Good first impressions
Really easy to assemble. Took 10mins. First impressions are that it’s quite small, almost toy like but guess that’s the modern way and it’s my first cordless mower too. Wee bit heavier than I expected but this is coming from a cheaper corded Flymo that I’ve had for 10 years. Quite quiet. Has enough power as long as you don’t expect it to cut 6inch long grass quickly. My grass is 50sq m so I reckon I’ll get 2 cuts out of one of the batteries. (TBC) Build quality seems decent. Only used it on my slightly damp grass for its first cut this year but reckon it will perform well in the drier summer months. Don’t understand why it doesn’t have a roller, it seems to have enough weight. That’s the only downside I’ve seen so fa

What a fantastic machine. Lightweight and easy to move about. Battery gives you plenty of cutting time, which was important when we were choosing a lawn mower as we have quite a bit of grass and didnt wanna faff about with cables…or chopping it in half! This Greenworks mower was recommended to us and I’m now recommending it.

Easy to use lawn mowe
I purchased this lawn mower (without a battery) as i already had other batteries from other green works tools that i had. At first i hated this lawn mower, as i could not put it together correctly and found that it was too low for me, compared to my petrol mower. There is no height adjustment on this mower, not helped by the fact that i had the handle incorrectly placed, once i realised the issue, the height problem disappeared, although if you are quite tall, i am only 5’8″ i can imagine this could be a bit of an issue. However, overall the mower works well, it is noisier than i was expecting, but i can cut my grass on one battery charge for 25/30 mins without any issues. Like all lawn mowers it does not like overly long grass, so it needs to be set at its highest point at the start of a season or after a 2 week holiday.
As with other green works products they are great to use and have, but the initial instructions are pretty rubbish as i found out again this time around, I had previously purchased a strimmer, power washer, and hedge trimmer, but they came with batteries so now a have a stock of 3 that i can rotate across everything. One big plus, is that i do not have to take a petrol can down to get it filled anymore.

I had to recently return this under the 2 year warranty. Either the batteries would no longer hold charge or the charger would not charge them. The lawnmower struggles to cut longer grass and drains the battery. It also fails to go into the collection box and instead just clumps around the blade all the time. It was however a quiet lawnmower compared to others, it was easy to adjust the height and folded down for storage. I was just unlucky and had one that failed. I have a big back lawn and this lawnmower just wasn’t up to the job.

Rispetto ad uno a scoppio chiaramente meno potente e con l’erba alta fatica un po’,ma s si usa su erba da sfoltire di una misura non troppo eccessiva va che una meraviglia, il prezzo giusto a parer mio. La batteria dura circa 20 minuti ma si ricarica in 30. Per rasare erba di un prato di casa va benissimo, per lavori in terreni accidentati o con ramaglie pi consistenti serve qualcosa di sicuramente pi potente. Soddisfatto al primo utilizzo!!
When the lawnmower was delivered the box was marked as having heavy contents. The box markings were not incorrect!
The grass desperately needed a cut and got one. First cut of the year. The lawnmower coped with the long and uneven grass, was easy to use and just as easy to clean. Well impressed, by a humble lawnmower.
No problem with the batteries as they have a little button, that when pressed, shows the charge state of the battery. Also have other cordless equipment from the same manufacturer and was hoping that the batteries were interchangeable. They appear to be.
This lawnmower replaces my previous cordless lawnmower, mainly replaced due to the inability to get spare batteries for the old lawnmower. My sons will benefit!

Jahreszeit bedingt kann ich noch nichts berichten. Geladen ist er und wir empfinden ihn nicht zu laut, wie sich ein Rasenmher eben anhrt. Was uns allerdings gefllt, dass der Rasenmher mit Akku geladen wird und man beim Mhen auf kein herumliegendes Stromkabel achten muss.

OK for small level grass
The machine was light and easy to use. The weight was ideal and maybe I did not realise that this meant it would not be powerful enough for what I wanted it to do and the condition of my grass.

Buying a second Greenworks mower enables me to have one in front garden and one in back garden which means going up and down 20 steps. So much safer. No cables to trip over.

Im not the best at building things but this was easy to assemble. It is good quality & works well. The battery lasts well- i managed to cut the grass & have charge left over. The only thing that could be better is the cutting levels. Could really have done with a cutting level between the lowest and the level 2. On our lawn the lowest can be too close, especially if your lawn is slightly uneven, whereas level 2 doesn’t touch it really.
Good battery life so far. About 20mins. We ordered 2 batteries.

EIN MINUSPUNKT ist allerdings der KUNDENSERVICE VON GREENWORKS. Wirklich Auskunft und Hilfe bekommt man da nicht. Amazon musste einspringen.

A doddle to use and very safe
After electrocuting my self with a corded lawnmower, this is a dream. No wires, 2 batteries, one on charge the other in use. Four cuts per charge. Its great.

Good for cutting small areas of grass! Battery took a very long time to charge after delivery. Upto 6 hours, but fine after!

As it’s a lawnmower I thought I might use it for cutting the lawn, this was not successful as the plastic handle that starts the motor broke. A new part is being sent by Greenworks free of charge.

easy to put together, up and running in quick time and out in the garden to test run it!
the mulcher is brilliant, can’t see the grass bits at all. Dont expect to use the grass box much if its as good as that, and the bonus is the grass gets fed each time I cut it 🙂
the only thing I wasn’t sure of and time will tell is the mechanism for the height adjustment seemed a bit twerky, not as good as the 41cm machine, but have set it for a height I think I will leave it at, so wont be messing with is much.
Overall pleased with the mower, the blower and the new strimmer I ordered off the back of seeing the first two, now I have a good system all cordless and uses the same batteries all for the garden – lets hope we get a good summer :-)))

Whoever thought of having one battery to fit all of a brands tools, had a brilliant idea. It handy for the manufactures, because you keep buying other tools from their range. I think I have 5 GreenWorks gardening tools now – they all work well. If you have the opportunity to buy 2 batteries, go for it. Now and again GreenWorks makes that offer.

Light weight perfect for narrow path
The only issue was the battery wasn’t working long enough after full charge. The seller requested a new charger straight away. It turns out that the charger was fine, but battery needed several use before getting to its peak performance. Still not found out why the first 4 charges on it allowed 12-15 mins mowing time.

The instruction book leaves something to be desired, particularly in assembly and adjustment of the handle .Apart from that the unit worked very well and was comfortable to operate. The mulching operation was very efficient.
La pelouse n’a jamais t autant tondue !!! Monsieur voulait une tondeuse maniable pour circuler entre les massifs, les arbres et arbustes. Il se rgale avec celle-ci. Le bonheur aprs les grosses tondeuses essence autotractes et plus difficiles manuvrer. Sans parler du dmarrage au 1/4 de tour. Plus besoin de s’puiser en tirant sur la ficelle.

Excellent charge in battery
This is a great mower and does everything expected of a more expensive mower. The mulching feature particularly helpful during the dry weather. Charge us good, can do the garden twice in one charge. Used to take half an hour to do front and back garden, now takes less than 20 minutes. So easy without a mains cable and a lot quieter than my old mower. All in all, a great buy

This was bought a month ago to replace a Bosch mower because I was fed up with the cable. The Greenworks is very easy to use and I’ve had several comments on how good the cut looks. It takes less than half the time to cut the grass now and a friend has ordered one on my recommendation.
The following is to provide some information I would have liked when I was researching which mower to go for –
1. BATTERY LIFE
My lawn is c. 120 square meters. A single 40 volt battery charge lasts for 2 cuts and it also comes with a spare battery. I suspect most reviewers complaining of insufficient battery life had bought versions with the older, weaker battery but the current one is more than enough in my experience. The batteries recharge really quickly.
2. CUT HEiGHT
I have seen a review saying that this mower doesn’t cut the grass short enough. I like mine at medium height and the medium setting does that for me! However, here is plenty of scope for closer cuts. The manual says to lower the height you move the lever forward whereas to lower the height you actually move the lever backward so I suppose it’s possible this has caused a bit of confusion.
3. LONG GRASS
If the grass has got very long I do a high cut and then a medium one and the mower copes fine with this.
so far, a very good acquisition. Just be aware that it has rear wheels rather than a roller so if you want stripes then look elsewhere.

Der Mher macht optisch einen guten Eindruck, was Verarbeitung und Stabilitt betrifft.
Akku war schnell aufgeladen und im ersten Einsatz hat sich das Teil bewhrt.
Der Motor zieht kraftvoll durch und hat gengend Power, um auch schwierige (dichte, etwas hhere) Stellen im Gras gut zu bewltigen.
Der Mher ist leicht zu bewegen.
Der Grasfangkorb ist ausreichend gro, um nicht stndig eine Leerung vornehmen zu mssen. Die Aufhngung des Korbes stabil und sicher (im Gegensatz zu den meisten Billiggerten).
Leider ist die Angabe der mit einer Akkuladung zu mhenden Flche mit “bis zu 500 m” malos bertrieben.
Im ersten Einsatz mit vollem Akku, hat die Kapazitt gerade mal fr etwas mehr als 200 m gereicht. Will bzw. muss man richtig “schaffen”, ist ein Akku mit 4 Ah die bessere Variante.
Fazit: Den Kauf nicht grundstzlich bereut, weil das Gert gut zu handhaben ist und mit einem 2 Ah Akku fr kleine Rasenflchen bestens geeignet. Fr grere Flchen muss man halt auf einen leistungsstrkeren Akku ausweichen.

Das Mhen ohne lstiges Kabel war eine Freude. Der Rasen wurde ordentlich gemht und bei ca. 70 qm Flche fehlte von der Ladeanzeige nur ein Feld. Soweit sehr gut.
Leider hatte der Rasenmher einen Montagefehler der auf eine sehr unzureichende Endkontrolle hinweist. Die Gelenkauflage der Auswurfklappe war auf halber Lnge eingeklemmt, wodurch die Klappe durch die Zugfeder verbogen wurde. Somit wurde der Fangkorb nicht richtig verschlossen u. Schnittgut flog am Fangkorb vorbei.
Um die Umstnde der Retoure zu vermeiden, habe ich es selbst repariert. Sollten weitere Probleme auftreten werde ich diese Rezension ndern u. den Rasenmher zurckschicken.
Pros: no cord, suction is good (brought up pile of dead leaves no problem), cut a medium sized lawn (approx 200 metres squared) on a little over half a battery.
Cons: lowest cutting setting is useless unless you are cutting a putting green, hits the ground constantly. I also get the feeling that if you are doing first big cut of the year in long grass then it won’t forgive you, you will have to gradually cut down. Also, the lever to hold down is only on the right hand. It’s annoyingbamd more difficult to hold than a traditional bar across the top and can also lead to cut outs when going around corners.
Wishes: that it had a second handle on grass container to make tipping easier.
Overall: definitely a keeper compared to the hassle of a corded electric mower, but not without flaws!
