drive to find out what we are doing wrong. I think it all comes down to the memory lock.
A great throne only drawback is that it isn’t a hydraulic lift, but I knew that when purchasing it and no great information of the memory lock with the packaging.
Bought this for my keyboard playing guitarist who likes the occasional night of rock band drums. It has worked well for all three above and even has his drummer brother maybe a bit envious that this may be better than his. (which it is :)!)

This throne is well built and very comfortable. I weigh over two hundred pounds and it seems very stable to me. It’s a little bulky for travel but the comfort of the moto seat and back rest are well worth the hassell.
This is an awesome chair. The only thing I don’t like about it is the limited seat height adjustment capabilities. If your a real tall guy, you might feel this is too short. EXTREMELY comfortable.
I can’t imagine something better (for the most part). I switched from a Mapex thick to this and it’s soo much more comfortable with the soft material and foam. The back rest makes it even better.
If I had one gripe it would be that the seat base is a little too big for me. I’m about 6′ and am thin so it seems there’s a bit too much room. But that’s the least of anything – it’s too comfortable and with the spiral type height adjustment it’s so much easier than a screw type. The base seems wider to me than my Mapex chair-good.
